I figured they'd swoop in and then the media would praise and sing about how wonderful life is (similar to what they did during the Obama years). All the while they'd pass a bunch of bills behind the scenes that would make everything more expensive for us. But life could largely go back to normal. That is the opposite of what happened. It got 1,000x worse when they came into power. You're right - it speaks to a much larger plan none of us were really aware of.
