Surely I cannot be the first to say "Good morning, C& C Army!' and God bless Jeff Childers!?!

Dan (100% All in MAGA)'s avatar

Today I have to leave a comment before reading Jeff's daily contribution to our knowledge.

Update: After reading Jeff's contribution, it is damned important too, especially for families with children born between 2025 and 2028. Wow, those contributions and dollar cost averaging, and future contributions are going to make a whole lot of money for these children. So please read and send to families you know meet this condition, or will meet this condition before 2029. Its a BRILLIANT plan to a. help make new Americans, and b. generate generational wealth over the course of the first 20 years - and beyond - of a child's life. Example: One original share of Apple stock bought at its 1980 Initial Public Offering (IPO) cost $22. Thanks to several stock splits, that single share is now worth roughly $69,000. And c. drives a stake through the hearts of the vampire "non-profits" and "NGOs" who never seem to be able to get the money to where it is supposed to go but do always seem to get it to the evil uniparty members of their choice - I'm including that most vile and murderous, deeply evil group known as planned parenthood. Jeff also writes: "Their real complaint is that the money bypasses them." Fire for Effect! WHOOOMP! Target, AWFLs in the open, hit and destroyed!

In yesterday's C&C @yeshuaswarriorwoman (Sharon Beautiful Evening) shared with me a post from @tgville (Tony Glynn) about a man named Tom Zimmer, also known as The Hermit of Lorato. It contained a link to a youtube video.

I'm not going to tell you about it but I strongly encourage everyone to please view this 26 minute video. The time spent watching it will fly by. Please watch it.

It touched me deeply, I felt something come over me as I watched it. In my heart I believe it was the Holy Spirit.

Please watch it, please let me know your thoughts about it? Please add your own prayer for Tom Zimmer and for President Trump and give a heartfelt prayer of thanks

to our Creator.

Here it is: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GqYjqAHERDQ

Thanks for staying on point Dan, your contributions are stellar.

DJT was clearly working behind the scenes accomplishing two related goals.

One to fund the accounts for disadvantaged without NGO's.

Two to derail the "billionaire" class attacks before the midterms.

Both goals accomplished.

The fake news cannot respin this or get rid of their Pocahantis endorsement problem in the state of Maine.

Dan (100% All in MAGA)'s avatar

Thank you Truth Seeker for your kind, and TRUE thoughts.

For me, it is 100% clear that God has divinely interceded and is using our Great POTUS to do His Perfect Will.

Truth Seeker's avatar

and in saying so, demonstrate awareness of that intercession

Those with latent derangement are spiritually bereft.

Will finish the vid very soon.

Dan (100% All in MAGA)'s avatar

Indeed!

I hope it touches your heart as it did mine.

Truth Seeker's avatar

Corroboration comes at any time, from any angle.

Have noticed the assertion that DJT has divine intercession

from many different places. This one is a crown jewel.

Many images of him in deep prayerful contemplation.

Very important at a time like this!!

ViaVeritasVita's avatar

Thank you Dan--I had seen another video about Tom Zimmer some years ago--and watched this with appreciation. I have been praying daily for DJT since August 4, 2024 (have no idea why I began on that particular day).

Dan (100% All in MAGA)'s avatar

V3, yesterday was the first time I heard this story, I sure hope everyone can find the time to watch the video. It is pretty inspiring.

Denise Eagan's avatar

i saw it also a few years ago. He has been put where he is for a purpose. There is another film which is based on a true story about a firefighter who prophesied DJT presidency. Its called The Trump Prophecy.

Dan (100% All in MAGA)'s avatar

Thank you Denise. I'm quite touched to be learning about these prophesies. I will look for the "The Trump Prophesy" and view it too. I think they are tremendously important especially as we see evil of the world trying to destroy our President but knowing God has not let that happen, and will not, let that happen.

