Re Zawahiri: According to the expert analysis of a former Military intel officer: The C-I-A is suddenly able to perform such an op?!.... They couldn't even verify or track the Hunter Laptop!... [AKA-THEATER]
This pesky history-laden internet can be such a pain. Those stealth fact-checkers must have been victims of the slow-hiring cause they missed the 2020 story about Zawahiri's first death. Here I thought they had updated everything.
"Calling a 100K layoff a “hiring slowdown” is like saying a rocket that exploded in midair “experienced an acceleration reduction.” My eyeballs rolled so hard it peeled part of my scalp off." 😂🤣😂
I am not a health care provider, but I would guess a "loose cough" is when you cough up garbage, B.S. and horse sh*t. He has had this cough for decades. Now it is simply being diagnosed and disclosed by his doctor.
OK, I seriously choked on my chicken salad sandwich when I read this one! Good one Scott Kiley. Gotta quit reading C&C while eating, including comments.
At first I was searching for some more good “God’s going to get them” passages, but felt led to refocus our (my) thoughts:
Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice! Let your gentle spirit be known to all men. The Lord is near. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, dwell on these things.
My go to verse for peace and comfort. That peace that is received from God is unexplainable. Not put there by me. It’s so spiritual and an inner peace so deep I can get through anything. This has kept me centered and strong this past year. Thanks Janice. I screenshot your verses.
I think God is letting “us” experience the fruits of evil peoples’ deeds.
We have to be the faithful remnant and make our neighborhoods, cities, counties, states and country better places. Jeremiah says what I feel when I see the deeds done in darkness coming to light. I’m looking and working toward part two (v18-22)
Jeremiah 30: 12-15, 18-22
For thus says the Lord:/ Incurable is your wound,/ grievous your bruise;/ There is none to plead your cause,/ no remedy for your running sore,/ no healing for you./ All your lovers have forgotten you,/ they do not seek you./ I struck you as an enemy would strike,/ punished you cruelly;/ Why cry out over your wound?/ your pain is without relief./ Because of your great guilt,/ your numerous sins,/ I have done this to you.
[BUT]
Thus says the Lord: / See! I will restore the tents of Jacob,/ his dwellings I will pity;/ City shall be rebuilt upon hill,/ and palace restored as it was./ From them will resound songs of praise,/ the laughter of happy men./ I will make them not few, but many;/ they will not be tiny, for I will glorify them./ His sons shall be as of old,/ his assembly before me shall stand firm;/ I will punish all his oppressors./ His leader shall be one of his own,/ and his rulers shall come from his kin./ When I summon him, he shall approach me;/ how else should one take the deadly risk/ of approaching me? says the Lord./ You shall be my people,/ and I will be your God.
I feel that way too sometimes, even though I know it might be just that I can’t see the whole picture like He can and it is all for the best. But I admit the last couple of years has made me wonder what I am doing wrong 😞
I think that too. God had to really thump us in the head to wake all of us up. I've been ready for this since 2009 but had become complacent. Not anymore.
While I believe that, I have had some extremely difficult personal losses in the past two years and feel like I have been hit harder than many 😞 My son always says that he’d like to go back to 2019 or 2018 because things were so much better then 😕
My daughter and I (and the dog) are on a road trip. We are headed AWAY from Biden Falls and headed toward Pensacola, Florida. Our soon to be new home state. I read your blog while my daughter is driving. Oh my gosh! We laughed our way through your hilarious perspective of the twilight zone in which we live. When I want to blow a gasket over the death of children for no reason or the tax dollars wasted because of an imaginary health crisis (I could do a lot with 45,000 per monkeypox case), you help me remember to take care of what I can take care of and find humor in what I cannot.
Mother-daughter-poochie bonding roadtrip-- I love it!?! Hope the relocation goes smoothly, and wish you guys a wonderful uplifting new beginning in the sunshine state!
Thanks!!! I loved that the spot was on Google maps for a brief moment in time!! Someone even marked it with paint!!! Not all Delawareans love the Biden Crime Family. 😂
And yes, I totally believe that, just like not all New Yorkers (I’m originally from rural NY state) love the Cuomo crime family or the other degenerate totalitarians who have been running that state!
Welcome to Florida! I'm in Panama City so we will be neighbors. Kinda. You will love our freedoms here and the weather, again, kinda. You will find that people down here are some of the nicest and most polite people around, that is until we get in our cars. There's to many sight see'ers and to many got places to go drivers here, and no one has figured out how to drive in the rain. Lol. I've lived here 35+ years and it's always been this way. It is what it is. Welcome home 😊
Susan, all the best to you and your daughter on your journey!! Our family read aloud in the same way. I wonder how many roads and flights across our great country were eased with the words of Jeff Childers ✨
I’d guess a lot!! God raised Jeff and his brilliant commentary up “for such a time as this”. We have read aloud and have friends who read aloud his encouraging truth every day!! And we pray for him and his family often!!
