Thanks Jeff for your perennial consistency! Blown away by yesterday days Special Edition.

Grateful thanks.

"The first one prevents Florida courts from applying or enforcing any foreign or religious law —including, but not limited to, Sharia— when doing so would violate state or federal constitutional rights."

The fact that I had to read this sentence and take it seriously, here, in the United States of America, blows my mind. That the possibility of enforcing any foreign or religious laws would even be a consideration in a court of law in our country is incomprehensible to me.

Oregon Kathy's avatar

Now let’s do it at the federal level. I wonder if there are any legislators interested enough in protecting our freedoms to take it on.

Politico Phil's avatar

Well, let's see... Out of a total US population of ~330 million, almost 1/3 or ~100 million are non-citizens, ie, aliens. Out of that, about half are ILLEGAL and the rest are on VISAS, an immigration program begun under the "conservative" Reagan nearly half a century ago. Under Trump, the VISA program has been expanded and is still in full gear. In addition, flights of aliens are still being flown into Canada from the Subcontinent, who then illegally cross over our northern border into America. The planned and continuing invasion of America has been in operation for a LONG time.

These "invaders" are not white Europeans from a Christian culture coming here to assimilate as a new American as in the 19th and early 20th centuries. Probably the vast majority of the invaders are from war-torn Islamic countries whose cultural background is hostile to Christianity and view the "white man" as the enemy oppressor. They have come to displace us and establish their own culture such as we are seeing in Minnesota (the New Somalia), New York City (Mamdani), the West Coast and other parts of the northeast and mid-America. When ONE-THIRD of the population is alien and largely Muslim, we should not be surprised when they set up their own Islamic legal system and move to displace the natives of America which they have always viewed as the enemy. We are now the "Indians of America" marked for extinction by the new invaders.

Jesus said to expect to be persecuted as he was. No place to hide. Just continue to live as he taught. Kind, forgiving and Compassionate. Pick up your Cross. It wasn’t easy for Him either, but the reward is greater than the pain of this journey!

Annie Rudy's avatar

Kind and compassionate and forgiving, yes. But also, Jesus and his followers never backed down from speaking Truth. Being kind doesn’t necessarily mean being silent. It’s not always truly loving to turn a blind eye.

Nancy plummer's avatar

He never said to be a doormat.

June's avatar

He also cleared the temple of tax collectors, called the Pharisees nasty names, cast out demons, and warned those who harmed children of severe consequences. He never said to be kind and loving to evil.

Politico Phil's avatar

This is a particularly horrific charge. America is the largest "consumer" of child trafficking. Tens of millions of babies have been sacrificed through "legal" abortion since 1973... over 50 years ago. Now abortion does not even require a "doctor" but is available in the home with a pill. The death rate is going to accelerate now unrecorded. God cannot be fooled.

White "Christian" America is committing suicide. Since 1973 when we were 90% of the total population, we now number less than 60% and declining rapidly. We are not even reproducing at a replacement rate and the immigrant population is outproducing us by several multiples. We are quite literally being replaced and we are ASSISTING in our own demise.

And the idiotic thing is Allah does not exist. A fairy tale so then the Muslim faith does not exist and there can't be blasphemy against something that does not exist (per Trump's tweet argument). There is only one God from the OT and the NT. I don't even recognize Muslim faith bc they are under illusions of some god named Allah.

Queen Hotchibobo's avatar

Oh, he exists all right. It’s Satan. Every god other than God is a false front for the enemy of our souls. Allah is just one of the more successful lies.

Lori's avatar

Not worried. We know what happens to Satan and his band of merry men at the end. They can create all the chaos they want but it does not matter. God wins the War.

Politico Phil's avatar

Yes, God Always Wins. That is not comforting. That is a warning. We should remember that judgement begins in the house of the Lord. God is no respecter of persons and He has repeatedly warned us that His judgement is particularly harsh upon those who are covenanted with Him who have apostatized and broken His covenant. The American people have a long history of breaking His covenant and His law which has only escalated with time. The Lord has been long suffering with us giving us ample opportunity for repentance yet we have persisted in rebellion that today is a bloody stain upon the history of America. If God always wins then we should be fearful of the consequences of His judgement... consequences which are now becoming all too real.

dancingtime's avatar

Well....consider that a large percentage of immigrants over the past 30 years came here with no expectation or desire to assimilate....they simply moved to a new neighborhood where they could make more money but expected to remain chained to their former cultural baggage. There is a reason why we used to have a quota system....thank Ted Kennedy for undoing that. IMHO, muslims have no business being here. It is not solely a religion.

MaryAnn's avatar

@Dancing: correct. Muslim-ism (is that a word 🤷🏼‍♀️) is the culture that dictates law, politics, and religion.

