I was watching Zelensky/Trump beating - I mean meeting - footage this morning and all the weird mannerisms Zelensky was displaying seemed indicative of drug use. You just don’t expect to see a drug addict in WWIII ceasefire negotiations. I think his days are numbered but like one commentator said, it’s really more about who is behind him. And Trump knows it, and is taking them on. Go Trump/Vance!

“This will make great television.” - Trump during the meeting (yes he really said that 😂)

People really need to take the time to watch the entire, unedited conference - just take the time - for several reasons:

1) to see that if you rely on the sound bites given via news outlets you will never understand the importance of what happened yesterday because you are certain to get an extremely slanted and inaccurate representation, as it was Zelenskyy that did the ambush, not Trump and Vance,

2) so you can be proud of the strength of our new administration and sit there with your jaw on the floor over the amazing display of courage, patriotism, and no-nonsense, mature, righteous control of the narrative in real time, something we ALL need to see since America has not had this protection in I don’t know how long, but as long as I’ve been alive. It’s like bathing yourself in a healing balm for your soul, and

3) to arm yourself with the facts because the libs have let loose on X their hounds to sow misinformation and hate about the conference and Ukraine. And they are citing CNN clips, Google searches, and EU sources as their proof of facts while accusing us of getting all our facts directly from … Russia. 🤣 I know all this firsthand. Then they invite ten friends to monkey pile you with gross insults while one or two of them spew the false facts - that incidentally they deeply, truly believe themselves. 🙄 The only way to combat that damage is to know the facts yourself.

MAGA should be just as organized to support each other in comments and replies, sans the disgusting insults of course. But we need to be supporting each other as we try to curb the false narratives and build a wall of truth that lies cannot penetrate and end up shattering upon impact.

Anyway, watch the entire conference. You will not regret the time spent.

I watched it. Zelensky has the mentality and maturity of a rebellious teenager. Some here have mentioned possible drug use, and that’s a good possibility too. To think that this sub-standard individual has been allowed a leadership role on the world stage is ludicrous. Thank goodness A REAL leader slapped him down, and all the better that it was done publicly where all could see the truth.

Edited to add…not just any teenager but a spoiled one who’s been getting what he wants since he was three years old, and now at 13, he’s going to TELL you what he wants and by golly, he expects to get it!

He never looked more like a feeble puppet than yesterday. I saw it clearly for the very first time. They have him completely convinced that America will “feel the influence” (aka pain - language barrier…) for Trump’s actions, and he was so bold to actually threaten and say that! It wasn’t bravery because he had nothing to back it up, except for the deceitful plans and promises of a backroom cabal. It all has been pre-decided for years and Zelenskyy was mailable enough to control, given promises and assurances if he did what he was told - and he willingly risks the lives of his own citizens never questioning why he should have to.

He was threatening us by saying we'd feel the effects/problems of war if we didn't agree with him, i.e. we'd get the problems of war because Russia would attack us. It was a threat and Pres Trump replied we'd feel strong, i.e. we are not in the weak position Ukraine is in.

Pres Trump also said you don't get to tell us how we'd feel, i.e. don't threaten us.

I think he had VP JD there since the VP had just experienced Zelennsky being two-faced. The VP could sit quietly and really listen. Once Pres Trump keyed in, all bets were off. (not like he's not a good negotiator, just having both of them gave a bit more objectivity and assurance that they were on the right track)

I get it in the strict (pedantic) sense, but with the language deficit he was trying to say we had no choice but to do what he (and, by extension, Europe) want or we'd feel it personally. That is questionable, which is why Pres said no.

We don't have to make the agreement based on his threat of Russia attacking us because President Trump is confident in his relationship with Putin. It was a threat without basis.

A warning would come from a place of strength, not weakness.

On a side note, one thing we can't forget is that the European left, our American left, they are all TALK and incapable of action. Unless Zelinsky is able to get 350 billion MORE out of the EU countries to make up what we don't give them going forward, I would say he's up the creek with them. The EU/NATO may not have the infrastructure to product the war weapons the U.S. has been sending Ukraine, but the NATO countries could certainly PAY the U.S. to produce more of them. That is, if that's possible, because various people keep saying our own supplies are fairly depleted, and production takes time. The key is they could PAY us. I'm tired of the U.S. GIVING all our money etc. away and getting nothing in return. That is why the minerals deal was good for us. There might be/might have been some potential to recoup some of the billions we have handed over to Ukraine.

