ππ¬ WORLD NEWS AND COMMENTARY π¬π
π₯ CBS ran a terrific story yesterday headlined, βDeSantis greets nearly 300 Americans evacuated from Israel at Tampa airport.β Floridaβs first delivery of rescued stranded Americans β who got a much bigger Israel adventure than they paid for β landed safely in Tampa yesterday. Grateful tourists were surprised by an in-person welcome by the Governor of Florida himself. In the flesh. Not a picture.
CLIP: Short message from Governor Ron DeSantis (0:22).
Florida did not charge Americans for the rescue flight home.
Meanwhile, the Biden Administration, completely unable to scare up any military or government planes, chartered a single ship today to float American nationals from Haifa, Israel to Cyprus, Greece β about 184 miles β where they will be on their own getting home. Itβs literally the least that the federal government could do:
Hereβs how Haaretz described the deal: βMondayβs boat trip from Haifa is not free: Those who board the ship will be required to sign an agreement to repay the U.S. government for the cost of the trip.β
Youβd better read the small print on that agreement.
While air charters were promised, the feds have not yet published any schedule of chartered flights. But the federal government has promised that nobody rides for free. Oh! And the flightsβ final destination will be Pyongyang.
π Itβs getting weirder. Buffalo Bills running back Damien Harris was stretchered and removed from the field in an ambulance after suffering an on-screen βneck injuryβ from a light tackle during Sunday nightβs game against the New York Giants.
Including the well-known Damar Hamlin incident, this one made the Billβs third dramatic on-field injury in a year. Plus, the teamβs owner, Kim Pegula, had a stroke or something last year and is now brain damaged. The rest of the team has to be talking about jinxes at this point.
πΒ Threeβs Company star, health author, and Thighmaster spokesmodel Suzanne Somers, 76, died this weekend after what Establishment Media mendaciously labeled a β50-year battle with breast cancer.β
What nonsense. The truth is, Suzanne beat breast cancer 20 years ago. In a recent Instagram post, she explained βevery now and then it pops up again, and I continue to bat it down. I have used the best alternative and conventional treatments to combat it. This is not new territory for me.β
But not this time. This time it was way too fast.
Suzanne got the bad news her cancer was back just two months ago in early August. But despite treating it using alternative and conventional treatments, and despite thinking she was familiar with her disease, sheβs dead now. Turbo speed.
π Middle East War Briefing: At this point, no Gaza ground assault is expected until after Joe Biden visits Israel later this week. Reading between the lines, the White House intends to try to talk or pressure Israel out of invading Gaza.
As official numbers continue trickling in (1), Saturdayβs devastating terrorist attack on Israel gets worse and worse. Hamas militants slew nearly 300 IDF soldiers. Israel has officially notified almost 200 families their relatives are now hostages, and the number could be as high as 300. The total slain on Saturday now exceeds 1,300, with 4,000 more reported wounded.
Relative to Israelβs population size, there are so many dead and wounded that nearly every Israeli citizen has a first or second-degree connection to someone killed or wounded in Saturdayβs attack. The attacks are all they are thinking and talking about.
Yet Israeli public opinion is sharply divided. One group feels the government, especially the leftwing factions, displayed unforgivable levels of incompetence β at minimum β during the entire two year period while Hamas was carefully planning its assault (2). Others feel now is the time for working together, and criticizing Israelβs leadership just helps the enemy (3).
A second U.S. carrier group β the USS Dwight Eisenhowerβs five ships β should join the five-ship USS Gerald R. Fordβs carrier group off the coast of Israel sometime this week (4). The growing U.S. Navy fleet in the Eastern Mediterranean is deterring Syria and Iran from taking advantage of Israelβs focus on its war against Hamas. In that sense, the local U.S. military assets are de-escalatory.
Keep your eye on Egypt. For months, Egypt has been in a tense standoff with U.S. intelligence agencies. Egypt angered the deep state when it applied to join Russiaβs alternative currency network, BRICS. Right after that, suddenly, unexpectedly, and utterly coincidentally, Senator Bob Menendez (D-N.J.) was turbo-indicted for treason, for accepting bribes from Egypt, and now faces a speedy May 6th trial date (5). Menendezβs political career is finished. In other words, Egyptβs decades-old, Senate-level political tool in the U.S. government was scuttled.