SHug's avatar

Apparently Johnny, you either have not looked into this matter, or you are excusing it. If you are not excusing it, then go look it up. There are real problems with this in FL, TX, NJ, MN - any many other states.

Nancy plummer's avatar

You should go into the larger cities in most every state. The muslims are WELL REPRESENTED from many countries within our cities, hospital systems, groceries, gas stations, etc. Go ahead and think it doesn't affect you. Just like the Data Centers areonly being built in congested areas where big power already exists. The water and electric bills massive increases will affect everyone in each state. Bury your head in the sand, by the time you pull it out to take a breath, your rights in your small town will be gone too.

JO you are so full of crap. Maybe step outside your mom’s basement once in a while and look around. They’re hiding in plain sight. Over the last 10 years, I notice that I never see them until something happens in the news—some raghead drives through a crowd or opens fire on a street full of party goers. Without fail, they appear walking around in their sheets in my neighborhood. “Taking a walk” with the family or parading in victory? I rarely see them otherwise, but I know there’s a hidden mosque within four blocks of my place.

Johnny-O's avatar

You mean a few terrorist attacks that our government helped to facilitate?

I'm so sorry a few people walking around scare you to death. Touch some grass bro.

Starsky's avatar

Who said I was scared “bro?” You’re the little bitch who claims they are harmless yet they only show themselves after one of their brainwashed cretins with a rug burn on his forehead comes out to do his programmed deed. They parade around with their ugly bagged-up women to let everyone in the neighborhood know they are here right under your nose. Outbreeding you. Just like cockroaches…when you see one, you know there are thousands more. And are they in the CIA? Of course they are. And no doubt you are one of them too. You parade around every day with your ridiculous drive-by outbursts.

Bitsy54's avatar

Take a look at England, Muslims have destroyed it. No go zones were allowed and now they have expanded the borders of the no go zones so it is “offensive “ for British citizens to fly the British St George flag or to walk their dogs in public. Same shit is happening in NY. I just hope NYC wakes up real soon and kabashes Mandami fast.

Navyo Ericsen's avatar

The backlash to that here in the UK is many rural villages and towns are proudly flying St George and Union Jack flags. The rise of populism here cannot be stopped no matter how they try. Starmer's popularity rating is around his ankles. At some point the dam will burst.

I’m puzzled. How can the authority of state judges extend beyond the interpretation / enforcement of state laws? Likewise for federal judges. I can understand when the supreme courts considers (but is not bound by) international law, or decisions made in other countries about similar but unusual cases, but all decisions must be based on the law of the land. Even fairness or morality can not be prime determinants.

Julie Ann B's avatar

Let’s get all the illegals out by whatever means necessary as soon as possible! They’re destroying our nation.

CHop's avatar

I agree. According to Sheila Holm, Sharia law was upheld in courts 3 times- I believe it was Texas. And take a gander to Dearborn, Michigan. They bought up all the businesses there and many have signs in Arabic, not English. There is a city in Texas, Epic City, that is also taken over by Muslims. Last summer I was in Cleveland and saw a woman working for a parking lot dressed in a full burka. This is what they did to Lebanese (see Gabrielle's Act for America substack) and Iran. We welcome all races and religions in America, but it is problematic if they done assimilate into our culture and laws.

JT's avatar

Exactly! Why the hell would any judge consider any laws other than those of the United States of America? Enough of this BS!

Good morning! Not to detract from the news stories today, but I need to send out a huge THANK YOU to the reader here who wrote about A Great Awakening back on Friday. I checked it out with a friend on Saturday and we LOVED it. What a beautiful film!

To everyone here, if you have the chance while it's still in theaters (I think they just had it in theaters through this week), SEE IT! You'll be inspired both spiritually and patriotically. ❤️

It wasn’t playing at the theater by us so we saw Project Hail Mary instead. Also a feel great movie. We are headed your way in two weeks! We will cruise from Seattle to Ketchikan and back through the inside passage. If you were me, how would you pack for outdoor activities? I'm coming from WI where it is currently 28F. I'm afraid of over-dressing.

Karen Bandy's avatar

In the Pacific Northwest you pack for everything and anything… rain, sleet, snow, and thankfully sunshine. Don’t be afraid of overpacking, and utilize layers. Throw in some gloves and a beanie.

Patti's avatar

I agree! Layers. Hats are a must for me. Accessories 😊 have fun!

St. Alia the Knife's avatar

I would pack with layers in mind. Our spring weather can go from drizzly and miserable to sunny and balmy in a few hours. If you dress in layers, you can "un-layer" to what is comfortable for you throughout the day. As you travel "north to Alaska" it will generally be colder, but layering still applies. You never know when Alaska will have a warm, sunny day! We visited Ketchikan when my BIL was stationed there in the late '90s. In early Sept. the weather was beautiful and it stayed light out until 10:00 pm!

