I had heart surgery in 2018 to replace a defective at birth, aortic valve. The docs also concluded that I needed a CABG as well (actually, no graft, just repurposing another artery). Then it was off to the cardiologists of which I've had, and fired, five of them now.
Each of these cardiologists wanted me on some sort of statin at some dose range. They also wanted me to take other pharma prescribed potions, like losartan (look up how many recalls etc). Each of the five had their own favorite statin and adjuncts. Each of the five had no interest in my questions and questioning. Each of the five no longer get $$'s

Neither of those seats are contested in 2026. The seat gallego currently sits in was stolen in 2024 and the gargoyle's seat, treasonous mark kelly was put into power by the stolen election of 2022. OK folks. Jeff is asking us to do our part and vote. I sent out an email to one part of my family, about 20 voting adults. These are all conservative voters, but some can get lazy and take our freedoms for granted. I will be leaning on them. And contacting a bunch of friends/acquaintances too. As Larry the Cable Guy says, "Let's get-er done."
Taking our constitutional freedoms — especially the right to vote — for granted is an insult to every fallen hero and veteran that has served or is currently serving to protect and defend them for us. Remember the closing scene of Saving Private Ryan: “Earn this.” Show that you appreciate their sacrifices by investing the relatively minuscule amount of time it takes to cast your ballot. I too am kicking against the goads in national elections when it comes to presidential and senatorial races, but can still make a difference at the local level. I believe it is a moral imperative to vote in every election, and I have. And take a bunch of friends with you to the polls, if your state votes that way. Make a day of it. Generations of veterans would appreciate that.
I am a veteran, 24 years active in the Navy. Throughout my career, I had to vote absentee and was never convinced my vote counted. Since retiring, I've voted on every Election Day in person to make sure my vote counted. Not bragging, just saying. BTW, I'm about as conservative as you can get!!!

I started reading the WSJ in the 1970s. It was a great paper and one could get an education on business, finance, taxes, etc. from its pages. That all changed during Obama's first term. The quality of the reporting had me shaking my head so often that it became hard to justify the subscription price.
The last straw was when some "reporter" wrote that both bond prices and interest rates were both rising - a mathematical impossibility. The paper that gave me my financial education was now a rag being run by financial illiterates.
Used to enjoy reading it, but their subscription price is astronomical and they insisted on handing the “news” department to 20-something journalism graduates.
I used to be a subscriber for decades. Then I left. Now I read it for free (and can comment too HAH!) by using the digital resources at my library. It signs me up for three days and it’s free and I can renew every three days forever and ever amen.
If the Republicans had passed the Save Act which everyone wanted, there would be no question for Nov victory. But frankly, this failure will cause a lot of R voters to stay home. I will vote but I do feel like Charlie Brown when Lucy holds the football!!!

The GOPers with control of the checkbooks do not like some of the candidates (Darren Bailey for Gov, for one) so are withholding the support. I understand my red vote goes nowhere in Pritzker’s machine but the IL GOP is not helping, to put it mildly. 😖

Neither of those seats are contested in 2026. The seat gallego currently sits in was stolen in 2024 and the gargoyle's seat, treasonous mark kelly was put into power by the stolen election of 2022. OK folks. Jeff is asking us to do our part and vote. I sent out an email to one part of my family, about 20 voting adults. These are all conservative voters, but some can get lazy and take our freedoms for granted. I will be leaning on them. And contacting a bunch of friends/acquaintances too. As Larry the Cable Guy says, "Let's get-er done."
Taking our constitutional freedoms — especially the right to vote — for granted is an insult to every fallen hero and veteran that has served or is currently serving to protect and defend them for us. Remember the closing scene of Saving Private Ryan: “Earn this.” Show that you appreciate their sacrifices by investing the relatively minuscule amount of time it takes to cast your ballot. I too am kicking against the goads in national elections when it comes to presidential and senatorial races, but can still make a difference at the local level. I believe it is a moral imperative to vote in every election, and I have. And take a bunch of friends with you to the polls, if your state votes that way. Make a day of it. Generations of veterans would appreciate that.
I am a veteran, 24 years active in the Navy. Throughout my career, I had to vote absentee and was never convinced my vote counted. Since retiring, I've voted on every Election Day in person to make sure my vote counted. Not bragging, just saying. BTW, I'm about as conservative as you can get!!!

No one really takes the WSJ seriously anymore. It's getting like the San Francisco chronicle, also known as the San Fran Comical.
I started reading the WSJ in the 1970s. It was a great paper and one could get an education on business, finance, taxes, etc. from its pages. That all changed during Obama's first term. The quality of the reporting had me shaking my head so often that it became hard to justify the subscription price.
The last straw was when some "reporter" wrote that both bond prices and interest rates were both rising - a mathematical impossibility. The paper that gave me my financial education was now a rag being run by financial illiterates.

I used to be a subscriber for decades. Then I left. Now I read it for free (and can comment too HAH!) by using the digital resources at my library. It signs me up for three days and it’s free and I can renew every three days forever and ever amen.
However small the portion, the subscription price through the library is paid for by your tax dollars.
Which, ahem, I pay for anyway so why not use it? And the library is about the only thing I get for my city property taxes.

Maybe the biggest advertisement we should be pushing right now is: “You want the SAVE Act passed? We have one more election that must be too big to rig in order to accomplish that. Give this president the Republican numbers he needs to be able to pass it without thin margins and typical excuses for not passing it. One. More. Time. And then the People will always have the power and control to choose who their leaders are, not some deep state cabal. This midterm election matters equally as the 2024 election did.
