I saw an article in the NYT stating that Justice Thomas should recuse himself from Jan 6’th dealings because his wife was texting someone in Trumps administration on January 6’th. The belief is that Thomas has a conflict of interest. Although 🦗 when Sotomayor was airing her overt and clearly false biases over mandating healthcare workers inject a substance into their bodies. The overt bias of our media is complete propaganda at this time. It’s no longer informative.

I had the exact same reaction. It's clear Sotomayor has either a totally inept staff or knowingly lied to her fellow justices and all of America in her statements about COVID and the jab, but no one's threatening her with impeachment. Maybe we should be.

I’m actually having a terrified Tuesday reading this Jeff- I appreciate the deep dive you do to find out the details of all of these blot clot related deaths. I am still reeling from the 3 Cuyahoga county Ohio judges who died within 10 days of each other getting the mandatory jab (McDonnell, Russo and Jones) because without this info I would never have put that together since the connection was supressed/buried. Not only did I know 2 of these 3 judges, but Nancy McDonnell attended my father’s funeral in 2019 (he was a judge and colleague of all 3 of them). Not even my stepmother, who was a legal secretary for 45 years and an 80 year resident of Cleveland knew the connection. May they Rest In Peace. Thank you for continually connecting the dots.

I remember when Rush Limbaugh said "Mark my words"

Rush Limbaugh tied the push to legalize same-sex marriages to a "movement to normalize pedophilia," arguing: "What has happened to gay marriage? It’s become normal."

“There is a movement on to normalize pedophilia, and I guarantee you your reaction to that is probably much the same as your reaction when you first heard about gay marriage,” Limbaugh said on his show on Monday. “What has happened to gay marriage? It’s become normal — and in fact, with certain people in certain demographics it’s the most important issue in terms of who they vote for.”

He added: “So don’t pooh-pooh. There’s a movement to normalize pedophilia. Don’t pooh-pooh it. The people behind it are serious, and you know the left as well as I do. They glom onto something and they don’t let go.”

Expand full comment
Mel's avatar

Well, I don’t think you can say pedophilia and being gay or lesbian is the same. How about all those heterosexual men who abuse little girls? They are legion. Homosexuality is not the same thing as pedophilia. For the record, I’m a straight woman, happily married to a straight man. That said, little children in kindergarten through third grade, don’t need to be asked, “What’s your name and pronoun?”

Expand full comment
DogsLife's avatar

It's all about opening the door - the camel's nose thing. The homosexual nod was just the beginning of normalizing all things "sexual." The psychiatric community has been behind this movement for decades. They were empowered by knocking down the first barrier, mainly because most of them needed to be affirmed in their own perversion.

I actually believe the lawful murder of the innocents (abortion) was the first step. Then the rest of the sexual perversions came in full swing. Only a very twisted society would so easily engage in the legalized killing of babies.

She's not saying they're the same.

She's saying that the first move - gay marriage - was to normalize it. Which they've done.

The second move - pedophilia - has nothing to do with gays or lesbians per se. It's a movement unto itself, and the effort is to normalize it.

Expand full comment
Mel's avatar

Well, I don’t see a thing wrong with marriage equality for gay people. Pedophilia, whether practiced by a heterosexual or a homosexual, is a violation of innocent children. I guess that is where we part ways. Not a matter of “normalizing” it. People who love each other should be able to engage in the institution of marriage. Marriage is a social glue, it protects and encourages family life and for many people, gays included, it is a sacrament. I don’t see why gay people should be denied that right and enjoyment.

Expand full comment
Based Florida Man's avatar

I use to feel that way, but no longer. I'm back to the more conservative position that marriage is a Christian concept, between a man and a woman.

Otherwise, why not support 3 or more in a marriage? What about adding in an animal? Children? They'll never stop crouching toward gomarah.

Boom! That's my stance, too: Take the gov't out of marriage altogether. It's a religion/tradition-based bond, defined however any group chooses to define it. That's all well and good, but your opinion on gay marriage is irrelevant to your implication if not assertion ("Well, I don’t think you can say pedophilia and being gay or lesbian is the same") that Barbara was saying that homosexuality and pedophilia are "the same".

She was saying that the gay marriage issue was intended to normalize it.

