God will prevail - He knew all of this before He created the universe and STILL loved us enough to see it through. He does not need a relationship with us, but He desires it. That is why He gave us freedom of thought and choice, despite knowing what a sinful man could do. Because of His love for us, we need to move closer to Him, build a relationship with Him through prayer and reading of the Holy Scriptures.
