How depraved have we become? We need to bring back compassion. I read a story once of a woman who wanted to have a baby and abort it to use it’s cells for her sick child. The doctor refused but this was years ago when there was still some ethics in medicine. Pray for us all...Retribution will not be pretty.

I’d always assumed that the organs and tissues taken from aborted babies were taken from the dead babies after the completed procedure. Naive me - when else do doctors use dead organs for something? They don’t. Thus the urgency in a transplant situation - maintain viability of the organ so it can be urgently placed in the new recipient.
And while you are peering into this rabbit hole, look into how Uighyrs (?spelling) are forcibly harvested (and often thus killed) for their organs in China. I’m not even making that up. They are a particular ethnic group hated by the Chinese government and horribly abused and genocided by them. Horrific doesn’t even do it justice. And yes, some are killed for their organs.
