Inside The Bug are usually letters like "GCC/IBT" inside of it (photo link above).
Usually most local elections, i.e. city council, county commission, county assessor, election clerk and recorder, elected judges, etc, are 'nonpartisan.' No D or R after their names. So how to tell the difference without having to look them all up? When even the campaign mailings and door hangers don't say R or D but sound like your kind of candidate, hit all the right notes?
The Bug. The union 'Bug' appears on all D candidate printed materials, even yard signs. No matter where you live. That's the tell. And no matter how much the rank and file union members support Trump, and some leaders have been grudgingly supportive, the down ballot local candidates aren't him and the D candidates still get union support, The Bug printed.
Local elections touch us closest. They're the ones who mandated masks, closed businesses, mandated vax passports, COUNT THE VOTES, remove parents from public hearings at school boards for speaking out to protect children from LBGTQ indoctrination, house and provide assistance to illegal immigrants and otherwise impose every single Obama/Biden/Harris policy they can at the local level.
Learn to look for The Bug on all campaign literature, signs. That's who NOT to vote for. And share this tip from an old campaign pro with others. Happy voting!
EDIT: Note my new comment at bottom of this thread I just added about my latest campaign mailer received, another version of "The Bug" is shared in the image links.
NO! Unions, Realtors, are signals to run away from! To oppose! They are ALL corrupted, a part of the system most C&C readers oppose. Not all members. But ALL leaders. Unless they took principled PUBLIC stands against BLM/Defund the Police/Antifa, Pandemic tyranny, voter fraud, illegal immigration, transinsanity then they are a part of the destruction of our nation, and your own community. It doesn't matter that they may have offended "independents" in your community if they had spoken out, that these issues aren't central and core to police, firefighting, selling real estate issues that the endorsing organizations allegedly stand for. Leadership values involve taking risks to popularity. Going along to get along isn't a value that carries any weight for an endorsement to matter.
If they don't stand with principles against those destructive issues before they seek your vote, before their endorsements are supposed to mean something then they don't stand with you and your values then their endorsements aren't worth jackshite. Period! Stop making excuses. Or be the battered spouse in an abusive relationship and make excuses for how much your abuser really loves you, means well, is trying to get better. Stop. Just stop. And think. And use the small signs, like the Union Bug to help you in absence of any other contrary information. Endorsements are bullshite from organizations that don't stand for freedom.
Are you applying this to just national unions/ candidates? I ask bc I serve on the committee for a local city council candidate that is everything we C&C’ers look in an elected official. She has earned endorsement by both city fire and police unions as well as county fire (IAFF) union. I would hate for someone to mistakenly vote for her very liberal opponent just bc she has union support.
Local. This is your ‘tell’ for local. The Union Bug. A hard, fast rule. No exceptions. If they have the “Bug” on their printed campaign materials they are a Democrat. Which is important to know in local nonpartisan races. No matter how conservative they sound, no matter how C&C they sound.
This is how you get local officials in deep red North Carolina mountains who ban rescue missions for not following FEMA protocols. How illegals in deep red rural Ohio are given sanctuary by the “conservative” mayor who takes in 30,000 illegals into a 80,000 population rural town and opens up the public treasury to provide benefits for them.
Local is where these people hide. They use the language of conservatism to win elections in deep red jurisdictions. The conservative language they use is the con.
The Bug. It’s the tell. And any candidate with the Bug on their printed campaign materials will govern as a D on the most important issues. Throwing you a bone or two for the conservative checklist to keep you believing they’re one of you. They are masters of deceit.
Then I would respectfully disagree with you on this. I know my candidate. She is a personal friend and lover of our constitution and the original intent our founders had for it. It was her answers regarding our constitution and its original intent that won her the union and realtor association support.
On a side note- IAFF nationally has opted to not endorse a presidential candidate for the first time. Even though during meetings a majority of its membership voted to endorse Trump.
You can disagree and say that the sun doesn't rise in the east. Or that fish don't need water. But it won't make you right.
Perhaps read the words I use more carefully. My replies to you and DG. And even if your local police/fire union are truly Patriots and supporting her that isn't synonymous with having the GCC/IBT Bug printed on the campaign materials. Focus on that distinction, not the broader words your own mind inserted into my comment about union. The Bug. It's the Bug. Do you understand?
Your 'feelings' don't matter. And don't supersede my two decades+ of running local political campaigns. Ignore my cautions at your own peril. Because you like a candidate you met in person. So do Hochul, Whitmore, Harris , Biden, Obama supporters. They're charismatic, make you feel good, feel your pain. And will stab you in your back. And cut off your infant son's penis to call him a girl.
Have you checked to see if she has the “Bug” on her material? If the Democrat money is paying for her signs and the rest, you will know who has her loyalty.
No. None of the unions who’ve endorsed her have sent mailers on her behalf. They’ve done some social media posts. And had members hold signs at polling locations. The closest thing to a pac that’s donated is the local realtors association. And it was a small amount.
And if her opponent is very liberal then they will have The Bug. If both have The Bug on their campaign materials then you have two D's facing off. And pick your best. But know what you have.
