Why doesn’t the President mention Jesus? I hear God a lot, but don’t recall Jesus being mentioned. We need a Christian paideia in this country, like Pete Hegseth wrote about!
Denver Dad, the email I received from Todd Starnes, President Trump mentioned Jesus all through his address about Holy Week! I copied and pasted it because our President put Jesus back in His rightful place on the Christian calendar.
Deism is not Christianity. Deism is an ideology. Margarine isn’t butter; similar but vastly different. Even Satan believes in God. Christians believe in Jesus.
But saying Jesus is God, but God is not Jesus. Jesus is our savior. God is a trinity. Jesus is God the Son. The creator of all. God the Father is what is revealed when one says God. Say Jesus and mean it. Jesus is our savior. God is holy and just. When someone says New York, it means two things and to say New York is crime ridden means NYC, not upstate NY. Jesus is our King. God is our father. There is a difference and distinction.
Except that Jesus is God in the flesh. He is not separate and distinct from God the Father, not did God create Him. Read the first chapter of the Gospel of John. He spells it all out for you: "In the begininning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word Was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it." Apparently, you do not comprehend it and are therefore in the dark.
You missed my point. May God bless you with open eyes and ears, may the peace of Jesus Christ be with you and may you and your family have a blessed Easter.
I reread your post, and I think you are correct; I did misread it. Although to be fair, the first sentence was a little confusing, at least to me. Thanks for your Easter wishes, and I offer the same to you and your family.
A blessed Good Friday to you all at C&C. Jesus died for our sins so that we may have eternal life with Him.
There is no greater love than this💜
John 15:13 Greater love has no one than this, that one lay down his life for his friends.

Let it be, they are one and the same- the trinity (don’t forget the Holy Spirit)

He did, though I’m not positive—hopeful though—that he actually wrote this. Still praying!🙏✝️🙌

But I want to hear ‘Jesus’ from his lips, verbally.
He mentioned Jesus by name and by "position" (son of God) several times in his remarks at the dinner at the White House.
I heard Trump just yesterday speaking the name of Jesus more than once. You must have missed that.
Excellent! Thank you for sharing.