We are in Idaho right now at our part time home. Wildfires are the bane of the West. I asked hubs...hurricanes or wildfires? He said hurricanes are better. Predictable. We had a wildfire 2 miles from our home last week. So nerve wracking. We hightail it to Florida every winter and love our life there. But it is just the opposite from Idaho. Here, we are self sufficient. No water? Check the well and pump. Need food? Head to the basement. Power off for a day? Start the generator. Trash stinky? Go to the dump! Florida living is dependent upon water systems and peace of mind is dependent upon well behaved neighborhoods and communities around you. But, there is a grocery store we can walk to in 5 minutes. In Idaho we have to drive 30 miles to a grocery store. It is hard to be dependent upon others when we have been self sustaining for so long. Bah!!
Many of us in Florida live just the way you describe living in Idaho, except that we don't have basements. The way to find us is to head away from the beaches.
We have a home that is in a village with snowbird Michigan family. If we lived there full time, things would definitely be different. I do not want to be in FL when the shit hits the fan, as there is no security..like Idaho. But...I hear Anna Maria calling my name. Such a great life down there. Hubs works in Alaska on the Bering.
And....did you see the new Florida license plate? Proceeds go to Veterans causes and has the Gadsden flag on it. And...the Gadsden flag and the Betsy Ross flag have just been declared terrorist symbols by the FBI. Ha!
Sounds like you need to find the other Florida, the real one. Speaking of hurricanes, it’s been really quiet for a long time. Because of Climate Change, I’m sure🤷🏻♀️
Yes, we have thought of packing up and selling Idaho all together and buying a great place in Florida. We could make bank, but it would mean leaving 20 years of roots and our kids and grandkids. Half time on a small scale is what God has for us now. I am leaving it up to Him.
Lucky you. Dog, daughter and moving to Florida. I live in MN and dream of getting out of here. I have lived here all my life and I love my state but it may as well be CA.
I’m not worried about moneypox. However, we need to pay attention to this rush to give immunocompromised folks (injected, and/or HIV positive, and/or generally the homosexual lifestyle) a live virus vaccine.
It historically is not a practice that has been done.
How do we know that these folks’ immune systems are not going to allow these live viruses (smallpox, by the way) in the latest jabs to begin propagating, with possible resultant community spread? Answer: we don’t.
Bill G has been forecasting a small pox pandemic for awhile now, as the next Big One. He has an uncanny history of somehow knowing about these things.
Giving a live virus vaccine to an immunocompromised population for an illness that is exceedingly uncommonly actually harmful… well, it seems a bit suspicious at best.
Stock up now on your North American pitcher plant, which native Americans apparently used to treat small pox.
There is a larger supply of ACAM2000, but this vaccine should not be used in people who have certain health conditions, such as a weakened immune system, skin conditions like eczema or other exfoliative skin conditions, or pregnancy.
Those of us of a certain age have already been inoculated for smallpox. I even had a booster for travel to Caracas in 1978. I do recall reading a month or two ago when it was suggested that the Monkees were coming back big time that there are safety issues with the preferred cure.
HEALTH ALERT: Top Ten Ways to Protect Yourself From Monkeypox
- Don't spank other men's monkeys, abstain from grooming kids, know your risk, wear protection, get tested & vaccinated, always trust experts & media, and other ways to protect yourself from Monkeypox!
What I read is when one is immunocompromised and is given the live virus vaccine they may actually shed the virus or get the disease against which they are vaccinated since they can't mount a robust immune response. The live attenuated virus can revert to the pathogenic form, for example, the oral polio vaccine. Not sure about moneypox. " There is little evidence that viral or bacterial vaccines can lead to the level of shedding that would cause a vaccinated person to transmit the infection to others." As we've learned "little evidence" usually means evidence that you are not looking for so I guess we will soon find out. I think it's possible this weakened form could be then spreading asymptomatically in some at-risk communities and if they employ widespread testing, viola! It's all about what you are looking for or not looking for. If you want to find it you will find it, if you don't you won't. I hope I'm wrong but I see how some states are jumping on this bandwagon creating momentum.
Seems to mean “we haven’t looked,” or “there haven’t been enough cases to determine.”
And, we haven’t given a live viral vax broadly to a known entire population of immunocompromised folks who are living in a community of also somehow potentially immunocompromised (injected w C v🪓) people.
Sooo, we really do not know what we are doing.
Your mention of the oral polio v🪓 is a perfect demonstration of the risks. And that was used in a generally immune competent population.
Today’s best news is that Meijer is coming home and Gibbs is headed to the general election. If Meijer is looking for a job, I’m sure there are cashier and bagger jobs available at the local Meijer grocery store! 😂😂😂😂
Again with Gibbs, it's like a broken record with the media. Every time a MAGA candidate wins a primary, the media pundits say the same thing, "it was destined to be a GOP tidal wave in November, but that will likely be tempered by poor candidates" or some such nonsense.
I have not seen any hard data that backs this up, it's wish-casting on the media's part. They like the old school loveable loser and/or corrupt Republican that cave when the chips are down. Now that conservatives are finally nominating people with backbone (Gibbs, JD Vance, Blake Masters, etc.) supposedly the GOP is blowing it.
These people are so predictable. Why do we listen to a word they say?
