I told people to not buy the fake cards. First off stand up with the rest of us and say no, the more of us the better. And secondly, they think we’re being vilified for not getting the injections? Wait until the injected find out not only were they duped into getting them, but that many, many famous people lied and didn’t get them.

Yes, similar to Religious Exemptions. I had to do a RE to keep my job. It was a low point in my career to share my innermost relationship with God to my woke-HR department full of kool-aid-hair libtards.

My main lunch buddy got fired, as he refused to do an RE. He lost so much wealth in that decision. I said, bruh, do what you can to keep your family going and do the RE. He stuck by his principles. I admire him greatly for that. What if we all avoided the Exemptions and got fired, would that have helped stop the whole thing?

It's like fake vaxx cards. You gotta do what's best to avoid the jabs and keep some income going. Fight another day.

Interesting perspective. I also received a religious exemption but didn't consider it a low point at all, if anything the opposite. I viewed it as an opportunity to share the gospel with someone in HR. Probably a bit contradictory, but I also viewed as an opportunity to demonstrate my knowledge of the law along with my ironclad request and dare them to fire me.

I'm at the point where I can afford to retire but not quite ready to do so yet. I have to admit I was a little disappointed when it was granted. I had psyched myself up for a lawsuit and had already started drafting the complaint with my attorney sister when it was granted.

I too used it to share God's love. In a roundabout way, it also brought some of my close friends closer to God, by seeing His work through us. He’s always working. I also have the utmost respect, yet a lot of sadness, for a friend who decided not to do a RE because she didn’t want to be a hypocrite. She has turned away from God years ago. I’m praying she finds her way back.

If I could have found a fake vaccination I would have done it. I am with the statement live to fight another day. Does anyone remember the movie invasion of the body snatchers? This vaccination madness reminds me of that movie. At the end all humans had been taken over by aliens but only three were faking compliance and pretended to be mummy like servants to the aliens. Pretty scary movie. Mom took me I was a child and it haunts me today. I blame my mother for this trauma. 😂 I must have been six I still remember that movie.

We went skiing in Colorado. My boys (11,14) wanted to take lessons. If you were 12 or under you didn't need to be vaccinated. If you were 15 or older you were considered an adult and didn't need to be vaccinated. If you were 13 or 14 it was required. I asked the person in charge if they realized how idiotic it was and they replied they had to follow the rules. The next day we showed up with a picture on my phone of my 14 year old son's 'vaccination card' and no one said anything.

How so? Not questioning your decision, but wishing to understand why you feel this way.

Employment religious accommodation is a legally-protected right under the Civil Rights Act of 1964. I found it empowering (to use a favorite word of the left) to confidently exercise this right. It was also fun to ensure the HR drone knew they if they didn't take my request seriously they would be personally responsible for getting the company sued.

Again, I understand we all have are own reasons for doing things so this isn't meant to be judgmental. Just mentioning that I did not find it at all demeaning to demand my religious beliefs be respected. In fact it was the opposite.

Expand full comment
Julia's avatar

It's correct, it's a legally protected right. However, employers shouldn't request private info (medical or religious) unless it's absolutely necessary for the job. And they can't prove it's necessary for the job, like preventing transmission. They can respect your medical and religious choices without prying into them.

I base this argument on research in CA, where I live (disclaimer, I'm not a legal professional).

It's where they trick you, "vx" vs "proof". Maybe, the jab is required directly in some specific settings (healthcare) but for everybody I know the requirement was "submit your proof of vx or RE". Not a requirement to get vxxed! The answer is "none of your business", literarily. Some friends got RE approved, my husband ignored the request, other friends (jabbed!) ignored it saying "plenty of jobs". The argument was never put to testing, though, as those companies dropped the requirement.

First, “Nothing about Ukraine without Ukraine.” Ukraine is the third most corrupt country in the world, and the number 1 money laundering scheme for US politicians. Why send them $40B? Because a huge portion of that comes back to companies and foundations run by relatives and friends of the politicians that approved the expenditure. This kick back scheme can’t happen without the knowledge and participation of Ukrainian leaders. So, of course there will be nothing about Ukraine without Ukraine. Second, the op Ed is not a pivot. It’s a set up to craft the narrative that the US must send MORE billions of fiat money to Ukraine to stabilize a worsening situation and give Ukraine strength at the bargaining table. The next part of the narrative will be, “We must send Ukraine more military and humanitarian aid so they can get to the negotiating table. US politicians will ride this money laundering pony until the US citizens revolt. Third, the White House is not in a panic over inflation and the pResident’s poll numbers. He was “installed” for exactly this reason, to be a figurehead during the purposeful destruction of our country. Whoever writes his op Eds and puts the words on the teleprompter runs the country. It’s nit the installed resident of the WH We must get this straight, what’s happening to the country in terms of inflation, energy shortages, food shortages, baby formula shortages, massive unchecked illegals invading our borders, election fraud, Afghanistan, Ukraine, IS ALL ON PURPOSE. It’s a feature not a bug. We’ve got to stop thinking that “they really don’t want this, it’s just incompetence.” It’s intentional. This phony vax card thing is much bigger than people think IMO. We saw soccer players dropping dead on the field all over the world, yet not a single instance in the NFL, NBA, NHL, or MLB?

Think about it, if you were a highly trained athlete making millions a year based on your peak performance, would you risk it all on an experimental injection? All for a disease that poses virtually zero risk for someone your age? Also, when you only have ten years or so to make the money and then are considered washed up?

Sports medicine has always had an ethical stink to it, with stories of trainers looking the other way in regards to steroids and illicit drug use. I would not be surprised at all if it was also facilitating phony vax card rings.

