Jeff, am I the only one aghast at the disrespect shown (by Governors etc.) to the President? You may not like him personally, but doesn’t the Office itself deserve respect? What happened to good manners?

And I hate how some MAGA people immediately protest whenever Trump says something kind and complimentary to one of the evil rogues he is either firing or exposing. Trump always chooses the dignified route of granting respect to the individual and their success in their lives having achieved reaching the roles they are/were in. It’s not an endorsement of their actual “product/service” at all, it’s just a President returning respect back into the system. Living by example. We can admire your skills and hate what you did at the same time, and want you to be as far away from our government as possible.

We’ve lived so long in a society that believes humiliating attacks is the way to power. But Trump lets them humiliate themselves while remaining courteous to them on their way out, or while he is in the process of some strategy. People recently squawked over his complimenting Bourla. But all I saw was Trump being courteous to his success “as an individual” regardless if it led to evil, then laughed when Bourla was booed. It wasn’t a sign of Trump abandoning us, it was his tactic of letting the people respond while he remains dignified from his own position.

That was wordy. I hope it explains what I’m seeing from the cheap seats.

I think the whole first term "Little Rocketman" is a good example of the various tools Trump uses to get things done for the American people. Identify a problem. Then the main perp. Directly confront them with boisterous verbage, setting them back on their heels. Get them wondering if he really means it. Sometimes they fold, and sometimes they need further nudging (aka Canada and Mexico tariffs). Then when he gets what he wants, he becomes more cordial. (Sometimes he will add in a dollop of "kill'em with kindness".) In the end Trump wants less perpetual conflict for America, whether military, economic, or social. Once people understand this, we won't allow any media, good or bad, whip saw us. Hopefully JD Vance is taking notes.

Most political figures are opportunists ... and they adopt 'postures' ... and/or assume this or that label which they hide behind. And opportunists just fall in line to go along in order to get along.

Recently, we have been seeing a huge shift in the 'conservative' Republican Party that just loved to hate Trump. Now that Trump 2.0 is no longer Trump 1.0, what do we see? We see the useless party hack dummies falling in line with the program because they now know that there is 'a new sheriff is in town' and that he is not going away. And they further sense a permanent political shift in the country in this no counter-revolutionary restructure of everything. And so they are falling in line and getting with the program because they fear that they will become irrelevant by doing anything else.

It is the relatively few who actually few who hold real values and moral principles who move history at key points in historical time. The rest are mere placeholders.

Trump's political appointee's are the real movers and shakers who are moving the needle, very smart and capable people. And they have values not for sale to the highest bidder.

I think he has always been like this… the problem with his first term was he being stabbed in the back left and right … he was in fight mode the whole time. This time, he has a good team (friends who have his back) and he can be the man he is. I remember him from his show and he was always complimenting the person he was firing. They left with their heads high.

they left with their heads hugh..

YES. He never tried to simply destroy the ones he fired on that show, he simply schooled them. HOW did you fail the team? WHAT harmful decisions did you make? HOW did you cause the project to fail? Not to tear them apart, but ti educate them, equip them to perform better in a future situation.

Some pushed back in fight mode.. and they were schooled, gently but firmly. Hurt egoes tend to shoot back. Trump's goal even in that game show was to equip and help his contestants.

He is doing that now, except in this game the stakes are YOOOOODGE. And I believe he understands that this time YOOOOGE means win or fail utterly, and perhaps permanently.

It is still great fun to watch these swelled headed prigs bloviate, chuff and huff, elevate themselves twelve nanometers above the rest.... and be exposed as the utter fools they have been for decades.

i've been collecting "used" books from 2016-2021 or so; you know, the ones that the DeepState SwampCreature Fedocrats were paid handsomely for (by Tax-Money?) to peddle to the Center-Leftist Progressive Class (old white folks with money and education). Things like; 45 Ways to Fight Trump (The Resistance Handbook). Also softer more broadly seductive; The Bill of Obligations, and Last Best Hope. But also things like; Lies My Teacher Told Me (1995), a critique of public education textbooks' glossing over of history including DeepState-Corporate shenanigans. Truly this type of "literature" has been around for a long time-extoll your side, trash the other guys, enact some influence (mind-control), make some $$$. Or write to make a name for yourself, remain relevant, freshen up one's resume.