I think they’re in an echo chamber with each other and they really believe the nonsense they’re spouting. Remember, we’re the idiots (according to them)especially if we didn’t go to college. They really believe we’re not smart enough if we didn’t go an additional 4,6, 8 years of schooling. I’ve encountered liberals who truly believe the “flyover” states are a vast wasteland of nothing...no amenities, decent hospitals, schools, etc. if it doesn’t happen on the coasts or Chicago it’s not important.
I have Nvidia running on about five of my computers using Linux operating systems. Recently, I've been looking at bench marks, doing comparisons. And being a light data user (mostly video, emails, OfficeLibre, etc.), I could easily settle on a cheaper i5 Intel or cheaper AMD chip with integrated graphics and save a lot of money, and see no downside in performance. And this would probably do for most users. (just saying in case anyone is shopping around)
I'm still very concerned about the Governers race. Dixon is not my pick, but she will be running against the czar now. I'm FLOORED by those who voted for either of them in the primaries. Also floored by the lack of voting in them as well. I fear for our beautiful state of Michigan.
Thanks for your always excellent reporting. I'm an RN, not sure if others commented about this yet.
Loose cough is definitely used, commonly where I work in Ohio at least. Basically just means that the sputum/mucus is loose and not thick, or scant/dry.
So to me this reads as he has a "wet" or "loose" cough meaning mucus production.
Have treated COVID since day one. I'd tell you that likely means he has or is developing bacterial pneumonia secondary to primary viral infection. This is when we see issues. Not from COVID, but from secondary pneumonia the severe respiratory issues begin. Haven't seen a single severe case for 6-8 months on my unit (mind you we were the designated "covid unit.")
The last 3 weeks I have definitely seen a resurgence of mild to moderate cases needing hospitalization, nearly every single one of them vaccinated, nearly everyone recently boosted.
Just using a little clinical intuition here, but the way I read it is that the immune system is not mounting a proper neutralizing response because the current circulating variant is just so vastly different than what we are inoculating for. Couple that with a medication like paxilvid that seems to mostly suppress viral replication rather than actually neutralize it, you have a recipe for disaster. Seeing a lot of cases of people who are vaccinated having had covid now for the third or fourth time, and this time around it's just not going away. 15, 20, 30 day infections, this is very abnormal. Their immune systems are just not clearing it.
Yes, this is anecdotal. But as I've been telling people for 2 years, is in all evidence anecdotal until we quantify it?
Why aren't we hearing more about SADS? A friend of mine said two nurses he knows died in their sleep, during a "nap".
And an autistic man(nonverbal) just had his leg amputated in Portland, OR - now they plan on removing the other one (or already have, if he is still alive) and he has clots throughout his body. Can you imagine explaining this nightmare to him? Where was his informed consent?
Grew up in upstate New York, I'm 61 now, my entire life I've heard of "loose" (and "productive") coughs to describe the, well, the disgusting type of cough.
Until today's C&C column, I had literally never heard that kind of cough described as "wet".
Nurse, this all makes sense. Also elderly people do tend to have weaker immune systems regardless - they can have trouble clearing viral/bacterial infections. Not that the shots are great but this could just be due to advanced age? or the Paxlovid, God only knows what that stuff is doing.
Sure, normal aging does weaken immune response. The trouble is, this is not only observed in the elderly. I currently have 3 coworkers out, 24, 29, 33. The 29 year old has now had it twice in last 120 days. Has been sick for about 15 days and counting. No underlying health conditions in any of them.
I elected to not be vaccinated. Had avoided COVID for 2 years until about two months ago. Little sniffle and congestion, better in 48 hours.
He sold his at a loss after the media pummeled him...but then Nancy bought it herself...100m of the stock. (I read on one of the links in the comments Mon.) Surely she traveled to Taiwan to pick up her cash pallet. Ukriane and now Taiwan...
Yes. As opposed to a “tight”’cough that might suggest spasm of the airways this preventing bringing up the mucous. Or, as you said, in contrast to a non-productive, aka “dry” cough.
Yeah that's my impression too. What's interesting is that the latest Covid variations result in a dry cough. (From personal experience, it's definitely not a "loose" or mucus productive cough.) I wonder which Covid variation Biden caught...
Sadly, Michigan isn't done with RINOs as Tudor Dixon, a RINO, somehow miraculously won. She was a virtual unknown, hardly any signs around town, did terrible in the debates, but hey, she got the Trump nod (major error by Trump) and lots, and lots, of money from Devos. Dixon is no better than Whitmer. We had other candidates that had fought for our rights, fought against Whitmer's tyranical lockdowns, got the 1945 law repealed to stop Whitmer's tyranical ways, and had a following of tens of thousands of people to Dixons 11K. Sad day for Michigan.
I don’t know what Trump is thinking. Or what people are thinking letting a politician influence the way they vote or live their lives. If Trump told me to get the vaccine, still No!
On the other hand - I love that DeSantis endorsed a handful of school board members. Those are the hardest elections to decipher b/c it’s non-partisan & there’s no open debate among any of them.
