Good morning, C&C, it’s Friday! Today’s roundup includes: Trump’s special master is selected and appointed, disappointing Dems; Danish people are done with universal jabs; California teacher controversy illustrates my point from yesterday’s blog; China objects to the W.H.O.; bankers think a depression is possible; Kim Dotcom blames the U.S. for the world’s woes; Biden wants to INCREASE sanctions; media starts agreeing with anti-NATOists; and Russia demonstrates its increasing isolation at a giant non-NATO world conference.
🗞*COVID NEWS AND COMMENTARY* 🗞
🔥 Yesterday, federal Judge Aileen Cannon entered two orders in the Biden Raid Case, temporarily stopping the FBI from investigating President Trump, and appointing a retired judge as a special master to review the confiscated documents ahead of the FBI, in order to remove anything federal agents shouldn’t be pawing through.
The orders were even-handed. Although she granted Trump’s request for a special master, she shortened the review time from the requested three months to one month, and ordered Trump to pay for the special master’s salary and expenses. Yesterday, the Hill ran a piece about the orders headlined “Judge Appoints Special Master, Denying DOJ Access to Classified Records.”
The special master will be retired federal judge Raymond Dearie, a Reagan appointee, who was suggested by Trump and agreed to by the DOJ. Dearie was one of the judges on the secret FISA Court that approved the now-infamous 2016 warrant to wiretap Carter Page during the DOJ’s fake “Russian interference” investigation.
Dearie’s an electrifying choice. Shoving him on the list seems like a high-stakes gamble. His FISA decision was obviously awful, and might be evidence of anti-Trump pro-Deep State bias. On the other hand, Dearie may feel burned by the DOJ because of that experience, and could now be well aware of what the creepy Deep State is up to. There’s no way for us to tell.
After pointing out that the shorter one-month review deadline still moves the issue to the other side of the midterm elections, the Hill forecasted that the DOJ will appeal the decision to the Eleventh Circuit, but the paper seems gloomy about the prospects, suggesting the 11th is stacked with Trump appointees. It couldn’t bear to mention or even think about what might happen at the Supreme Court.
💉 Danish people seem to be done with the shots:
New official guidance in that country says it will no longer jab healthy people under 50: “People aged 50 years and over will be offered vaccination. People aged under 50 who are at a higher risk of becoming severely ill from covid will also be offered vaccination.”
So.
🔥 There’ve been more exciting staffing changes at CNN under new ownership. After eight years hosting his own primetime show “Don Lemon Tonight,” the lunatic leftist, jab-pusher, and CNN host is being reassigned to a new morning show, not as a singular talent but as part of a host team.
Too bad, Don!
🔥 Illustrating my theme from yesterday’s post, Fox ran a story, also yesterday, headlined “California Teacher Speaks Out After ‘Queer Library’ With BDSM/Kink Exposed: ‘I Believe… in What I’m Doing’.”
But … what exactly is she doing?
San Juan Hills high school teacher Danielle Serio calls herself “Flint” in her online media accounts. Fox News Digital found that Flint is an avid TikToker who has repeatedly posted about keeping sexually explicit books in her “queer classroom library,” boasting the books have been available to her students for five years now.
The college-degreed professional educator says her classroom library is packed with over 100 books – including sexual imagery and information about orgies, sex parties and BDSM. Without getting into the graphic details, one of the books shown above, titled “This Book is Gay,” discusses the gay sex-hookup service “Grindr,” and includes detailed information on how to have anal and “girl on girl” sex.
This Book is Gay claims, “We all want to have sex with loads of people.” It continues, “[T]he prostate gland… feels amazing when massaged. Lots of men, gay or straight, like how this feels.” It also encouraged kids to explore orgies and anonymous sexual experiences: “Saunas, or ‘bath houses,’ are dotted all over the country, and they are perfectly legal. People (many saunas run lesbian nights) pay some money to enter and then have a bit of a sauna and some random sex. Again, this is fine as long as you’re safe.”
Another one of her books, “Everything You Ever Wanted to Know About Being Trans,” links trans identity and bizarre sexual practices with sexual liberation. It teaches, “the BDSM/kink community [is] extremely open-minded and welcoming in every way; it’s a place of sexual liberation.” It also claims that students will be more ‘accepted’ if they are trans and explore perverted sexual behavior, explaining “There is often more blanket level of acceptance of transgender people within the kink/BDSM (bondage and discipline, dominance and submission, sadism and masochism) scenes and sites such as FetLife.”
In one of her social media posts, Flint explained her life’s mission to get the books to as many kids as possible, saying, “The library has some of these titles but getting them into circulation is pretty challenging.”
I would hope it’s not easy. The next thing I’m wondering is, if this “non-binary” teacher is stocking these books in the classroom library, what is she TELLING the kids in class?