Of course i also have the Counter-narratives: American Marxism, Red Handed, and many others, but we'd need several AI platforms to sift through all the stacks of this crap (from 1860-2025) to "fact-check", connect all the dots, and macro-analyze what, if any, impact all of these (former forests) door stoppers have made upon actual policy and lives.

Is it mainly an American enterprise, argument for arguments' sakes? Simply a revenue generator whereby semi-intellectual propogandists and publishers hawk a mostly-mediocre product to a literate mass of volunteers who pine to be enlightened, educated and comfort their minds that they've looked into things and informed themselves? I didn't even mention the biographies where former presidents and everyone else gets their say with plenty of pay.

In the era of Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, ChatGPT, Substack, declining college enrollments, publishing industry changes, and DOGE, will this genre of "political books" continue as it has?

If she didn’t like the look on your face, she was quick. I learned to stay out of her range. I grew up having no respect for her… and she died two weeks ago and those things are what she is remembered for. I did the opposite of what she did and my kids thrived and they are amazing, well adjusted young adults. Both are doing jobs the serve others…. Maybella you cannot judge others based on the blessings you were dealt. You don’t know for certain where you’re own limits are and had you been handed the kind of children some people are, who have severe defiance issues that don’t respond to the typical natural consequences and showering of love the way the average child does, you may not have been successful at all. Part of your success was because you were given children with specific types of temperaments. It’s unfair to assume that it’s ALL in the power of the parent. I know this firsthand. I raised my children (all three had multiple disabilities) with boatloads of love and encouragement, constantly, but natural consequences and love and positive reinforcement never worked with their autistic and Asperger’s minds. They didn’t learn respect naturally along the way like other kids did. They didn’t learn boundaries and had a very hard time with right and wrong. They were also very impressionable by the outside world because of all this. They became very difficult to raise at one point and we finally had to create boundaries using negative consequences. They became the best behaved children in their classes and are extremely respectful today compared to their peers, so somehow turned out exactly like yours. 🤷🏼‍♀️ I did it differently than you because I was dealt children with different natures.

Don’t assume you’re approach is appropriate for all types of kids or that a different approach than yours is to blame for those children who end up being captured by our society and brainwashed to hate their parents regardless the love they were given.

Then you were blessed with not getting the obsessive defiant disorder characteristic that my three autistic children ended up with, due to the actual disability or their vaccines - I don’t know which. 🤷🏼‍♀️ But many children are not so compliant.

I was very compliant as a child and eager to please. I wouldn’t dare think to bad mouth my parents or talk back to them, but then I was constantly terrified of getting a spanking or being sent into the corner. It worked. I was considered the most respectful kid in my class and my friend’s mothers always doted on me wishing they had ten just like me. I was raised with a firm hand and I know that given my nature, without that firm hand I would have become a mess. I saw that clearly after leaving for college and losing ALL parental emotional and financial support yet still very much needing it, because I matured slower than my peers. It was a night and day difference. Had that firm, guiding hand remained with me until I graduated the many destructive mistakes I made through college and the next 8 years could have been avoided. Was it my wiring? Why were other kids so much wiser and matured sooner than me? But then there were those far worse than me too

I don’t think any of us can judge the appropriateness of any parenting style based solely on our own experiences.

However, one thing is for certain: more parents were stricter when I was a child and most of the kids were very respectful and grew into respectful adults than those of today.

Yeah I’m really over hearing that simplistic viewpoint of women being too emotional or stupid or whatever to vote. And yet it’s ok with them that men like Biden, Adam Schiff, John Brennan etc., can all vote but not Pam Bondi or Winsome Sears or Bobbi Ann Cox? Why restrict the votes of all women because certain women don’t vote like you think they should? I say, convince them of your viewpoint instead! I think we’ve been seeing a shift to more conservative women compared to the recent past, too.

GG's avatar

I have huge problems with men like Biden, Schiff, Brennan et al. I actually don’t have a problem with Bondi or Sears. What I have a problem with is the feminization of society, which is a result of women’s right to vote. If men had stood up to the onslaught of feminism and continued to lead, instead of abdicating that leadership to irrational, unreasonable women, maybe women voting wouldn’t be an issue. But they didn’t. And society isn’t better for it.

Expand full comment
GG's avatar

I didn’t include black men because I’m not convinced black men shouldn’t have had the right to vote. I am a woman and your knee-jerk, off topic response to my comment is more fodder for my beliefs.