Fake vax cards are much more prevalent than just for the elite Spaniards. They’re just the ones who got caught. Don’t think for one second those fake cards weren’t being handed out like candy all over the world to elites, and ordinary peasants if they could find a doc willing to do it. In another state a doc was squirting the injection into a garbage can and sending patients on their way with their card.

I wish that everyone would’ve just stood up and said no. This would’ve been over a lot faster with a lot less deaths and unexplained weird deaths. But we know it takes courage and strength as well as strong faith to stand against tyranny, which we know this world is lacking in all three. It’s sad.

Ukraine was avoiding the GMO/Monsanto products for a long time. But as their economy suffered since the 2014 CIA-sponsored upheavals, they had to accept GMO products as a part of financial aid packages.

Russia also banned all GMO products, and since 2014 has gone from #3 producer of grains (US and Canada were 1 and 2) to #1, as much of the world prefers organic products not drenched in pesticides (Round-Up) and requiring special seeds from Bill Gate's Monsanto corporation.

Well, the Scamdemic strikes. Some say Bill Gates played a part in that as well. This has helped destroy the food/fuel supply chain, causing food panics and possibly famine, which sets up the governments to take over food production using GMO products.

And you have the same governments pushing Ukraine to host NATO nukes, which forced the Russian intervention.

Bill Gates wins if the Scamdemic forces us into compulsory jabs (which his industries sells).

He wins with Ukraine being destabilized and forced into IMF loans with requirements to use his GMO products.

He wins if Russia's organic grain exports are blocked from the west.

Interesting how Ukraine/Russia and the Covid Scandemic are actually intertwined.

re:Fake Vaccine Cards.

I had the option to do this and declined. There are very few times in your life where you can stand up for what you believe in and make a difference.

I’m now paying the price. I’ve been treated as a 2nd class corporate citizen (barred from seeing coworkers, client and vendors face to face) and am being forced into a role I don’t want. They won’t even let me in the office because I’m not jabbed. Can’t go to social functions either. I’m expected to sit in my basement and bend over for my corporate masters.

I know for a fact, others faked their cards. Had they all had the courage to stand up, things would be very different where I work today. Instead, I have to hear leadership gloat that they have almost 100% compliance and how I have different ideological beliefs.

I’ll depart soon, but the behavior of our leadership was surprising.

My point is, if all these people REFUSED to get jabbed and didn’t take the easy way out, our world would look very different right now. I’m sad that more people didn’t stand up.

I can't afford a lawyer, I'm just trying to survive like the rest of us I suppose, I'm just a travel nurse not a genius lol! So know what makes me saltier? Gas prices and all that money we sent to Ukraine. Don't get me started on the price of meat or eggs.

There are places that do accept exemptions and I am confident you will find one. I have. Even here on the ‘Left Coast.’

Which organizations or employers are doing 'exemption' versus 'accommodation'? My employer does the latter; I was hired as a remote worker, to periodically visit home office but office wasn't open most of 2021. If they decide my presence is absolutely required, I will be unemployed.

I’m sorry to hear that Flavia, I hope you’re able to find work. I said I can understand why someone would do it, but I can’t condone it. We will get through this.

I always thought Biden was dementia ridden and they pumped him full of drugs to get him out for appearances. Now I wonder if they pump him full of drugs to make it appear he is dementia ridden. They can pull the strings, he can’t be gotten rid of, and he won’t interfere by saying something rational.

My pet theory is that Biden family corruption made him the perfect vehicle for bringing about this agenda. Joe Biden is "kompromat" personified.

It was obvious that the fix for Joe was in after he magically won the South Carolina primary and the democrat contenders began to drop in rapid succession. The op-eds that followed during 2020 praising Joe's experience and reputation as a centrist signaled the massive media snow-job that was taking place. People who I once respected like Andrew Bacevich penned thought pieces about why they had "no choice morally" but to support Biden. (Now the ones with any remaining integrity like Naomi Wolf are admitting that they were duped and are begging for forgiveness). Kamala's nomination as VP ensures that he is impeachment proof.

Joe never stood for anything in his life. He's an opportunist and a pathological liar. Joe does what he's told and for the most part reads from the script. Frankly, I am willing to bet that the moments when Joe appears to stray from the narrative are also calculated.

My theory is that OBiden / JObama has been pulling the strings. His fingerprints are all over the lined up executive orders. The old man is the prop to blame - the scape goat.

Now that is something I’ve never heard. Wow. That is actually a very interesting statement. What if we have had it backwards all along!

When my church would not give religious exemptions, I lost all faith in it! I deleted all emails and walked away to a higher level of who God intends us to be…many as one!

There is a very large evangelical church I know of and its pastor was extremely vocal against the vaccines. He was giving REs to anyone who showed up at his church at various designated times. My nurse daughter heard about it and got one, which was accepted by her nursing facility without a problem. This is in N. California.

That is wonderful! My church was in Atlanta and completely sold out! Where in CA?

It's been sad to watch churches cave so easily. I know of one church where the pastor proudly announced that the denomination would not be giving any religious exemptions. Then again, I know of a couple of other churches where they announced exemption events. They brought in lawyers, and people could go get their religious excemptions.

“Nothing about Ukraine without Ukraine" makes sense to me. We're not going to make deals with Russia about Ukraine without Kiev's buy-in. Contrast to the Munich betrayal in 1938, when the allies simply decided that Czechoslovakia had to hand over land to Germany.

Not saying the Munich analogy is apt for the current situation -- or that the Biden administration is stating its policy honestly -- but on its face, I think that's what the phrase means.

The Munich analogy does apply. Think about the First World War, really why it happened, and the real reason the U.S. ultimately became involved on the side of the Entente. Nothing occurs in a vacuum and without the very wealthy and powerful plotting the course. "Ukraine" followed the script.