Mrs. "the Knife"

@Jody- we did that in August!!! The bartenders, of which there were many (wink wink), told us the previous two cruises were cold and rainy. Ours was so got we had to find shade! It was glorious. Enjoy!!

I’m very much looking forward to the trip. Main focus is Ketchikan to do some personal research in their library. The rest of the stops will be gravy!

Julie Ann B's avatar

We did the Alaskan cruise last July from Anchorage to Vancouver and it was wonderful and stunningly beautiful. I brought a light jacket which I really didn’t need and a lightweight rain jacket that I did use. Even in July it wasn’t hot but it was beautiful touring weather.

cat's avatar

We went in May about 12 years ago and I recall we took hoodies and whatnot and layered for the weather. If you need a rain jacket or similar, you will likely be able to also buy what you need in the cruise ship's gift shop or at any of the shops you'll see where the ship stops.

I found out about it from reading Kurt Vonnegut's book,

He was there as a POW, and was bombed along with the German citizens.

I asked my dad about it, because I'd never heard of it, and he said that the US and UK bombed it because they knew the Soviets would end up with it, and they wanted to destroy it. There was no military purpose, and the war was almost over at that point.

I think it’s strange that in war there are rules? Don’t get me wrong happy to have them but you go to war/ battle and it’s escalated to this point but there are rules your suppose to follow. It’s seems contradictory in my head.

Juju's avatar

That’s a good question. I guess it goes to protecting the innocent on both sides and usually both sides care about such things. Unfortunately when you’re up against a country that uses their own innocent citizens as shields it becomes difficult. I like that we do our best to still be mindful of that with our attacks but I don’t see how you can beat an enemy like Iran if you let them use their citizens that way. Terrorism is a different kind of enemy that pretty much throws all the rules out the window.

Patti's avatar

Gotta play war games with the same set of rules IMO.

Here in Washington state we are losing because we are not recognizing that the left aren’t playing by our constitution/

Laws and using law-fare. So we take it to court to battle it for years. Courts here are stacked against us. So we lose. Over and over again.

I don’t want anyone killed/ injured nor do I want a war anywhere ever. Good morning Juju☀️

rolandttg's avatar

Sorry. That is simply not true. At all. You need to read "Other Losses" by James Bacque, and "Hellstorm", by Tom Goodrich. And get ready to have your world rocked. And try not to puke.

At least for the moment. He's more of a disrupter than a winner or loser.

Lori's avatar

A disrupter that wins!

Cousin Clem's avatar

Sometimes. He might have shot himself in the foot with this war. He certainly screwed the pooch for the mid-terms.

kittynana's avatar

@Clem- disruption is what was needed for so long. No apology tours. No cash on pallets. No 'Don't'. Action.

Cousin Clem's avatar

I liked that he was disrupting the deep state domestically but he's just continuing what Bush, Obama, Biden were doing in the Middle East. That is pure deep state.

James Goodrich's avatar

No matter what the courts rule about Steve Bannon getting his good name back, the fact of the matter is the communists put him in jail for four months. The communists also won’t care about the fact that Obama invaded 7 countries dropping over 26000 bombs. When they come back to power 4 months for Bannon will be 400 years for Trump if he’s lucky. I’m afraid many will find out there are worse things in this world than dying.

Skenny's avatar

There were many other political prisoners jailed without bond and maliciously prosecuted by those crazy bastards. If they ever touch those levers of power again, Trump will be one among thousands persecuted/prosecuted. It could be tens of thousands or hundreds of thousands next time (possibly including you and me, for mean tweets). 1A and 2A will be hardest hit.

None have ever paid for any of their crimes, including the "J6 Committee" (L. Cheney, et al.) that apparently destroyed all their records. The message to us is that they'll do whatever they want, and nobody can stop them. This especially includes Congress, and issues like the SAVE Act.

neener's avatar

And anyone who said anything positive about Trump or MAGA will be in the crosshairs. At keast we are in good company!

James Goodrich's avatar

That’s what scares me about this war beginning just months before the midterms. Trumps approval rating before this started was 48% approve, 52% disapprove. A few days ago he was at 24% approve, 76% disapprove. You don’t win midterms with 20% approval ratings, no matter what you think of polls. A lot of the different young groups that helped to elect him have left the tent. I have no love for the Iranian regime, I want them gone. I think if this war with all the escalations started on November 6th I wouldn’t be so concerned about the future of America.

Mitch's avatar

don't trust any of the polls, they're mainly propaganda.

Johnny-O's avatar

The economy already sucked, and now its going to tank even worse. The GOP is doomed, and that says a lot considering the other party.

