Good morning all!

This is the day the Lord has made, we will rejoice and be glad in it! Thank you Father for Jeff Childers and his amazing wisdom, insight and humor he shares with us all!

Infertility crisis is directly related to Biological insults. There is no question that the Quaxcine is implicated, however long before "gender bending" hormones without question set the stage.

Bi-gender frogs anyone? Toxic chemicals on "food" that bio-accumulate up the food chain.

There are details, lots.

Anxiety ? There is no adult who does not have their share. The Medical Cartel, (delivery boys for any and all Vaxs and Quaxs) prescribed SSRI drugs to clueless Americans when they were not advocating Quaxcines... So

The gender ambiguous Specialist is, shall we say, highly suspect... but I digress

Lets re-convert the comment section, as Mr. Childers prefers into a Scipture fest now that Janet has retreated. Surely there are many who prefer that re-direct...

Again, no issue whatsoever with Scripture or giving thanks. Re-Read several times.

Just one personal example. My brother and his very liberal wife had a kid. They eat all organic, very little red meat (because that's bad for you.) So lots of chicken, fish and veggies. My observation of farmers markets are overrun with liberals.

Well their Son now 22 identifies as a female. He tried to commit suicide after coming out. They spent a bunch of money at a treatment center for his gaming addiction. He now lives in a group home, works part-time and wants to get feminine facial surgery.

If his delusions made him happy. Who am I to say because he's an adult now. Based on what his dad shares (which isn't much) he's not that happy.

So very sad.

PEL's avatar

A dear friend’s son morphed into a female. Full surgeries top and bottom and recently two more to correct hairline and make eyes less deep-set. And now finding issues trying to date. Well duh. What total cost, medically and socially, for this madness??

CitizenA's avatar

He has destroyed his body and his health forever. What a high price to pay to try to obtain a fantasy.

PEL's avatar

I know!!!. He is only in his mid-30’s. Beyond the surgeries he likely will be on hormones the rest of his life. The ones that lower testosterone are horrible for bone density. Where are the studies that show the long term effects? No older man with prostate cancer would ever take this willingly. They all, ever single one, hate it but it combats the cancer. What is this doing to the young man’s body? This alone horrifies me. Not to mention the likely weird Franken-vagina.

Hawk's avatar

How do they pay for all those surgeries?

Valoree Dowell's avatar

Why not just wear dresses? I mean, really.

Annette's avatar

Yeah, whatever happened to the Corporal Klinger approach??

MaryAnn's avatar

Friends with a 13 yr old grandson, now IDing as female, hoped the disphoria would end before puberty but it has only intensified. His parents are in counseling to get answers. Unfortunately, the guidance is ‘help him transition’. They have two other children impacted by this insanity. God is not acknowledged. 😢

Truth Seeker's avatar

Many are the casualties. It is tragic to witness. Since you posted an example that is crystal clear, and unambiguous, will add a few doctorate level observations.

Have not consumed any animal food for many decades...

Unlike all siblings have no degenerative joint conditions or the myriad of other maladies of a large cadre of carnivorous family members.

Relatively apolitical, until a miraculous healing from Derangement Syndrome.

Spend a fair amount of time studying behavior, in light of the aforementioned.

Your nephew is not happy, he is mentally ill.

Anthony S Burkett's avatar

Yes, it is very sad indeed... mental illness always is... no doubt from his wife's side of the family.

Abortion killed over 1 million babies. Not born... last year. That has something to do with the low birth rate for sure. Women are getting pregnant, Just opting to abort their baby . They are too inconvenient. Faith heals all wounds. These poor women have been brainwashed. Evil

Truth Seeker's avatar

Abortion is legal genocide, no question. However the abortion rates did not suddenly spike last year. Infertility has risen among the quaxed, the most likely, most prevalent explanation.

Oh my.....

Now there is a good example of Substack FAWNING.

I find such comments to have a high yuck-factor. Like Uriah Heep being obsequious. Or a member of Peoples' Temple brown-nosing to Jim Jones (and where did that get them?)

