Yes, those left behind will have a big void in their lives. Our son said the wife told his crew she knew he would be so blown away that they all came to say goodbye. She said he was fine when he left the house and had had no problems with going to do his 16 days on flight. It was a complete shock!

He felt like a failure--he was listening to the wrong "voice"---the voice of despair and loss instead of the voice of our Savior--filled with JOY and HOPE for a better future. May we all listen to His voice instead of the "voice of the evil one"!
