Related - I saw that Remdesivir seems to have a new name that's being floated around. I don't recall it off the top of my head, but it had the whole "FDA Approved!!!" logos going with it.

As a professional nurse we also referred to it as “run death is near”. Those types of disturbing situations were happening with increasing frequency which is why I chose to leave my career 2 years ago. I no longer trusted the integrity of the healthcare system or many providers. I am still staying very informed as part of a group that shares data and information regarding Covid, the vaccines and other current hot topics in healthcare.
A little mental exercise I sometimes do is to try to come up with a good, new name for a model of car.... Try it; you might be surprised at how difficult it is!

Nurses were calling Remdesivir
“When death is near.”
The nurses I know call it "run death is near". Good to see that either version is getting some traction.
Saw videos quoting nurses in 2021: they're cheering us. If they'd knew what we'd done, our blood would be flowing in the streets

Who tf comes up with these names??
I know. I'm torn with being impressed with the names and wanting to scream at how stupid they sound.

Pharma ad copywriters who specialize in drug names. Pays handsomely. An aquaintance of mine’s dad was one.
Who came up with yours?
It's true origin is probably lost to antiquity, but I do know that it comes from the word "courteous", if you don't know, that means polite. 😉

It doesn't look very Gaelic.