I’m so tired of people voting for someone because they got endorsed by Trump. THINK PEOPLE!! Think for yourselves. You can use it as a guide, but do your own research for crying out loud. Have we learned nothing!!
I did NOT vote for Oz here in Pa - so frustrated that he’s the R nominee. I still think there were shenanigans in the primary, AND he has been awol ever since.
I would have never in a million years voted for that phony. You are correct; It’s shameful he is nominee. And I believe whole heartedly they cheated yet again. Not surprised he’s awol. Not surprised one bit. Takes his cue from the master puppet 😉
I am of the opinion that a Trump endorsement can be an albatross around your neck. People care about what you say you're going to do and what plan you outline. The country was better with him, for sure. And he has really brought the sewer to light. But, he's not, as Kim says, God. Gotta do your research.
But people don’t do research and it is often hard to find good research in this day of google. Trump still has an enormous following though the media will never say this.
He does have an enormous following. For good reason. And I’m a Trump supporter even though I may not sound like it at times. What I’m not afraid to do is call him out where he makes mistakes. Some of his picks to endorse have been horrid. Obviously his vax push has been even more horrid. What I won’t do is sit by and pretend like it’s impossible for him to be wrong. He’s not God. He’s human and makes mistakes even though he’ll never admit that. If he endorses someone…that’s the perfect time to start researching them and then make up your own mind. What I also won’t do is blindly accept someone or something just because he says so. What he did was wake us up. Now we are responsible for what we do with that. He is not exempt from being called out. None of them are.
I agree. I don’t think he should ever endorse candidates in a primary. He likely knows nothing about Tudor Dixon. It’s what those strategists around him are telling him. This is a world stakes chess game and we are being checkmated right and left.
I agree it's tough. We found a conservative group and we volunteer with them. They help us research and better understand who's who in the zoo and what initiatives are coming up that are possible free enterprise killers. Through a pretty targeted effort, we've helped to oust Rusty Bowers in AZ due to his voting record. For incumbents, that's an easy one to research. For newbies...it's a crapshoot. And of course, it's all about the show. At the end of the day, we educate as many friends and family as we can and we have to be satisfied with that.
Do't Google! Don't even use Duck, Duck Go! I'm using Brave, and it isn't great... sometimes I go two or three pages in without finding what I want. Go to Telegram, and start following other sources...
Right! People don't know how to think for themselves. Others have said Democrats were instructed to vote for Dixon in the primary because they know she will lose to Whitmer. We know Democrats love to cheat.
Absolutely! I saw this yesterday in MO. With an open primary, democrats voted on the republican ticket to get RINOs in and unfortunately, succeeded. Sad day for MO and our nation.
Those types of changes in how primary elections are conducted are critically important to election integrity, but as usual those who don't follow politics (very dangerous in a republic) are fooled by Democrats who cry 'fairness!' which always means 'fraud.'
Tudor Dixon was the weak link in the chain of Republican candidates, well known by most who watched the debates, except few people watch the debates. Only one news network, (ABC), televised one, the 4th one. When Right to Life endorsed her in July her stock rose. Make no mistake, the RNC, at the top has a machine also. They can say she had the most electability because she is a woman, has tv camera polish, and appears to be the apple pie, Mom and family. We know she was not even being considered until the last month, but that was the plan. People don’t remember things. Primaries are low activity, so you wait until the end, buy big endorsements, send out mailers, do tv ads. Not sure why Trump endorsed her other than she was going to be the big buck GOP’s candidate, and he wanted a clear winner in this state. Michigan is straight ticket primary voting. We were redistricted this year by a wacky bi partisan committee that everyone said didn’t know what they were doing but they did and it was to bolster Liberals by splitting up large red districts and adding blue cities into them. I went into my rural voting booth and found that I was in a completely different state senate district that had two Republicans running for office I had not seen one thing for. Because we are term limited in this state there were many open state Senate and House races, but while there were always more than one Republican vying for that spot, invariably, only one Democrat would be running. Planned. Then Democrats could go in and vote Republican and pick the weakest links to go against their one Democrat candidate. It’s an old trick and we knew it was coming. Add to that the Left fostered animosity among the candidate supporters of different people. Many people just feel that they were cheated on their vote and won’t vote again. And that is what they want. My only thought to Trump endorsing Dixon was he knew which way the wind was blowing and wanted it to look like his endorsement meant something. It’s hard to keep reawakening to the nightmare that has been put in place by the evil across this country, and realizing it’s been planned for years.
Idaho GOP just changed rules. Gotta be a party member for 25 months before you can run as GOP. There may have been something else but this alone was big.
I am neither registered Republican or Democrat. Many people aren’t. Those people can be bought off to vote opposite party ticket against their natural leanings
"Planned. Then Democrats could go in and vote Republican and pick the weakest links to go against their one Democrat candidate. It’s an old trick and we knew it was coming."
"My only thought to Trump endorsing Dixon was he knew which way the wind was blowing and wanted it to look like his endorsement meant something."
Thanks, Laurie. Once again, you have provided a precise explanation of Michigan's dysfunctional political climate. Michigan is well on its way to becoming yet another Illinois.