Originally, the only people who could vote were property owners. That meant men. They made decisions based on logic and reason and what would be best for their family and property. Then women, who tend to make decisions on logic, reason, feelings and fairness, got the vote. I don’t believe the world has improved socially since women began voting. I think a lot of the garbage we see in public schools is perpetuated by women. I think a lot of the disintegration we see in families is because women left their families behind to work in the corporate world, where they push their ideas of “fairness” and “equity” and we see how that has gone. Women have invaded every masculine space and demanded they become feminine and it’s been to our detriment. Men were created to lead. I think I heard it said once that men provide/build the table and women set the table. I’m not saying life was perfect when we followed those precepts before, but we didn’t have women demanding they be allowed to kill their children, or sterilize their children, or any of the other bizarre things we hear about today.

We seem to have discarded God’s natural order for things and if you suggest maybe God’s order is best, random commenters will infer you’re racist for not saying black men shouldn’t have been given the right to vote, when that wasn’t even the point of your post to begin with.

Expand full comment
My Favorite Things's avatar

Actually, my reply wasn’t off-topic, even though you have changed your comment to remove the reference to black men voting. If you’re going to say women shouldn’t vote neither should black men since they commit most violent crimes percentage wise. We should include homosexuals and transgenders. Let’s also eliminate anyone that wasn’t born and raised in America. Low-income people shouldn’t be allowed to vote either. It never ends.

There are many excellent women entrepreneurs and managers. There are also women that are excellent political leaders. Some have been named in previous posts by others, but there are many more like Sarah Palin.

It’s ridiculous to blame all of societies flaws on women. It shows a narrow mind and a limited ability to think critically.

There’s an agenda by some wealthy people to weaken western society. The people that want to weaken us are predominantly male. Do some research. If you’re going to blame anyone start with George Soros and work from there.

Anyhow, further discussion is pointless because we have vastly different views on women.

BTW some of the greatest injustices and atrocities that have ever happened when men have been in charge.

Regarding passage of the 19th Amendment:

"In the House of Representatives, the vote on May 21, 1919, was 304 to 89, with Republicans voting 200-19 in favor and Democrats voting 102-69 in favor. In the Senate, on June 4, 1919, the vote was 56 to 25, with Republicans voting 36-8 in favor and Democrats voting 20-17 in favor. These numbers show that while Republicans provided stronger proportional support, Democrats also contributed significantly to the amendment's passage." - Grok

Maybe they WERE successful in a mind virus that can be controlled by 5G etc etc. I know some of that still skirts the edges of conspiracy nuttiness, but there is a lot of logic underlying it all and at this point nothing would surprise me.

I mean sometimes I’m flabbergasted that so many people will protest Trump so deeply that they would allow their own arms to be cut off without anesthesia before they ever changed their perspective. It takes something really powerful to cause a man to abandon their self-preservation instincts like that. If not an outside spiritual power, then maybe it IS a medically induced bio-weapon?

While I think President Trump's response to Maine's governor was amazingly restrained, this woman deserved to be shredded, but instead will be investigated, hence the trap.

These people consider good manners as a sign of weakness. They are vipers and only understand viper-like responses. When you think about it, reciprocating their viper-like reactions shows you understand them. Escalating to a viper-like response could actually be considered love since it could change their behavior to something resembling respect and then on to humility.

But something evil, perhaps Communist, and definitely globalist took hold and is using this issue to make us fight each other, and to even reduce the population by sterilizing children. This IS a biological issue and biology shows clearly two sexes, period. The number of people born with true, actual intersex is so scantly few, less than .000001% of the population and nothing at all to do with a choice of identifying. So for THOSE rare few that truly are born with both sexual organs, for THEM you deal with it on a case by case basis and use kindness and humanity to help guide them. But you DON’T go making sweeping, intrusive norms for the remaining 99.999999% so that ANY slimeball can climb aboard the .000001% train.

They don’t have a “right” to participate in sports and spaces based solely on their gender identity either. I can’t believe this guy represents teaching our country’s children.