Even "R's" do it. Have you seen the John Cornyn video (US Senator from Texas seeking to replace McConnell as Senate leader) of him walking into the Capitol, met with freedom protestors about some issue or other I've since forgotten, started quoting Ayn Rand, mocking them with his proficiency in the language of freedom, as he went on to Whip and vote for the tyrannical sorts of policy his Ayn Rand quote was intended to show as tyrannical. They study us, our language, practice it, deliver it. Then they go back to their elegant gilded private club lives and laugh at how ignorant the masses really are, how easily deceived we are by reading lines from a script in a play. So, no, it's not just D's. It's R's even from deep red localities and states like Texas. The attacks on Texas AG Ken Paxton were from fake R's who are in Cornyn's universe.
Thanks for posting this comment. I think it's a mistake to leap to the conclusion that a candidate should be defeated because their campaign materials were produced by union labor. IMHO blanket anti-union thinking is what used to make the Republican Party so unappealing to many of us.
It ABSOLUTELY is the rule. Without exception. The Bug. It's all about The GCC/IBT Bug. It's a symbol of union *leadership.* Not to be confused with rank-and-file union members.
I worked these campaigns for two decades. I know the game inside and out.
It's not even that the materials are printed at a union shop - they'll take R money as well as D, could even do the print for both candidates. It's the inclusion of The Bug on the D materials that's not on the R materials they print. No, they don't put The Bug on all materials they print. But the ones they are printed on are D's. Who WILL lock you down, force masks on your face, poisons in your arms, impose preferred pronouns on your lips, indoctrinate your children with Marxism, import illegals to your town. No. Matter. What. They. Say. Running for election.
No better tell. Or you can stay blind and ignorant.
*Note: R's like Cheney and Dewine won't have The Bug on their printed campaign materials. But will do all the above to you as well. So an R is no guarantee, either.
- Teamster's Union affiliate. Remember, most members support Trump, but leadership stayed neutral on him, a win. Down ticket R's? Nope. Supports all D's.
Also, the latest campaign Bug I shared was from PPPWU:
So I looked at signs around town. Found two with the - Union CWA Label -on the sign.
These two people are both running for different districts for County Supervisor. Because I have done research I know them to be hard core delusional lunatic lefties. But their campaign signs say nothing about the fact they are democrat lefties. So other than identifying them as Democrats - which is good enough for me - if you are a democrat you are bad for America. Period. Full Stop.
Does it give anymore indication about how they were funded? Other insights by virtue of wearing this CWA union label?
I found others with the Firefighters Union label, what can I glean from that? Not that the membership necessarily supports them but the union leadership does?
Members may or may not be supporting D's. But leadership does. Exception: if the seat is reliably an R seat, no chance a D can win, union leaders may write checks to and endorse an R they don't believe is hostile to them. It's how that hang on to nominal 'bipartisan' appearances. But the R won't have the Union Bug on the campaign materials, even if has leaders who support. It's a D thing.
"you can stay blind and ignorant"--very charitable of you. Good luck winning independents over with that attitude. Dennis Kucinich put the union bug on RFK's campaign materials when Dennis was managing the campaign ack in 2023. Do Dennis Kucinich and RFK, Jr meet your definition of "blind and ignorant"?
You have your information about RFK Jr to guide you without a Bug. And, like I said, not all R's are good, many examples to cite. But for those without track records, just the nice, warm face you meet at a local community meeting, running for office for the first time, saying all the right things you like to hear, that resonate with you, make you believe they are one of "us," the good ones, you literally know nothing about them until they presented themselves for you to vote for.
RFK Jr has a track record. And was punished for it. That's pretty good earned credibility in my book. But the unknowns? The candidates for sheriff, clerk and recorder, auditor, council, commission, health, coroner, school board, dog catcher, who you know nothing about other than what they themselves tell you, The Bug is your best indicator.
Take the state of Indiana, for example. A "Republican" governor, Eric Holcomb. Same cut of Republican as Ohio's Mike DeWine. Rino's. Who locked down, demanded masks, urged vax, closed schools...and welcome illegal immigrants to their states, allocating more resources for them than Americans already struggling in their communities.
And the local officials. Like Logansport, Indiana Mayor Chris Martin. Elected in a nonpartisan election, small rural town. Who's welcomed the illegals destroying his city. Blaming the locals - who elected him - for the problems they're facing. The cultural differences too much, and too many outside politicians making waves stirring things up for them. His constituents just don't understand the illegals. Who need help "assimilating."
Look at his picture. Nice guy! You'd like to like him. Probably a well-spoken, intelligent, warm, compassionate person. You'd like him. Really like him. He'll even talk conservative to you - like Kamala and Obama speak with different accents to pander to their audience. Sames. He's one of you! But he's not. And you can put good money that he had The Bug on his campaign materials.
DG, it is blind ignorance to do the same thing over and over and expect a different result. Actually, that's been called the definition of insane. But I choose to be charitable.
