« instead of asking how much more a handful of billionaires could pay in taxes, we should be asking how much less tax money the entire federal government could spend.»
Watched Reagan (the movie) last night and it was shocking to see them arguing about getting the budget to balance….those words just aren’t spoken or even thought anymore. But yeah, getting the government to spend WAY less would be fabulous!
While that’s a problem, the far bigger one is lack of personal accountability. Why is the government (aka my tax dollars) responsible for someone else’s lack of good nutrition, exercise, sunlight, and time in nature? Same goes for almost any social issue we have - the government has about 7-legitimate functions laid out in the constitution, and healthcare isn’t one of them
That’s right. My health is none of the government’s business. Get the government out of the healthcare industry completely and a lot of wrongs will be righted.
It was a different time. I remember taking a college course about the federal budget deficit - it was a big deal and people, even some politicians, were extremely concerned about it. Times have certainly changed. Can’t wait to see “Reagan”!
I saw the movie yesterday. Reagan was a good president overall. But the sad fact was that the budget deficits (as a % of GDP) were the worst ever in times of peace until 2020, when we had the COVID money blowout.
The rose colored glasses are off and so I for sure realize he wasn’t perfect (don’t tell the younger me LOL!!)….the immunity for vaccine manufacturers is pretty unforgivable too, but I still think he was far more good than bad which is all we can really hope for
The More We Make the More they take and reward themselves and their Parasite Pals in the grifting and granting of spoils and killing the Sow that suckles them all
Move Federal responsibilities aka Education back where they belong, the States. There is no reason to have a Dept of Education at the Federal level. They could be 100% cut.
I worked in higher ed where the push to spend every last budgeted penny was supremely important so as not to have the next budget reduced by any amount left unspent. This ‘policy’ resulted in end of FY frenzied spending on unnecessary office supplies, furniture, etc. The excess funds could not go toward personnel of course because that was a different line item. 😖
I have been allowing my Bible to fall open to no specific place and reading what I have marked at some point over the years. Today it was Hebrews 13:14-16..."For here we do not have an enduring city, but we are looking for the city that is to come. Through Jesus, therefore, let us continually offer to God a sacrifice of praise - the fruit of lips that confess His name. And do not forget to do good and to share with others, for with such sacrifices God is pleased." I was challenged and may it also challenge you my friends in this community.
'7 Remember your leaders, those who spoke to you the word of God. Consider the outcome of their way of life, and imitate their faith. 8 Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever. 9 Do not be led away by diverse and strange teachings, for it is good for the heart to be strengthened by grace, not by foods, which have not benefited those devoted to them. 10 We have an altar from which those who serve the tent have no right to eat. 11 For the bodies of those animals whose blood is brought into the holy places by the high priest as a sacrifice for sin are burned outside the camp. 12 So Jesus also suffered outside the gate in order to sanctify the people through his own blood. 13 Therefore let us go to him outside the camp and bear the reproach he endured. 14 For here we have no lasting city, but we seek the city that is to come. 15 Through him then let us continually offer up a sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of lips that acknowledge his name. 16 Do not neglect to do good and to share what you have, for such sacrifices are pleasing to God.'
Truly, truly, I say to you, an hour is coming and now is, when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God, and those who hear will live. For just as the Father has life in Himself, even so He gave to the Son also to have life in Himself; and He gave Him authority to execute judgment, because He is the Son of Man. Do not marvel at this; for an hour is coming, in which all who are in the tombs will hear His voice, and will come forth; those who did the good deeds to a resurrection of life, those who committed the evil deeds to a resurrection of judgment.
I personally cannot stand the thought of cremation, but I don’t reject it based on the idea that God can’t raise a cremated body. No body stays together after death. And He can do the impossible.
For a project in my BSN program, I was told to select a culture to study and report on their dietary, familial, health, and death customs. I chose our elder brothers in God, the Jews. Your statement accurately reflects their sentiments toward the human body, living or deceased. They care for their dead bodies with the same love, compassion, and kindness with which they welcome their newly born ones. Maybe except for circumcision, I don’t see any kindness in that for those poor little dudes…
Anyway, that really stuck with me and changed my thinking on what I want for whatever is left of me.