The best red pill re: men can't be women that I have ever seen came from Candace Owens. She was interviewing Ray J and a black man dressed as a woman and was talking about someone named Rachel I believe who was born white but somehow as she grew up began to think she was black. Until one day, she fully and wholeheartedly believed herself to be African American. When Candace related this tale to her guests the man/woman said you cannot just say you're black! And that was the gotcha moment, if you can't reimagine your racial identity, then neither can you change your gender. It is a wonderful argument for the genderly impaired 😆

Expand full comment
Lone Star exile's avatar

Her name is Rachel Dolezal, and she became the president of the NAACP chapter in Spokane, Washington...either a wacko or just an identity grifter who figured out how to game the system. After being exposed by her white parents she was forced to resign in Spokane before moving to Tucson, where she worked for the Catalina School district under a different name (Nkechi Diallo). She got fired there for her photos on OnlyFans...to be continued.

Expand full comment
RunningLogic's avatar

The only thing is, racial identity is less clear than man/woman. It’s not something you can really pin down as easily because skin color is a continuum and the other characteristics are nebulous and not easily defined. Lots of people have mixed origins so you can’t really put them in a neat category. Race is a concept invented by anthropologists and not something that is firmly rooted only in biology. The categories of “race” and perspectives on who belongs in what category have changed according to whose point of view it is and different times in history. It’s not a constant like men/women.

Expand full comment
Beth M's avatar

Yes, but the example I gave of Rachel she was 100% white, born to two white parents. Because of social and environmental influence she felt like she was black. Sort of like Kamala I guess

Expand full comment
RunningLogic's avatar

100%? Well she had what our culture currently considers to be “white” parents but to say she was 100% white you’d have to define white and see what origins her grandparents and great grandparents and beyond were. I understand the point you were trying to make (and the Rachel you’re referring to is Rachel Dolezal, a former NAACP chapter president) but I don’t think they’re equivalent. If we hadn’t heard from her parents or if she had been an orphan with unknown origins, no one would have been the wiser. She “looked” or “passed” for what she said she was. The vast majority of trans just don’t look like what they’re pretending to be unless they have extensive surgery (and even then it’s often not sufficient) or pictures are photoshopped. Race is more of a social construct than sex is. I just don’t think they’re comparable.

Doctors that just prescribe drugs and shots routinely need to be brought to account, but people need to take responsibility for their own health.

'24 I went on the hunt for laundry detergent without added olfactory-stimulators, a product which wouldn't cost an arm+leg, and found it at BJ's. Spent $30 for a pail which lasted for 11 months. I would have spent a lot more in one year just buying the off-brand liquid stuff.

You need to find a product line that removes biofilm. That is why stink is left on clothes even after washing. There is a line called Protekt but it is quite pricey. I believe it is made in Europe and there is a US distributor out of Las Vegas. It really works.. I received a bunch of their product line as part of a radio station fundraiser, and they are amazing. They contain a stabilized probiotic that eats biofilm.Biofilm is to germs and stink what water is to fish. They can’t live without it. The products are safe enough to be applied directly to skin. I keep hoping there will be a less expensive knockoff someone comes up with.

I'm mistaken--it does have fragrance--but so little that I don't notice. Have to look further I guess--next year, since it takes me a year to go through the pail. I was in a pharmacy yesterday getting an assessment done by a pharmacist.

In Canada: pharmacists can prescribe meds for a number of ailments. Her GP only works Monday to Thursday, from 9-3 🤨. At 11:30, after waiting 2 hours, the Urgent Care Walk-In nurse assessor couldn't get her scheduled to see a doctor until 2 pm so a call was made to the pharmacy but I digress...

So I'm mum's translator & medical advocate and accompanied her into the assessment slash vaccination office.

I saw 4 signs for Pfizer and Moderna Covid19 jabs. They noted:

- "room temperature" injections.

- "ingredients": none which included SV40 particulates or LNPs

- NONE included warnings such as "rare" possible adverse events like anaphylaxis or heart attack or stroke or can cause autoimmune disease or death...

A sign read: "Please remain in store for 15 minutes after receiving your vaccine".

No waiting room or chairs to sit on just in case you get woozy. Nope. Please just wander around the drugsstore for 15 minutes, checking for Valentines Day chocolate sales, whilst praying you don't keel over and expire on site while onlookers remain in the jab line, awaiting their turn at Russian Roulette.

Like this poor woman did. In the same drugstore chain we were in yesterday.

Died. "Allegedly" minutes after getting a safs & effective Pfizer Covid19 booster shot.

Pay no attention to that conspiracy theory though...

I read his book on Kindle and looked up every single footnote. A lot were taken down, but that just proves he was over the target. I’m a HUGE Queen fan. The loss of Freddy Mercury from AIDS that could have been cured made me very sad. The overlap of Fauci and the Welcome Trust bothered me because it arose again with COVID. RFKJ has a lot of work ahead of him.

