Luckily, abortion isn’t anywhere in Trump’s agenda for the next four years, and it’s going to be extremely difficult to make it a federal issue ever again anyway, with the way Roe v Wade was overturned.

Remember that RDKJR is a coalition member not a conservative. A coalition is not a marriage.

He was brought in for MAHA as to food and environment.

It’s a state issue now.

Yes, abortion was always only a state issue. Roe V Wade was a mistake. The federal government always oversteps the constitution.

Abortion is none of the business of the government. It’s personal. The government should not be involved.

And especially no government should be paying for any abortion ever. Abortion is none of the government’s business.

Abortion should be private. The government should not be involved whatsoever, and especially should not be paying for it. Not the federal government which has no jurisdiction and not the state government.

Be prepared to be a bit disappointed. He won't go full send like you would hope because this is a confirmation hearing and he wants to appear moderate to those on the fence. So you'll he'll assure the Senators that he's not anti-vax. I know he really is very suspicious of all vaccines but he won't say that during a confirmation hearing, and that's okay I expect it.

These hearings are nothing but grandstanding opportunities for the interlocutors. We never get to actually learn anything because then the Senators miss a chance to sound indignant.

I am concerned that he will be the sacrificial pig for both parties. I am praying for him that his morning prayer to God for 19 years will be answered and he will be in charge of HHS!