Anthony S Burkett's avatar

A., What is your concern about how others express their appreciation and value toward Jeff Childers? While I, too, sometimes find the overabundance of religious rhetoric to be a bit tiresome, what I don't do is criticize the efforts of others when they applaud and give thanks in their chosen manner... not only have you diminished any valid point you may have wished to espouse, but you have illustrated yourself as being nothing short of a bombastic asshole.

Anthony S Burkett's avatar

I had to say something... Try as I might to maintain a civil tone, trolls are still a trigger for me... I'm working on it, but to date, I can't help but give back in no uncertain terms what they dish out.

Truth Seeker's avatar

No issue with appreciation. However that is NOT the reason for a comment section. Comment section is for comments germane to the article.

Appreciation is built into well composed replies...

Benj's avatar

are you presuming to gatekeep the comments section? Did you make sure everyone has a copy of your guide to comments section etiquette?

A.'s avatar

Anthony, what is your concern about how I post here? You call yourself the Defender of Truth. Not a massive ego there, or anything..... I don't think you know the Truth.

You give away your own motives by calling me a bombastic asshole. And the irony is that you ARE criticizing others in this very comment. Making yourself look foolish.

You lost the debate right there,. Foul mouth. No real critical thinking ability. Go back to zero. And change your bombastic lying profile.

Sheesh -- the odd types you might meet on social media!

John of Oregon Fame's avatar

A. "...what is your concern about how I post here?". Our concern is, blogs develop a certain unspoken etiquete as how to conduct oneself. A certain level of courtesy and respect develops over time based on the tenor of the discussion of the commentors and the author. If a commenter, especially a new one listens, they will pick up on the tenor of it. If a commenter seriously breaches that tenor the existing community will let them know. All that is needed is for one to be respectful in commenting. Blatently challenging that tenor, especially after being informed, is a personal affront to the community and detracts from the commenter's validity and contribution to the discourse.

Johnny-O's avatar

Did you remind Anthony, the bombastic asshole commenter, of said unspoken etiquette?

Anthony S Burkett's avatar

I have a question for you... What's a troll like you going to do for new living arrangements when your mom decides that she needs her basement back?

A.'s avatar

There you go lying and making false assumptions again, Anthony. Bad boy! Bad troll!

What are we going to do with you?

That's it. I have a policy of not feeding the beasts. Shoo!

Anthony S Burkett's avatar

A, Don't go away mad, just go away... Shoo to you too!~

Florinda's avatar

Very true. The ‘bombastic’ insult was uncalled for. I too think people get to express appreciation any way they like. However, the religious rhetoric does become tiresome, not because there’s anything wrong with anyone’s belief system, but because they always seem to assume that their beliefs are reality, the way it is, while everyone else is mistaken. It strikes me as a hivemind sort of thing and there’s nothing wrong with that, actually. I guess I just prefer folks who can think for themselves.

Silent scorn's avatar

You actually have a paid subscription to be here complaining. That’s dedication to self inflicted misery!

A.'s avatar

I don't think you are getting your facts quite right, but anyway.....

I may be here studying the native religious extremists. Who knows? They are a bizarre type, indeed. Even though I do know cultists and the world of cults.

S.P.H.'s avatar

Obviously, A. Last sentence sums it up.

A.'s avatar

Cults are one aspect of my field of studies,

I assume you don't know much about fields of studies. Of any sort.

S.P.H.'s avatar

The only cult you don't recognize is the cult you are in.

Laura Eide's avatar

You seem to thrive on controversy. Have you studied a condition called ODD? I hope you get better. I suggest a course of study in manners too.

Silent scorn's avatar

Well, lots of material to make yourself miserable with! Not a native of the USA, correct?

I am Canadian, my friend. The normal decent sort that populated this country and built it over 400 years. At least we have far fewer WOKE-folk than the U.S. does. And a very low number of religious extremists. Fair amount of mainstream Judaism and Christianity here though. Which is good.