Obviously, this young lady is a very confused person. She is a useful tool for whoever or whatever is behind this civilization-destroying trend, and is validating her own perverted impulses by normalizing them in her classroom. It makes her feel better to think that SHE is “normal,” and parents who object to this kind of deviant conduct are the weird ones.
In another TikTok video, she explained, “I’ve been wondering lately why it’s so hard for so many people in the general public to trust educators about education – the thing that we studied and do every day. It’s been so long since they were in school, I’m wondering if they have extreme or outdated views about what’s happening in the classroom.”
She just can’t imagine why it’s so hard for the general public to trust educators. So. Weird.
You have to admit, they’ve succeeded beyond their wildest imagination by linking the popular concept of “freedom” with sexual deviancy, calling it “liberation.” That’s the link that must be broken. Sexual deviancy is not freedom. It’s the reverse opposite of freedom. It’s the most degrading kind of slavery.
🔥 Yesterday, Bloomberg ran a piece headlined, “China Shuts Down Videos of WHO Saying End of Pandemic in Sight.”
It started with WHO Director-General Ghebreyesus, who remarked Wednesday that “we have never been in a better position to end the pandemic. We are not there yet, but the end is in sight.” I suppose it’s good that he can SEE the end. It’s right over here! Where the rest of us live.
But after Chinese media quoted Ghebreyesus’ optimism, all stories about the remark disappeared from the Chinese internet, and its social media platform, Weibo, completely censored the W.H.O. comment. It’s going to be covid-zero for China.
🔥 Recently, online financial advisory magazine The Motley Fool ran a story headlined, “JPMorgan CEO Warns U.S. Is Headed Toward Something Worse Than a Recession.” That’s going to flummox the Biden Administration, who practically just finished re-defining “recession” to mean whatever they say it means, so what they don’t need is rogue bank CEOs throwing different words around.
JPMorgan CEO Jamie Dimon toed the line. He said the economy was “strong,” but he also said that he was convinced conditions are likely to deteriorate, and there’s a 20% to 30% chance of soon facing “something worse” than a recession. He blamed low consumer confidence, saying it was “because of inflation, because of partisan politics, and a lot of leftover anger from COVID-19.”
Imagine that. Leftover anger from covid. I assume he means anger toward the government’s over-reaction to covid, not that people are actually mad at the VIRUS.
So what’s worse than a “recession?” Dimon didn’t say the word, but there’s really only one candidate, and it rhymes with “depression.”
The Biden Administration is hanging in there, though, with Joe stumping this week, trumpeting the wonderful U.S. economy. But the Fortune story on Dimon’s depressing comments pointed out that businesses are already contracting, with retailers like Walmart and Target slashing their profit forecasts, and tech companies like Shopify, Apple, Meta, and Microsoft are announcing plans to cut workers or slow hiring.
Fortune even quoted Mark Zuckerberg, who bleakly predicted to Meta employees in a conference call that, “If I had to bet, I’d say that this might be one of the worst downturns that we’ve seen in recent history.”
So.
🚀 German social media giant Kim Dotcom continued his anti-war screed yesterday. He’s now explicitly calling the Ukraine war a “U.S. Proxy War,” and blaming the CIA for deliberately spreading online misinformation:
Dotcom blames the U.S. for the war and for Europe’s financial troubles, and pretty bluntly calls us “evil”:
There has been some confusion in the comments about the REASON for why I’m following this Dotcom phenomenon. I am not adopting Kim’s anti-NATO position. What’s interesting to me is that this trend, represented by Kim’s latest tweets, does not blame Putin, or even Ukraine, for that matter.
Folks like Kim are blaming the U.S. for the war. For some reason.
Yesterday I was called “anti-NATO” in the comments for linking a tweet showing American soldiers fighting for Ukraine, as if being “anti-NATO” were the latest thought crime or something, eclipsing being “anti-Ukraine” as the best evidence that someone is a bad citizen. I’m not anti-NATO, but even if I were, so what? NATO is a giant money vacuum hoovering up American tax dollars, and for what? What do American taxpayers get out of it?
Anyway, calling me “anti-NATO” is a weird take. Dotcom is complaining that the U.S. — not Russia — is destabilizing Europe, which is basically NATO. In Kim’s view, the U.S. is undermining its own NATO allies. Again, I’m not endorsing Kim, what do I know, I’m just a lawyer, but I’m pointing out that the official government narrative is starting to run off the tracks.
And if you don’t like that, don’t blame ME. If you want your narrative to work, stop lying and trying to suppress other people’s opinions whenever you don’t like them.
🚀 It looks like I’m not the only one who sees the European situation as a destabilizing mutual sanctions battle between Europe and Russia. The Economist — no bastion of independent analysis — ran this cartoon last week:
What’s left unsaid in the cartoon is what CAUSED this destabilizing situation. The label on the “sanctions” wrench should be “American-ordered sanctions.” And the wrench on Russia should be only pinching a little bit of the Russian butt.