As I said in earlier post, I managed campaigns professionally for more than two decades. I know The Bug. I know it well. And what it means. How much have people paid you for your campaign expertise in your lifetime? People paid me enough to live well for 20+ years because of what I know. How many homes of US Senators, Congressmen, Ambassadors have you been invited into as a dinner guest? How many governors - and their mistresses - have you gone out to bars, drinking, socializing with, have hired you to work directly for their campaigns, taken 1am and 6am calls from on Sunday mornings? How many US Supreme Court justices have you watched sign a final death row appeal denial and fax it back to a prison warden, then heard the radio news report that inmate was put to death five minutes after you watched the fax go through?
I've sat in the office of elected officials who've gotten up in the middle of a meeting we were having to welcome constituents travelling from across the state, back-slapping, big smiles, laughter, long lost friends! Until the constituents left, official sits back down with me, tells me they have no idea who the constituent was, just knew the town they said they were from, where the locals all meet on Thursday mornings to talk about politics, the local community leaders, was enough to make the constituent *feel* remembered, known. "Gotta make 'em like you!"
I've met aspiring first time candidates at backyard BBQ fundraisers, insurance agents, teachers, small business owners, all great, wonderful, nice people! Who were running for all the right reasons! They were going into politics to be a part of the solution, help get power back to the people away from the corrupting influences, good, salt of the earth folks, would have me, a seasoned pro, stand up and say, "Yes! We need you!" And they'd be what they campaigned as for awhile. At least as long as they were removed from the highest positions of power, just back benchers in a minority. But...when they got real power, a gavel, in the majority, a switch would flip. 95% would become that which they said they opposed. With power. Power corrupting, absolute power corrupting absolutely. Truth. Reality.
That's the truth of it. And if someone is a D the power rests with those atop the D party, no matter how local they are. And unless they have a track record of bucking the power atop, like RFK, Jr, 95% will become that which I describe. Whether you or so-called "independents" want to believe it or not. The time for living on fantasy island is over. Long over.
You're certainly entitled to your feelings. But don't mistake them for reality.
I played no dirty game. Yes, I worked in politics. Where I learned what I learned. I bought into it to the degree I did. It's why I know how easy it is to fall for it. I had too much Pollyanna in me to be a top player. I was good, my talent took me where it took me. But I was never a "made man." After meeting enough of these people in the backyard of mansion BBQ fundraisers who always (95%) disappointed I realized it could never be changed. That absolute corrupting nature of power. And #WalkedAway.
No, I never played dirty. I had a conscience. A liability in the profession. THAT'S the real "glass ceiling" in political power. I have no penance to pay. I fear not the gaze of my own eyes into my soul when looking deep inside them in the mirror. My former colleagues? Not a chance.
But, go ahead. I always encourage others to do their own research! I'm naturally a skeptic, too. Just make sure you come back and share the results, k? The Bug is an easy one!
Exactly. Unions were a reaction to horrific working conditions and pay. They had no allegiance (initially) to politics or parties. It was people vs shitty bosses.
*Initially. And then the Union Bosses joined the same country clubs and lived in the same gated communities that the shitty bosses imposing horrific working conditions and pay belong to and live in. The people are the rank-and-file union members. Sold out.
Because the Democratic Party is comprised of tribalist individuals who place the interests of their tribes above their nation, and haven’t matured past that point, let alone to the point to see the truth. Republicans are nationalists, which is why we fly the American flag that represents 50 states united under 1 nation.
I enjoy wearing this American AF t-shirt in front of democrats 👇
The problem is the entire corporate media, with some exceptions from Fox, very successfully brainwashes these people. Years ago, when I believed that the Democrat party represented free speech, anti-war, and favored the worker over the big corporation, I believed that the party was the one that loved the country?. I really hated the batch of Republicans that let us into the war in Iraq on false pretenses. If there was any good in the Democratic Party, it started to drain away after Citizens United, and Obamacare. I heard that Rom Emmanuel basically sold the parties soul to big Pharma in order to get that through. Now the globalists definitely seem to favor the Democrat party, which is now chock full of neocons. But I’m telling you that some of your Democrat friends really think that they are trying to save the country. As a group, I think they are more gullible. They fell for the Covid measures and for all the BS about disinformation. But this is pretty much my whole family, so I can’t hate them. I definitely don’t feel as close as I used to though. It’s so sad.
Very helpful input, Kathy--since you are a 'former insider' - I never was. However, I started to loathe the GOP in early 2000 and, after working for the "Mitt the Mutt" Romney's campaign in 2012...I changed my party affiliation to "Independent".
Yes! I remember a college class I took about Africa and the tribal mentality is why the wars continue. You can look at other countries (and wars) and see the same.
I was reading about post on fb the other day, it’s an international group, and someone was saying that in Australia they chant ‘Aussie Aussie Aussie oi oi oi!’ At sporting events and such and was wondering what thing is common in other countries that people dislike or find cringey. I was surprised at the number of people who said the USA! USA! chants. So sad. They should leave.
