Or the many millions of Christians in that Soviet sh*tpile who got "disappeared" or starved into the next life. How come the knee jerk go-to is Germany, but hardly ever mentioned are the horrific events that continued over 𝑑𝑒𝑐𝑎𝑑𝑒𝑠 in the hellhole to the east?

because it is against Christians, and sadly many think that it's OK. Notice what is going on in Ukraine: our puppet is going against the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, to the point of setting up a new "Orthodox Church of Ukraine" there.

Excellent points. While (almost) no one seriously denies the Holocaust of Jews, they were far from the only victims of the Nazis. And if one counts Soviet killings in their entire history, or those of Red China, the Jewish deaths pale in comparison at least in number of victims. It might lead to very interesting places were one to inquire why so much emphasis on the Holocaust, and overlooking these other slaughters. However, such question asking is strongly discouraged, and I understand even a criminal offense in some countries. Curiouser and curiouser.

Very serious people have questioned the essential facts of that chapter in history. These men and women have experienced the same -- and worse -- consequences to their careers, reputations, and lives as those who questioned Sep 11 or this latest crime wrapped up in an absurdity called a "pandemic." There is nothing new here. Same play book.

That raising a question or pointing out an impossibility that makes up that official offical can get one accused, tried, convicted, and jailed should outrage every single one us. That it doesn't is an indictment.

AND the millions killed during Mao's Cultural Revolution. The number killed is said to be 'state secret' but have seen estimates up to 8 million.

Props to Governor DeSantis for making Nov 7 Victims of Communism Day and requiring curriculum about various communist regimes throughout history and their leaders be taught to all HS students. Too bad we can't get that (or much of anything else) done in our MO legislature.

It would be great if DeSantis would make a "victims of vaccine day" and get it sponsored by Pfizer.

I think part of it is that Germany was supposed to be the epitome of culture and scientific/technological progress. The western world admired Germany and had friendly relations. Also, when they started down this path, Hitler wasn’t content to rule only over Germany. He was a true megalomaniac.

What the communists did in Russia was horrific, but easier for us to ignore because it was mostly staying within their region.

Spot on. And we sanctioned the Holomodor Stalin did against the Ukraine in 1933. No country on earth has started more wars than the US, so there's that too. Let he who is not guilty cast the first stone.

Exactly right. It is nearly impossible to have a serious discussion with anyone in the U.S. about this fact of its existence.

If you're familiar with any of my writings or comments, you will have seen me say repeatedly in multiple places that the U.S. government is a crime syndicate -- the world's largest and deadliest organized crime syndicate. Its business has been war, drug running, foreign intervention, and murder for 𝑑𝑒𝑐𝑎𝑑𝑒𝑠 and 𝑑𝑒𝑐𝑎𝑑𝑒𝑠.

Essentially, we never really gained our Independence. the Brits have used us as their Praetorian guard almost from the beginning. Still do.

One might also ask why not point to China. Mao's "great leap forward" starved over seven million of his citizens, in the name of collectivization and progress.