Circumcision served as an outward sign of their Covenant with G-d. I know the practice was adopted by non-Jews as a hygiene measure (now hotly debated) but the original intent of the practice was a sign of fealty and everlasting relationship.
Mine too. I see it as the difference between a deliberate choice made by oneself and something others did to you outside of your control. I do not want to make a deliberate choice to desecrate my body that way and wish to be buried the way Jesus was buried - in a tombs of some sort fully in tact, God willing nobody takes that choice from me against my will.
My biggest fear, no matter how illogical, is being buried alive. I have actually woken up at night thinking about it and nearly hyperventilating. I will be cremated to end all possibility of that happening.
And when we draw our last breath we become an empty vessel. When the breath of life leaves there is no reason for the vessel to exist any longer. The Father put the first breath into it anyway.
God made us from dust. Our bodies turn back to dust even if not cremated… it’s just a difference of time. Many people die by fire, explosion and other means of dismemberment so I don’t get the religious point of view on this.
I understand your point but did you know that in many European countries the graves are only leased for a certain period of time? I just found this out while searching for ancestors in Germany. The graves are completely recycled and resold after 25 to 30 years unless someone renews the lease. Headstones are refurbished and resold. Even in Jesus' time they moved the bones later on into small boxes and reused the tombs. Of course if the sun blows up we will all be cremated at once and this conversation will be a moot point.
In Greece where I have relatives who have passed on, this is the case. A person is buried for as long as it takes the body to naturally decompose; (no embalming ever). After those few years, the bones are removed and stored in vessels inside the cemetery. The Priest is present for this occasion to offer prayers for the soul of the deceased.
This is because there is not enough land in the country. There are a few small cemeteries here and there which initially had enough land to allow burial in a grave without later removal.
I see the logic in both points. The only difference I see is in the actions taken by the living, specifically the choice between allowing the inevitable destruction of the body to happen naturally or to accelerate it intentionally. At least life was able to come from death through decomposition (before they started putting our boxes into concrete vaults), so there’s that.
The Catholic Church once forbid cremation but now permits it and I’ve never looked into the change of heart on that. Y’all have got me curious, now! 🤔
I hate to give voice to it. But can the soul be destroyed by a super-high energy event (nuclear, or intense directed) while in the body? Maybe not, but the question scares the hell out of me.
That's why Jesus said we have to be "born again by the spirit". We are spiritual beings not soul/mind/emotion/character and body. Nothing can destroy the spirit until judgement day and only then will the spirit be saved or destroyed depending on the conviction.
John 3:6 (NKJV) - That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
I know. The cost of a proper traditional funeral, even without the unnecessary bells and whistles is still ridiculous.
One thing you can do is ask for no embalming and a simple casket. It is so much more natural (they never embalm in Europe) and it will save money.
Also, funeral insurance is quite affordable. I was very happy with Mutual of Omaha when my mother passed. They issued the check immediately and we had a respectable, dignified, and simple church funeral and burial.
Yes, a direct burial is what we have been doing for our family members…my mom, niece, husband; and now I've already made arrangements for myself. We always have an open memorial service following a private internment for family. We don’t even have calling hours because it is emotionally and physically exhausting for the family. Our HOPE is in Jesus Christ, and the RESURRECTION. This world is not our home, and our bodies are only temporary.
It has become a trend in my church for viewing to be done in the church before the funeral service rather than the 3 day wakes I was accustomed to. It may be due to cost. I don't know.
I believe the industry term is “direct burial”, from previous experience. For anyone interested in the topic (and it’s a fascinating one), check out the Ask A Mortician channel on YouTube. I think embalming is just big business.
Personally, taking valuable real estate for a cement vault, casket, headstone/monument, etc seems just wrong. One prominent local family has a very tall black marble obelisk with large monumental headstones flanking it. I think ‘tower of Babel’ whenever I see it.