Yes, GOP wanted RINO Craig but he didn't make it to the ballot. Soldano had my vote. I am surprised at Dixon's margin of victory. Kari Lake in AZ won by a slim margin also with Trump backing but she was popular too. Dixon was not. The Dems will chew up Dixon but maybe with the help of Devos $$$ Dixon will give her a fight. I'm not sure our votes matter any more.
The Trump endorsement is inexplicable but I'll admit that I am not a fan of DJT despite voting for him. How does a total unknown like Dixon with no political experience and very little ties to Michigan wind-up with the nomination?
As you said, there were much better candidates with an established track record for fighting for the rights of Michigan citizens. If the Michigan GOP excels at anything it's their ability to self-sabotage.
Despite the disaster that is Gretchen Whitmer she is assured of re-election. It's almost as if Michigan republicans want to lose.
Before Michigan went to straight party voting, you could jump back and forth, so Dems would vote for a weak Republican candidate going against an incumbent Dem, and turn around and vote for Dems in lesser elections where the race would be tight. The straight ticket voting was supposed to eliminate that, but Dems just wised up and made sure only one Dem would run in lesser state elections, so the Dem voters could easily vote GOP, this one time.
Michigan is no different than the DC swamp. Republicans are just as bad as the Dems in this state. I watched then Senate majority leader, Mike Shirkey rail against Whitmer, come to Stand Up Michigan events, pray with us, urge us to sign petitions and he turned on every one of us. He and Whitmer were two sides of the same coin. We have no idea the amounts of under the table monies going to influence all of this. Shirkey knew if he went along Michigan would receive big covid monies when Brandon was installed. I would wager Florida, Missouri, Arizona and many more have the same problems. It’s where we are.
She is not necessarily a RINO, but she is a packaged candidate put in place by the GOP establishment in this state. She is a mom to four kids, her husband is never mentioned or seen, was a tv newscaster during covid, came to Michigan several years ago to help operate her dad’s steel plant by Muskegon. She left, unexplained about 3 years ago. A year later the steel plant declared bankruptcy. Whitmer, I am afraid will make this a one referendum campaign and that will be abortion. The news media here is in her pocket, and debates will be televised. IMO, Tudor doesn’t stand a chance.
"Whitmer, I am afraid will make this a one referendum campaign and that will be abortion. "
Which demonstrates how truly stupid most people are. Whitmer spent two years destroying small businesses, people's lives, and engaging in irrational Covid policies that she herself flaunted on numerous documented occasions. Yet, the galvanizing issue for many Michigan voters will be protecting Michigan's abortion industry.
There are two amendment initiatives that through magic will be on the November ballot. One is a new abortion amendment which would allow abortions up to the time of birth. A “health care individual” can recommend an abortion for your 12 year old daughter without parental consent or knowledge, and medical records would be sealed. The language is intentionally vague and open to evil interpretation. It would be an abomination if passed. The other is a”fair” voting rights act. Does away with voter ID, allows for mail in voting all the time, and no signature verification and so on. We would truly be a banana republic with this law passed. Both initiatives if passed would become amendment law and could not be overturned. This is why abortion will become important. I feel that RoevWade was overturned just for this very reason. So that anti abortion laws in many states would be challenged and liberal laws would be enacted. Evil.
The voter initiative method of amending a state constitution has been used for such awful purposes, including in Florida. It's a method that needs reining in. The constitutions should only address the structure and function of government. Sadly, that might include the voting part, which only points out the use of 'fairness' claims by Democrats as cover for fraud.\
If that's all true (and I don't doubt you) then who could have won? Dixon is the nominee now so it's between her and Whitmer. Not a hard choice IMO, what's the point of trashing her now?
Several conservatives whose opinion I trust (Ned Ryun, John Cardillo, Harmeet Dillon as examples) all strongly backed Dixon. These people aren't fools and I doubt they'd support a Mitt Romney-type squish. Plus Dixon went from being virtually unknown to convincingly winning a competitive primary. Clearly she has some talent.
William F. Buckley used to say that we should support the most conservative candidate *that can win*. He understood that the GOP shouldn't necessarily have the same cookie-cutter candidate in Oklahoma as compared to Massachusetts. Those were some wise words.
I really don't get the after-the-fact Dixon bashing. If there was a strong, well-known, proven conservative candidate, that could win statewide, then I get it. But there wasn't so absent that, what is the point?
I doubt any of those conservatives know anything about Dixon but her polished ads. The bio’s that are fed to them. What the RNC wants them to know. Somehow, Mitt Romney got elected in Utah when many suspected he might start trashing Trump again.