My field is Evolutionary /Depth Psychology. This forum is happy hunting grounds for examples of how things go wrong in the human Attachment System, and what manifests from that problem. People just offer it up to me on a platter. Including Jeff.

Though oddly enough, very few show any interest in the explanations out of this field. Even though I can answer why COVID-mania took so many minds down. People seem to just glaze over at the actual answers, but then later they will be back to asking urgently, What Happened?

PEL's avatar

As a Canadian I hope you check out fellow Canuck, Elizabeth Nickson’s Absurdistan substack.

John of Oregon Fame's avatar

A. You've become the "yuk" factor on this blog, and I suspect you're proud of it. Now tell us so.

A.'s avatar

Whoa, John. You are heavy on using projection today. That seems to be your own unacknowledged problem.

You are off-putting to me. But I bet you never see it that way. Because it suits you.

Where is all the supposed Christ-like behaviour, John? I see none of it from your sort. Just foul insults to others outside your cult. Which is the way all cultists behave.

The religious cultists here could certainly use a breath of fresh air and some reality. I have never come across a group like this before. They are bizarre! Is this MAGA? So one group of bizarre extremists at the WOKE/Democrat end, and another equally bizarre extremist group at the other end.

And you think America is going to recover through this kind of double nonsense?

John of Oregon Fame's avatar

There it is, the A response. I have been duly chastized and humiliated. Well done"A".

A.'s avatar

You're welcome. Now try to be a better boy.

A.'s avatar

But I do notice a lot of cult-types on this Substack. Who gave up their minds and their agency to allow their god-of-the-moment to take power. And keep them safe? Because that is the idea -- the chosen god is supposed to help keep you safe if you have not developed as a full adult. If you have dependency needs still,

But what if those "authorities" have other things in mind? Like the chosen gods/authorities of the COVID years.

Donna Oliphint's avatar

There are several substacks that you might find more appealing.

A.'s avatar
11hEdited

You too, Donna, Instead of being snarky, why not go look at alternatives for yourself?

Or do you not want to be exposed to anything but your present groupthink?

Need to stretch your mind! After all, Jeff started this Substack asking COVID questions, a theme which fits in with my comments, So why are you attempting to shut down that conversation? Were you a COVID-maniac?

Maha's avatar

Why do you assume Donna, or anyone following Jeff's Substack don't follow and read other sources? For the most part, I would RECOMMEND Christian based "groupthink". It has significant benefits, and can correct many anti-social and personally destructive behaviors. Adherents tend to be good citizens, and stabilize the communities they occupy. Perhaps they are simply antithetical to your way of life, A?

A.'s avatar

I am a thinking Christian, Maha.

I have learned that the fundamentalist cultists call themselves Christians.... and are non-thinking.

Craig Warhurst's avatar

I pray that the “blindness” that you suffer from will be lifted and you will be able to repent and receive God’s Grace …. While you still can!🙏

A.'s avatar

Oh, another fundamentalist cultist with a big ego. But little understanding of the real world. This forum is full of them, on the free days. They camp-out here.

I pray for you too, my friend, that you will awaken, And grow up.

Truth Seeker's avatar

A cult is simply an assemby of people not a "type"

You do not comment on germane concepts from the articles,

but attempt redirects... while playing the authority card you decry.

A.'s avatar

Oh,,...not another "Truth Seeker"! They all call themselves Truth Seekers or Truth Defenders here. When they are often quite the opposite. Too funny! That is con-artistry supreme. Presenting yourself as THE Truth Teller in advance, so that no one can refute your statement.

You are incorrect about what cults are. They have a very specific definition. But I don't expect you understand much about such issues.

So.....how long have been in your cult?

Truth Seeker's avatar

A"ster", not a presentation, a direction. A life long missive.

If one does not seek the Truth, one would no re-cognize it

when it arrives...

Redirects are not your thing...

A.'s avatar

No, the problem is that YOU do not understand the connections between topics,

You need to do far more good reading.