Not a fan of cremation myself but one reason it became popular was the incredible corruption of the funeral industry. People were being routinely fleeced when they were at the emotional low point, in a poor mental state, and rushed to make decisions. Markups on caskets and burials were obscenely high, and the funeral industry used high pressure sales techniques to manipulate people's vulnerability.
The low cost of cremation (comparatively speaking) looks pretty attractive when dealing with this. Another thing that has happened is that funerals are now often weeks after a death rather than within a few days. It gives family members a chance to think things through.
All of this is healthy IMO, as it's a well-deserved backlash against highly unethical practices.
We went with cremation for the simple fact there was not an appropriate place to bury my daughter. We'd moved from where she grew up, she was mostly in school at a place she didn't expect to be much longer, and it didn't make sense to bury her where we are since she had no real association to it. Cremation means we are able to spread her ashes in a place that she loved, and also keep some keepsake ones that I feel honor her presence.
I respect these reasons, but my religious tradition doesn't allow it.
We have funeral insurance come out automatically from our ss checks each month. My mother did the same.
We had a simple but respectable funeral and burial for her a week later. No pressure from funeral home. No extra costs. No embalming (as per my wish) No bells and whistles.
Having been through the funerals of my dad, my late husband and recently my younger brother, I prefer the idea of burial with the body of the deceased intact. My main reason for that is because it’s the example that was provided for us in God’s Word. In addition, too often I’ve noted that people who choose cremation never do anything with the ashes so they sit on a shelf in someone’s home. When that person dies I wonder where the ashes go. I respect everyone’s right to handle their deceased loved ones in the way the they choose but for me there is comfort in knowing where my loved ones remains are until the day that Jesus descends on a cloud and brings all believers home.
I think the increasingly common practices of reserving cremains in homes or even having ashes scattered, is one of the unfortunate aspects of cremation. Burying the dead is one of the corporal works of mercy and one which is too often overlooked or underappreciated. The practice of reserving cremains in people's homes is so prevalent now, that the Catholic church has specific initiatives to encourage proper burial - often offered free of charge. It is worth considering that we would never keep an embalmed corpse in our home...We should also question practices such as fashioning cremains into jewelry too. I say this with all due respect for grieving families. I believe these are all questions worth thinking about deeply.
We buried my mothers ashes under one of the legs of the beautiful small stone bench we bought for others to sit on in the cemetery. My husband, who passed away 23 months ago, will have his ashes buried under another corner leg when I can no longer live in this state and have to go live with one of the children in another state and then when my brother and I pass we will have our ashes buried under the other 2 legs of the bench. That's the plan anyway. None of the rest of the family live here in Oregon but someone throughout time may sit on the bench and think of us with a smile.
My father was cremated and for years he was around the house. Every time I visited id hunt him down ( I think he’s in the front room...). Then when my mom passed she was cremated and she wanted to be buried. So she was cremated and they both were interred. The problem is there’s no family left in the area so there’s no one to visit them.
You visit them in your heart and in your prayers. Their souls are no longer here. Some people feel it important for their sanity to visit a gravesite. I understand.
I have the privilege of singing at all the funeral Masses at our church and from my observations, there is something very significant about having a body present in a casket, at the Mass. The funeral rite starts with a blessing of holy water and the laying of the pall on top of the casket (a task usually performed lovingly by family members and bringing to mind the wrapping of Christ's body in burial clothes). The sprinkling of holy water and the white pall also calls to mind baptism and reminds all present that in Baptism we die with Christ and then rise with Him. It is all very powerful to witness and contemplate.
The laying of the pall gets me every time - it doesn't matter if I know the person or not. Symbols mean so much in the orthodox and Catholic traditions. What an honor for your son to accompany your mother's final journey.
We will be doing a "green burial" at a local green burial forest. Very well maintained and the cost is just a couple thousand. Body wrapped in shroud or container that will compost. Burial is about 3 ft and a small marker allows people to know where you are buried. These cemeteries are increasing in numbers.
The body is considered a sacred vessel from God. From our Jewish origins, we honor it from birth to death. We see how Jesus was taken care of so lovingly after His death.