Skenny's avatar

If we make it to July 4, 250 years will have been a good run. Beyond that, with this Congress, and this "citizenry," we're on borrowed time.

We tolerated 4 years of the presidency known as "Biden," and came disturbingly close to a "Harris/Walz" picture of the future. As a country, we've lost the ability to be serious.

Lori's avatar

We are on borrowed time only if we allow it. We know what needs to be done. Time to start.

Unwoke in Idaho's avatar

And now it’s 45 or 46 approve

James Goodrich's avatar

That seems high I just checked several poling sites he’s at 36% approval. I hope he’s above 50 for the mid terms!!

Lori's avatar

Then I guess we all know what needs to be done to the other side and without hesitation.

Deb's avatar

The court that made the ruling in the first place should now be held accountable for their horrible ruling... maybe like spending 4 months of incarceration! Until activist courts are held liable for their actions against those who disagree with their Liberal views, this is going to continue! Just my opinion!

Cousin Clem's avatar

As Clinton, Bush 1 and 2 and Obama have demonstrated, they dont lock up presidents. Doesn't matter what you've done.

They didn’t lock up advisors either until Trump.

Did you guys miss the buddy relationship that Bannon had with Epstein? Read his interviews.

James Goodrich's avatar

No I was going to add that to the his good name quote. Between Bannon’s notes saying he loved Epstein and Bongino changing his mind on every common sense belief ha once had I’m finding it hard to find things to listen to. I stopped a long time ago believing what someone says because of who they are especially after COVID. I bet Bongino now thinks the mRNA shots are safe and effective. I also notice he does not take even 1 call any more. They’d screen out the objectionable calls any ways I’m sure. I’d love to ask him what’s happened to his common sense.

It only takes a few blocks to make a huge difference, since they feed on each other’s vile comments. The “likes” on their posts are just each other. It’s been so nice lately to read through the comments and not feel contaminated — poisoned even — for hours afterward. Just as I wouldn’t voluntarily stand and let someone shower me with sewer sludge, I don’t feel morally obligated to bathe in it metaphorically here.

Hilary Clinton's BFF Huma has brothers in the Muslim Brotherhood.

And some people allege that the Awan brothers had ties.

I believe Huma’s mother was an executive with CAIR.

That would be the same Huma who married Alex Soros last year.

I can't help but wonder, when will the New York Times be closed down for constantly lying? I have to admit I fantasize about it constantly.

Crash Pile's avatar

Don’t let them live in your head. Just think of the NYT as The Onion with a larger audience. It’s just the satire is less overt in the Times, more subtly mixed in with words that are structured to approximate news articles.

NYT = The Onion. Brilliant!!

Now that astronauts, with 2026 technology, have "travelled" to the dark side of the "moon" , maybe with a newer iPhone or Galaxy, do you think we might be treated to pictures out the view windows that actually have at least as many stars as I can see standing near Grand Teton national park on a moonless night. [Which was waaaaaaay more that I imagined it could be being on earth.] The dark side should have zero light pollution from the sun or any soccer stadiums on the moon, so I would expect some amazing pictures. Anyone see any? Or are they still being created in an AI CGI lab because they have to get the star alignments just right based upon where the capsule is supposed to "be" when a photo is taken. With AI now, it is easier to spot a fake. Or are we going to be told some reason why we can see more stars here on earth through our geo-engineered soupy atmosphere than on the dark side if the moon?

While I agree with where you’re going, I’d gently like to point out that the dark side of the moon is the title of an album by a 1970’s rock band, not anything relevant to the large object frequently visible in the night sky. The far side of the moon is frequently illuminated by the sun.

shayne's avatar

And what a magnificent album it is! 😉🤣

Have you tried listening to it while watching The Wizard of Oz? It's worth doing at least once, especially if you love the album. There are websites that cover exactly how you time this.

shayne's avatar

That's cool.

Navyo Ericsen's avatar

There is no dark side of the moon, really. As a matter of fact, it's all dark.

shayne's avatar

That's true.

Has anyone else seen "weird" videos from astronauts, that people are saying are AI?

The third leg could be an ai generated image itself to keep the conspiracy going

As for the image with the bag, what if it’s just the effects of image enhancement that they have to use so that we can better see it more clearly? Pixelation occurs with that.

None of this is proof. Their images are just as questionable as NASA’s. Lol

Patti's avatar

Those don’t even look like astronauts right now? I will have to go look again.

It's fascinating that we are exploring 250,000 miles into space and the dark side of the moon, but can only guess what is 10 miles below earth's surface.

I wonder if the Artemis II will see where China is mining Helium-3 on the dark side of the moon. Gen. Kwast was on Shawn Ryan last year talking about it. It's a very god interview if you like talking about energy and such.