I was just coming here to say that. 😂 Didn’t look to me like Americans hate shouting USA at the game last night, or in front of McDonalds, or anytime someone does something patriotic. 😂 💪🏻
The Tolerant Community is mean and nasty and (mostly) only tolerant of one another. Now they equate Trump's McDonald's stunt with a "Birther" conspiracy view--how DARE he question Lyin' Kamala's "Middle Class" resume! This was awesome...no one got a soda with their order so RF Kennedy Jr. and MAHA can at least rest easy that no toxic corn syrup beverage was served. Trump's super-salted fries were hilarious, he genuinely likes people it is obvious...would've been great to have an old dude with aviators on drive through for an ice cream cone
Dirty Joe has at least 3 different doppelgangers covering for him at any given time! One of them could have cruised through the PA Mickey D's while 45 was serving up the fries - LOL!
Democrats don't even get the hypocrisy of their "no hate here" mantra, meanwhile they're spewing non-stop hatred and lies about Trump and literally cheering for his assassination. Oh the irony....
The Dems and Media keep spouting that Trump is going to be using the MILITARY to go after "political" opponents. OK He's not using Paramilitary Militias (BLM & Antifa) like Oathkeepers and Proudboys, he's being shot at and under constant (foreign) threat, he NEEDS MILITARY to protect himself and this democracy from Violent Extremist Political Adversaries and Deep State attackers....i say he open up a Deep State Investigative Committee to expose them and their fine work for past 120 years in both foreign and domestic operations. THIS IS War, and Trump and MAGA and all of America needs to be cognizant of this fact and act accordingly.
Consistent; firebomb Dresden's elderly and war orphans to teach NAZIs a lesson. A-Bomb Nagasaki, the city with most Japanese Christians and least compliant to Japan's Militarist Gvt. leadership. Slaughtering and laying waste to opponents and purging ranks for The Revolution are what they do...No peace but a Carthaginian Peace. These are sick cultists wicked and depraved, perverted and full of venom.
Those "Hate has no home here" signs are so ridiculous. It is Ayn Rand and George Orwell wrapped up together. 2+2=5 (and I believe it), Ministry of Truth (lies), Ministry of Love (hate), Equalization of Opportunity Act (socialism - take from the productive and give to the unproductive), etc.
They had similar signs in Martha’s Vineyard, where they quickly dispatched the illegal migrants within about 24 hours. Never mind the fact that it was off-season and they had tons of hotel rooms available, and much more money than the average community.
They are insane. I say all of them should each house at least one illegal immigrant family (5 to 10 people) and provide room and board for the entire time it takes for the regime to process their "asylum" claims... that way they can do their civic duty and "pay their fair share" in pain that they have caused to the rest of the country. We have to start using their language and fake virtue signaling against them.
The Commie Wordsmithing Dictionary is updated at least thrice annually. Chemical or surgical Abortion of Embryos and even full term infants is NOT "Hate" it is medical care, reproductive freedom, and a woman's fundamental right to her own body. The Death Penalty via lethal injection for a mass murderer and war criminal is definitely HATE. Chemical lethal injection aka. Eldercide and end of life care for mentally or physically anguished is also compassionate health care. Next up; toddlers and anyone sufficiently compromised and judged by a court or guardian as being overly burdensome to family, close friends, or societal care personnel.
One I’ve seen is “You don’t have to hate to make America Great” Huh? This is in a red state, red county so it seems a designed to be a bit cryptic. Other than that, American flags everywhere along with Trump/Vance 2024.
You can invert your first point and it also holds true. Many people voting for Trump don't like the guy, they just see him as the lesser of two evils. The majority of voters want different choices. What a world we live in.
As Elon responded at the PA Townhall, (paraphrasing) If you don't like Trump, you need to ask yourself what you believe about Trump that the media has made you believe. He continued to say that he liked Trump.
Switching back to my perspective, I always go back to Ben Carson and Sara Huckabee Sanders evaluations of his character. They worked very closely with him and both of them had a great deal of respect for Trump and said he was a very hard working man.
I have as well! The employees are gracious and truly seem like they enjoy working there and are treated well. 3 years ago Trump allowed "Women for America First" to host an incredible conference - Most of us would not have ever been able to afford to stay at Doral, and the weekend package was something like $350. This was after he "lost" the election - the speakers were amazing - Robby Starbuck, Tom Holman, David Harris, Kat Cammack, Byron Donalds and Matt Gaetz among others. The staff, especially at the restaurants were unbelievable and treated us regulars like VIPs. In fact, I brought a friend back for lunch the following *year* and they welcomed me back *by name* and had the nicest table by the window ready for us. I was just floored. I am nobody significant.
and oh! The weekend of the American First conference I was eating lunch by myself and someone anonymous picked up my tab. I think maybe the waitstaff is allowed to secretly comp lunches - I have no idea who else would have done it as I knew no one and am not an unusual looking person or anything LOL. I was shocked to say the least.
I literally had only gone there twice- I live hours away. I was treated like family. I was so surprised at the genuine warmth of the staff. That's not something I'd ever experienced.