Ofcourse there are situations that happen. But that is also the reason which lost bodies are so desperately looked for, so they can be honored. Cremation is deliberate, not an unfortunate situation.
Cremation treats the body violently, without the respect due to it as the temple of the Holy Spirit.
My son is in the USAF & his contract is up next year. He asked for a 1 year extension to his contract, which was denied w/ no explanation. So he will muster out (thank God). In other words, under a severe recruitment crisis, they’d rather LOSE an experienced airman that grant a 1 year extension.
Cindi, Air Force Mom here, and our son had his retirement celebration this past weekend...3 years sooner than he expected aiming at a 40+ year career-10 active duty and 30 Guards. Refused the vAx and it’s been paperwork ever since as they refused Religious exemption, natural immunity since he had had that virus, but kept him on with his duties. He finally gave up that fight since he was also fighting with class action law suits with Kallita Air Cargo for his lost pilot’s position of 10 years and setting up his own business, Triple F Aviation. Makes no sense but that’s the reality of our world forevermore.
We thank your son for his service and commitment to serve. But, with what is being passed off as “military” these days, he is blessed they said no. Our son proudly wears his T-shirt we gifted him with which says, “An Air Force Legend Has Retired!” Blessings.
Where will his business be based??? I am to the point of refusing to fly, because of all the jabbed pilots. I’d be willing to make an exception for his new company.
Oma, thank you & esp your son for HIS service. What a shame that he felt he had to retire early but then again, I absolutely hated my son going in under this horrible administration so I’m really glad he’s getting out if he can just stay safe for 1 more year. Hes in Japan, which is just a hop, skip & jump from China, N. Korea & Russia….
Heather, yes, they could have granted a 1 year extension which they denied so if he wanted to stay in, he’d have to sign another 4-year contract & he could be re-stationed anywhere.
My most pressing question is: Jeff, how do you manage to know ALL THE THINGS happening in the entire world every day and then find the time to write about them so humorously and completely? The mind boggles. [*bows reverently 🙇♀️]
Jeff .... and Sundance at CTH. Both of them have inside tracks thru the federal weeds. Both of them share valuable intelligence with us daily. Two blessings for freedom's future.

“I will love You, O Lord, my strength. The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer; My God, my strength, in whom I will trust; My shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.”
Back in 2010, the Lord used verse 2 as a springboard for a study on His character He led me to put together. He opened my eyes to see every word in every verse, to learn the intricate details of who He is. In this verse alone there are 10 facts about Him. Amazing!
Here’s an eye-opening exercise: Read the verse aloud and with each reading emphasize a different word.
Interesting. I have done exactly that in regards to the Lord's Prayer. I have done that so many times and in so many different ways just to try to understand the depth of meaning in His prayer that He instructed us to use and I feel like I'm still learning.
Prayers for your dad, his medical team, & all involved in caring for him. May each find discernment & wisdom from God our Creator who knows each cell in our bodies.
He tells us to ask so I’m asking for a miracle of healing for this fine man who gave us such a man of encouragement for us each day.
I try to keep reminding people of that destruction & violence on the streets all bc “their” guy (woman, sorry) wasn’t elected.
J6 had a few (% wise) bad actors (planted? Probably. Influencers? Definitely.
Tucker showed a few minutes of video from that day revealing a completely different perspective. The “Shaman” calmly walking around, conversing with some sort of police presence- looked like they were guiding him around - & others strolling thru the hallways & rotunda taking photos. The Shaman actually PRAYED while in the House or Senate Chamber. Hardly subversive unless one is an enemy of God.
In all 40,000 hours (surely not minutes, but memory fails me specifically ) the mass media showed same bits (chaos & mayhem) over & over & over stoking the fires of “insurrection.”
Evidently no one but those in black LE uniforms had guns. One of those killed a citizen. Another female citizen was berated w/ a club or stick & died.