I saw it too. 👍

Dan, I don’t know if you are aware but Loreto is where the Holy House is located. This is why Tom Zimmer was there. He made a pilgrimage to Loreto because of the Holy House.

https://www.santuarioloreto.va/en/storia/la-santa-casa-da-nazareth-a-loreto.html

He also wrote a book

Of prayers called the Pieta prayer book. It’s a wonderful compilation of prayers. You can buy it here.

https://divinemercygiftshop.org/THE-ORIGINAL-PIETA-PRAYER-BOOK-0000000000000-6314/

Dan (100% All in MAGA)'s avatar

Karmy, thank you for that valuable contribution.

They did also mention the Pieta prayer book in the video. I will go there today and buy 10 of the prayer books. Anyone reading this, who can't afford the book, let me know and I will buy one for you and make sure it is delivered to you.

Update: I didn't buy 10 of the books, I bought 20 and will deliver them to churches in my community. And of course, my offer above stands for C&C readers.

Very interesting Dan. I’ve often wondered since Trump survived all the lawfare & lies, then Butler & other attempts we don’t even know about, that there was something providential about Trump. Thanks for sharing. I’ll pass on. 🙏

Thanks, @Dena I was compelled to share it and to give an opportunity to others to view it, perhaps also be touched by it like I was, and share it to others.

Thank you Jeff for driving home the threat of communism in our country. It drives the left crazy when I point out that Karl Marx in his manifesto refers to socialism as the lower form of communism. These people prey upon the gullible so we need to point out the hazard of communism.

Dan (100% All in MAGA)'s avatar

The end goal of "socialism" is communism. It is just another deeply dishonest way the communists try to bring about the evil they want to inflict around the world.

Elaine Russky's avatar

I hadn't heard this story, but there were a couple of predictions of Donald Trump being President that went back a long time before he even considered running. It's interesting that this was known by a strategic few before Trump knew he was running. There's a movie on Amazon, "The Trump Prophecy" about one of those men, a fire fighter. Another of these men was the subject of an article on Yahoo, which was having none of it. https://www.yahoo.com/news/articles/trump-79-shares-deranged-20-231237542.html

Dan (100% All in MAGA)'s avatar

Elaine, Isnt it amazing how they corroborate each other without any connection? That's compelling in and of itself.

Elaine Russky's avatar

Exactly! Plus, let's face it, that's not an idea that someone would come up with on their own. If you've ever brainstormed about who would be a great President, you must know that "Donald Trump" isn't the first person that springs to mind.

It doesn't help that our so-called MAGA POTUS is also controlled by Big Pharma!

Steve Stevens's avatar

What's stopping him from introducing legislation?

Richard Whitney's avatar

I don't know how the process works. I just know that the bills are usually written by lobbyists, not Congress members, and that they can be buried in committee if TPTB don't like them.

For all we know, he might have introduced legislation. How would we know? The media certainly wouldn't cover it.

Mrs. RW

Steve Stevens's avatar

IMO, any legislation introduced on this topic would be on plenty of non-MSM outlets.

Ruth H's avatar

That list is incomplete. There are many weeks they are not working and they gavel every time.

Lisa Ricketts's avatar

Sometimes, what we see as interference, can actually be temperance, or strategy. As we do not know all the interworking's and legalities, we know not the need for visually signaling restraint at this particular season.

Ruth H's avatar

What the heck are you saying. It’s definitely interference, not temperance, and President Trump has had ZERO recess appointments while all past presidents had plenty. We have vacancies needed to be filled and Thune sits on his butt and does nothing. Worthless GOP Senate is shameful and disgusting. They get no ‘temperance’ from me.

Platner is freakish creation, an experiment of sorts; get big name Dems and money behind a total Loser and make him a star. He's nothing without them and they'll never let him forget it. They wanted to see how (easily) their deranged, Left-extremist voters would accept a White "working class" Nazi grifter and woman abuser for a National spotlight spectacle position. ANYthing goes to destroy Trump, SCOTUS, and everything connected to the old America. Violence in the streets, assassinations, and violence at the ballot box too. Will the masses of Maine-iac voters (and the rest of America) see that it's ALL destigmatized now, and it's ok to openly to Fight and infiltrate "Fascist Systems" WITH escalated, violent FASCISM. Leftists could give a fig less about quaint and self-restrained morality or decorum, that's for their enemies to struggle with. Media and analysts even equate Ken Paxton as being as loathsome as Platner.