I never said Dixon was a RINO, right now she is saying all the right things. I watched 5 debates among the candidates only one televised state wide. The candidates were all asked the same things, pretty much social issues, and all of them answered the same down the line. However when it comes to how we deal with loss of corporations and manufacturing, loss of citizens leaving this state, right and left, and a budget that keeps ballooning out of control because we have covid money, she seemed loss. Her line was always, “I ran a steel plant, and I’ve talked to business people all over the state and got their input. No hard answers. She was born in PA. Her parents divorced and 7 years ago she moved to Michigan to help run her dad’s steel plant near Muskegon. She left after 3 years, no real explanation as to why. But a year later, the dad declared bankruptcy and the plant closed. She had a morning show on Real Voice America and did some teaching. She is married with 4 daughters. Her husband is never mentioned and never seen. There are rumors they are going through a divorce but I don’t know the truth of that. Much of her background has never been mentioned and since the media pretty much ignored the candidates until now, we really know little. But every skeleton will be exposed now. She was the weakest of the five candidates and while I will support her as we need Whitmer gone, I fear the Democratic machine will make mincemeat of her.
I was not aware of Harmeet Dhillon supporting Dixon. I have tremendous respect for her so I would be interested in understanding the motivation. As for the Michigan GOP, that's the essence of the problem. They did not offer up the "most conservative candidate "that can win*".
The best way I can describe a “loose cough” is that the person is coughing up mucus or phlegm or blood compared to a “dry cough” where the cough doesn’t. The proper terminology would probably be a productive cough vs a non productive cough. Productive coughs develops from a cold, sinus or respiratory infection or flu. Probably more info than you asked for!
Just FYI, all my life I've heard of a "loose" cough, from when I was a kid (I'm 61 now). "Loose" and "productive", those are the terms I grew up with to describe the disgusting kind of cough.
I literally never heard of a "wet" cough until about three minutes ago.
Grew up in upstate New York to parents born and raised in the Bronx, if those demographics mean anything in this loogie-hocking discussion.
Zawahiri didn't die twice, it was an extremely rare breakthrough, rebound death. Totally different.
It could have been worse if he wasn't vaccinated. Lol 🤣😂
OMG just spit my coffee out reading that one,,,
never try to drink your coffee while reading this blog, even though it is called Coffee and Covid !
Or avert your eyes while drinking at least 😆😂
ROLLING!
Damn! You could get a job as spokesperson for the CDC with that kind of creative wordsmithing!
Better yet, the White House infester!
And “less than gruntled!”
Don't forget Pelosi's "broomstick, I mean plane

Winston is falling down on the job.
(Winston is the main character in 1984, right? Been awhile.)
“Who controls the past,” ran the Party slogan, “controls the future: who controls the present controls the past.” Poor Winston.
He is probably on Epsteins island with old Bin and others since a burial at sea would have been the only respectable thing to do.

"Calling a 100K layoff a “hiring slowdown” is like saying a rocket that exploded in midair “experienced an acceleration reduction.” My eyeballs rolled so hard it peeled part of my scalp off." 😂🤣😂
I was expecting "RUD" (Rapid Unscheduled Disassembly) frequently used by the space community.
🤣🤣🤣
Engineers.
Not all. But some. Never say in one word what you can say with more. 🤣
Having worked for their sort before, I’m thinking lawyers… ahem…
Yes, I laughed at that too.
Jeff had such a way with words.
🤣🤣🤣
Me too. The imagery was terrific but scary : )
Yes!! Same 😂😁 And also this part
“Haha, “shrinks staff,” these people kill me. You’re not fired. Just shrunk!”
Yes. And your paycheck shrunk so much you can’t even see it.
I agree. That one made me laugh out loud. Of course Jeff can usually make bad news so funny. Like Mary Poppins and her spoonful of sugar.
Priceless.
I laughed out loud at this and shared it with my co worker and laughed even harder trying to read it :)
I am not a health care provider, but I would guess a "loose cough" is when you cough up garbage, B.S. and horse sh*t. He has had this cough for decades. Now it is simply being diagnosed and disclosed by his doctor.
Pfizer could package that whole horse poop cough is a good thing, “that means it’s working”, and sell it by the truckload.
OK, I seriously choked on my chicken salad sandwich when I read this one! Good one Scott Kiley. Gotta quit reading C&C while eating, including comments.
😂😂😂
— Philippians 4:4-8 NASB1995
(And now to read Jeff’s letter…)
My go to verse for peace and comfort. That peace that is received from God is unexplainable. Not put there by me. It’s so spiritual and an inner peace so deep I can get through anything. This has kept me centered and strong this past year. Thanks Janice. I screenshot your verses.
Yes. But God's ears are sometimes closed it seems.
It can feel that way, but there’s this:
“The eyes of the Lord are toward the righteous
And His ears are open to their cry.
The face of the Lord is against evildoers,
To cut off the memory of them from the earth.
The righteous cry, and the Lord hears
And delivers them out of all their troubles.”
— Psalm 34:15-17
Trust in the Lord and do good;
Dwell in the land and cultivate faithfulness.
--Psalm 37:3 NASB1995
I feel that way too sometimes, even though I know it might be just that I can’t see the whole picture like He can and it is all for the best. But I admit the last couple of years has made me wonder what I am doing wrong 😞
I think that God allowed us see what is happening. 2019 now seems like a beloved fairytale.
I think that too. God had to really thump us in the head to wake all of us up. I've been ready for this since 2009 but had become complacent. Not anymore.