Elon would need that chainsaw. Government doesn't just need "trimming" it needs a chainsaw taken to it - as in axing entire Government Agencies. I would suggest starting with "Education", HUD, HSS and DHS. And even "core" Agencies like DOJ (including FBI) might need to be "cancelled" as the only way to eliminate all the Trojan horse implants with "No-Fire" contracts from the Biden Admin. Closing these Agencies and starting again might be the only way to eliminate the Marxists from them.
The problem with the chainsaw analogy is that the saw does not kill the root of the “tree”. I prefer the agencies to be yanked out with the rootball and all assorted branches attached and then plunged into a vat of salt.
Get rid of Homeland Security. How many hours have we spent in line to be bullied and degraded by TSA to keep us safe from terrorism? Well, now the borders are open and the terrorists just strolled through an open border and have iPhones, debit cards and hotels to stay in. No reason for TSA now, the terrorists are here.
He has no idea what is an essential service vs nonessential.
Someone who wants to slice n dice should look to what the whistleblowers and known critics are saying.
The worst are at the top keep the system going. They should be fired first and promote people who have been prevented from promotions due to not dancing to the corrupt pipers. And no cushy pension unless the outgoing hit 20 years just like military have to.
Elon is already to trim some government waste especially after he's already taken billions of our tax dollars for his company. Nothing like letting the fox guard the henhouse.
“COVID VACCINE NOT REQUIRED……….unless we decide at some future point that it is required, in which case we’ll use every manipulative and dishonest tactic imaginable to threaten, pressure and extort you into taking it or losing your livelihood……JOIN TODAY!”
No one wants to risk their life and sanity for this government and the military brass traitors. Especially white people. They have been demonized by these same so called leaders.
These coming elections are not all that they APPEAR to be. Martin Armstrong, Michael Yon and now Conspiracy Sarah are pointing this out. I find her logic interesting and compelling. Check her out........................................
Good morning everyone. I just want to say thank you. I really get a lift from C&C and I really feel buoyed by all your Bible quotes!!! I look forward to your comments every day!
I have a relative who is in the National Guard, they have been deployed to Romania since last, late winter. They are scheduled to return home next month but they have already been informed that once back in the states they might be deployed in anticipation of civil unrest related to the November elections.
If the word "war" was replaced with "money laundering" (compliments of the military industrial complex), then perhaps these conflicts wouldn't be such headline worthy.
The Gulf Money Laundering.
The Afghanistan Money Laundering.
The Ukraine Money Laundering.
The monetary drivers (laundering) of modern day war (even WWI and WWII) are fundamentally no different than the recent plandemic. Billions and billions spent with very little oversight. A trough of guaranteed revenue for swine in the Big Club.
Yeah... enlist in the military and get your great big signing bonus. And then, when they re-introduce the mandates and you get kicked out... you have to pay back the 50K. A lot of people don't know this when they enlist. I am a veteran and have seen several of my friends have to pay back their signing bonus. Don't fall for it!
Yes I am so disgusted with how the military has treated people, between the mandates, DEI and the proxy wars, that I would never encourage my kids to enlist at this point.
One of the best sentences Jeff ever wrote:

The sweet savor of burning flesh is pleasing to the Lord.
Wonderful Nancy… I can’t wait for that city, and it reminds us also to not forget “to share with others” for with such sacrifices God is pleased! 🥰

As an aside, this may be one of the reasons some Christian traditions still prohibit cremation, which has become so popular in our culture.
I personally cannot stand the thought of cremation, but I don’t reject it based on the idea that God can’t raise a cremated body. No body stays together after death. And He can do the impossible.
If God cannot (or will not) raise a cremated body, those early saints whom the Romans burned alive will never receive salvation.
I agree. I think the reason for not allowing it to be done *deliberately* is the purposeful destruction of the body which is considered a holy vessel.
Anyway, that is my (Christian) religion.
For a project in my BSN program, I was told to select a culture to study and report on their dietary, familial, health, and death customs. I chose our elder brothers in God, the Jews. Your statement accurately reflects their sentiments toward the human body, living or deceased. Thank you for that. Remember the respect which was given to Jesus's body.