A.'s avatar

I don't think you would know any truths if they came up and bit you!

But then she got all upset about supposed Christian nationalists oppressing women, which seemed kind of contradictory to me, because if there are going to be fewer and fewer Christians (according to her at least), how would they get enough power to control these things?? She did seem to be really bothered at my suggestion of attrition though, so I found that telling.

I suspect that the couple cited in the article may really be worried about their kid having autism, but they can't say that in polite liberal conversation. So they say they are worried about unvaccinated kids in their classroom.

1 in 31 kids who were 8 years old as of a few years ago were diagnosed with autism, and the rates are still going up several percent by each birth year.

As RFK Jr said last fall, 25% of the kids with autism have what is called level 3 autism. They need care all the time. Many of these kids cannot talk at all are not toilet trained, don't sleep through night, have very restricted food preferences, get agitated easily, and so on.

It's not uncommon that when these kids get to be adolescents they get violent. When a couple has a kid this badly impaired, it's beyond devastating. Even a kid with level 2 autism is devastating - those kids will usually not be able to live alone.

The mainstream media wants to paint the level 1 kids as being like Elon Musk or Bill Gates, or least being self sufficient and just as much a benefit to society as anyone else. Most aren't. Many of these kids will not be able to get a job that will pay a living wage, and understanding the social skills needed to properly raise a child will be beyond most of these kids' abilities.

I've got two adult children who have been affected by vaccine injury and/or PANS/PANDAS. I suspect PANS/PANDAS is an unintended consequence of the vaccine program. I have friends and family who have kids that were more seriously injured than my kids.

I think he meant it both ways, actually. Jeff really wants to be taken as a Substack god. Many of them do. Not so unusual.

In fact a lot of them ASSUME they are in the Pantheon of Substack gods once they sign-up to rent a page on the Substack platform.

You have a point, now that I think about it, Jeff's a lawyer and has a healthy ego by trade. And he has and is being noticed. Still, I ride along because his researched insight is thought-provoking. So if he needs that status it's not hurting me.

Yes, from what I read he is a successful lawyer, and he brings in a very lucrative revenue from several Substacks and newsletters, So I expect that he has a very strong ego as well. Jeff is not the humble type.

I ask great questions, TS. But very few here understand them. That would be mainly the religious extremists, who have very closed minds and seem not to have been exposed to a wide range of ideas.

Sometimes the only answers they offer are strings of silly emojis.

So why are you using this comment forum as a bully pulpit? Same as the other cultists here.

And one BIG reason for the decline in school enrollment is that it is a silent vote against government indoctrination of liberal ideologies while stifling any conservative views. More people are home schooling because of the grooming of our kids, both ideologically AND sexually.

shayne's avatar

My first thought too. We homeschooled for the same reason. 80's and 90's.

Melissa MB's avatar

Me too. And grandkids too…homeschooling that is

MnmMom's avatar

Your comment is right on the nose!!

Even in this crazy world, we have the blessing of seeing 3 (home educated) kids marry well to wonderful committed Christians, solid marriages AND each of them are wanting kids - concerned about this world but not fearful because their hope is in Christ Jesus. Not perfect marriages, not perfect finances, underpaid for their skill level and work ethic, BUT their lives and hope for the future is in their relationship w Christ. (My husband & I take no credit for this, God has been gracious despite our failings and provide great teachers that these young people listened to)

Our church has enjoyed seeing about 1 baby dedication a month for the last year - some months more. Our pastor sweetly noted this recently after announcing a new birth that the birth rate may be dropping other places but not at our church family. God bless our pastors and others like them who provide solid bible teaching, share God’s word boldly and serve their congregation compassionately - even in the heart of unfriendly, blue states. Curious, has anyone else seen a blossoming birthrate at your church?

Roger Kimber, MD's avatar

We have; I am guessing that the average # of children in young families is 4, with 6 being not uncommon. We live in the heart of Amish country but are not an Amish church (though with some ex. Amish in the congregation.

