I think a great many simply believe the narrative. They are all in, they don't realize it was a grift, but signed up, and thus as the tide of opinion goes back out...they still remain adamant because the conditions upon which the narrative were predicated upon have not changed. There are still vulnerable people. There is still a disease out there. And masks and vaccines are still mythological talismans.
And the true believers keep pumping up the propaganda machine "even still."
They are the rubes...and now they rule. They will "yes and" the grifters into obscurity...and those that exploited the crisis will continue to profit off of it. But they at least do have some semblance of perception/reality to realize they are the ones in the weeds and their "tribe" has gone home.
True perhaps for willing & duped neighbors, but these guys are corrupt to the core. Guilty of murder, graft, mayhem, fraud. Follow the money. Note their exploitable deviancies —
Then,
First: bring out the stocks & pillories. Place them on public display & make them witness the sights and stories of their countless victims.
Next: Very public trial.
Next: Lawful sentence—whatever justice metes. Yes, capital for some.