I do not want to make a deliberate choice to desecrate my body that way and wish to be buried the way Jesus was buried - in a tombs of some sort fully in tact, God willing nobody takes that choice from me against my will.
According to your belief, I think that would fall outside the realm of deliberate choice. Kinda like being caught in a fire or run over by a train…
My biggest fear, no matter how illogical, is being buried alive. I have actually woken up at night thinking about it and nearly hyperventilating. I will be cremated to end all possibility of that happening.
What exactly are your fears? Unable to breathe? Blackness? Unable to move?
Would it not be reminiscent of returning to the womb of your mother?
Absolutely. He can raise us from ash or natural decay, as he made us from scratch.
Ashes to ashes. I don't see why it matters.
Believe in him and the body will be reformed to perfect in heaven.
We're just vessels here.
And when we draw our last breath we become an empty vessel. When the breath of life leaves there is no reason for the vessel to exist any longer. The Father put the first breath into it anyway.
Aren’t we supposed to return to dust of the earth?
The bible says we get new bodies. 2Cor 5:1-6.
I am counting on that because I intend to use this one to its fullest extent. 😁
Lol.
So we HOPE INDEED. Amen 🙏
I'm going to be cremated and I'm just fine with it.
Ashes to ashes
I am too, but it’s interesting to hear others reasoning behind their beliefs.
I do believe that if one has a strong belief such as that they should not waver.
I would ask those who believe this if they treat their body as the temple it should be while they are living (to the best of their ability)?!?!
It is what motivates me to care for the vessel in which His spirit dwells.
Agree 100%. You just said what I was thinking
And spread across the Continental Divide the most beautiful and untouched by man.
God made us from dust. Our bodies turn back to dust even if not cremated… it’s just a difference of time. Many people die by fire, explosion and other means of dismemberment so I don’t get the religious point of view on this.
The body is considered a holy vessel. Though it is often destroyed, it should not be deliberately destroyed.
Jesus's body was not destroyed. It was lovingly taken care of.
I think this is the logic and I am good with it.
Cremation seems so distasteful to me personally.

I am not RC, but I believe that I read that it was only tolerated for the sake of cultural sensitivity to those RC converts in places like India.
I also remember reading that it was therefore meant to be a rare exception. I may be mistaken.
And then there is 'evaporate' by a nuclear weapon ... as in WWII/Japan. ???
😣damn 🤣
I hate to give voice to it. But can the soul be destroyed by a super-high energy event (nuclear, or intense directed) while in the body? Maybe not, but the question scares the hell out of me.
That's why Jesus said we have to be "born again by the spirit". We are spiritual beings not soul/mind/emotion/character and body. Nothing can destroy the spirit until judgement day and only then will the spirit be saved or destroyed depending on the conviction.
John 3:6 (NKJV) - That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
I think you nailed it.....religious point. We are spirit not body when we are "born again of the spirit."
The reason so many choose cremation is because of cost.
I’m
I do understand and share your pain.
We did the same when my daughter died.
I am sorry for your great loss. 🙏
Life changing club we are in. Thank you.
I am sorry for your great loss. 🙏
Thank you, AngelaK
We buried our parents ashes in the burial plot at their church.
Yes! That is so beautiful! 🙏
I am Orthodox, and seeing the body present infront of the altar during the funeral service is quite spiritually touching.
We do all the same which you described. Holy oil anointing on the deceased, incense, white pall, etc.
Having beloved male figures help carry the casket out from the church is also quite touching.
My mother and my son were extremely close. When he helped carry her casket out of the church as a pall bearer, I almost broke down.
The laying of the pall gets me every time - it doesn't matter if I know the person or not. Symbols mean so much in the orthodox and Catholic traditions. What an honor for your son to accompany your mother's final journey.
❤️🙏❤️
P.S. I should have capitalized O in Orthodox. Mea culpa.
We will be doing a "green burial" at a local green burial forest. Very well maintained and the cost is just a couple thousand. Body wrapped in shroud or container that will compost. Burial is about 3 ft and a small marker allows people to know where you are buried. These cemeteries are increasing in numbers.