She's saying the pedophilia issue is intended to normalize it.

She's *not* saying that the two matters are one and the same. She's only saying that the *normalizing* process is the same.

Expand full comment
Mel's avatar

You are being disingenuous. And yes, she implied pedophilia was linked to being gay. It is not. It is a pathology of some both straight and gay people. Don’t keep arguing about what someone else’s comment meant. Let her defend her own comment. She can do that herself if she wants to.

Expand full comment
¡Andrew the Great!'s avatar

No I'm not, and I'll defend others' words anytime I like.

In fact, I'm defending Rush's words primarily, against your mistaken conflation, because Barbara's comment was mostly quoting Rush.

If your take were correct, then the move to normalize pedophilia would die on the vine, because there's not enough pedos to make it happen.

But there ARE enough Leftists and Democrats who support normalizing pedophilia.

The dangerous pathology isn't so much pedophilia (a fringe and evil perversion) as it is Leftism, because the latter is necessary for the success of the former being normalized.

On the gay marriage part I agree with you. My Dad was gay and the relationship he had with his partner was based on love and respect. I'm still in contact with his partner. I’m glad your Dad had a good relationship that was supportive and loving. Some people aren’t so lucky. I was an AIDS hospice nurse back in the 1990s before the protease inhibitors came out. So many people died. A mother had kicked her 17 year old son out of the house because he was gay and when he was 22, while he lay dying, she finally came to visit him and said, “I forgive you- do you forgive mommy?” And he said, “No. I can’t forgive what you did to me.” Then he died soon after. That scene always haunted me as his nurse. She had been so cruel to him for so many years, rejecting him and shutting him out of her life and she had the nerve to say she forgave him…. Hmmmm… I don’t blame him for how he felt. She should have been on her knees begging his forgiveness.

Now add the word 'sexual' in front of that. We all know what the 'norm' was at one time and it was holy and pure and there was nothing abnormal about it. The fit was there for procreation first and enjoyment as a plus for the two who fit together. I agree with Rush.

Taking a stand has been a real lesson in being just one person. I cancelled my Citibank Visa when that company made employees get vaccinated. I cancelled DisneyPlus the other day. Today, I deactivate my Facebook after downloading all of my files and pictures. To these things, I was told "You're one person. That isn't going to hurt them." All I could think of in reply is being told over the years how we need to execute our desires through voting. One vote counts. Each vote counts. Turns out, they don't really count because there is fraud, manipulation, personal and corporate greed. As for Disney, I won't explain to them the $$ they'll lose. But I'll collectively let them know how I'm wiping them out from my life--as soon as I rework my upcoming trip to Florida to cancel the WDW reservations. Since I also film churches, I'm going to make it into a Florida roadtrip to get some church filming in. Which I suppose is neither here nor there within these comments, it's just cathartic for me to write this down and work through all of this crap in my head. Thanks to whomever is listening.

Don’t you think after a hundreds years of this political chicanery, don’t you think it’s about time we wake up to the games they’re playing.

"People love to go to Disneyland"...

That's the problem actually. Children love to go to Disneyland and parents love to go there to see the joy on the children's faces. Why would any adult "love" to go to Disneyland for reasons other than that? As St Paul said, "When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child; but when I became a man, I put away childish things." Far too many adults "love" to go to Disneyland because they never grew up, and remain infantilized in a world of fantasy.

Disney knows exactly who their market is, it's not so much entertaining kids but primarily emotionally-stunted adults. Look how many childless adults (and empty nesters too) flock to the place, it's not normal and a sign of deep immaturity. None of this is any surprise, Disney has made a calculated decision here to cater to their core market.

Expand full comment
Bandit's avatar

Maybe these "immature" adults didn't get to go as kids and would still like to ride the rides, or go to Epcot. Maybe the empty nesters want to go to remember the good times they had there with their kids. - Theater

- Opera

- Skeet shooting

- Skiing

- Wine tasting

- Hiking the John Muir Trail

- Touring the ruins of ancient Greece

- Visiting historical battlefields that they have read about

- Museums

- etc.

Places grown-ups don't go:

- Fantasy amusement parks designed for children

- Superhero movies

- Starbucks serving sugar-laden milkshakes mislabeled as coffee