The spoiled teenager is a good metaphor but there's something more to it. It's not just a sense of entitlement but unbridled sanctimony. Not only is Ukraine owed it due to the suffering the country has endured, but that Zelensky himself is upright and we are his vassals. He's owed our subservience because he is superior and we are garbage that need to serve him.

In case anyone hasn't noticed, this is exactly how Israel behaves and it's no surprise the most vociferous Ukraine supporters are 100% Zionist neocons. All of them. And there's a reason for that, they hate Russia (and Putin personally) for its historic lousy treatment of Jews. There's a chip on their shoulder. But even more important, they know if their guilt-tripping on Ukraine fails, US support of Israel may be next. If we can no longer be emotionally-manipulated to act against our own interests on Ukraine, then we may realize kowtowing Israel also isn't in our interest.

And that's why they really hate Trump (and Vance). America has had a psy-op run on us for the last sixty years (at least) to hate ourselves. To hate our proud Christian, Western European roots and the glorious Western Civilization it produced. And it worked as the country was systematically looted and flooded with unassimilated foreigners while we stood back afraid to say anything in our defense. The US military became a helpless tool of the neocons involved in Serbia, Iraq, Kuwait, Afghanistan, Syria, Libya, and now Ukraine, none of which have anything to do with the interests of the US.

Trump now says no, enough is enough. America is for Americans. American treasure is for Americans. The American military is for American interests. People telling us we aren't worthy of it (like Zelensky and the neocons) can go screw themselves. And that is why they are freaking out, as America is no longer acting like a battered wife that just takes it.

Everyone here is SPOT ON. The bottom line is this:

1- Zelensky is a clinical narcissist and this was narcissism on full public display. "Normally", narcissists are experts at putting on a false persona. They will fool you every time. It was fantastic to see one on public display.

2- Z has only one motive: he knows that if he loses power, he will be reduced to NOTHING. He is beyond desperate to retain power. He should flee with his stolen billions and buy an island. But his narcissistic ego will not allow it.

3- As Armstrong has explained in his blog, the European Union is going to collapse. The chief narcissists of the EU (EU President Ursula von der Leyen, UK PM Keir Starmer and French President Emmanuel Macron) know that the EU is going to collapse and they MUST start another European war so they can blame the collapse on Russia. As is the case with all true narcissism, they will put the entire population of Europe at risk of annihilation in order to retain their POWER.

4- Going forward - after we get through the coming catastrophe - the entire world needs to come together and agree that ALL national leaders must pass a psychological test for narcissistic syndrome before they can stand for election.

And that is the bottom line. Make no mistake: Russia is the strongest nuclear power on the planet. Even the USG cannot match their nuclear arsenal. If Putin is pressed to the wall, he will release the hounds of war upon Europe.

I would add that this is the reason the Founding Fathers warned us to trade with all but have alliances with none. Europe has been the epicenter of conflict for the last 1,000 years and the Fathers warned us to stay out of Europe's conflicts. The British Empire failed to conquer us militarily both in the American Revolutionary War and then in the War of 1812. They finally conquered us financially, economically and politically with President T. Woodrow Wilson's Democrat regime under whose leadership the Federal Reserve Act was signed into law, the 16th Amendment establishing the Federal Income Tax was passed, lead America INTO World War I and was the leading architect of the League of Nations' globalist initiative.

Let me reiterate, the British Crown has NEVER been America's friend.

Good comment Phil. That test for narcissism though is blindingly simple, do they put the interests of their own people first?

There's only one country in the West that is allowed to do this and it's Israel. It's the only country that's openly allowed, and even encouraged, to be nationalistic. In every other country it's forbidden and the native population is replaced, browbeaten, and demoralized. Or it was at least in the US until Trump wrestled away power from them.

Think about this, Since Putin came to power has the life of the average Russian improved? By virtually every objective measure the answer is yes. Now look at the US and Western Europe during the same period. The standard of living, crime, societal cohesion, infrastructure, etc. have all decayed, markedly so.