Platner is The ANTIFA candidate and they couldn't be prouder. Bold, threatening, and a Left-made man. This is where Bernie has always wanted the Dem Party to go. Tip O'Neil having a beer with Reagan was fine for back in the day; NOW, in 2026, POISON the beer or cut the throat of your opponent at the table who's an Enemy & obstacle of REVOLUTION. The DSA Apologists lecture and laugh at their detractors that they're NOT Communists! They believe in Nordic-style Socialism, Classes, democracy, and diversity, and.....(FOR Now, just give it time it as their Manifesto prophecy goes.)

Lisa Ricketts's avatar

This is how the Party brought us Barack Obama, Kamala Harris, Gavin Newsom and Karen Bass, Adam Schiff, et cetera! They get an empty shirt, of minor intelligence, yet easy on the eyes, because they know that their the average Democrat voter is visual rather than Cerebral. The message, and the candidate are carefully crafted and directed by "Staffers/Handlers"! These potential candidates are moved from Government job to Government job, in a game of leap frog. They get promoted and coached, monied and mansioned!

Eric Swalwell was the Democrat model that the DSA copied and tweaked for Mainers' to rally around and unwittingly elect. I say unwittingly because they likely have their newsfeeds curated to weed out all but what floats in via Liberal Media sources. Maine is home to just as many creative types as it is to hunters and fisherman.

AwakeNotWoke's avatar

Platner is the best quality Democrat I have ever seen. So what if he had a Totenkopf tattoo. That was a symbol of the most anti-Communist government the world has ever seen. The authentic first line of Niemoller's poem is: "They came first for the Communists" because that is exactly what they did. His tattoo was a symbol.of a genuine right wing government. Every other government in modern history has been to the left of that one.

Platner fought both as a Marine and in the Army. He did not pretend to have bone spurs or asthma. He saw more combat than Hegseth. According to a former girlfriend he said that he wore the Totenkopf while on deployment to remind himself that the US were the bad guys and because the SS were a killer unit and his unit was a killer unit.

That honesty is breathtaking. According to an epidemiological study published in the Lancet in 2006 the US butchered up to nearly a million infants, children, women, elderly and other mainly civilian Iraqis between 2003 and 2006 and Platner was part of it and is man enough to admit it.

Platner was on track to win Maine, partly because of the allegations against him.

Multiple women have accused POTUS Trump of raping them when they were kids and adults. It has not hurt him.

Research has shown that women with psychopathic, narcissistic, sadistic and Machiavellian traits approve of, and/or dismiss as false or of no consequence, POTUS Trump's alleged mistreatment of other women.

Platner could attract votes from this exact same demographic.

There is nothing dumber than the Democrat leadership and the fact that so many are shrieking for Platner to drop out shows they are scared that he would win and produce real change in the senate.

WP William's avatar

Did NAZIs NOT conspire With USSR in order to fragment and divide the Nation States of Eastern Europe? Waffen SS tattoo maybe more explainable than Totenkopf, but you and Platner's female friend equate US Forces to Totenkopf. Your position is that we reckon with the NeoCon-"NAZI" devastation of the Iraqi War and occupation, and Trump's character issue problems and misdeeds by elevating Platner as an honest breath of Socialist fresh air and somehow Commies get a pass in your eyes as they stopped the NAZIs and kept the American-NAZI empire in check. American Zionism and Great Satan must be opposed, and Platner, ANTIFA, and DSA is the antidote to such Poison? He should NOT drop out, but defeat FASCIST-NAZI Susan Collins with "democracy" rather than by other less-polite means. He should do interviews and books on the men of the baby-butcher Units he served with--kind of a John Kerry approach. Maybe I'm misunderstanding.

