I cannot understand why people can’t understand Romans 9-11. Or Isaiah 66:8. If God goes back on His promise to Abraham, and to Moses, then why should He uphold His promises to me? I see it a bit differently. The main lock down is twofold, to stop all Iranian oil transport and revenue, and to immediately stop blackmail payments to Iran. The rest may simply be to ensure safe passage. I strongly suspect any past payments to Iran will be allowed to move forward, as there is no means to get Iran to refund. But there will be zero payments going forward. I think Jeff is wrong in saying there is no threat. It is estimated that Iran still has several hundred fast attack boats. The mine threat is real. And the do have some remaining ( up to 25 percent) capacity to fire longer range misses. All of this combines to yet limit how many tankers can safely be moved at a time.
As far as attack boats go, the US has previous experience in picking small boats off, in the interdiction and destruction of the drug runner boats from South America. Doesn't seem like a big problem to me.

It is very concerning to me that he has poor judgment to post this but like you said, I guess he is human and makes errors.
I see it a bit differently. The main lock down is twofold, to stop all Iranian oil transport and revenue, and to immediately stop blackmail payments to Iran. The rest may simply be to ensure safe passage. I strongly suspect any past payments to Iran will be allowed to move forward, as there is no means to get Iran to refund. But there will be zero payments going forward. I think Jeff is wrong in saying there is no threat. It is estimated that Iran still has several hundred fast attack boats. The mine threat is real. And the do have some remaining ( up to 25 percent) capacity to fire longer range misses. All of this combines to yet limit how many tankers can safely be moved at a time.
As far as attack boats go, the US has previous experience in picking small boats off, in the interdiction and destruction of the drug runner boats from South America. Doesn't seem like a big problem to me.

I truly don’t think he thought he was posting himself as Jesus. I think he was posting a picture of himself as a healer sent as a gift from God, like the disciples were sent out to heal. However, I hope he understands how people misread it and how it offended them and I hope he just deletes it also.