Putin is a nationalist and actually cares about the Russian people so he has to go.

I'm sorry, it is NOT "fantastic" to see a narcissist "on public display." I got to watch one everyday of my life for 38 years. It's disgusting to watch them suck up to everyone, to have those people tell you how lucky you are, to watch them lie about literally EVERYTHING that goes on in your life. Then having to deal with the massive, continual abuse from that person that you're so "lucky" to have as a spouse. The lies, the cheating, the thievery, it might look funny or fascinating to you from the outside, but real people get horribly hurt behind the scenes.

That would include the vast majority of Ukrainians that have to live under his rule.

Expand full comment
Politico Phil's avatar

Totally agree. You very succinctly describe what it is like to live with a narcissist. Until one has been personally impacted by a narcissist, it is nearly impossible to understand the depth of their depravity and innate malevolence. And these are the people who are most attracted to positions of power to rule over others; it is their drug of choice. I only find it fantastic to see one such leader 'out himself' in full public view - which was the intent of my comment. Narcissists have - literally - no empathy. They are not human. They would lead the entire world to destruction in their narcissistic pursuit of absolute power.

One cannot understand absolute evil until one has been subjected to it. America has had a taste of it for the last four years and some have had their eyes opened. Those who believe that there is good in all men make excuses for the evil and cannot admit that they have been fools to believe their lies. Zelensky is personally responsible for the deaths of over 1.1 million of his own people. The only ones who truly see this truth are those Ukrainians that still live under his rule in Ukraine.

When Q noted that Israel was being saved 'till last, I'm surmising it's because so many of us have been brainwashed to believe this particular iteration of Israel is the manifestation of biblical prophecy.

It will take many "red pills" about other lies we've been told before we can accept the reality of the evil of this Israeli oligarchy.

Jeff C's avatar

I was brainwashed too and was a Dispensationalist for thirty years. What made me look deeper was the Israeli state's behavior, I could not reconcile it with Christ's command to be kind to each other. He didn't say, "be kind to others except this secular country 1900 years in the future can kill whoever it wants and you must support them".

Once I started digging into it I pretty quickly realized Dispensationalism was a house of cards that defied 1800 years of Christian Church history. It only really became popular with the publication of Schofield's Bible in 1909. Scofield added footnotes to his "study bible" that were blatantly Zionist, and overturned two millennia of teaching on how the New Covenant ended Pharisaical Judaism once and for all.

Scofield's Bible was sent to seminaries across the US (often for free) and became mainstream. Scofield himself was a scoundrel who was imprisoned for fraud, abandoned his wife and children, and misrepresented his education. He claimed to have a Divinity Doctorate that was completely made up. He never publicly repented of any of it.

Scofield also had some very suspicious acquaintances, in particular a wealthy backer named Samuel Untermyer. Untermyer was a prominent New York attorney, Jewish, and a leading figure in the Zionist movement and the push for an Israeli state. A strange bedfellow for a humble Christian pastor just trying to help people understand their Bible.

Much of this can be found in Joseph Canfield's "The Incredible Scofield and His Book" (PDF's can be found on line). He painstakingly researched Scofield's life back in the 1980's which amazingly had never been done before.

I don't either but these things take time unfortunately. The country has been brainwashed since the 1960's to hate ourselves with post-holocaust guilt by association, charges of anti-semitism and racism, and errant Dispensational Christianity (i.e. the belief the current Israeli state is a fulfillment of biblical prophesy and we must serve it). We've had a psychological number done on us that really is mind-boggling, none of this is organic, and will take decades to reverse, assuming it ever is.

I don't wish the state of Israel any ill will, but that it be treated like any other country. It doesn't get to dictate terms to the US, doesn't get to blackmail/extort US lawmakers, doesn't get a blank check (or any funding for that matter), and is doesn't get away with war crimes. No other country in the world is coddled by the US like Israel.

But we need to crawl before we can walk, and the Ukraine thing is a good first step. Trump would have been condemned by his own party during his first term for what happened with Zelensky yesterday. Yet this time, the party supported him, so we are making progress. We've gotten to the point at least where we can tell these self-serving manipulators to get bent.