While I believe that, I have had some extremely difficult personal losses in the past two years and feel like I have been hit harder than many 😞 My son always says that he’d like to go back to 2019 or 2018 because things were so much better then 😕
I agree. So many wonderful people suffered. We lost trust, relationships, innocence and most of all, people.
Thank you We have lived in Delaware for WAY TOO LONG. We are very excited and grateful for this uplifting new opportunity!!
My sister just moved from there to NC! Not as great of a change as to FL but still better.
I laughed at your calling it Biden Falls! 😆😂 The person who put that on the map was a comedy genius lol 😂
Best wishes to you in your new life in Florida!
Thanks!!! I loved that the spot was on Google maps for a brief moment in time!! Someone even marked it with paint!!! Not all Delawareans love the Biden Crime Family. 😂
That is awesome!! 😁😂
And yes, I totally believe that, just like not all New Yorkers (I’m originally from rural NY state) love the Cuomo crime family or the other degenerate totalitarians who have been running that state!
Degenerate totalitarians!!! 😂 So true!!!
Facebook has been inundated with pictures of people lying in the street…imitating Brandon/Biden Falls…
Yup!!! It’s been very funny.
I hadn’t seen that!! Absolutely hilarious!!! 🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂
Pretty close!!! We have crazy drivers in Delaware also. People in Delaware like to text and drive. I saw someone drive by reading a book!!! 🤪
The craziest I've seen so far was a guy driving on I-75 while playing a guitar.
Jeezum! A book! At least he/she wasn't texting and driving LOL
Exactly. I'm have a well, a large pantry, a generator, and go to the dump because there's no trash pick-up where I live. I'm outside Gainesville.
Ha!
What security are you speaking of? Many Floridians are well armed.
My security. Peace of mind. Living in a VERY rural area. It is hard to go from rural to city living. For me, personally.
Exactly how we are going to live on our 15 acres.
I'm making the trip next month with my 3 dogs to make Florida my new home state, I can't wait for the move!
Congratulations!!! Enjoy your new life in the sunshine state!!
Beautiful!
Keep in mind, August is Florida at its worst! ‘Dog days’ the old timers called it. Now retired, I’m happily hibernating.
For now CDC website says:
There is a larger supply of ACAM2000, but this vaccine should not be used in people who have certain health conditions, such as a weakened immune system, skin conditions like eczema or other exfoliative skin conditions, or pregnancy.
Hmm. Weakened immune systems from another new injectable? I see where this could be headed.
Well, men can have babies now, so they should heed this warning on many levels 😂
Those of us of a certain age have already been inoculated for smallpox. I even had a booster for travel to Caracas in 1978. I do recall reading a month or two ago when it was suggested that the Monkees were coming back big time that there are safety issues with the preferred cure.
DID SOMEBODY SAY THE MONKEES ARE COMING BACK? ;)
Here we come, walkin'
Down the street
We get the funniest looks from
Ev'ry one we meet
Hey, hey, we're the Monkeypox
And people say we monkey around
But we're too busy singing
To put anybody down.....
....I thought Monkeypox was only true in fairy tales
Meant for someone else, but not for me
Monkeypox was out to get me
That's the way it seemed
Disappointment haunted all my dreams
Then I saw her face, now I'm a believer
Not a trace of doubt in my mind
I'm a believer, I couldn't leave her if I tried.....
Gives monkeying around a whole other meaning 😬
Scar to prove it
MAYBE YOU SHOULD BE - STAY SAFE! ;)
HEALTH ALERT: Top Ten Ways to Protect Yourself From Monkeypox
- Don't spank other men's monkeys, abstain from grooming kids, know your risk, wear protection, get tested & vaccinated, always trust experts & media, and other ways to protect yourself from Monkeypox!
https://covidsteria.substack.com/p/top-ten-ways-to-protect-yourself-from-monkeypox
Thats the Sarracenia Purpurea. Is that correct? I looked it up.
It's not normally recommended to vaccinate immunocompromised with live vaccines.
Exactly.
Except, now, they are recommending exactly that.
To put it bluntly and horribly: they are recommending euthanasia.
Yeah, “little evidence.”
Great job Michigan!!! So great to see.
Next on the list….Whitmer to the dumpster ✅
Yes! Yay, Michigan! 👏👏
👊👊💥💥💞
As for Whitless, she’s got a lot of $$$ so we all need to pitch in!
She’s got the DS cheating for her too. Uphill battle but she needs to go
Both Gibbs and Dixon were endorsed by Trump. Both won!!
John Gibbs is a good man. Decent, honorable, intelligent and a Christian conservative.
Love this!!! Hope he figures out why he wasn’t re-elected!!
I bet Navidia is hiring.
I hopeful she’s still better that whitless. I don’t know much about her
I'm not gonna hold my breath.... but my goodness is my heart hopeful
Hey Jeff,
Thanks for your always excellent reporting.
Same here. .
Grew up in Texas.
Little sniffle and congestion, better in 48 hours.
wow
Now that it’s over, can somebody explain what EXACTLY we accomplished that justifies the expense and the risk? Hello? Anyone?