Yes, when Ted Cruz turned MAGA that meant something too...the crybaby republi-CONS like John Bolton, Anthony Scara-moochie, and others are cashing in on joining the Anti-Trump forces. Even Nikki Haley appears to now have re-joined the coalition opposing the DeepState with KowMala as their figurehead.
She's the Republican version of Scamala, and also not bright at all. After she left the administration I had such high hopes for her - she seemed like an intelligent and in-command person - maybe a future Margaret Thatcher, I thought. But her social media was dismal - personal, whining, complaining and vapid. I realized she had no substance to her.
I like Trump and I think he has a fabulous sense of humor. He probably has the highest morals of 95% of today’s politicians. He doesn’t lie. He doesn’t cheat people. I think we’re lucky to have him willing to serve, and risk his life. God bless Trump.
Wrong. The majority of us don’t just LIKE the man. We like everything about him. You know not one thing about our inclinations, you are just projecting your feelings on millions of people you don’t even known(as democrats do)
Confused... what is there to like about Biden or Harris? Trump is like the best doctor, not the nice friendly one that is Incompetent. Definitely want the one that will heal.
I like Trump a lot. He has a fabulous sense of humor. He’s very honest and sincere. He doesn’t lie. He doesn’t cheat. We are lucky to have Trump willing to serve. God bless Trump.
Something tells me you live in a bubble, Cstone. Polling has shown this repeatedly, and if you haven't been paying attention, the "lesser evil" argument has persisted and been dominant now for many years. I know many people who are voting for Trump because Kamala is so awful, not because they idolize the guy like you.
Oh my god Cstone, talk about projecting.....good grief. The lesser evil argument isn't something I'm making up. Its well acknowledged. You can like and idolize the man, and others, like myself, can realize we are voting for the lesser evil. I'm not the only one in that boat by far. You are acting like what I am saying is crazy and holds no truth. You are being blind to the reality that most people realize. Have a great day.
I've said it once, I'll say it again: The election is about whether you want the trash-talking, womanizing, huckster from Queens in the room dealing with Xi, Vlad, Hamas and the mullahs, or the c*ck-sucking, wannabe Mean-Girl-in-Chief from Oakland. Not even a contest. And Trump is a brilliant and HILARIOUS troll!!😂
RFK cited this consistently - it is what polls show....yes, we can debate whether or not to believe them....or how much to believe them...but this fact has been consistent for many years now - in general, people vote against the other person, not for someone they want, sadly.
IF there's someone I want, I vote for them. In this case, I WANT to be able to pay for food, including being able to buy some meat and food for my dogs. I WANT to be able to afford gas. I WANT to be able to pay for heat and lights. I WANT to be able to afford some clothes at the Goodwill. I WANT to be able to pay my property taxes. I DON'T want to have to live in my car.
All that makes who I WANT to vote for pretty obvious.
Yeah, there are plenty like you. And there are plenty like me, who will vote for the lesser evil. There is more than just your or my reality out there....
Because some of us don't view him as perfect. I worry he will escalate tensions in the middle east so I hope people don't vote for him and sit back and expect miracles to happen.
We don't think he's perfect. We think he's perfect enough for the most important actions starting in 2025: bull in the china shop, tear it down, fight fire with fire, more polite losing.
He's what we need with traits that often accompany such men.
Wait, you mean the same Trump who managed to get the Arabs and Israelis to sign the Abraham Accords? The same Trump that crippled Iran with sanctions so they couldn't fund terrorist organizations like Hamas? I know he isn't perfect, not even close, but he's not the one stirring up the Middle East.
So you think Biden/Obama and. Harris are not doing that. People are suffering because of the above mentioned trio plus Hillary. EVERY agency including congress are jokes. Inciting the middle east I can assure you is the least of our worries
If you think the Middle East insnt a major concern, please do some research. Id start by listening to Colonel Douglas MacGregor, who has advised trump in the past. A greater regional war that includes Iran and then likely Russia would be catastrophic. Iran controls the straits of Hormuz thru which 20% of global petrol passes through
Most of my Dem friends don’t know they have been frogs in a pot on a stove very slowly cooking as the heat rises imperceptibly. they really don’t see the difference as their old Democrat party is utter devolving into their original party of slavery in front of their eyes until irs too late. Different kinds of slavery, but still slavery. I jumped out of the pot in 2021. Never going to be poached frog (or donkey) again.
I jumped out when they started lying about ivermectin and pushing those dangerous, genetic injections. I had a premonition that I would be marching alongside the Trump voters someday. I didn’t know how or why it would happen, but here I am! MAGA MAHA!
Same. I was mostly out during jab crazy then when I realized the evil truth of what was happening to children and the trans horror. I was fully out. . I saw it first hand in my family.
Correct, it is obvious that "they" believe they know better how you should live/be than you do yourself. I find that utterly beyond reason but "they" can argue like a lawyer as to why and how much........, i.e. the Nanny State.
Having knocked over 1700 doors the American flag indicator is not 100% I would say probably 80% of homes with an American flag are conservatives, but there are some D households that fly the flag. And I saw a home-made sign, 'Veteran for Harris' in a yard yesterday.