I feel for RFKJ being that his family doesn’t support him. His cousin Caroline embarrassed herself by coming out against him before his confirmation. I’m sure JFK would have been very disappointed in her.

@FourWinds- I refuse to use the word vaccine when talking about the Covid shots. I'm of the belief that vaccines PREVENT illness (Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Smallpox, Polio, etc.) and won't accept the changes 'they' made to the definition.

Expand full comment
Kathy's avatar

Many of the vaccines on your list still allow for shedding and transmission. When I used to give blood, they would ask questions such as “ have you been around anyone who had the oral polio vaccine?” or the smallpox vaccine. Apparently the viruses sometimes hang out in our gut and also and waste water as well. Shedding can be by breathing as well . In that measles outbreak at Disney World, 70% of the children and adults who got the measles were vaccinated. Of course, their virus matched the vaccine strain and not the wild type virus. And nobody died. Someone posted on X an episode of the Brady Bunch that has been censored from streaming services. On the episode, every one of the kids, plus the father plus Alice all got the measles. They hung out at home playing board games. Mrs. Brady had a chalkboard where she listed all of the kids names and the various childhood illnesses, such as chickenpox, mumps, measles, etc. And when each kid would get it, she put a checkmark next to their name, knowing that they would never get it again. For most kids back then measles was just a bit of a rash and some days home from school. Of course there will always be a few immuno compromised individuals that can’t fight viruses normally, or people in countries that suffer from severe malnutrition and terrible sanitation . But look at the way we are finding out how multiple vaccines are damaging the immune system! If I can find the link to the Brady Bunch episode, I will post it sometime!

kittynana's avatar

@Kathy- I had Measles and Chicken Pox- both were the worst cases the dr had ever seen (of course. I'm 64 now)- and had the Rubella vaccine in 5th grade but found out it was no good. The day after my first born was born, I got another Rubella vaccine.

kittynana's avatar

@Running- I know but those HAVE been erradicated from this country. Those people that haven't been vaccinated have contracted the diseases from others who are also unvaccinated so the diseases haven't been wiped out worldwide. But I'm trying to slowly unwrap the whole autism thing; are more kids actually autistic (because of the shots) or have parents 'persuaded' their kids' doctors to sign the paperwork showing they are 'autistic' in order for the kids to get SSD or both? Because I've seen both. I just don't know which is more prevalent.

I love the elimination of DEI in the military. Trans has no place there. First of all, taxpayers should never be on the hook to pay for “gender affirming care” which is harmful all around. Secondly, what kind of medication regime do those seeking chemical transition have to be on, and how would that interfere with war fighting/deployments? Third, what mental challenges are these people facing? The goal of military is to be ready for war or intervention when necessary (hopefully rare or never, of course), not to make unqualified people feel good about themselves.

This doesn’t mean I hate trans people who are minding their own business, everyone is just not qualified for every job.

Having deployed twice when “Don’t tell” was going on. Being on a ship with gays had its unique problems. The “don’t tell” helped some but there were a lot of people uncomfortable showering and changing in front of them. There is not a lot of options on a ship. My second deployment, one of the five female pilots was gay. She was great but I still got comments from the others that they didn’t want to be alone in a stateroom with her. The focus should be on the mission and not distractions. Trans takes it to a whole new level. A few years ago, my office was one of the few who were not behind secured doors. A trans military person was being processed out and I was asked if he could use the unoccupied deck in my office. Holy cow… this guy was so far out there, it was a joke that he was in the military. He had no military bearing whatsoever. The military is a not a place for social experiments…. We need warfighters not queens.

For weeks Jeff has been talking about the winning strategy of hitting them fast and furious from all sides. Look at DOGE, freezing payments, firing and laying off mass numbers of people. They seem to be able to go in and day one accomplish a lot, no?

The Hep B shot is a no brainer. It even came up in the hearings but was handled perfectly not by RFK Jr but by Rand Paul (thank God). This is the issue he can easily say that there is no science recommending giving a two hour old infant a vaccine for a disease in which they have no known risk factors for (unless we need to investigate what nurses, doctors and janitors are doing to the babies in the hospital nurseries). He can take it off the Day 1 recommendation and move it to a higher age. This will provide immediate relief to all mothers and protect the low income mothers from Child protective Services. This MUST get done quickly.