Do this with everything. I spend hours, almost everyday, researching, reading, going further down the rabbit hole. That's why I am not afraid to debate anyone anytime on any subject, no notes. I am saying I know it all? Of course not, but I know more than 99 % of the people in the West about what is going on , and what has gone on. You find that out quickly when they have to resort to ad hominem attacks, because they have no facts, just feelings and talking points. Having the facts is empowering, and frightening to the 'tards and their tools. Ugh I wish I could have called on you last night for some help. They actually DO have what they believe to be “facts.” LOTS of them too. They have been groomed well. I’m not as quick or as good at immediately coming back with the proper counter facts. But I’m also not gullible and I recognize truth and lies when I see and hear them. I trust what my studious mind has concluded and what my gut tells me (tuned into the Holy Spirit - not as a “Jesus freak” but as a true Christian,) so when it conflicts with what they are saying I can’t be swayed. When they finally give me their sources, it’s astounding. For instance one was a video from CNN where panels discuss how people misinterpreted Trump’s first meeting with North Korea’s leader as proof of him aligning with dictators because “he saluted him” and it wasn’t the faux pas they painted it as or proper protocol … and here’s why ….” But as I watched it I saw two old men tripping over themselves trying to great each other respectfully, Trump puts out his hand to shake the other’s while the other quickly salutes instead (because their custom is to salute other commanders in chiefs) so then Trump quickly does a little salute but the other guy had quickly switched to shake hands. It was comical. You can see they were trying to respect the other’s custom. It was nothing more than that. But this CNN video goes to great lengths to painstakingly frame it much more nefarious about Trump. That was how many years ago? If Trump fit their accusations no way in hell would he be doing ANYTHING that he is right now. Dictators NEVER risk giving the public power and the truth. However, to the average person unaware of what the media has been doing, it sure comes off as incriminating. I felt impossibly inept to respond in any constructive way and all I could do is laugh that they cited CNN as their proof. Yeah, I would have loved to send a nudge to a more capable friend to come chime in at that moment.

Imagine a soft spoken, kind tone that clearly had the intent to explain my history and what kind of care I was looking for. That’s it. Her reaction was so extreme and misplaced. Her nurse came in and said the appointment was over and this wouldn’t be a good match. 🤣🤣🤣 Ya think?!?!

Most recently I understood cholesterol far better than the nurse who was trying to scare me to death with the need for an emergency appointment so they could put me on a statin because my LDL was 170. 🤣🤣🤣🤣 If you have done any research on cholesterol, like via world renowned cardiologists like Dr Nadir Ali, you’ll understand why I typed four LOL emojis. I was calmer than the nurse. I explained to her the indicator they were using was not what she thought it was, and what matters most is the triglycerides to HDL ratio, of which mine was downright enviable. You want it below or right about 1, and mine was like a .6 or .7 or something like that. My LDL cholesterol is higher because I’m Keto/Carnivore and the allopathic medical guidance is built on the SAD (standard American diet) so the advice and concerns for those people are polar opposite to people like me. They need to catch up.

Her rudeness in reply to my relaxed and calm demeanor was such that I will never go back. They haven’t tried to send me their normal “please leave us feedback” requests either. 🤣 I’m pretty sure they know what I would say.

I refuse to see another doctor that isn’t at the very minimum up to speed with what I understand myself about my personal health issues and my diet, but preferably a lot more please. Lol. Where are they? Where are those doctors that use natural healing first and only turn to allopathic medicines as a last resort?