Well I am in the middle of Lee's Summit and way too many Harris signs for my liking. Saw a ton of them around the UMKC area when I was in KC for a meeting last week. But we have been focusing on mostly working class areas of Raytown the last 6 weeks and have only seen 2 Harris signs so far and maybe a half dozen Trump signs. BUT it's been a job to get people to take Sean Smith for Congress signs as people are afraid of vandalism or ire from their neighbors, even though a lot of households in the app that are listed as moderate D's are saying they are considering voting R this year. It's been very encouraging. Have not had ONE unhinged person at a door yet. Oh, some will say, no thanks, I vote D, but no one has felt the need to rant beyond that, which is a big departure from 2022 when it was about 1 a day.
Ya we have ONE house with a sign that lets you know they are Christians, accompanied by a biden sign last time. This time has the flag, the cross, the no for abortion but no kamela sign. 🤔 Did they wake up? One day I’ll go ask. 😂 We’ve always been confused by their house signage.
On the back hatch of my Jeep Cherokee, there's about 4 inches of space on either side of the license plate. I bought the car from my dad, who had put an NRA sticker on the right side of the plate. I put a peace sign on the left side, just to balance out the look. People often ask me what's up with this. I tell them it's "Peace Through Superior Firepower".
Well, in your defense, that used to be an ironclad rule of door-knocking in my circle - that even if the house was not in the database of the houses on your list/app, to hit that one anyway if they had an American flag flying. (and to skip the ones with a pride flag.) We still hit the American flag houses anyway, but the last 2-3 years it seems like it is not as reliable as it used to be. Of course there are Democrats and then there are leftist nut jobs and they are all under the same party. My late dad was a blue dog/Truman D and we always flew the flag growing up.
I am pretty sure there is more than one, but I noticed this sign in particular because of the mini American flags actually attached to the Harris sign. And yes, it’s a good general statement, my point was that even if it’s a vast majority, there are still plenty of exceptions. Plus I think as one other poster noted, they are all in with the “Trump is a threat to democracy” lie, so using the flag is their way of highlighting that.
Here in Northern Virginia, there is a marked difference in the signs this year. The Harris Walz signs are everywhere, and many of them are simply ENORMOUS. This is not a measure of their support for Kamala. It is simply a measure of their fear and hatred of Trump. One guy whose house is across from the Catholic Church I attend has bravely hung a Trump flag and an American flag vertically between two large trees. All of his neighbors have Harris Walz signs. His flags have been vandalized and stolen 5 times so far. I think he has finally given up, but I appreciate his courage and efforts.
My husband and I were saying you don’t need a Trump Flag to show who you are or aren’t voting for, you just need an American flag. And that very true here in rural southern Oregon, if someone is voting for Harris they are doing so quietly.
Oh no, not at all! I am so offended (offended, I say) by the frequency of small American flags, commonly two per sign, attached above the Harris signs. Both in Lincoln Cty Me and Montgomery Cty Pa.
Have seen a few of those in MO as well. There is one yard close to my bank and neighborhood hardware store where I swear it looks almost like a shrine - flags mounted on each side, surrounded with freshly planted mums and some other fall decorations, all surrounded by a circle of rocks. Like they dug up the middle of their front yard just to feature their Harris sign. Should drive by at night and see if they also light it up, lol.
In 2020, my Democrat brother wanted to fly a flag in his yard, but he thought it would make people think that he was for Trump, so he took it down. Unfortunately, like most of my family he has TDS. I am the black sheep, and proud of it!!!!
There are two things I believe to be true as you read this.
1 - It's not that Democrats love Kamala, they just hate Trump, so who ya gonna vote for?
2 - Republicans often have American flags accompanying their Trump signs. Democrats never have American flags with their signs.
They never say USA, USA, USA.
they chant lgbtq, lgbtq, lgbtq
Re: Local elections and spotting the D candidate Union "Bug":
https://i.imgflip.com/97fceh.jpg
Image link above was from previous election cycle. Just got this in the mail today. This is a radical, Marxist D. Campaign mailer:
Union Bug:
https://i.imgflip.com/97gx9g.jpg
Police, Firefighters, Bug:
https://i.imgflip.com/97gkes.jpg
Police, Realtors:
https://i.imgflip.com/97gkm7.jpg
Yes, I call them RINOs. And they are everywhere.
I'm going to start watching for the "bug". Did not know this.
And cut off your infant son's penis to call him a girl.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wby2vRj2FbU
Have you checked to see if she has the “Bug” on her material? If the Democrat money is paying for her signs and the rest, you will know who has her loyalty.
Is the "bug" on her campaign material?
I know they do this 100%. Take a hard dem and mold them over a decade to feign the conservative mantras to get in to office.
This "bug" thing is intriguing... if that is truly a tell.
Yes...CORRUPTION SO DEEP we cannot fathom! WE THE PEOPLE were asleep for DECADES.
Slick as Satan.
Absolutely is. I've shared my professional experience in another comment on this thread. Take it or leave it, it's what informs me.
