When the Catholic Church tried to use Jesus to push vaccines I read the churches stance on using a procedure that had aborted fetal cells in it. The pretzel logic made my head hurt. Unfortunately the leadership of the church has turned into one big NGO. There is a core of the body of the church is sound and we just shake our heads at what-the-heck is going on. The fight continues and good always triumphs over evil. When I die I want to be able to stand before God and say I loved You, I tried.

I am Catholic, and disgusted with this, but this source says:

Catholic Charities is by far the largest Catholic recipient of federal immigration funds, having received over $1.8 BILLION of federal grants between 2008-2022. This figure includes both PRIME awards received directly from federal agencies as well as SUBAWARDS received from other organizations https://www.complicitclergy.com/2023/01/04/watch-bishops-banking-billions-exploiting-illegal-immigration-invasion/

Thank you for sharing the article. Evil is at work every where, Catholic Church included. It is so important to know your faith. It is sad to know that there are people within Catholic Charities taking advantage of the situation. These last few years has really brought evil out in the open and those who believe are seeing the evil. I work hard to keep my eyes on God and let him take care of the rest.

So much for 'separation of church and state'.....and then we wonder why the churches did not stand up to this covid crap - they didn't want to risk the spigot being turned off. Sad times.

Always "follow the money" if a "church's" stance seems morally and spiritually "off base".

Personally, I have a problem when someone says the Catholic Church. I am the Catholic Church and so it every other Catholic. I didn’t push the vaccine and neither did any one in the church I attend, not the 4 priest or the Bishop. The Pope did. Please stop using a broad brushstroke regarding my faith. Whether the rest of what you said is true or not, I stopped trusting in your knowledge is what is right and wrong.

There is a saying. ‘A fish rots from the head down.’ And the head man, the pope, wears a fish symbol on his head. A symbol of the pagan god Dagon.

I have seen it happen in other corporations, and indeed denominations ARE corporations. When the leadership is bad, it starts rotting. Not from the feet up, but from the head down. Just as our nation is now being judged by the world as ‘rotting’.

I don’t believe all people in the CC are bad, but the leadership is, indeed, rotten......just as our current Administration/bureaucracy.

And God and His people had better start realizing that while things may start out with good intentions always ends up with the greediest most power-hungry at the top. And then the ‘rot’ sets in. Consider this:

Proverbs 29:2

When the godly are in authority, the people rejoice.

But when the wicked are in power, the people groan.

I disagree with you about the rotting starts at the top and goes down. I think good starts at the bottom and works it way up. Yes, power corrupts. Unlike this Pope who is on this earth for a very short period of time, my faith has been here since Jesus established it. We have had bad Popes before and our Church survived. Jesus said “upon this rock I will build my Church and the gates of the netherworld shall not prevail against it”. I think I will trust in God and leave you to whatever you believe in.

Agree my Catholic friend..there were plenty of Greek Orthodox priests (my faith) who fell for what they were told about the virtues of the vaccine. There were monastics on the other hand who did not.