Roger Beal's avatar

In the ten years we've attended our PCA church, we've seen the membership grow by nearly two dozen YOUNG families. When we first arrived, the place was a senior center. The Lord has provided youth and new life to our church family!

Indeed, parents that can still think rationally are awakening to the dangers of public (and private) schooling. Most states have anti-parent laws, especially blue states, where CPS threats hang like a “sword of Damocles” waiting for one wrong signal, like refusing to call your boy a girl. The entire education system, except for a few holdouts, is indoctrinated in this DEI Marxist identity destroying ideology from pre-K thru PhD.

There’s another aspect to consider. Children up thru about age 7 are wired to imprint off of the visual and emotional state of their surroundings, a foundational way for our young to learn quickly. The puppet masters have known this critical fact for millennia, with church leaders in the 16th century often would say, and I’ll paraphrase “let me guide a child to age 7, and I’ll predict his whole life”. It’s why when you grow up with money and trust issues, a lot has to do with the worry, doubts and screaming fights your parents had during this period over survival. Now imagine the progressive mindset raising young children to fear everything around them, even life itself, and then walk into school where every neurotic manifestation is treated as a paragon of virtue by a mentally challenged school system.

It’s a recipe for absolute societal decay, and the conspiracy side of me thinks this was a plan all along. That said, it’s far better that the happy, mentally healthy side of the population have children, and the other side has as few as possible.

Matt L.'s avatar

More recently it (decline in public school enrollment) has to do with Trump’s immigration and deportation efforts. There’s been a decade long drop in enrollment, put even more precipitous in last year. My wife volunteers at local elementary here in blue state to help young readers. Enrollment drop this year vs. last was the talk at water cooler to start the year.

Lori's avatar

Glad to see deportations working.

Dana Hope's avatar

And the byproduct of said “educators” always voting liberal is that they are on the trajectory of voting themselves out of a job. They blame the birth rate decline when in reality they support all the agendas that are anti children & family. No procreating equals no children to teach equals closing schools. But they’re so much smarter than the rest of us.

Most don't and won't have a choice. This IS a nice model for big pharma that poisoned them, though. Most of the vaccines that were part of the initial roll-out before being "pulled back" caused either sterilization or chemical interruptions so great that the female cannot carry a child past a couple months. As well, when men took the same vaxxes, they became "sterility agents" for any sexual partner they may have in the future, vaxxed or not. Most people who took the vaxxes were left-leaning and liberal. The right and conservatives that did take them, most, did so under duress and outside of their "choice".

There never was a deadly virus.

C0vid was as staged and faked as the fake planes on 9/11.

There never was a virus, or need for lockdowns, masking or vaxxines. But most Americans don't know that because America is one of the most heavily censored countries in the world.

The Crown of England LOST a court case in Canada which ENDED MANDATES in Canada because this young man was charged with attending a gathering of more than ten people during lockdown. He won his case because THE CROWN COULD NOT PROVIDE EVIDENCE THAT THERE EVER WAS A SARS COV2 VIRUS.

Millions of vaxxed are dead. Millions more are sick and dying, or permanently vaxxine damaged for life. Funeral Directors are ordering 30% more Infant-Child size coffins, up from the 20% increase in '22. And THERE NEVER WAS A VIRUS.

So why is Donald Trump STILL LYING to the American people and telling them there’s a deadly virus and that the genocidal OWS vaxxine is safe, and to take it???

No, no planes hit the World Trade Center on 9/11.

And you can see it for yourself. Just watch the videos and you will see the perfectly executed controlled demolition of high-rise buildings, falling down into their own footprint, and dustification (Dustification is the end result of a successful demolition.)

Then ask the question 'What would happen if planes had hit the Towers?'

Answer; It would have sprayed death, destruction, twisted steel and body parts all over Lower Manhattan.

Mercifully that did not happen.

Because no planes hit the Towers on 9/11.

