Zawahiri didn't die twice, it was an extremely rare breakthrough, rebound death. Totally different.

I am not a health care provider, but I would guess a "loose cough" is when you cough up garbage, B.S. and horse sh*t. He has had this cough for decades. Now it is simply being diagnosed and disclosed by his doctor.

At first I was searching for some more good “God’s going to get them” passages, but felt led to refocus our (my) thoughts:

Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice! Let your gentle spirit be known to all men. The Lord is near. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, dwell on these things.

— Philippians 4:4-8 NASB1995

(And now to read Jeff’s letter…)

My daughter and I (and the dog) are on a road trip. We are headed AWAY from Biden Falls and headed toward Pensacola, Florida. Our soon to be new home state. I read your blog while my daughter is driving. Oh my gosh! We laughed our way through your hilarious perspective of the twilight zone in which we live. When I want to blow a gasket over the death of children for no reason or the tax dollars wasted because of an imaginary health crisis (I could do a lot with 45,000 per monkeypox case), you help me remember to take care of what I can take care of and find humor in what I cannot.

I’m not worried about moneypox. However, we need to pay attention to this rush to give immunocompromised folks (injected, and/or HIV positive, and/or generally the homosexual lifestyle) a live virus vaccine.

It historically is not a practice that has been done.

How do we know that these folks’ immune systems are not going to allow these live viruses (smallpox, by the way) in the latest jabs to begin propagating, with possible resultant community spread? Answer: we don’t.

Bill G has been forecasting a small pox pandemic for awhile now, as the next Big One. He has an uncanny history of somehow knowing about these things.

Giving a live virus vaccine to an immunocompromised population for an illness that is exceedingly uncommonly actually harmful… well, it seems a bit suspicious at best.

Stock up now on your North American pitcher plant, which native Americans apparently used to treat small pox.

Today’s best news is that Meijer is coming home and Gibbs is headed to the general election. If Meijer is looking for a job, I’m sure there are cashier and bagger jobs available at the local Meijer grocery store! 😂😂😂😂

Hey Jeff,

Thanks for your always excellent reporting. I'm an RN, not sure if others commented about this yet.

Loose cough is definitely used, commonly where I work in Ohio at least. Basically just means that the sputum/mucus is loose and not thick, or scant/dry.

So to me this reads as he has a "wet" or "loose" cough meaning mucus production.

Have treated COVID since day one. I'd tell you that likely means he has or is developing bacterial pneumonia secondary to primary viral infection. This is when we see issues. Not from COVID, but from secondary pneumonia the severe respiratory issues begin. Haven't seen a single severe case for 6-8 months on my unit (mind you we were the designated "covid unit.")

The last 3 weeks I have definitely seen a resurgence of mild to moderate cases needing hospitalization, nearly every single one of them vaccinated, nearly everyone recently boosted.

Just using a little clinical intuition here, but the way I read it is that the immune system is not mounting a proper neutralizing response because the current circulating variant is just so vastly different than what we are inoculating for. Couple that with a medication like paxilvid that seems to mostly suppress viral replication rather than actually neutralize it, you have a recipe for disaster. Seeing a lot of cases of people who are vaccinated having had covid now for the third or fourth time, and this time around it's just not going away. 15, 20, 30 day infections, this is very abnormal. Their immune systems are just not clearing it.

Yes, this is anecdotal. But as I've been telling people for 2 years, is in all evidence anecdotal until we quantify it?

Now that it’s over, can somebody explain what EXACTLY we accomplished that justifies the expense and the risk? Hello? Anyone?

China got to move massive amounts of military hardware to Taiwan's doorstep.

That is an accomplishment for them.

I wonder if Biden's alleged virus quarantine is really about keeping him from making any more gaffes.

Loose cough would be interpreted as a productive cough. Wet enough to bring mucous up through the throat.

Funny how things changed since our last President simply had a phone call with Taiwan and the media/ Dems had a fit: https://www.nbcnews.com/news/world/donald-trump-s-call-taiwan-president-was-not-surprised-official-n691466--

"Donald Trump's Call With Taiwan President Was No Surprise:

The unprecedented conversation between Trump and President Tsai Ing-wen could enrage China and strain ties between the two powers."

Sadly, Michigan isn't done with RINOs as Tudor Dixon, a RINO, somehow miraculously won. She was a virtual unknown, hardly any signs around town, did terrible in the debates, but hey, she got the Trump nod (major error by Trump) and lots, and lots, of money from Devos. Dixon is no better than Whitmer. We had other candidates that had fought for our rights, fought against Whitmer's tyranical lockdowns, got the 1945 law repealed to stop Whitmer's tyranical ways, and had a following of tens of thousands of people to Dixons 11K. Sad day for Michigan.

The best way I can describe a “loose cough” is that the person is coughing up mucus or phlegm or blood compared to a “dry cough” where the cough doesn’t. The proper terminology would probably be a productive cough vs a non productive cough. Productive coughs develops from a cold, sinus or respiratory infection or flu. Probably more info than you asked for!

Just FYI, all my life I've heard of a "loose" cough, from when I was a kid (I'm 61 now). "Loose" and "productive", those are the terms I grew up with to describe the disgusting kind of cough.

I literally never heard of a "wet" cough until about three minutes ago.

Grew up in upstate New York to parents born and raised in the Bronx, if those demographics mean anything in this loogie-hocking discussion.