AwakeNotWoke's avatar

The US, then and to this day a covert or crypto-Communist regime, fought on the side of the USSR. The US fought to protect the Communists in Western countries as well in Eastern Europe and the USSR and North Africa and the Middle East. Nazi Germany never fought on the side of the Communists. It attacked the USSR on June 22, 1941, in a massive surprise invasion codenamed Operation Barbarossa. This offensive abruptly ended the Nazi-Soviet non-aggression pact signed less than two years prior.

James Goodrich's avatar

Isn’t it something to sit back and witness the democrat party’s election process. For months they all stood behind a man that for decades had a Nazi tattoo on his chest, many said it was sexy. Platner sexted numerous women, some underage girls just 6 months into his marriage. Was accused of physically assaulting women he had relations with. Bending their arms behind their backs, grabbing their arms hard enough to leave bruises, locking them in bedrooms, you know sexy things like that. He was 100% in on Men in girls sports.

If you’re winning nothing matters to democrats. Platners polling was up, the money was rolling in, millennial socialists were enamored by his bashing of the rich. The major communist leaders of “The Party” were all in. Schumer, AOC, Ro Khanna, Bernie Sanders; Elizabeth Warren said he’s my type of man. Anything goes if you’re winning.

But once his polling began to turn, the money was drying up, it looked as though he couldn’t win, the thousand cuts began to take there toll on his commy candidacy. The democrats gave the green light for Jenny Racicot to tell her story, first to politico and then the interview on CNN. She told how he forced his way into her apartment after being told she didn’t want to see him. And how he sexually assaulted her, raped her after being told to stop. Normally this would be acceptable, a resume enhancer, common behavior for a democrat, just ask Tara Reade, they truly don’t care as long as you’re winning. But if the polling shows you can’t win, the moneys drying up, thats when you get thrown under the bus! The knifes come out. Et Tu Chuck Schumer. They give you the Joe Biden treatment. Now the democrats have to pick a new candidate. Who gives a crap about who the voters picked.

Just like CNN mysteriously showing up at the FBI Mar-a-Lago raid or CNN by chance being there for Roger Stone’s 3 AM arrest, within 4 minutes of the CNN interview with Racicot, all Platners major communist/democrat supporters Schumer, Warren, Sanders, Khanna came out and pulled their support for Platner. Baffling how they all must have been watching CNN at that very moment! It’s a miraculous coincidence!

The question remains will this creep, the rapist, drop out, and if he doesn’t, honestly, he still has a great chance of winning with the Maine democrat/communist voters, after all he is a fellow traveler. They know they only have until July 13th to get him off the ticket, and them bringing Racicot out now just may work. Maybe a nice big mansion on Graham Lake in Maine similar to what they gave Bernie Sanders will get Platner to drop out, it’s like their playbook. He’s probably holding out for that. No democrat election tampering there though!

The whole time, the democrats knew about these rape allegations, it was the ace up their sleeve, they just truly don’t care what he’s done. They were willing to send a rapist to the Senate, right up until his polling, his donations and his chances of winning fell off the cliff. Really with his record of physically, mentally and sexually demoralizing woman, Platner definitely is the perfect democrat! J.Goodrich

Yep. He raped several women. Juanita Broaddrick tells all in her own book. And she didn’t do it for money, she did it because Hillary said “Every survivor of sexual assault deserves to be heard, believed and supported.”

Platner gets disability payments for PTSD? How many veterans who have actual physical disabilities get payments? And how many get $4,800 a month? He likes his "freedom" so much that he wants to take more of it from the taxpayers as a Senator's salary, on top of that $4,800.

I get by on less than ONE FOURTH of his "disability" pay. That man is a thief, but he is the kind of man for Pocahontas. She can have him.

Beckadee's avatar

He checks all their most important boxes.

Juju's avatar

It’s taking me a while to type/express my views on this, because it’s such a complicated issue and I LOVE our veterans and want them to feel that love and security for the rest of their lives. They chose to take a risk that so many of us never did. The word honorable doesn’t even cover it.

