Honestly, what was your opinion of Trump before 2015 when he announced his run based on his media behavior and image? Was it a prudent, sober thinker with deeply held principles? Or was it a buffoonish World Wresting Federation-type cartoon character always hawking something? I'm willing to bet it was the latter.
However, since then Trump won us over with his commitment to conservative principles and obvious love for the country. Most people don't follow politics they way we do though, and they still see Trump as the buffoon. He's made no real effort to reach these people and makes it worse by shooting off his mouth without thinking. I get it as it's always worked for him in the past, but when you need 51% (including lots of political illiterates) sometimes a behavior change is warranted. He needs to really consider this as now he's even driving away supporters (such as myself) with his ill-timed antics.
I wanted to see Ben Carson win the nomination. He was already out when the Michigan primary rolled around. So I voted for Ted Cruze. My nephew, mid 40’s and a cop was all in for DJT. Then my sister in CO stood in line for hours twice to see him in rally’s there. She was all in. I still wasn’t convinced, but Carson supported him after he left the race, and he gave a list of SCjustices he would nominate and I liked that. I was not going to vote for Hilary. And I would not go 3rd party as did that with Ross Perot and gave the race to Clinton. I was not on the DJT bandwagon but when I went to our rural twp hall to vote, the place was packed, many blue collar friends with MAGA hats on. I have never felt so exhilarated after voting and I have voted in every election since I was 18. I didn’t expect him to win, but I felt good about voting for him.
I was anti-Trump in 2016. I could've (held my nose) and voted for 16 of the 17 GOP candidates who ran, but not Trump. (I ended up taking a part in the Gary Johnson campaign after Trump was nominated.)
In 2020, however, I was all in. Despite his boorish, crude narcissism, I heavily supported Trump. We went to his rally in Tulsa, and after the steal, I went to a Stop the Steal rally (which ended up being just another GOP steal itself.)
But enough is enough. Trump is not at all a hero - he's in bed with Big Pharma. He's in bed with whomever goes to Mar a Lago to kiss his ring - no matter how transparently dishonest and establishment they are. (Kevin McCarthy, I'm looking at you.)
I get that the politically naive see his rough demeanor and wrongly think he's an outsider. He isn't. He's just a conman playing the part of "Spoiler" to convince the average voter to vote one more time. Just because he's despised by all the wrong people, doesn't make him right.
Right up until he started slamming DeSantis and Youngkin, I honestly would have voted for him if he were the nominee. Not anymore. Even if it were Biden/Harris vs. Trump, I'll sit it out.
Why all this Trump bashing? He's the best President in my lifetime. He said what he would do and then he did it, through great adversity. I judge him on his accomplishments, not his personality. I like his personality anyway.i dont see him as you do. He's the only person I can listen to for hour and not get bored.
And he wasn't downing DeSantis when he said De-sanctimonious . It means NOT Sanctimonious! But you just let the MSM tell you what it means.
He was playing with the press and I'm sure there is no animosity between Trump and DeSantis.
You don't understand what Trump is doing with the press. The minute he's not pulling their chain, they'll be all over him.
I think you misunderstand his "touting" of Warp Speed. It was a good idea, taken over by DeepST Leftists. It's they who want to kill us, not Trump. Had he been able to rightfully take office in 2020, he would have seen that proper testing be done.
He said, take the vaccine IF it's been tested and is safe.
I found that in Politico
when fox and nbc were only reporting that he said take the vaccine. By the way, there is no vaccine, so he was giving warning in that way.
You're not listening very well. Trump constantly brags about the greatest achievement of his presidency (may be his life) as "Operation WarpSpeed" and that *he* has saved millions of lives. Read his SEPT 2019 EO 13887 (right before Event 201 and the plandemic). It creates "The Influenza Vaccine Task Force" and opens the legal door for recombinant vaccines. Recombinant means DNA-altering with genetic engineering. Yes, he has said it's a choice to be jabbed but does encourage people to take it. But when should it even BE a choice to take an experimental, toxic injection? Doctors and scientists everywhere were speaking about it even before it was (magically) created, once the technology being used was announced. When Trump pulled the US out of the WHO, he quietly gave Bill Gates' GAVI $1.2 BILLION for their "vaccinate the world" initiative. And the BIGGEST red flag for me, is WHY hasn't ANYONE confronted him with the death and maiming statistics?? Everyone is wondering why he won't come out against it, but NO one has asked him? That's fishy to me. I truly believe Trump knew exactly what was happening and he's a Trojan Horse.
Where's the propaganda? Other people here are commenting the same thing. Have you actually checked out anything but Trump Rally speeches and pro-Trump sites? Did you look up that EO? Here it is, in case you haven't bothered. I also question Trump's closeness with Kushner, but that an entirely different rabbit hole, but they all end in the same spot.
BTW, I voted for Trump 2x, attended rallies, parades and did my best to get him elected the second time. It was only after his staunch promotion of the clotshot even after the info came out about how bad it truly was, did I bother to look further.

Some excellent points Jeff C!

You don't understand what Trump is doing with the press. The minute he's not pulling their chain, they'll be all over him.
Excepting Reagan, and maybe Kennedy, Trump is the best president in my lifetime too.
BUT that's a damn low bar to measure him by.
His proudest accomplishment, Operation Warp Speed, will kill millions. Yet he keeps touting it.
I think you misunderstand his "touting" of Warp Speed. It was a good idea, taken over by DeepST Leftists. It's they who want to kill us, not Trump. Had he been able to rightfully take office in 2020, he would have seen that proper testing be done.

Except that TO THIS VERY DAY he's still claiming it as his greatest accomplishment and has urged people to take it over and over and over.
Trump is deep state. He's just stealthier - by pretending to oppose the Deep State, he's even deeper than the rubes think.
I disagree. You have no idea what he's had to deal with.
And I don't believe he's encouraged people to take the shot over and over again.
A few times he has said, take the vaccine [ which we don't have yet], If it tests safe.

You're putting out interesting propaganda, but whose?

Was the Wall Built, Hillary jailed, the Swamp Drained? Did you get sick of winning too?
More of the wall was built, while leftist tried to stop it.
He closed the border and worked a deal with Mexico to keep asylum seekers there until their case could be heard.
He made the US the #1 Exporter of oil in the world.
Gas was a lot cheaper.People got back to work. He stopped sending money to WHO. He got us out of the Paris climate stupidity. I could go on.
He was in process of draining the Swamp, but you have No idea the evil he still is dealing with.
