No offense, but who the heck do you think will survive a nuclear war?

The elite & their chosen servants expect to.

Shouldn't the elite and their chosen servants have learned by now that "expect" and "will" are two entirely different things?

😆 what would have taught them that? They still don't understand the word "no." And the servants just do as told; not the deciders.

They're too arrogant to figure that out.

Hiding in the bunkers. If it’s Walmart billionaires bunkers you can surround yourself with priceless art. Let’s find the air vents and plug them. Can’t run on generators for ever and solar will be out. They can keep their cheap junk food however. Might ci11 them sooner. Just sayin.

Block the air intakes? Naahhh. Release noxious stinky fumes into them. A couple of decaying durian fruit; a bowlful of offal post-Taco Bell dinner; a long shpritz of skunk exusion. Be creative!

Durian fruit. I had a whiff of that once. Yikes.

Nope.

Japan still exists today and is stronger than before, so about that.

Actually, the nuclear weaponry that exists today is also stronger than before. A lot stronger. So, yeah...

Yes and no.

Dialable also.

Which doesn't change my point.

People here freaking out over nuclear warfare are no better than those who freaked out over covid in early 2020.

Putin threatened Nukes a dozen times before, even before Joe biden was vice president.

Japan had our help. Who do you think is going to help us?

Benjamin Two N's's avatar

Who helped us out post 9/11?

Nato. Including gasp, UKRAINE! (And they lost some men doing it, too)

Who helped us out during the various natural disasters ? Singapore was flying helicopters and Israel sent search and rescue teams. During Covid TAiwan sent a lot of aid to the USA also (we know it was pointless, it was the thought that counted)

People will help us if we need it.

As bad as 911 was, it was one city in one state. Nuclear war would be a lot worse and we've burned quite a few bridges since then.

Also, consider the international implications if the U.S. is hit. Ukraine is already busy, several countries in the Mid East are likely to see us as weak enough at that point to attack Israel, and the same is true regarding China invading Taiwan.

Some European countries may be willing to help us, depending on affected their own countries are.

Cockroaches will survive nuclear war and anyone that can get into the right kind of bunker to wait it out. Afterward it’ll be like Mad Max for real.

I teach these classes to soldiers all the time.

You have the best gear in the world, the best training in the world, the best leadership, and people to your left and right who care and want you to succeed (well, atleast at my unit).

Nuclear war isn't some end of humanity thing. We survived far worse things previously.

30 years war in Europe (Killed 25-40% of Europe's population). The black plague. WW2 (largest human conflict in history in size of people and geography).

If it's big enough, and the US ans Russia exchange hundreds or thousands of nukes, no one is gonna survive, no matter how fancy your bunker is. Nuclear winter sets in, plants and animals die, everyone dies. Plus, there'd be fatal levels of radiation everywhere. Hiroshima would be nothing compared to a global nuclear war. We have bombs now that are orders of magnitude more powerful. Best thing is probably to be at ground zero and die instantly, like Linda Hamilton in T2.

There’s a lot (I dk how much but maybe another CCer does) of underground communities and living going in. More than you’d believe or think!! They’re planning for this too.

Where I live, especially with those in the 20-40 age group, they are living on a completely separate economy so the government and usual money system knows nothing about what they are doing. They call themselves "anarchists", but the meaning is different from our traditional view of anarchy. They just see it as a separate economy, as they want nothing to do with any kind of government.

You folks act like it's something not survivable.

Go read a book on physics and learn.

Easy, don't give in to a nuclear armed tyrant.

Remind him anything he does, we will do back twice as bad.