But - PTSD should be an immediate disqualification from any significant public service leadership role if you are presently diagnosed with it AND being treated for it. Someone with a legitimate case, even in treatment, cannot properly do the job that representatives should be doing. Pick a lane. You either are emotionally/mentally disabled or you’re not. You either get help for yourself until you are healed and no longer need social financial support “for the PTSD”, or you refrain from public duty until you are. I don’t think it’s right to do both. I’ve suffered from true PTSD myself and I can tell you that during the year and a half that I was “finally” being treated for it, (went several years untreated and it’s ugly when you’re not getting the help you need,) but no way could I tie my own shoes much less represent others in that year and a half. And I never collected disability, we just suffer the loss of income. Today I’m pretty much cured of the worst of it. Proof that it IS treatable and curable.

I don’t mean to disregard those who suffer from it long term and treatment isn’t helping. They DO deserve our unending financial care, but we have to be honest about whether they are capable of holding office at the same time, and whether that disability deserves “lifetime” financial support. Some do, I’m fully aware, but that also means treatment isn’t working and they are not sound enough to lead.

Having gone through it myself I know why it should be a covered disability, but you have to pick a lane.

My apologies if I’m offending any veterans here who suffer from it. I truly don’t want to minimize your suffering because it IS agonizing. But I do want honesty about capabilities when suffering from it. Some things you just shouldn’t be doing when going through it.

And this again shows the utter disrespect that the Democrat party has for the groups they purport to support. Veterans. Why would they risk a veteran losing the support he was getting by having him publicly fail on the public stage exposing all his crimes and grotesqueness, demeaning all veterans? Because they don’t really care about him as a person, he’s a tool. Yes he made the choices himself to do those horrible things, so yes he will face the consequences, but the party’s willingness to exploit him just to get their toxic male is disgusting too.

I found his $4800 a month, veteran disability for PTSD, very interesting. My husband is a Vietnam vet. When we first married almost 50 years ago, he was receiving 10% disability for shrapnel he still carried in his body. That amounted to roughly $80 a month extra. It went up about a dollar a year. In 2013, his family’s business was sold just short of retirement age for him. We turned to VA healthcare for him. A couple of years after signing up, a savvy doctor in the VA suggested he go to a service member staff group and see if he could get his disability upgraded. There were several groups that helped with this. We found a Purple Heart rep at the VA hospital that day, and he spent hours getting my husband upgraded to 50% disability, over a period of about 5 years. It was a substantial upgrade in disability benefits and he could receive prescribed pharmaceuticals at no cost and free dental. At the time this was happening Agent Orange exposure had been in the news for years. But the parameters for compensation were very narrow. They considered any one who had been in Vietnam under Agent Orange even if they had been no where near it, but there were a very narrow list of maladies that would give you compensation. Though my husband was on LZ’s for much of his time in Vietnam so he was definitely exposed, he didn’t have any of the problems they would compensate for. It would have given him 100% disability. While we know he was exposed and we suspect some of his autoimmune problems were caused by Agent Orange, those are not covered in the parameters.

We were just in the VA talking to a podiatrist who suggested he get his disability upgraded. He suggested using the PTSD ranking to move it up. We have not followed through yet with a service member group, but this story on Platner’s 100% disability using PTSD, struck a nerve. Apparently that’s the latest way to game the VA system.

WP William's avatar

the military "Disabled Vet" grift has been notable for over a decade now, and what NGOs and Doctors are profiting from its expansion? No one could be against taking care of those who served and sacrificed. Have Vet suicide, homelessness, and incarceration rates dropped to low enough levels to demonstrate how successful it's been for those truly suffering? At least Graham P. was spared such a fate, this much is certain.

Dr Linda's avatar

The VA system is very hard and tedious to navigate. Keep at it

FLGenX's avatar

Yes that number is shocking !

I know a Marine pilot Major who was medically retired due to MS (can’t fly with that diagnosis) and only gets $900. He didn’t want to claim 100% disability because still able to work with his disease and pain management. While this Platner creep gets $4800 a month!! I think his eligibility needs a deep review and a big decrease.

