The Legislature was to make laws and the President was to see that the laws were carried out as ascribed to the Constitution and amendments. Sadly, the Congress has become nothing more than a money machine, beholden only to their lobbyists. The present resident is nothing more than a walking potato, while the huge bureaucracy cranks out laws and regulations with abandonment.