But as ever, the fickle worm of politics has turned again. Now the Biden Administration needs Egyptβs help, to accept Palestinian refugees from Gaza. Yesterday, U.S. Proxy Liar Anthony Blinken went to Cairo begging for help (6). Blinken is totally outmatched. Egyptian President Abdel something-something el-Sisi bargained harder than a Turkish rug merchant. Expect Menendezβs bribery charges to vanish like the morning dew, as quickly and unexpectedly as they appeared, and/or keep an eye on the satellite monitors for an official Egyptian bribe so big itβs visible from space.

π Meanwhile, over in β¦ what was that country called again? You-something β¦ Ukulele β¦ oh, I got it. Politico ran a story this morning headlined, βPutin hammers Ukraine with West distracted by Middle East crisis.β
Politico reported that over the weekend, Russian forces attacked Ukraineβs energy infrastructure and struck various regions with missiles and drones. βNewly replenishedβ Russian forces pressed Ukraine on all parts of the front line.Β For example, Russia shelled the Kherson region alone more than 200 times between Saturday and Sunday.
But who cares! Over the weekend, Ukraine president and former comedian Zelenskyy bragged to media that Kiev βcannot be conqueredβ and laughed that the Russians were uselessly throwing men into a losing battle. If Russia keeps losing this way, Zelenskyy will be out of a job soon.
Meanwhile, from yesterdayβs Business Insider:
Thatβs not a good sign. The donors are needed for Israel now. Itβs a good thing Kiev cannot be conquered, like Zelenskyy says.
π₯ The House will vote this morning on whether Jim Jordan will become its new Speaker, although some commenters suggested the vote may be extended until tomorrow. Jordan needs 217 votes to win. CBS reported late last night there were still β10 to 20β Republican holdouts.
Media reported Biden plans to ask Congress for over $24 billion in foreign aid this week, in a tightly-combined Israel-Ukraine package. Joe will need some political finesse to thread the needle of tying Israel aid to Ukraine, since the two conflicts are just like each other.Β (Not really.)
The House will need a Speaker to hold votes.
An ABC weekend poll suggested that all Bidenβs public virtue-signaling and support for Israel is not helping him politically:
Too bad they donβt make a little blue pill for that low confidence problem.
π The Hill ran an unintentionally hilarious bit of backfiring pharma propaganda yesterday while desperately trying to short up Pfizerβs stock, capped with a blithely ironic and self-parodying headline, βWhy do I feel sick after getting the flu shot, COVID booster?β
The answer to the headlineβs rhetorical question suggests itself. Because it MAKES you sick, thatβs why. But that article was even funnier than that and ultimately could even have been a stealth anti-jab piece. Sadly for the Hill, to maintain credibility it was forced to use all kinds of weasel language, and admit some uncomfortable facts, since everyone now knows the shots are perfectly awful, and their ever-waning efficacy can only be detected using the Hubble Telescope on a good day.
The article starts by answering its headlined question β by posing another question, presumably something that dark government propagandists surfaced in some CIA focus group. The Hill thinks some folks might be wondering why they get sick after the shots, but not their friends, who brag on social media they didnβt even need a band-aid or have a sore arm.
This will shock you. But the simple answer to the puzzle of why the shots make some people sick but not others is: they have no idea. The establishment scientists, once so confident about everything covid and 100% sure about the safety and efficacy of the jabs, now find themselves suddenly and regretfully helpless as vaccine-injured babies.
Itβs an enigmatic mystery, a riddle deeper than the Sphinx:
Unfortunately, there is no scientific explanation as to why some people experience side effects and others donβt, explained Dr. Rachel Scheraga, a pulmonary and critical care specialist at Cleveland Clinic.
Itβs unfortunate!
As if we all havenβt heard it a hundred times now, their ridiculous lie is that the shots are working when they give you symptoms of the disease β but the benefit is itβs not the actual disease. Itβs kind of like taking the polio shot and becoming paralyzed. The good thing is you werenβt really paralyzed by polio, not per se. Your frigid, motionless body proves the polio shot is working.
Of course, here in the real world, on Planet Earth, we perceive that the symptoms are just what we are trying to avoid. The pro-pharma scientistsβ finer distinctions about degrees of severity are quite lost on most of us, which may be part of the reason uptake is only 2%.