Kent's avatar

Let's hope whoever or whichever dept approved Platner's PTSD disability, rechecks what got

him approved and for how much. Somebody somewhere is LYING or approving bad information. In a way its a shame Platner is dropping out as someone with PTSD should fit

right in with the Democratic side of the aisle in DC.

Dave aka Geezermann's avatar

To clarify, I get social security, not disability.

Juju's avatar

Dave my son gets disability for several neurological conditions that there is no cure for yet. He qualified for full benefits. It’s $1340/mo AFTER they take $200/mo for Medicare. So even the permanently disabled don’t get $4800/mo. He couldn’t join the military because of those disabilities, and he did try to join. Apparently during those years the military accepted gender dysphoric people just fine, but not those with something like Tourette Syndrome who had facial tics. 🤦🏼‍♀️ He lives with us because nobody can support themselves at that level in today’s economy. Rent alone is higher than that.

Long Enough?'s avatar

Military disability benefits come from an entirely different pool from SSDI. The criteria is also quite different.

melinda's avatar

Not to be “that” person, but VA disability is a different classification system than you’re thinking of. You can get a 100% Disability rating through the VA for agent orange exposure that led to cancer, for example.

You don’t need to be wheelchair-bound or unable to work to get a 100% disability rating with the VA.

"Why give to United Way so it can fund Planned Parenthood?"

Way back in the mid 1980s, I worked for a large Seattle bank at the same time that Mary Maxwell Gates (Bill's mom) became the first woman to head a United Way chapter. She immediately added Planned Parenthood to the list of designated organizations, which was the first time anything like that had been done.

Our bank pressured every employee to make a monthly donation to United Way (we had a new, female CEO who worked closely with Mary Gates) and I flat out refused, stating that not one dime of my money would go to PP, even indirectly. I was intimidated by my immediate manager and then my district manager, but I would not bend. Eventually, when I threatened legal action, they stopped bothering me but, as far as I know, I was the only one in the entire company who refused to donate and I don't think my manager ever forgave me!

Sounds like my experience as a new Accounts Receivable clerk in Montgomery Wards Department Store at the age of 18 and minimum wage was $1 an hour. That tells you my age! Our store manager “required” every employee to pledge a donation to United Way and I had no extra time nor money for a ‘pledge’ to anyone else except my aunt and uncle who took me in their care at the age of 15. I was ‘warned’ by other employees that I’d better give or I’d hear from the boss — and I did hear — “he’d won the award for 12 years straight for 100% employee contributions and he wasn’t going to let one little person deny him that award.” I got my purse, wrangled all the change I had, which was my lunch money for the week, placed the pennies and nickels in his hand and told him I quit and left. I never regretted leaving but I did regret giving him my last penny—for about 1 minute LOL!

VikingMom's avatar

The moral issue was, of course, paramount to me, but there was also the Injustice of being told to give money that I had earned, under compulsion, so that couple of rich women could pat themselves on the back!

Needless to say, it's just one of the many reasons I have never liked, nor trusted, Bill Gates! He is a nasty, sneaky person who thinks he is morally superior to everyone around him and therefore entitled to manage the lives of the "little people". He clearly learned that from his parents!

Karmy's avatar

I remember back in the 70’s & 80’s when I worked for Pfizer the United Way campaign was a huge deal. There was a lot of pressure to participate.

Skeeve's avatar

You are absolutely correct. And Bill Gates is almost certainly a eugenicist. The eugenicist society used to be out in the open but after the horrors of the holocaust it went underground where it festered and grew into the putrescent monster it is in darkness. You can spot a Eugenicist easily because they are always pro-abortion, love to fund birth control drugs in Africa, advocate for transgender surgery, support sodomy, oppose traditional marriage, and are rabid advocates of mRNA jabs. All of these line up with Eugenics. They want to weed out the population of everyone who is "unfit" according to their definition of "unfit". To Bill Gates - you and I are "unfit" and need to be eliminated. Eugenics is the end result of Darwinism. It is the logical conclusion if Darwinian Evolution were true. And because of the moral repugnancy of eugenics - Darwinian Evolution must be false.