And all it took was a handful of faked videos of Crisis.Actors crying "I saw the plane hit the Tower!", and a fake video of a plane hitting a building playing CONTINUOUSLY for 72hrs to make millions of people believe that planes had hit the World Trade Center.

Its time to take the red pill.

I appreciated Jeff's comments about faith and happiness. Six years ago, I had an intense religious experience that made God's presence in my life undeniably clear. In hindsight, I see the anxiety I felt in my 20s and 30s sprang from the misguided belief that I was unworthy of God's grace. I was living my life like I had to earn the right to exist, which meant I was always anxious that I wasn't doing enough, achieving enough, being good enough. Now I understand that I receive endless grace, no matter what, and I am free. I live with deep, abiding joy.

Fascinating, somewhere recently I heard that Democrats demanded gerrymandering for black candidates because they admitted that their own base prefers white candidates over black candidates. Matt's avatar

Islam is the cradle of the antichrist and will usher in the tribulation. If you don't think the Lord allows his children to suffer you're ignorant or turning a blind eye to the current persecution in the church (Especially in Iran and Nigeria by muslims).

"For then there will be a great tribulation, such as has not occurred since the beginning of the world until now, nor ever will again. “And if those days had not been cut short, no life would have been saved; but for the sake of the elect those days will be cut short." - Matthew 24:21-22

I often say, "When the pages of The Book of Revelation begin to turn, there will be no stopping what is to come." As far as I am able to discern from my 72 years of life, and being a Christ Follower for 51 of those years, the pages have begun turning. The liberals are currently in verse 10.

Matthew 24: 4-14 Jesus answered: “Watch out that no one deceives you.

5 For many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am the Messiah,’ and will deceive many. 6 You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. 7 Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. 8 All these are the beginning of birth pains. 9 “Then you will be handed over to be persecuted and put to death, and you will be hated by all nations because of me. 10 At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other, 11 and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people. 12 Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold, 13 but the one who stands firm to the end will be saved. 14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.

Spot on. We praise Islam for saving the writings of antiquity and passing them along to the modern world, but few understand that the Moslems COPIED those writings. They INVENTED nothing. Edited to include Groks answer:

Christianity is the religion with the most followers worldwide, with an estimated 2.3 to 2.6 billion adherents, representing approximately 31% to 33% of the global population. It is followed by Islam (1.9 to 2.1 billion followers) and Hinduism (1.1 to 1.2 billion followers).

Yeah but they are closing that gap fast

The relatively good news is that as many as 75% of people called Muslims are not practicing Islamism and have no interest in it. Unfortunately, using history as a guide, the murderous one's rise to the top in most every one of these societies when conflict and political struggle occurs. Moderates who do not follow the diktats of Koranic butchery are themselves butchered. Jerusalem under the Mufti, and the Algerian War are two prime examples of this.

RunningLogic's avatar

Yes, they are forced to be Muslims because if they try to convert, the penalty is death.

I thought so...

I think it may be Christians.

yes we will.

Good article.

Skeptical Actuary's avatar

True. But I wonder if the lady quoted in the post was saying she was afraid of "unvaxxed kids" because it's not acceptable for liberals to say they are afraid of their kids having autism.

I guarantee you there are a lot of people of faith who stopped having kids after a child was so damaged by vaccines (became level 2 or 3 autistic) that they had to devote all their energy to that child, or were terrified what might happen to the next child.

“I was chronically anxious, a professional worrywart, until the day I had an unexpected religious encounter in 2013. My lifelong anxiety disappeared immediately and has never returned.”

Same here, except it was 4 years later.

It happened, of all places and times, on a grim winter morning looking out the train window at Bronx housing projects and thinking about nothing in particular. It had absolutely nothing to do with where I was or what was around me — bolt from the blue kinda stuff. Nothing has been the same since.

RunningLogic's avatar

Can’t help thinking that like Esther, God made that happen because “you were born for a time such as this.” I would venture to guess that your faith helped lead you to starting C&C and it has certainly helped build a following and a community ❤️

How did yours happen, Jeff? So fascinated to hear the details of these stories.

