Nice! I have our dough spread over 3 credit unions here in FL. I've tested the ATM cards so we can maximize cash grabs if times start getting dicey. I do use a Wells Fargo account with about 3,000 to handle crypto wallets. (I'm mostly out of crypto tho, I'm a big chicken).

Also cancelled paypal early this week which sucked as they are a cool service for ebay and sending cash to some youtubers I follow.

I'm setting up gabpay now, but they are limited. Almost no one big uses them. It is useful for person to person transfers. But we need to start building the parallel economy.

Check out GloriFi, promoted by Candace Owens as a replacement for Paypal. She claims they have conservative values. I haven't personally looked into it yet. Just cancelled Paypal as well and will be checking it out.

Be careful with GloriFi. A Wall Street Journal article this week seemed indicate troubled financials or even bankruptcy for the enterprise.

That may have been because enough people hadn't heard about it yet. The WSJ article was 4 days ago. This Yahoo article is from 2 days ago. According to the article 33,000 people signed up in the first 100 hours after Owens mentioned it on Instagram.

I'm going to look into it! I have paypal, Cashapp, zelle, Facebook pay, and venmo.

I need to consolidate.

Venmo = PayPal. Zelle is great provided the person on the other end of your transaction is fully trusted.

You know that eBay uses PayPal very seldom now? I’be been selling on eBay for 24 years, a couple years ago they set up their own accounts. You might check it out...quick & easy especially for sellers. No big surprise of fees at the end of the month.

Do you know if you can cancel paypal without cancelling venmo?

Correct. Ebay ditched Paypal 3 or 4 years ago and now run their own "managed payments" back office. You can pay your seller with a credit card, or even from your pending Ebay sales revenue funds. Your seller gets the money as quick as 24 hours. As a "power seller" with 20 years on the platform, I recommend Ebay's system.

JP Morgan/Chase needs to go too. They "debanked" Gen Flynn, the National Center for Religious Freedom and Kanye West, among others. They did offer to reinstate NCRF in exchange for their donor list (!) and the list of candidates they are considering supporting in the future(!) Disgusting.

Debank the debanker wankers.

My husband’s personal bank. I bank with a local small group. Agreed. Big bankers are wankers. When I see Jamie Dimon (Demon) bloviating and given any credibility at all I just want to scream.

Still laughing Eric. Needed that as since I mentioned some support for Senator Johnson and why this morning, my hubby (well cinched and knotted up in the oxygen-free demorat bag), is now horrified at my betrayal. Side eye from him several times already. Whatever. Best he know the truth. Smell her sweater. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣. Catching breath now.

I understand that Venmo is owned by PayPal. Please correct me if I’m wrong. Just deleted that account as well.

I was checking the Jobs page at Venmo.

"Creating an environment where everyone feels a sense of belonging is paramount at Venmo. Inclusion and diversity take many forms here, and they’re important to us even before the interview. We equip our recruiters and interviewers with knowledge that helps them navigate hiring with care, right down to using the appropriate gender pronouns."

LOL

In MyChart, at least for my hospital, under “personal info,” it asks “gender identity” with a long list of choices, as well as “sex assigned at birth” with options including “unknown” and “uncertain.”

Possibly for marketing purposes? “We see you’ve got a mismatch! We can help.”

Twitter silencing, effectively “canceling” progressive socialist former AOC fanbois is priceless. I admit, I am entertained watching the cancel culture consume itself. And thanks for reminding me to cancel my PayPal account. Done.

I closed my PayPal account. I won't be taking the $15.00. I consider this corruption, taking what is not mine ... and also, a bearing of false witness. It's just plain dishonest.
