Thanks for that info Annie, this calls to mind the old song, βI Am Woman Hear Me Roarβ, Itβs time for us to be heard loud and clear!
Iβve never considered myself a feminist, because I thought that ideology was flawed as wellβ¦women putting themselves in competition with menβ¦my view has always been what I consider Biblical, let men be men, and women be women, neither confusing the roles or the genders.
The women's lib movement was brought about and funded by the Rothchilds. Not only would it cause disruption in the family unit, he saw it as a way to increase the tax base by at least 30-40%. The Rothschilds also created and funded the Drugs, Sex and Rock and Roll campaign in the 60s.
This is Mental Illness on display. I am sick of woketards trying to mimic women and vice a versa. Shame on Ulta. You can't be what you aren't no matter how much you slice and dice it.
I hadn't heard of them either, but I've never worn much make as I have sensitive skin and a moisturizer and a bit of lipstick now and then works fine. And I'm 70.
FWIW, Ulta does have SOME good products. At the same time, they have a large section of things you can buy at Walmart, but double the price. AND, it smells like a perfume factory every time you enter. I can only stay about 20 mins before I have to get out of there.
Minus a few decent products, you arent missing much.
Thank you, Annie, for making it easy with Ultaβs contact info and suggested verbiage. Email sent to Ulta and it felt good to βroarβ albeit with gentle criticism for their decision to normalize grown men who think they are girlies and can be mothers. Now a phone call and then a text - the trifecta will be complete for this senior just shy of 8 decades around the sun!
I can get my stuff at Macy's. I am going to look like hell if I don't do something fast. I was planning on taking my stuff back in person just to make a statement. We need a place that keeps it's politics out of business. Jerks.
Yes, this is true! Sephora refused to let me enter their store without an "approved mask" during 2020. The other problem is that almost every store and business has gone woke- Walmart, Target, Amazon, Bed Bath & Beyond, Best Buy, etc. I know there are many more. It's harder to find one that isn't woke these days.
I know, and while I am for shopping locally where possible, a lot of times small local shops are limited in terms of choices, and prices can be very high. Iβm not opposed to paying more for some things but paying significantly more and having fewer choices (and choices that donβt always fit oneβs needs) is hard π
I just emailed them. Said it was a "product description" issue on their website. LOL and used the wording you suggested. Next, I'm going to rip up my insider "beauty card" or whatever that thing is called. Out, out!
We want this to be a place where beauty lovers support beauty lovers-of all ages, sizes, ethnicities, and genders. We believe that beauty has no boundaries and want to create an environment where all expressions of beauty are welcome.
We want our community to be a welcoming place. Everyone has the right to their opinions, and we encourage everyone to keep it positive. We want to create a place where beauty lovers support beauty lovers of all ages, sizes, ethnicities and genders.β
Thank you for your patience and understanding! Please do not hesitate to respond to this email directly if you have any additional questions.
That's a great idea. Contact Ulta at 1-866-983-8582 or their website www.ulta.com to email them. Let them know men cannot "culturally and biologically appropriate " what is a woman. Use their woke verbiage against them! π©βπ¦³π§π©βπ¦°

I still know the words to that song.

Yep. :)

Cataloged with much, much more in The Committee of 300. A rabbit warren if there ever was one.

Before today I'd never heard or seen the word "Ulta".
I swear.
Am so out of the loop, but I like learning new things.
Like which companies to add to my boycott list, should I ever stumble across them.
I hadn't heard of them either, but I've never worn much make as I have sensitive skin and a moisturizer and a bit of lipstick now and then works fine. And I'm 70.
My mum now: Oil of Olay & lipstick.
Before that, like in the 60's, what was that divine lotion that smelled like fake cherries? (oh, you know it...)
Then compact powder (they had a mirror). Finale: Lipstick. (Blotted with a tissue. π)
She still looks like Gina Lolabrigida. Not even joking.
She'll be 90 at month's end.

Well DONE Madam! π
I just emailed. Took your wording suggestion.
I had to put in that it was an order issue.
I told them I am switching to Sephora.
Unfortunately Sephora is just as bad if not worse π

How is BeautyCounter? I purchase their moisturizer, but I'd change if needed.
I havenβt tried them yet so unfortunately canβt give you any advice about Beauty Counter.

I know we canβt win π Well maybe if they get enough pushback at least one of them will stop!
I put in that it was a store issue. Told them the same thing. Done with them.

Just emailed ulta. Phone call is next.

Remember when all the dept stores cancelled Ivana Trumps clothing line?
Yes, & I promptly purposely shopped elsewhere & told them why.
Done
Done.
Just emailed Ulta!
And not buying products from them again.
Ulta's quick response:

Better to phone. The website doesnβt let you just comment. Gotta pick from several menus. As far as I could see anyway.
Hoping Ulta does indeed get back in touch with me. Perhaps Ulta corporate will consider our reaction to their manly video.
Regarding my email to Ulta, I received the following reply:

I finally texted them with the number a comment had. I hope Ulta gets SLAMMED.