Unfortunately, it doesn't 'tell' about FakeR's. But it's quick, reliable and better than nothing for finding D's in nonpartisan local elections..
On the highway, about an hour ago, a guy was towing a black viper, the license plate on the viper was GCC. I wondered what the hell it meant.
GCC:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Graphic_Communications_Conference
- Teamster's Union affiliate. Remember, most members support Trump, but leadership stayed neutral on him, a win. Down ticket R's? Nope. Supports all D's.
Also, the latest campaign Bug I shared was from PPPWU:
https://pppwu.org/
FF,
So I looked at signs around town.
And you can put good money that he had The Bug on his campaign materials.
https://nypost.com/2024/10/21/us-news/logansport-in-students-struggle-after-thousands-of-migrants-moved-in/
DG, it is blind ignorance to do the same thing over and over and expect a different result.
Very well stated.
I know truth when I hear/read it.
You are admitting you played a dirty game on the people.
Is this your penance?
I'm going to go look at some signs.... see if they confirm my suspicions.
Sold out.
Muchos gracias, F.F.!!
Cockroach is it?

Thank FF.
Because the Democratic Party is comprised of tribalist individuals who place the interests of their tribes above their nation, and haven’t matured past that point, let alone to the point to see the truth. Republicans are nationalists, which is why we fly the American flag that represents 50 states united under 1 nation.
I enjoy wearing this American AF t-shirt in front of democrats 👇
we-the-people-are-pissed-off-2.creator-spring.com/listing/amaf
Please quit calling at the Democratic Party. It is the Democrat party. There is nothing democratic about it.
I like to call them Demoncrats.
I call them DemonRATS or DummieRATS
I call them Democraps
There actually is a difference, and technically speaking it is the "democratic" party. But yeah, they suck.
Please explain why it is technically the Democratic Party
Rahm and BHO: wreaking havoc from IL to DC. 😖
I bet they hated the Steelers game last night! LOL. Makes me want to run around shouting "USA! USA! USA!"
I was just coming here to say that. 😂 Didn’t look to me like Americans hate shouting USA at the game last night, or in front of McDonalds, or anytime someone does something patriotic. 😂 💪🏻
I'll run right beside you, GG--used to 'love' the Steelers...STILL LOVE my country!
It was Americans saying they dislike the USA chants in America, btw. Not other countries.
Of course, dumbocraps, gotta dumbocrap.
😳 That is terrible! Maybe those lame responders are actually bots? One can hope, at least.
Maybe that referred to international sporting events. If that’s the case, we do tend to win a lot of the medals! Could cause a little jealousy.
To Dems it’s never about loving the country- it’s what can the ‘Government’ give to me!!
Hate has no home here! Enjoy these translations of the hottest Kamala lawn signs: https://yuribezmenov.substack.com/p/harris-walz-lawn-sign-translations
Ohioan here. A house I drive by has a handmade sign in their yard that states the following:
"This vet did not serve to support socialism".
Totally bottom lines it. Much respect for this veteran!
I have written many times, "There are none so intolerant as those who preach tolerance."
An old dude who obviously should not be behind the wheel.
....but the booty call Corvette? What you trying to say Man???
Later Jay
Dirty Joe has at least 3 different doppelgangers covering for him at any given time! One of them could have cruised through the PA Mickey D's while 45 was serving up the fries - LOL!
a stogie clenched in the teeth and a Trump 2024 hat on!
LOL!!!!!
🎯🎯🎯
Democrats don't even get the hypocrisy of their "no hate here" mantra, meanwhile they're spewing non-stop hatred and lies about Trump and literally cheering for his assassination. Oh the irony....
Whenever I see one of those no hate signs, I want to roll down my window and yell TRUMP! and then watch they’re heads explode! haha!
Go Trump!! FIGHT!! FIGHT!!!! FIGHT!!!!!!!
I know right?? 🙄😕
Democrats will quit cheering only when the attempt is successful.
Thanks Yuri for sharing… enjoyed and commented 😉
Those were great. I shared a few.
Those are great!
I don't like this manner of speech, but his heart is in the right place.
I frequently visit the Trump Resort in Doral Florida and have talked to many employees there. They consistently tell me that he is a great man .
Yes!! There are a few on the waitstaff that know us and treat us like royalty!
That's not something I'd ever experienced.
yep, that it is the best rationale I have heard as we try to wrestle our sanity.
Never trust Nikki Haley…two faced, arrogant, deep state
She's the Republican version of Scamala, and also not bright at all. After she left the administration I had such high hopes for her - she seemed like an intelligent and in-command person - maybe a future Margaret Thatcher, I thought. But her social media was dismal - personal, whining, complaining and vapid. I realized she had no substance to her.
🎯💯
❤️❤️❤️
I love his speech. His speech is perfect to take down the leftists.
I like Trump and I think he has a fabulous sense of humor. He probably has the highest morals of 95% of today’s politicians. He doesn’t lie. He doesn’t cheat people. I think we’re lucky to have him willing to serve, and risk his life. God bless Trump.