----
China got to move massive amounts of military hardware to Taiwan's doorstep.
That is an accomplishment for them.
Or while we were watching Pelosis’ plane, something else was happening in DC to further their plan.
And it's hard to payout blackmail money via wire--wonder what Taiwan has on the old girl? 😜
And hubby's investment is safe.
He sold his at a loss after the media pummeled him...but then Nancy bought it herself...100m of the stock. (I read on one of the links in the comments Mon.) Surely she traveled to Taiwan to pick up her cash pallet. Ukriane and now Taiwan...
According to the NY Post article below, the Pelosi's may still have millions in chip holdings:
https://nypost.com/2022/07/27/pelosis-sold-5m-in-nvidia-stock-ahead-of-chipmaker-subsidy-vote/
But he’s in court today for driving drunk!!!
Maybe that’s the reason for the trip! Look here...not there.
Bingo! Prize winner here. Since the Manchurian Residents were installed here in 2020, everything's coming up roses for the CCP. Who's your daddy?
I wonder if Biden's alleged virus quarantine is really about keeping him from making any more gaffes.
A hidden president is an even more dangerous president.
It worked when he was a candidate, he just crawled into a hole and didn’t campaign.
Rinse, repeat.
Won’t work this time unless they pull a pandemic out of their holes. Oh. They already did the first time.
Or a war this time. There I fixed it myself.
My thoughts exactly!
Loose cough would be interpreted as a productive cough. Wet enough to bring mucous up through the throat.
Loose cough implies a wet cough.
Yep. In my Miranda Castro homeopathy book, there’s a similar description.
Nope...I like the other comment. Loose cough = the BS coming up. That worthless fu@k3r!
Yes. As opposed to a “tight”’cough that might suggest spasm of the airways this preventing bringing up the mucous. Or, as you said, in contrast to a non-productive, aka “dry” cough.
We hail from the same place apparently. The south? 😁
Yeah that's my impression too. What's interesting is that the latest Covid variations result in a dry cough. (From personal experience, it's definitely not a "loose" or mucus productive cough.) I wonder which Covid variation Biden caught...
"Foot in the mouth" variant.
This is so funny and entertaining it almost makes all the terrible news worth it. Thanks for the daily jolt of sanity Jeff!
Well said!
Funny how things changed since our last President simply had a phone call with Taiwan and the media/ Dems had a fit: https://www.nbcnews.com/news/world/donald-trump-s-call-taiwan-president-was-not-surprised-official-n691466--
"Donald Trump's Call With Taiwan President Was No Surprise:
The unprecedented conversation between Trump and President Tsai Ing-wen could enrage China and strain ties between the two powers."
Plus, it didn’t cost millions of dollars just making a phone call.
Not to mention the huge carbon footprint. As they constantly yell "Climate change!" at us.
No gas powered lawn mowers or leaf blowers for you....but we can fly our private jets (along with military security) all over the world for no reason.
Oh wait, that’s completely different!🤣
Yeah, like all his mean tweets were going to start WWIII.
Because they are non-partisan it is very difficult to know who to vote for.
2 of the DeSantis endorsed candidates are in my county. They come from the Moms for Liberty organization.
We must keep a close watch on education issues in Florida; these are very telling about how our legislature thinks and acts.
I'm pleased with what Gov. DeSantis and the legislature are doing.
I looked hard at my primary ballot. One was endorsed by DeSantis and I went with him.
DeSantis is trying to save our schools from Woke and CRT. I will vote for the candidates he endorses.
😠
Absolutely! Agree with you 100%.
I use Brave too. Ditched duck duck go when I found them no better than google.
Yes, the same thing happened in MO. He should never endorse someone who is marginally conservative; people need to think! Trump is not God!
Same
Tudor Dixon was the weak link in the chain of Republican candidates, well known by most who watched the debates, except few people watch the debates.
Wow, Florida recently made it 365 days; 25 months is amazing.
it might even more restrictive than just for candidates. this is a summary by a boise-based "paper" (thus, heavily blue leaning):

" People don’t remember things."
I am waiting for Whitmer to declare a state of emergency for monkeypox
Yes, GOP wanted RINO Craig but he didn't make it to the ballot. Soldano had my vote. I am surprised at Dixon's margin of victory. Kari Lake in AZ won by a slim margin also with Trump backing but she was popular too. Dixon was not. The Dems will chew up Dixon but maybe with the help of Devos $$$ Dixon will give her a fight. I'm not sure our votes matter any more.
The larger win was Dems voting in lockstep for her. And we have no way of knowing how many ballots appeared after midnight in drop boxes.
I don't understand. Must reread
This.
Soros funding.
Exactly. That, and Michigan's open primary system. Plus, there's the corruption thing.
Just curious. What has Tudor Dixon said/done that marks her as a RINO?
Asking same question.
Oh no! Wish you had posted before. We don't know anything except what we read
Yeah, I wondered about her. I went with Kelly and was disappointed that he didn’t do better.
Grew up in upstate New York to parents born and raised in the Bronx, if those demographics mean anything in this loogie-hocking discussion.
yes me too, same terms
