Inflation is going to rip American's faces off when all of those dollars no one wants anymore come rushing home to buy up anything that isn't nailed down because our politicians and alphabet soup agencies destroyed them and blundered both the world reserve currency and petro-dollar status in the process. (This is by design—America is the only thing standing in the way of the NWO)

Speaking of treasonous politicians and shoving them aside to fix our country:

“We can not solve our problems with the same level of thinking that created them” —Albert Einstein

The problems we face cannot be solved at the ballot box. The vote counting system is called dominion - as in dominion over the voting system. Get it? They put it right in our faces.

"Those that cast the votes decide nothing. Those that count the votes decide everything." —Stalin

Even if by some mircale the voting system were not rigged, relying on a politician to solve our problems is a fools errand. They are whores at best (the pay to play nature of our political system requires this) and butchers, pedophiles, and thieves at worst. It is far past time for us to save ourselves because no one is coming to our rescue.

All of this money, time, energy, and attention being wasted on this popularity contest circus known as "elections" would be far better spent constructing a fortress of self-sufficiency and then reforming the system at the local level. These solid foundations will then be your platform to reform your way up the heiarchy.

It is time we stopped falling victim to this:

Most people will not act to secure their future, so long as they feel they have an advocate fighting for them in the public or political arenas—The hope, spectacle, exhalation, and giddy anticipation disarms them. This is why Republican vs Democrat equals divide and conquer. The human mind is binary. Our thought process can often be boiled down into terms (often ultimatums) of – this or that – and our adversaries understand - very well - the art of this war.

And started being more like this:

"The best way to predict the future is to take matters into your own hands, believe in yourself, and create it!" —Dennis Gabor

I agree with you for the most part, but I don't think we have to divide things into either-or all the time, either. I was watching a Defend Florida election integrity Zoom (or whatever) call recently, and I was struck by this very issue - some of them say our elections should *only* be one day, declared a national holiday (which the U.S. doesn't have any of; we have Federal holidays, when the feds get paid not to work), using paper ballots only, hand-counted. Some or all of that might be very desirable, but Florida's first 2024 primary is in March, less than 7 months from now, so changing the laws in various states, or federally, between now and March 2024 just isn't going to happen. We can either sulk that the laws shouldn't be so or we can operate under the current laws as best we can to win in 2024 and *also* work to make the longer-term changes people would like to see. In your example, we either work on election integrity and security or we work on self-sufficiency and then local politics. Why is it posed as a duality at all? Can't people 'walk and chew gum,' as Obama said, about campaigning and addressing a putative emergency simultaneously? What if we already have done reasonable preparations and already work on the local level? Are we supposed to wait around until everybody else has caught up and then think about maybe using the gift of our small-r republican form of government, bequeathed to us by the lives, the fortunes, and the sacred honor of our founding generation? Re-read the indictment portion of the Declaration of Independence to see that, even without that gift, they used every means available to them to influence national-level politics against an actual *king* before giving up on that avenue. See what they suffered before deciding that more such attempts wouldn't help; it's astounding. Until we exert some small portion of the effort they did, over a similar time period (boy, are we impatient; but the communists aren't!), using this amazing gift of our highest law, the Constitution, lawyers like Jeff to help us bring suits, and the same at state and local levels, then we don't even deserve to win at the end. I've long advocated for people to just pick one thing they care about and will therefore happily work on, from local to national level, and then do it. If more would do that, as so many on the Left actually do, we'd be in much better shape and wouldn't all be so gloomy about our future prospects.

Well said. I definitely agree that we shouldn’t look to a politician or anyone else really, to “save” us, but also agree with you that we can attack from many different fronts and are more likely to see victory that way.

I think we need people pushing from all the angles. It helps to have the "either-or" folks pushing for the most extreme options. I think of a Michael Malice in this sense: It's all broken and silly until there is no government control of major aspects of our lives. These hard core views open the Overton window.

Concurrently, we can have people working for reform and best alternative solutions within the existing framework. Obviously we need the people working for the best alternative options or we're going to lose and thereby lose ground in the process, making serious reform or paradigm-shifting legal changes even less likely.

But, I think we also need the people who don't compromise on the desired end goal and won't let it go. It can be annoying b/c you keep thinking "that's not feasible in the current reality." But, I think their stating it as the only acceptable end state helps move it in that direction.

Like getting rid of Roe v Wade. Who wouldn't have thought that was going to happen?