Elaine Russky's avatar

Such a familiar story. It was like that in every job I had. I refused to give them one nickel because of their affinity for Planned Parenthood. I'd say, "No, I've already given to another cause."

Ruth H's avatar

My first full time job making $180 a month, yes a month not a week, in the late 60s I was asked to donate one day wages to United Way. I refused. The president of company called me to his office to talk to me how important it was for all to donate so he could get his yearly plaque from UW. I said no. I’m not against donating to a good cause, but even back then I questioned UW’s positions and their high salaries for their officials. I still will never donate to them. I give to my church and the Union Mission.

Elaine Russky's avatar

I can top that, Ruth. My first job after high school was $80 a month, plus a place to live, free meals, and all the tips I could get from the dining room patrons. I took it mostly because I was 18 and wanted to spend the summer in the Colorado mountains.

CL Shoemake's avatar

There truly is a mafia type process in big companies/corporations re: United Way donations. When I worked in a hospital in a large town, There was always a push for “everyone” to donate via auto-deductions from our checks.

When I worked for years for one of the biggest and best known companies globally, there was a huge push by all levels of management for each of us to donate. I refused because I knew where a lot of that money went and morally, I would not donate. Then I found out I could designate precisely what charity I wanted to receive my donation. I chose the local Salvation Army, as I know a bit about how much good they truly do, and they have always been rated very highly for how little of donations goes to “administrative costs”. I will always prefer giving directly to my choice of charities, because as Jeff explained so throughly, an awfully big percentage of donations goes to those intermediate org’s.

VikingMom's avatar

My manager said that I could designate my donation to a local Crisis Pregnancy Center and request that my money not go to Planned Parenthood. But that was all smoke and mirrors because it was set up for them to get a percentage of the total amount pledge, which I believe was 3%. So, if I said that I didn't want my donation to go to PP, they would just take 6% of someone else's donation and they would still end up getting the same amount. And United Way had a 12% administrative charge so if I did donate $100 to Crisis Pregnancy center, they would only get $88 if it was processed through UW, rather than the entire $100 if I wrote them a check myself!

They also “force” the military to give to charity’s out of their meager pay. We always choose Christian charities (and hoped for the best) with low overhead. So glad this charity grift is coming to an end!

This is a great story and it was happening all over the country. After graduating college in 1991, my first job was with a large pharmaceutical company on the east coast as a union employee. The pressure to give to the United Way was palpable! And it was made as a direct deduction from your paycheck so you couldn't say "oops I forgot to bring my donation". I don't remember if I did give or not, but I think I did at the time - although there were some murmurings of shady activity going on with United Way reps. Somehow, these big intermediaries managed to weasel their way into unions and convince the union bosses to pressure us to give to them. How was that done you ask? Well I'm sure you can guess!!

Times have really changed since then and nowadays you can't even pass out your kid's Girl Scout cookie order form because someone will squeal about it to HR. But, I think this is better than the alternative which we saw in the 70's and 80's. No one should feel pressure to contribute. That's Biblical. "Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver." 2 Corinthians 9:7 You can't be a cheerful giver if you are pressured.

These aren’t organic thoughts — they got the memo.

The Senate is broken and beyond repair. McConnell is apparently brain dead but, still in office. Jeff, I've mentioned this before, but you're still doing it. It may seem trivial, but it's not. You're still uppercasing Black when referring to black people. It's not a proper noun. It's a color. Leftists began this some years ago, uppercasing Black while lowercasing white because, well, you know, black people deserve it due to the subjugation and all. And they are still so subjugated. It's just a color, Jeff.

Did I miss the discussion on merging the Israeli millitary with the U.S. military? It’s in the must pass defense spending bill giving a foreign country full access to U.S. intel and military innovation. Has there been a discussion as of yet on this? Super important thing to understand call out the U.S. doesn’t need this sort of partnership.

FH's avatar

It isn’t a merger of the two countries’ military forces. I don’t know the lingo exactly, it is a stronger coordination between the two, and I think related to use of technologies…of course the MIC will benefit.
