I’m so sorry for the difficulties of a cancer diagnosis for your grandson Teresa, and the health of your family being compromised.

I would encourage you, if you were trying to follow the Lord and do what you thought you were all suppose to do by getting vaxxed, take peace in that. If you didn’t think to pray about it or seek the Lord’s wisdom, simply repent for “leaning on your own understanding”, and take peace knowing you are forgiven! 💕

Going forward, know that the Lord can and will, use everything for our good and His glory, that we will give Him. He is working in you and your family. His desire is to draw us closer to Him, and change us more into His likeness. This often requires suffering. Scripture tells us “Jesus learned obedience through the things He suffered.” And He was perfect! So we need to learn even more.

I pray you will not let the enemy steal your joy and peace. (Fear, shame, and condemnation are not from God.). I pray you will see the Lord working, through the cancer, not in spite of it. That you and your family are drawn closer to Him, and bear testimony to His goodness in these difficult circumstances.

We definitely saw His goodness when our 4 1/2 year old was diagnosed and treated for 2 1/2 years for leukemia starting in 2018. She was healed, praise God, but the difficulty of those years was showered with His grace and help. He was working His good will for her and all of us. There were things accomplished that had eternal value during those years that we are so grateful for. We tried to trust the Lord, no matter the outcome, and saw our faith, and the faith of our children, strengthened through the trials.

I pray this gives you encouragement and hope for the new year. 🙏🏼💗

@Rosie…all I can say is beautifully written, and graciously given. I can’t agree with you more! “ALL THINGS work together for good, to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.” Romans 8:28