🚀 This week, the Biden Administration announced plans to sanction more countries. Yesterday, the Hill ran a story headlined, “Biden Administration Mulls Sanctions on Iranian Entities Following Salman Rushdie Attack.”
Yesterday, the UK Express ran a story headlined, “Biden May Enforce Sanctions on China in a Move to Discourage Disaster in Taiwan.” The sub headline explains, “Joe Biden is considering placing sanctions on China in order to continue its support of Taiwan as an independent region while the European Union is under pressure to do the same.”
Haha, not “president Biden.” They said “Joe Biden.” Welcome to the club.
It seems weird to me that at the time we are trying to make sanctions work against one major enemy, we would even CONSIDER a sanctions regime against the other one, who is also one of our biggest trading partners. Apparently it’s not just me. The Express noted, “the notion of implementing sanctions on the world’s second-largest economy and a major global supply chain [partner] throws its practicality into question.”
No kidding.
Me and the Express are not the only ones noticing that the Whisperer-in-Chief seems to have no foreign policy at all, just a make-it-up-as-you-go-along, whack-a-mole approach to sanctioning everybody who disagrees with whatever Joe wants today. Yesterday, the Spectator ran a story headlined, “The Missing Biden Foreign Policy.” The sub-headline explained, “There’s no plan, no careful set of chess moves, just an empty void.”
Haha! They noticed the empty void. I assume they mean Biden. And it would be generous to allow he might even be playing checkers. I think we’re well past the point of checkers now. Go fish might be more Joe’s speed at this point.
The Spectator even called Ukraine, “Biden’s failure:”
Biden’s failure in Ukraine is based on several fallacies. Primarily was his belief that “allies” in Western Europe would band together behind the leadership of the United States to, well, do something against Russia. Nobody wanted actual war between, say, Germany and Russia, so the idea was that European friends would send weapons and participate in sanctions and this would cause Russia to withdraw.
And guess what? The Spectator is starting to see things the Kim Dotcom way:
… predictably, within weeks the arms flow became mostly all-American after some token gifts of aircraft and armor from the Danes, et al. US Special Forces were on the ground in Ukraine soon enough, the CIA active alongside them, and the escalations in both material and sophistication of weaponry running full steam. Ukraine on the ground very quickly devolved from a NATO effort into an American one. Again.
Oh no! There goes the Spectator, showing its true anti-NATOist roots. Activate the twitter bots!
It gets worse. The Spectator sees Biden’s BIGGEST failure — among many, presumably — as being his wild, unfocused, non-chess-like sanctions free-for-all:
Biden’s biggest failure in Ukraine was with sanctions, those economic pressure points that were to make the price of continued war too high for Putin to bear. Fears that Putin would “cut off” western Europe’s gas turned out to be a joke. European gas and oil were instead simply rerouted to Paris and Berlin via Chinese and Indian resellers, and at higher prices than prewar to boot. US sanctions have actually aided Russia… About the only people actually sanctioned so far have been American consumers[.]
The magazine explained that Russia and China are the greatest beneficiaries of sanctions, but Americans have paid the most dearly — even more than Europeans. We’re sanctioning ourselves! It’s almost like Joe is doing it on purpose to raise up America’s historic enemies while simultaneously destroying the U.S.’s superpower status.
Crazy, I know, but there you are.
🚀 Vladimir Putin has been pretty spry this week for a guy who supposedly was arrested, deposed in a coup and executed after a single bad weekend in the Ukraine war. Instead of all that other stuff, he’s now attending a non-NATO Shanghai Cooperation Organization world conference in Samarkand, where he’s demonstrated the awful effects of the “increasing isolation” of Russia by meeting with: Chinese president Xi, Indian president Narendra Modi, Iran’s president Raisi, Pakistan’s president, and a slew of other leaders that together represent the vast majority of the world’s population.
NATO is looking more isolated than Putin.
The U.S. proxy war in Ukraine, as Kim Dotcom calls it, has managed to do at least one thing: unite most of the non-NATO world against us.
So you can’t say Joe has been a TOTAL failure.

If one objectively weighs the evidence, Kimdotcom's assessment of the US is right on the money.
It seems to me that the Regime's purpose in promoting the LGBTQetc lifestyle is to destroy conservative Americans' loyalty to what used to be the United States. It's a carefully crafted demoralization campaign meant to sever the bond between patriots and the bathhouse that is today's America. If patriots don't stand up to defend her, the path is made clear for the left to completely alter America.
I know this is trivial. I just found it interesting that the fbi raids a US Presidents home for the first time in history and illegally takes documents and things they were not supposed to take in the first place. Then Trump has to pay for the salary and expenses for a Special Master to protect the very information they illegally took in the first place. Sounds fair. We live in bizzaro world.