Closeted, compliant, compromising "Christians" or Leftist-Christian Nationalists (Tim Walz) are fine in the eyes of Fake Media, while true believer-traditional, orthodox-fundamentalist-Catholics are rightwing radicals who killed Indians, destroy nature, allow Race-based Slavery, and oppress all other religions, impede secular science and advancement, disallow sexual "freedom", and impose arbitrary rules on behalf of an imaginary God. Progressive, anti-theistic, inclusivity and superior virtues of tolerance, diversity, and rejection of higher morality, natural law, or a Divine power interacting positively with people is both foolish and repugnant to the superior thinking, reasoned and rationally enlightened mind that rejects Faith and elevates a Wall of Separation between civil authority and the public square in the attempt to sanitize society from untamed and unashamed religious adherents who call Jesus Lord and Christ. Their Morality NAZI-boogeyman is labeled a Bible thumper, a White Christian Nationalist or some such thing, i simply chose "Jesus freak". The American rightwing radical religious zealot is simply a useful political and social weapon of Capitalist-Patriarchy to dominate and exploit Nature and humanity in the Conspiracy-Theory of Leftism; The Culture War is real and i embrace it rather than take offence and try to explain reality to deaf ears. I agree. Perhaps all those who make distinctions between Jesus freaks and “true” Christians should watch the movie, “The Jesus Revolution” about the Jesus revival of the 1970’s. That made a whole segment of new believers. Jesus told His disciples; Go and make believers of all Nations.

Funny story- I was talking to a neighbor yesterday who was distressed by the tv coverage of Trump “yelling at the president of Kosovo” (not kidding, she said Kosovo). She asked me if I thought it was ok for our president to yell at another world leader who seemed really nice. I told her I would have to look that up before I could agree or disagree with her… but I told her the guy probably was an underhanded diplomat and deserved to be yelled at. I’m certain she was talking about the meeting with Zelenskyy.

She also recently retired from a government job, and you guessed it, she complained about the 5 things employees were were required to report they did last week. I said, why should anyone be upset about that?? I don’t get paid for anything I do unless I write a note describing it. She gave me a description of what she did in her job, and I said you would just have to write that down in your list. She said… “but I just do those things, I don’t think about how to write them down”. Ugghh. We talked about additional topics, like do I think J6ers should have been pardoned, obviously yes. Yours, O LORD, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the victory and the majesty, indeed everything that is in the heavens and the earth; Yours is the dominion, O LORD, and You exalt Yourself as head over all. Both riches and honor come from You, and You rule over all, and in Your hand is power and might; and it lies in Your hand to make great and to strengthen everyone. Now that the facade has been ripped off the Ukraine Grift show, sponsored by most of the US Congress, we have a little more than 18 months to get ready to kick out every elected politician who voted for continuous funding of the Ukraine scam.

As DOGE audits and releases information about how much taxpayer money was stolen/wasted, that information should be highlighted in campaigns against current office holding elected politicians. Along with that, the vast majority also voted for continuous funding of USAID and other wasteful programs. If these people are allowed to return, the whole MAGA revolution will be short-lived.

Democrats will be happy to return their crooked elected politician to DC, that's all they know. I guess this will be when we find out if there is a difference between Republicans and Democrats.

you are so correct, CC, BUT...the very big elephant in the room is elections. We must get back to one day voting, paper ballots, and voter ID before the '26 mid terms. Otherwise, this is all for naught.

Expand full comment
79SmithW60's avatar

100% top importance. CONGRESS has the authority to address the one day voting, paper ballots, voter ID, no machine counting, absentee ballots only for military and other extra ordinary circumstances that are approved by the local town election officials under the Article I, Section 4. clause 2 ...; but Congress may at any time by Law make or alter such Regulations, except as to the Places of chusing Senators.

Expand full comment
HUMDEEDEE's avatar

Why not an Executive Order? May not be "business as usual" but of course unless our loosy-goosy unlawful election procedures are blasted into oblivion no election will ever take place that can't be questioned.

Expand full comment
79SmithW60's avatar

If an EO would work in the short term, I would be all for it, however, I think the litigation industrial Democrat complex would litigate an EO on voting like that into oblivion and the states that actual need the correction would likely just ignore it (through litigation of their own).

I think that the Supreme Court may even way in and interpret that the Constitution says what it says in Article I, Section 4 (that Congress has the authority to change federal election law and not the Chief Executive): The Article I, Section 4, clause 2 specifically states that "Congress may at any time by Law make or alter such Regulations, except as to the Places of chusing Senators.

I think the best and most constitutional way of doing it is to get Congress to do their job and fix it.