Cabogirl's avatar

Me too. I think he mentioned it once but I forgot what it was.

Copernicus's avatar

I'd appreciate hearing the story, Jeff.

I also am a Christian. Deeply rooted faith. And yet continue to experience anxiety about the things I can't control (which is everything, except myself).

After a couple years of diligent very good therapy with a Christian therapist, using 12-step framework as part of that work (no, no addictions but 12-steps offer a program of spiritual development and growth applicable to all: admitting powerlessness and surrendering to God's care and will, etc), I had reached a place last year of peace and acceptance of some hard stuff.

Then, six months ago my spouse died suddenly (no, not jabs). And my equilibrium went sideways. And then, a couple weeks ago, I ended up with emergency surgery for burst appendix. My equilibrium is still wobbly.

So much disruption on top of disruption for our kiddo and me.

I have called to mind your oft reminder that "Do not fear" is the most common command in the Bible. And yet, I cannot seem to turn off the fear.

I have found that visualizing Jesus standing in the boat on the stormy sea and hearing his words of calm are what seems to help in the moment.

It would be great to be able to say like you that my chronic anxiety disappeared and never returned. I truly want that bedrock ability to relinquish control and to accept "life as it is not as I would have it to be, so that I may be reasonably happy in this world and supremely happy in the next" (Serenity Prayer).

For those of us who found you only a couple of years ago, did you ever share your experience? If so, we would love to see a link. TIA!

MnmMom's avatar

Thank you for your post! ❤️🙌🏻❤️

Monterey's avatar

Fascinating. How exactly did it happen when you were looking out on the scenery going by from the train?

Lon Guyland's avatar

It’s very hard to describe. Abruptly and out of nowhere I just suddenly had this insight (or web of insights) about God, His relation to reality and to the Universe and His deep love (it’s no hyperbole to say God *is* love) for His children. I “saw” all this seemingly instantaneously. You might think I would have been astonished, but that’s not it at all. It was more like “Yes, of course”. It seemed so obvious and so natural that if anything I was slightly embarrassed for myself for not having seen it many years earlier. But I can tell you that I was changed: the guy who got off the train was not the guy who got on an hour earlier.

There’s more, a lot more, but I can’t do it justice here. Making it coherent would take more than can fit in a comment on a blog, so I guess all I can tell you is that trusting God makes complete sense.

Suffice it to say that the Father of All, the personal God of personal salvation, is the source and center of all reality. His love for *each* of us is boundless and inexhaustible. The Universe is in His hands and however much it may not look like it to us, everything is going to work out just fine. No matter what injustice is perpetrated on you or me, all will be set right *in due course* for those who trust in Him. I know that with absolute certainty, because that’s just how it works. It’s His loving Law, and He does not forsake His children.

I greatly wish I could tell you more, but that’s about all that will fit here.

Thank you for your interest.

Thanks for sharing. I can tell you that having had all of that downloaded to you in a second was absolutely from God. He did that for me on a particular issue 20 odd years ago. I knew it was him because I couldn't have come up with the thoughts he gave me on my own, but there was confirmation the following week from a whole different source. It was so cool.

Husband and I hoping and praying for salvation for a couple of his nephews. They're great young adults, and we just see the possibilities for them if they were to embrace the Lord. They're not there yet, but we are praying for God to open their hearts just like he did yours.

Good morning C&C! I’m picking up a new friend from the shelter this afternoon. A 2 year old Siamese cat who is so sweet and whose owner had dementia and had to surrender her.

God’s blessings on all of you for He is good and His mercy endures forever. Have a blessed day!

PamelaZelie's avatar

Wonderful. Give that kitty a hug from me.

We adopted a little dog, from a shelter, 3 years ago. She is a darling.

Karmy's avatar

I will. She’s a snuggler. She got spayed so she stayed there to heal up before we brought her home to a house with another cat and dog. It should be interesting times in the next few weeks. 😆

Good luck to you Karmy!

