Oh, I forgot about this. Same Navy Seal buddy. His wife was out of town visiting her family in Texas. She called him and told him her family was trying to convince her to get the shot. So he told her to put him on speaker phone so he could talk to everyone. He told them that if they convinced his wife to get the shot that he would divorce her and then when she gets sick from the shot, they can take care of her and pay her medical bills. They left her alone after that. That's what you call Tough Love.
My man is also a former SEAL and his sister unfortunately is a vax fanatic. She would not allow us to come to his niece's birthday party unless we were vaxxed too, which we flat out refused. She then required tests at Christmas time to make sure that we were not positive with rona (being the only unvaxxed in the family, we were the only ones REQUIRED to test). He told her that we would only get a test if she could provide a test for every single person attending as well. (Her husband was rushed to the hospital less than a week after his first shot, suddenly deathly sick and he now lives with an autoimmune condition for life. There is no connection for her whatsoever..) My family tried to convince me as well, but I politely declined and they haven't pushed it since. It is tough to have family pressure, but I am so thankful that he stands his ground with me against this death jab!