That is awesome.
What about all of the souls lost at sea? The sea water will rapidly dissolve everything from the human body.
Will you please explain to me in this verse what it says about cremation in here? I am genuinely confused. With respect and love… 🙏🏽💖🙏🏽
Please read above comments.
I always thought that it was bc they didn't BELIEVE that GOD was ABLE to reconstitute an ashen body and give it life.
I personally would choose cremation instead of being eaten by worms and decompose....
Amen!
He is on LinkedIn - Mike Fraine.
Me too!!!
So it was 4-6 year extension or nothing? Stupidity knows no bounds!
Heather, yes, they could have granted a 1 year extension which they denied so if he wanted to stay in, he’d have to sign another 4-year contract & he could be re-stationed anywhere.
I believe they call that Govt. MISmanagement.
.....better for him, anyway.
Our govt at work ...
Mine is done in 2 years, and he cannot wait to get out.
The US Military is a weapons supplier. They're people looking for sales and marketing pros
I am a sucker for dog pictures. This fellow is a good one!
Thanks man yeah if you throw him several objects he'll retrieve them and bring them back all in one delivery! He makes a taco with the frisbee 😂
I am glad I spoke out. Because that makes sense out of the picture. One pretty smart dog to figure that out. Incredible.
Our dog is still trying to figure out the two-fer 😂
Unreal
Wow!! The brass is unfathomable.
Unfortunately they have already shown us they are mentally ill. Satan is their master. So obvious .
*than grant
My most pressing question is: Jeff, how do you manage to know ALL THE THINGS happening in the entire world every day and then find the time to write about them so humorously and completely? The mind boggles. [*bows reverently 🙇♀️]
C&C is great, let’s hope Jeff can keep our minds boggled for years to come
Jeff .... and Sundance at CTH. Both of them have inside tracks thru the federal weeds. Both of them share valuable intelligence with us daily. Two blessings for freedom's future.
Oh! And I hope I can locate your response.
Notifications do notify of any likes or comments but when that notification is tapped it merely takes me to the blog itself NOT the SPECIFIC LOCATION. Argggghhh!
I’m dealing with this as we speak, Susan. If I don’t reply, it’s not because I don’t love you or can’t come up with something intelligible.
I have the same problem sometimes… strange that occasionally it takes me to the reply, but usually not 🤔
Conservative Treehouse a/k/a The Last Refuge.
Agree! It’s hit or miss, and usually miss.
Please clarify for me; who or what is Sundance at CTH?
He's referring to this site: https://theconservativetreehouse.com/
It's a gift from God. Wisdom, discernment and communication- much like a prophet
The guy needs to take Sunday off and have another day be just for paying readers.
“I will love You, O Lord, my strength. The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer; My God, my strength, in whom I will trust; My shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.”
Psalms 18:1-2 NKJV
https://bible.com/bible/114/psa.18.1-2.NKJV
Always learning because in Christ there is always more. ❤️
We meditate on the word day and night. :)
So true.
I became aware of the Church of England ‘s contemporary Lord’s Prayer. I love the simplicity.
Thank you
❤️
Think I got all 10.
Lord. Strength. Rock. Fortress. Deliverer. God. Trust. Shield. Salvation. Stronghold.
Let me know Teacher Janice. :)
😃 I messed up a couple of times, so there’s that!
This is great.
I keep finding 8… I even read it in the version you use… I will continue.
He is LORD.
Rock.
Fortress.
Deliverer.
God.
Refuge.
Shield.
Horn of salvation.
Stronghold.
Oops, sorry, I had counted rock twice. But it is a good word.
I should have scrolled down before I posted. LOL!
Actually I should have added trustworthy. There's 10! :D
Prayers for your dad, his medical team, & all involved in caring for him. May each find discernment & wisdom from God our Creator who knows each cell in our bodies.
He tells us to ask so I’m asking for a miracle of healing for this fine man who gave us such a man of encouragement for us each day.