And he doesn’t lean in to sniff hair of eomen and little girls 🤮
Women
Wrong. The majority of us don’t just LIKE the man. We like everything about him. You know not one thing about our inclinations, you are just projecting your feelings on millions of people you don’t even known(as democrats do)
I LOVE Trump! His speech is often what I’m thinking, but he has the courage to SAY IT!
Confused... what is there to like about Biden or Harris? Trump is like the best doctor, not the nice friendly one that is Incompetent. Definitely want the one that will heal.
I like Trump a lot. He has a fabulous sense of humor. He’s very honest and sincere. He doesn’t lie. He doesn’t cheat. We are lucky to have Trump willing to serve. God bless Trump.
Something tells me you live in a bubble, Cstone. Polling has shown this repeatedly, and if you haven't been paying attention, the "lesser evil" argument has persisted and been dominant now for many years. I know many people who are voting for Trump because Kamala is so awful, not because they idolize the guy like you.
true.
I did NOT vote for him in 2016, but did 4 years ago.
This year I am a Trump 47 "captain" going door to door. Regardless, I STILL view him as the lesser of 2 evils.
JD Vance is his backup for a reason.
"...as democrats do..." LOL - classic example of projection.
He’s the best surgeon to do the operation our country needs. Who gives a crap about his personality?
I didn't say anything aobut his personality
And you know the majority inclinations how?
Yes, but that's not what you said.
Who cares why people vote for Trump, as long as they vote for Trump?
Because some of us don't view him as perfect. I worry he will escalate tensions in the middle east so I hope people don't vote for him and sit back and expect miracles to happen.
We don't think he's perfect. We think he's perfect enough for the most important actions starting in 2025: bull in the china shop, tear it down, fight fire with fire, more polite losing.
He's what we need with traits that often accompany such men.
Hopefully he actually drains the swamp this time rather than surroundig himself with said swamp creatures like he did the first time.
Iran controls the straits of Hormuz thru which 20% of global petrol passes through
Only one perfect human was ever born: Jesus of Nazareth.
This Veteran loves Trump. He loves this America and Americans. He is what is standing between us and the destruction of this country.
And also Kennedy voters.
Simply, they hate the free American way of life.
I jumped out after Obamacare.
I don't really think that's totally true. They hate YOU having "the free American way of life."
Edited for grammar.
Correct, it is obvious that "they" believe they know better how you should live/be than you do yourself. I find that utterly beyond reason but "they" can argue like a lawyer as to why and how much........, i.e. the Nanny State.

Edited for projecting and generalizing.
Having knocked over 1700 doors the American flag indicator is not 100% I would say probably 80% of homes with an American flag are conservatives, but there are some D households that fly the flag. And I saw a home-made sign, 'Veteran for Harris' in a yard yesterday.
On my street (in Cass County MO) there are 15 Trump signs and 2 Harris signs
Yes, I would say that has been my experience also.
#2 I can disprove with at least one sign in my neighborhood 😕
You are today's winner, Sir!

Love it!
Maybe that's the point...confusion. Do you know if they work for the cee iii aaa?
😂
Go before the election and make the case for Trump
Huh, interesting!
❤️😇
Maybe stay clear: Hannibal Lecter says "I ate his liver with some fava beans and a nice chianti." just saying.

I KNEW I should have written rarely instead of never!
They def. started putting up the flags when Biden won since "muh democracy" was saved. A flag is not a reliable indicator anymore.
Yes, the “muh democracy” angle definitely has something to do with it, imo.
I make a point of doing that, because I have found that “never” and “always” are generally (😁) too categorical.
Sounds like something from couples counseling......

😃
me too.
It is easy to learn "humble" once you stick your foot in your mouth. . . !
❤️
You did good. There are always a few exceptions to every rule. 🙂
Heard about another from a surprised reliable source.
That’s the ticket! Rarely is there such a thing as always or never.
🙂
Death. Perfection. (Unless one is God)
Depends on the definition.
One does not compete with thousands/millions. 😉
These are not nice people.
My husband and I were saying you don’t need a Trump Flag to show who you are or aren’t voting for, you just need an American flag. And that very true here in rural southern Oregon, if someone is voting for Harris they are doing so quietly.
Perhaps enough black Americans have awaken to overcome the NGO illegal immigrant "vote"?
The Amish who never vote are finally stepping up and voting for the better choice:

None of the blacks I know. 😢😢😢😭😭😭
A lot of black men claim they have seen the light and will never cast a vote for kakles.
😞 Not the ones I know. (I live in a relatively small city.)
In what part of the country do you live?
Midwest.
And yet the DNC convention was full of American flags…..and Kamala’s “HOPE”.
And “joy” 🙄 From the biggest negative sourpusses on the planet 🙄
Here in (red) Virginia, Kamala's signs are adorned with flags and bunting! Dems aren't dumb - but they assume we are!
That is not the case in our area. I think the local dems have made it a priority for their voters to reclaim the flag.
They chant “abortion, abortion, abortion’!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