Or, it could be all the side effects they are willing or required to admit at this point. I collected all the following side-effect sentences from the single article. Compare what the short article admits about the downsides versus what it claims about the upsides. Hereβs the downside:
Feeling a bit under the weather after getting the flu vaccine or COVID booster is OK.
The CDC notes that you may experience soreness, redness, or swelling where you got either shot for a few days. You could have some flu-like symptoms afterward. That includes a headache, a fever, nausea, muscle aches, fatigue, and potentially fainting.Β
Those who receive their newest COVID booster shots may experience a number of symptoms, including tiredness, headache, muscle and joint pains, chills, fever, nausea, diarrhea, vomiting, dizziness, irritability, swollen lymph nodes, and generally feeling unwell.
Your symptoms from either vaccine should last hours to days, according to Dr. Scheraga. If you have a fever, headache, or respiratory symptoms for longer than a day or so, she recommends seeking medical attention.
Another serious but rare side effect to be aware of is Guillian-BarrΓ© Syndrome. Seen in the face and sometimes other parts of the body, Dr. Althoff says GBS can occasionally cause temporary paralysis.
You can get the flu vaccine and COVID booster at the same time, but you may want to do it when you know youβll have some free time, in case you do experience side effects.
Boy, that sounds great! I canβt wait to encounter all those risks. But letβs look at the glass half-full. Here are all the weakly-worded sentences about the benefits of the shots:
It doesnβt mean you canβt get sickβ¦ But, those who receive the vaccine are less likely to become seriously ill or die from an infection than those who are not vaccinated.
βItβs about making sure that youβre not becoming so seriously ill that youβre hospitalized. That is our first and foremost priority, that we can avoid severe illness,β she says, adding that the COVID vaccines and boosters have also been found to reduce a personβs risk of being hospitalized or becoming seriously ill.Β
Haha, thatβs it, thatβs the whole thing. And even though the so-called doctor claimed the shots βmake sureβ you donβt get seriously ill, the Hill immediately followed that quote clarifying the shots only βreduce a personβs riskβ of getting seriously ill. You might have to look at it twice to notice what they did there, but a readerβs subconscious easily notes the discrepancy.
They wrote a whole pro-jab article and those few sentences were all they could stitch together to try to sell us on the damned things.Β They canβt say it will keep you from catching covid or the flu. They canβt say it will help create herd immunity. They canβt even say it will stop you from getting very sick or dying. The best they got is it will βreduce your riskβ of getting sick or dying. They canβt even say by how much. It will reduce your risk by a mysterious, unknown and unknowable amount.
I think this might be why booster uptake is only 2%.
π Johns Hopkins University professor Dr. Marty Makary, an actual expert, is not a happy camper. He angrily told the HouseΒ Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Pandemic during its first hearing last week that "the greatest perpetrator of misinformation during the pandemic has been the United States government.β
True. The U.S. Government should have a thirty-day social media timeout for spreading misinformation, to see how it feels.
CLIP: Spicy excerpt of Dr. Makary testimony to House Covid Committee (2:08).
Dr. Makary didnβt mince words. A real expert, Dr. Makary accused the governmentβs public health establishment of lying, of βweaponizing medical researchβ with manipulated, fraudulent studies. You donβt have to believe me β believe Dr. Makary:
βWeβve seen something which is unforgivable. And that is the weaponization of medical research itself. The CDC putting out their own shoddy studies β like their own study on natural immunity looking at one state for two months, when they had data for years on all fifty states β why did they only report that one sliver of data? Why did they salami slice that giant database? Because it gave them the result they wanted. Same with masking studiesβ¦ Public health officials were intellectually dishonest. They lied to the American people. Thank you.β
Dr. Makary also said that all the public health establishment has achieved was to create a new category of never-vaxxers, who are even scarier than anti-vaxxers. He has a point. I would mark myself down in the βnever-vaxxerβ category. If experts like Dr. Makary concluded Public Health lied this much about covid vaccines, who knows how much theyβve been lying about every other so-called vaccine?

Headline should read: "DeSantis Single Handedly Embarrasses U.S. Government."
Admittedly, that's not exactly a tall order, given the administration's most pressing task is to make sure our installed POTUS doesn't nosedive off stage into the tuba section, but you can't complain or argue about these results. Actually giving a rip. What a concept......The antithesis of all things Biden. Yet, another awkward breakfast at the Out House....uh, White House.