“we should be asking how much less tax money the entire federal government could spend.”
I couldn’t agree morning
No new spending...and cut most of the current spending
For anyone who hasn’t yet seen Brandon Straka’s new Walkaway video, it’s the BEST MESSAGING out there on the Democrat crime syndicate.
It already has around 4 million views.
Here’s a link to the video on X:

Trump's inauguration day violence side by side with J6 is amazing.
I want to see J6 footage next to the footage of when Trump took office. Recall, there was quite a bit of destruction in DC that day.
Brandon Straka has been put through the ringer!
He's another one they've tried to destroy.
An amazing video! Oh, to see it run before, during and after MSM news hour!!
So grateful for all the things C&C-ers share that are new to me--thank-you!
Wow! This video is so powerful.
Elon will need the Forest-Clearing Machinery of Avatar to clear the weeds as the Swamp is being drained
The problem with the chainsaw analogy is that the saw does not kill the root of the “tree”. I prefer the agencies to be yanked out with the rootball and all assorted branches attached and then plunged into a vat of salt.
I still get a kick out of this video of Milei in Argentina. “Afuera!” 😂😂😂

And, while we’re at it, let’s make some money from the soon to be unused federal office buildings!
No one needs office space anymore.
Everyone learned that they can work just as well
from home in their pajamas.
DHS and Education first!!!!
Aren’t these “agencies” unconstitutional in the first place??
I believe that is the only way to cleanse those who are actually wolves in sheep's clothing. They are anti-American and are drunk on power!
The Secret Service needs to be torched and replaced with some former military that were sacked for refusing vaccines!
They need to cut the USDA, FDA, NSA, TSA, CDC...
all of the Alphabet agencies net to be cut way back or eliminated.
Elon is already to trim some government waste especially after he's already taken billions of our tax dollars for his company. Nothing like letting the fox guard the henhouse.
Correction:

Ouch. ...State of emergency. Their 21c mechanism... Thanks for posting.
Good morning everyone. I just want to say thank you. I really get a lift from C&C and I really feel buoyed by all your Bible quotes!!! I look forward to your comments every day!
We love having you here!
I have a relative who is in the National Guard, they have been deployed to Romania since last, late winter. They are scheduled to return home next month but they have already been informed that once back in the states they might be deployed in anticipation of civil unrest related to the November elections.
Of course the Dems always have their “army” of chaos and destruction ready to riot when needed.
Either way, the color revolution cadres will light it up…bet on it.
Interesting!
Wow.
What state? My son in MT National Guard. When questioned earlier about deployments - said they have heard nothing.
That’s ‘International Guard’ now.
Maybe the moral of the Walz crash is the press shouldn’t be parading with the Dems, literally or metaphorically.
Liberal press is a car wreck for sure!
Even a discerning eye can't tell where the Political Campaign vehicles ended and the Media shuttles began.
Great opportunity to spin Harris-Walz into reformers. Somebody like HuffPost should run this headline: “Walz Wrecks Washington Propaganda Parade.”
Great point!
DEI drivers?
If the word "war" was replaced with "money laundering" (compliments of the military industrial complex), then perhaps these conflicts wouldn't be such headline worthy.
The Gulf Money Laundering.
The Afghanistan Money Laundering.
The Ukraine Money Laundering.
The monetary drivers (laundering) of modern day war (even WWI and WWII) are fundamentally no different than the recent plandemic. Billions and billions spent with very little oversight. A trough of guaranteed revenue for swine in the Big Club.
I like this. We need to own our language again and use it precisely to bring light to darkness.
Remember when Monty Python predicted the outcome for Ukraine? The Black Knight https://youtu.be/ZmInkxbvlCs
not to mention resource theft.
Yeah... enlist in the military and get your great big signing bonus.
As retired military, I would not encourage anyone to join today's screwed up, pronoun using, trans military.
Same here Kathleen. We have agreed on this in many posts. I try and discourage any young person from joining.
And it is so bittersweet. The military provided me with so many opportunities and experiences.
It is a shame at what it has become.