God bless u!❤️😃 both of you will have a better life together! 😊

Our other cat we adopted in December from the same shelter. Same situation, his owner went into a nursing home. He is a 7 year old Siamese (most of our adoptions over the years have been Siamese) and the funniest character. Has conversations with my husband…extremely talkative. And loves to eat. We put him on a feeding schedule and got him down to 14 lbs from 17. He runs ahead of us to his food dish when it’s time for his snack. This morning the cat and dog woke us up early by chasing each other down the hall and around the bed. It was the first time they’ve done that so looks like they are becoming friends.

I LOVE happy endings! My daughter & her family have just completed their 2nd adoption of rescue westies - the 2nd one is older (her former owner passed away)…both westies have adapted beautifully & all parties concerned are as happy as clams! 👍🏻🥰

Karmy's avatar

It makes the gift of their presence in our lives so much sweeter because we know we’ve given them another chance.

Bgagnon's avatar

Karma - hope you and your new kitty have a wonderful fun filled and long loving relationship! I’ve been going to the shelter a lot these days -looking for my kitty/ies!!! ♥️

"a young-ish couple who said they wanted kids, but sadly, there are just too many problems."

well, that's progress isn't it? They're moving from aborting them to actually avoiding having them in the first place. Good Move!

I agree that if they do not want to be parents, they need to think of this BEFORE conception, Not after.

Agreed, better not to have any than to kill them later on.

The news that progressives, with their multiple mental illnesses, are not having children to be raised in that craziness actually comforts me.

I am celebrating by dancing wildly to the tune of “Sweet Home Alabama”. Anybody with me?????

Juju's avatar

Wouldn’t it have been hilarious if the republicans in the TN senate blared that song and got up to dance while the democrats raged. 🤣🤣

Want a good example of manipulation-speak? This one, from PM Keir Starmer after his Labour Party's resounding losses in the British council elections yesterday (a bit like American mid-terms).

The Prime Minister said he was “not going to walk away and plunge the country into chaos” following a disastrous set of local election results.

The point was, he already HAD plunged the country into chaos, which is why his party was showing disastrous results. But he still insists on virtue-signaling and playing the stalwart saviour.

JasonT's avatar

Translation: This is one good grift and I ain’t giving it up.”

Mitch's avatar

that quote got me too

Dolph Bezoier's avatar

Needs to reverse his stated order: 'plunge the country into chaos' (done) and 'not going to walk away' (try sprinting?)

A.'s avatar

I knew when the Brits voted-in Labour at the general election of 2024 that they were shooting themselves in the foot simply in order to display their contempt for the previous Conservative government.

But this was a very costly stunt.

Durmstrang's avatar

To the fair, the Conservatives allowed mass migration, spending and tax hikes, trans mania, and lockdowns.

Starmer was one of Jimmy Savile's conquests. Sadly, he was damaged goods from way back, as are so many of the upper English class...

A.'s avatar
11hEdited

Well, you are right that the culture of the English upper classes has actually promoted the breakdown of the SELF, in order to insert the damage and values of CLUSTER-B types. They are a herd of vampires biting innocents to create other vampires. The more prestigious boarding schools are good for that.

Why? Because the British Network for over 2000 years has consisted of Psychopaths at the top, craving power to fill the void in their souls. And they mean to keep their lines going.

shayne's avatar
10hEdited

Absolutely A.... Buggery is big in the boarding schools. They learn this very early.

Politico Phil's avatar

...which feeds into the British invention of the Zionist movement. The Epstein files does not even begin to expose the buggery. Epstein Island was only a recruiting facility. The real horrors occurred at other facilities around the world of which the Zorro Ranch was just one example.

A.'s avatar

I'm afraid pedophilia is a big issue in any group with many people desperate to be powerful. It is a way of building submissives, who may later go on to bugger others themselves.

Politico Phil's avatar

Exactly. Pedophilia is only the introduction. Cannibalism is alive and well in the halls of power.
