Thank you, Jesus, for dying for me and all my fellow humans. We did and still do not deserve it, but we are eternally thankful for your grace and love.

They can sing as beautifully as the angels, but until and unless they confess that Jesus is God, their songs mean nothing.

Yashuah (Jesus) said 3 places in the Christian Bible that He is NOT God.

Expand full comment
John Carswell's avatar

Please point out those three supposed places. The apostle John said He is God "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word WAS God." Jesus Himself, said, "I and the Father are ONE", and "Before Abraham was, I AM". The pharisees set out to kill Jesus because of, among other things, His blasphemy in claiming to be God. So please inform us where He said that was not true.

Perhaps you are uninformed. They do confess that Jesus is God, creator of this world, Savior and Redeemer. There is also a God the Father, which Jesus Himself referred to numerous times as going to His Father, or praying to His Father, or the voice of God witnessing of his Son, Jesus Christ at His baptism.

I encourage you to look further.

I suggest you do some research and read the words of the Bible, not some commentary or non-Biblical writing that denies or waters down the Word of God. In your response itself, you prove that the Mormons are poly-theistic, referring to at least 2 gods. That is NOT Christian; that is an apostate cult.

I would extend to you the same courtesy, as "Christianity" was redefined in the Council of Nicea (325 AD) in order to appease several religious factions. And I, for one, find it odd that someone who professes to follow Jesus Christ gets to "gate keep" that a fellow follower of Jesus Christ is "not Christian". To clarify what I said above, Jesus Himself told his disciples to pray unto the Father in my name. Make of that what you will.

"Redefined" Christianity??? I don't rely on the council of Nicea or any other council or pope or cult leader to tell me what Christianty is. I READ God's Word, and I know what it says and what it doesn't say. If you read the epistles, mainly of Paul and John, we are told to call out heresies, which I guess is what you mean by "gate keeping". If we do not call out heresies, then the souls of those who ascribe to those heresies are in jeapordy. As I said in another response, Jesus Himself said, "Not everyone who says unto me, 'Lord, Lord' will be saved...."

And read and absorb the meanings of the following passages: Proverbs 30:5-6, Deuteronomy 4:2, Deuteronomy 12:32,

Galatians 1:6-9 (“As we have said before, so now I say again: If anyone is preaching to you a gospel contrary to the one you received, let him be accursed.”)

Matthew 24:24 (“For false christs and false prophets will arise and perform great signs and wonders, so as to lead astray, if possible, even the elect.”)

Revelation 22:19 (“And if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God will take away his share in the tree of life and in the holy city, which are described in this book.”)

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! According to his great mercy, he has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. - 1 Peter 1:3

Christians are around one third of world population.

Try not to be such a judgemental, simpering assclown.

Matthew 7:21 - "Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven." In other words, not everyone who calls himself Christian is actually Christian. Yes, Christians make up 1/3 of the world's population, but only God Himself knows how may of them are Christians. Your choice of words in your response certainly leads one to think are you doing the will of the Father. Only God can answer that question, but it might be a good idea for you to search your heart.

Save us from the antisemitism, please. Jesus was and remains a Jew, whose second coming will be in Israel.

Who dares presume he would stand with Hamas in the war they initiated on October 7; with the slaughter of Jewish families and the taking of hostages to parade through the streets of Gaza?

For shame!