Expand full comment

I would like to think that was done because it was long overdue but the timing and the “leaked” summation, (never happened ever before, and they never managed to find the leaker), suggest this was a planned ending. Several states, like Michigan, within weeks of the conclusion had signed petitions in place to be put on the November ballot. Constitutional amendments that not only broadened the scope of abortion up to and after birth, no parental consent or knowledge needed and minor gender reassignment included. The language of the ballot was so murky and had so many misspellings and grammatical errors, it never should have made it to the ballot. I have been a signature gatherer for petitions and I know it takes months to get the required amounts and you’d better have a third more for the ones they will throw out for errors. They had enough signatures in 6 weeks! Even with errors a Liberal judge allowed it on the ballot. Even with all that, I am sure it did not pass, but somehow it did. I detest Roe v Wade but this was done for evil, not for good.

💬 Why is it posed as a duality at all?

The answer is smack dab toward the end of @TriTorch's text 😏:

🗨 The human mind is binary. Our thought process can often be boiled down into terms (often ultimatums) of – this or that ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Expand full comment

Not as a criticism to Fla Mom, but her ending sentence recognizes the binary of the human mind. Pick one and work on it.

Expand full comment

I think she meant that if we choose something we’re more passionate about, we will be more inclined to work on it. Doesn’t mean we can’t work on the other things at the same time. But for Pete’s sake, pick something! And start working! might be her message.

Expand full comment

I think she did, too. I also think her last statement points back to that binary. It is a really hard thing to wrap your mind around.

I heard a pro-life speaker once answer someone who made an accusation that "While you're pursuing the end of abortion, you're not doing x, y, and z for women" and the prolife speaker said, "We don't come after oncologists for not working to cure MS." This is all paraphrased. Maybe I made the quote up myself out of whole cloth, but I seem to remember it pretty vividly. Anyway, most people do well to find something they're passionate about and pursue it with singlemindedness. If each of us did that, I don't think we'd be in this mess we're in now. And the mess we're in now is quite overwhelming - "Where do I begin, so that I can make a difference, too?" Too many options!

The comment to me was written highly judgemental - “watch these people try to pawn… take their $8000 bike…” - many people (we for one don’t have the extra to save like this) save and save and save to get a nice toy that brings them joy and adds vakue to their life. That’s all I’m saying. I n ow you were just trying to shed light on the comment… and I know it was written toward the arsonist… but also it is a general statement against any who would own an “expensive toy”. Thanks Peter.

No worries. I get it. A lot of us do save for some nice thing we want - a bow, a bike, a boat, a console, a sewing machine, etc. I still don't think this was written as "nobody should own a nice luxury item". The story yesterday and today highlighted this guy who was an arsonist and just happened to own a very nice bike. More power to him for buying something he likes and uses. But the destruction of property isn't cool and this was just one thing to call out once he was tracked down - and likely _because_ he had the nice bike and tracked his rides. (and was foolish enough to break the law not just once, but twice)

In LA, bike lanes are another war on those without means. And they add to pollution because the old trucks and cars are idling as they wait to go around the bicyclists. I say this as someone who loves bike riding. There are some cities in SoCal that can accommodate bikes, but not most. It is another gift to the wealthy who want to sweat on a bike because they do not do manual labor.

SanFran like downtown LA, Long Beach, Santa Monica, and even parts of BH is perfectly suited for bikes. A bike was my main form of transportation for many years including my time in Long Beach. Nothing is better than navigating streets with a bike, the freedom as you state, and the knowledge you are getting healthy as you travel. But I am referencing LA County which has 10m people with clogged streets often bursting with tired cranky drivers. Many of these tired people do the back-breaking work - on the cheap as a friend who moved to a state that still has strong unions in construction has discovered - these people should not have to their drive times increased because of bike lanes. I feel the same about subways. Nothing makes me happier than navigating a subway in NY or a European City. I was an advocate for them in LA until I read the arguments put forth by a group that buses were much more helpful to the working poor. Add to that the horrendous overruns that always accompany the metros, and I no longer support them. And, considering, that my last trip on our subway put the fear of God in me, no easy feat, any support for travel deep below the ground is a no-no.

The old Soviet State was never reformed. It crashed. It was leveled by its systemic failures. The new Russia was forged out of heed to basic necessity which could no longer be swept under the rug. The come back on a new basis of the Russian Federation (reversion to normal, to tradition, to a market economy) took a full twenty years. And one wonders what would have happened if Putin had not come along, restored order, and stopped the subversion of Russia by economic proxies from within by the Woke Larcenous West.

There seems to be a pivot going on now in the West and particularly self-evident in the United States. It seems to be orchestrated from on high with a lot of coordinated effort. Imagine a world where most people believed in their hearts and minds that they have little to no use whatsoever for governments, their murderous institutions, or their fascistic big corporations (what I call quasi-governmental institutions).

What would happen if they held an election and nobody showed up?