Expand full comment
LMWC's avatar

I am not sure if you can make a Federal law about one day voting and paper ballots. I wish we could to make it uniform across the board, but I know in Michigan’s ‘22 midterms there were 3 constitutional amendments on the ballot. All 3 passed, (of course), one of which was new voter laws. Nine days to vote, mail in voting for everyone, challenges to voting after, so on and so on. Not sure even Federal law could supersede it. It would have to be passed by Congress first and we know like term limits, that will never happen.

Expand full comment
79SmithW60's avatar

LMWC, please read my above reply to HUMDEEDEE.

Also, I do think Congress has the authority to change it for federal elections. If you read the entire Article I, Section 4. clause 1: Quote: "The Times, Places and Manner of holding Elections for Senators and Representatives, shall be prescribed in each State by the Legislative thereof; but the Congress may at any time by Law make or alter such Regulations, except as to the Places of chusing Senators." The 17th Amendment changed how Senators are chosen (wrongly in my opinion, but I could write for days on that...). The key above is "but the Congress may at any time by Law make or alter such Regulations,". That is what gives them the authority.

Lastly, this Section was completely ignored in the 2020 (s)election but many states (WI - state supreme court changed election law), GA (consent decree agreements by GA Secy of State allowing drop boxes, etc.), PA (state supreme court extending the vote counting timeline by a week or more, I don't recall the exact number of days), and there were others. All that was ignored by the Federal Supreme Court and by VP Pence and the US Congress... it is hard to have a Republic when those that are supposed to preserve, protect and defend it are actively ignoring and subverting it...

A question I have is WHY did Lindsay feel the need to hold a presser? It wasn't about him. Did he finally see a graceful and abrupt way to get out of his long fawning and increasingly unpopular position to support Zelensky? A big (and desperate) fundraising photo op? Him showing the president he's REALLY (I mean "REALLY"! pinky promise!) behind the president?

I described this to people I emailed to as REAL, daytime reality TV as you'll ever see.

I realized that we are not always the "good guys" after the last 35 years (Bush 41, Clinton, Bush 43, BHO, and FJB regimes). Just look at the decline of the west with the US leading the way (took God out of the public square, conducting regime change around the world, especially in the middle east and north Africa, pushing the global climate cult worship, pushing abortion, euthanasia, jabs, lockdowns, the tranny cult, sterilization, mutilation of children, destruction of the traditional family unit, child and women trafficking, destroying freedom of speech and standing the rule of law on its head, just to name a few "issues").

Russia and a handful of eastern European countries like Hungary and Slovenia (there are probably others) are fighting against all the lunacy that is being perpetrated on humanity. It seems that all the prayers for the conversion of Russia over the past 100 plus years has paid off. Now we have to pray for the same conversion of the USA and the "West" as a whole. That was the historic alignment. The Tzar sent ships to New York to defend us at some point (against France, I believe).

The problems began when the Bolsheviks foisted regicide upon the Russian people and proceeded to slaughter them and impose the jackboot of Communism.

I'm not certain Russia isn't crypto-communist (they do at least go along with globalism), but granting they are not, I have a hard time seeing them as an objective enemy. I suppose Putin said he would like to have expanded Western borders, but we've got our President angling for Canada and Greenland 😏

Anyway, there is also a thread of Americans (silent generation and Boomers, mainly) that cannot stand the idea of German industry aligning with Russian resources. I understand this could be an intense competitor, but what is wrong with that? Why can't we just let each person (Country) work toward their greatest potential? 🤷

Maybe I'm too naive.

She was a candidate for Head of NATO last year.

She’s on video saying she wants Russia broken up into small countries.

There is a very old historical hatred of Russia these people don't want to let go of.

Originally, the animosity was split on religious boundaries..the Papacy and it's Roman Catholic countries vs Orthodox Russia and the Baltic states.

Western Ukraine, part of the then Austrio-Hungary Empire, came to be under the Aegis of the Papacy (now known as Byzantine rite Catholics). TheEastern territory remained under the Aegis of the Orthodox Patriarch of Moscow.

Ironically, the deep seated historical religious animosity has now morphed into secular, Atheist western Europe vs religious, conservative Russia.

It is interesting stuff which most Americans don't understand. My mom was a brilliant historian and shared her knowledge of this.
