It's a good read and touches on all of those interventions that were pushed on people - masks, shutdowns, lockdowns, and experimental/rushed drugs masquerading as vaccines - even the general idea of a "real" vaccination effort. They were all known to be bad ideas and pushed for a variety of bad reasons, with that "do anything" mentality adding in quite heavily, followed by "I don't want to lose my job" from the so-called experts. :(
I think there was a lot of "Ooooh, this is so exciting and different, and I am somehow suddenly in a privileged position of power, it's rather delish!" Not that a single one of them would admit that they got off on the crisis, on the power-for-power's sake...