... And in no way does a "free-enterprise" system include the liability shielding, rent-seeking, monopoly granting, and barriers to entry against competition that plagues the business sphere globally. Libertarians make me pull my hair out sometimes and I'm shouting back, "THEY AREN'T PRIVATE COMPANIES!"

Private companies: sole proprietorships and partnerships, with full, joint, and several personal liability for every act of the fictitious business entity. The 'just a lawyer' around here can explain the distinctions.

For more than a couple of hundred years the big worry was the incestuous relationship between the church and state...yet now we have an equal or worse league, and that's the fascism of the state and big corp. And ironically enough, observe how they turn science into "The Science," a faith-based religion with its commandments and catechisms...and it's more accurate to refer to the voters and customers as "the congregation."

The people hold the power, despite what government at every level desperately wants you to believe. Town councils can do nothing without the apathy of the populace. Fixing our problems, however, requires up-to-the minute civic participation from a critical mass of citizens. You have to be all over the legislators and enforcers, you have to put every single thing they do under a microscope constantly, and you have to remove them if they do not execute the will of the people. From here, you work your way to county, state, and federal levels.

All of our problems stem from apathy. For too long we've sat back, relaxed, and let the government police itself, and by doing so have given the wolves the keys to the hen house while naively expecting - in our blissful ignorance - for the chickens to be in good hands...

Those chickens have been and are being slaughtered, and the time has come for us to put those wolves in prison and to take back what is ours.

I worked our city elections in April. Small, rural town. The mayor was unchallenged (3rd term, he's almost invisible) and 2 (out of 4) city council seats. The 2 city council seat challengers did NOTHING, didn't even put out one sign, no FB page - I mean, NOTHING! Everyone was asking ME about the challengers! After 7 days of early voting and 7am-7pm election day, a grand total of 127 people cast a ballot. There are 2,700 registered, eligible voters in this town! There's a large group that constantly b!tch on FB about how "badly" the town is ran, who runs it, how "bad" the police are, etc, etc, etc. I think there's a large link between people "letting off steam" on social media that prevents "in real life" action.

As much as we laud the spirit and substance of what he conveys to “Benito & Th Board”, his very same “manner” was replicated last night until almost midnight during a contentious Temecula Valley School Board meeting, causing me and many others to wince at how childish we all look when anger is our only ally. (In this case, The lgbtq factions were the ones who relied upon tirades. The few conservatives on hand were mostly polite and respectful.) In the end, I almost cried at the manifestation of a deeply riven culture, so animalistic and uncivilized. School board members should be at the top of all our prayer lists (in hopes that schools would just die so we can rebuild them all from scratch).

Expand full comment

But I'll bet anger isn't the only ally. Truth is, as is doing the right thing. If I'm angry, it's because someone is attempting to stop the truth and/or attempting to control or manipulate me. Anger is a very powerful thing when directed correctly. The other issue is sometimes anger is the only thing people in charge will listen to.

Being polite and respectful is fine, but if that does not work, I see nothing wrong with being furious and letting that fury show. I guarantee you those words last longer in the minds of those who hear them than the polite ones, and if we're dealing with something as serious as corrupt, bought school boards screwing with children's minds, I think anger with them is not a bad way to go.

I see where you are coming from and agree that acting like an animal is not the answer, but also feel we need to be angry at those who wish us and future generations harm. Their behavior is not ok.

Expand full comment

We know that our anger or indignation is righteous when it is directed toward that which angers God Himself! And that includes the unGodly curriculum inflicted on children in public schools. We should be angry by taking a strong stance against evil and the things or ideas that are in opposition to Jesus. If we don’t stand up and protect our children who will???

Ellen, Four Winds, Julie, Lisa, TriTorch, Willing Spirit--On so many issues which we have been demeaned, marginalized, dehumanized, attacked for the truths which guide us, by those who behave with impunity, the anger emerges. Certainly 3+ years and longer where any truth we posses has been censored or suppressed, which is still the case, there is righteous anger (Thanks Julie) that comes out. Thank you TriTorch for "riven culture--perfect descriptor.

I listened to the excellent Tucker Carlson interview of Col. Douglas McGregor yesterday. I doubt many people picked this up about the 18 minute mark when Col Douglas was answering Tucker's question about Victoria Nuland. He said he suspects some of these people (Neocons) have ancestry in the Ukraine. This was a very subtle way of telling anyone who is awake of the existence of the Khazarian Mafia that this is who is behind it all. Very impressed he both knows, and said it out loud, but in a very subtle way. As I said, I have listened to everything I find of his, but this is the first time he has said this.

When they hauled him back into the boat, he was so rigid, they couldn’t pry his jaws apart to administer CPR. He was dead before they got back to shore. Official cause of death, drowning, because there was water in his lungs. His mom knows it was the death shot.
