Talwani beats her own hearing by six days and freezes the ballot rule; North Carolina mails in seven; Treasury drafting an audit list with Soros on it; the summer riots that didn’t happen; more.
"She issued a temporary injunction applying to both cases, a time-saving technique as sensible as mixing two recipes in the same bowl because dinner starts in 20 minutes"
It took two years for a single judge to issue a single injunction against a single federal mask mandate (planes). And with scant few lawyers attempting, much less successfully challenging them in courts, Jeff one of them, finding relief in the courts was nearly impossible to do. Even demands to "vaccinate" remain in force for students, health care workers without judges issuing injunctions.
It's all bullshit. Our nation's jurisprudence is a sick joke. Its made the US Constitution its own toilet paper that it regularly flushes.
There's only one way out of this crapper and that's to ignore any and all rulings that are anti-constitutional, like judges usurping executive power from some executives using their ordinary and customary authority, while allowing others to trample on God-given inalienable rights.
They are political hacks pretending to be high priests in black robes. Who need to be disobeyed and defied. And one day find themselves in a setting such as this one in Nuremberg. Read about the Justice Trial. The similarities you'll notice are eye-opening. And will produce the same result here that happened there nearly a century ago. Learn from history. Or be doomed to repeat it. The media is the Enemy of The People. So are judges.
Freedom, I don't believe we can govern ourselves out of this horrible mess and it's why I suspect our only hope is for our Commander-In-Chief to use his authority to declare an election emergency ((or some type of appropriate emergency) to declare Martial Law and arrest and try people in a public venue. I've heard rumors of a plan for something like that.
I have a hard time disagreeing with that. The only hesitation is that Trump is often used by those who don't have our best interests in mind. He's the Oligarch/Tech Bro buddy-in-chief, too. As much as he gives voice to our concerns his actions have empowered them even more. And I don't trust them, his advisors, to keep him on the straight and narrow.
That said, any of his detractors who might say that such an act is unconstitutional, what a king/dictator would do need only look to their paragon of freedom and democracy in action worth our nation's blood and treasure to protect in Ukraine, the heroic freely and democratically elected Zelenskyy...whose term ended two-and-a-half years ago. If that's what democracy and elected leadership looks like, held high for the world to see, sacrifice for in Ukraine, it is certainly fit for the US model. Right?
Just like his first term, Trump listens to all the wrong people (eventually) and any of the good gets bulldogged by the blunders. In my myopic view, he does the bidding to be liked within his class, damn the rest of us.
You are correct. There is no duty to obey an order void on its face but there is to obey a voidable order. The problem is that it is the judiciary which decides which is which.
They will no matter what he does. Either he does it while his supporters can rally around him, protect him, protect the nation. Or he waits until any supporters are nowhere to be found, trying to protect their own hides from what is coming for them. If he truly is all that stands between "them" and us, he will only have that power for as long as he remains in power.
It's dangerous, delusional fantasy to think the left will stop coming for him AND us to imprison or worse. Unless he beats them to the punch. Sad fact. There's no do-overs. No 'hoping' our way out of this. Our situation is dire, critical. The sooner we stop pretending the normal functioning of the system will protect us the sooner we'll get about to taking the steps we need to protect our birthright, our God-given inalienable rights.
The radicals don't believe in God, aren't bound by our natural rights, our birthrights. They are committed to the power of an authoritarian collective to impose itself on the rest of us. Their reality. They must be defeated. Extra-constitutionally if need be. Fight fire with fire.
I get your point, but one of the things I most admire about President Trump is that he does obey judicial orders. He responds to subpoenae. He shows up for show trials. Then he works the appellate process and he has, IMO, a much better legal strategy this term. Which is by no means a knock on his prior legal advisers and lawyers; if not for them we would have no idea how deep the rot is. Well except for Bill Barr, him I knock pretty hard. And Jeff Sessions was absurdly snookered. Ken Paxton is a brilliant legal strategist and if elected as Texas' new Senator I feel confident that he will light a fire in that AWOL branch.
The judiciary has a check on it that doesn't involve the corrupt legislative branch's impeachment power. The executive controls how rulings are enFORCEd. A judge issues rulings. But it lacks ANY enFORCEment power. Zero. Zip. No police, no nuthin'! "Nice ruling you got their, judge, now what are you going to do about it."
Biden administration, Obama administration, they all ignore judicial rulings as a matter of course. Why does Trump dutifully obey each and every one of the ANTI-Constitutional rulings these political hacks make?
The executive controls how funds are disbursed. They are signed by the Treasurer, an executive employee. Don't fund ANTI-Constitutional jurists offices. Judges and court personnel don't work for free, and they can't work where the electricity is cutoff.
And the executive is able to designate ANYBODY a national security threat. Anyone, including judges, with access to government information systems can be barred from accessing them, passwords revoked, deprived of their ability to harm the critical infrastructure of this nation, that elections are. Pres. Trump can do ALL of these things to ALL of the insurrectionist and seditious judges. If he decided he really wanted to protect the nation and our Constitutional freedoms, self-governance, free and fair elections.
All his hand-wringing and whining, saying the process has to play itself out, even Jeff's tempered invocations for us to be patient is how the nation will be lost for good. They are serious. Deadly serious. They showed just how willing to MURDER us they are, how little they care about us during the Scamdemic. They've had no epiphanies since then. We are obligated to disobey them, and call for the nation's Chief Executive, Commander-in-Chief to do his duty to protect the nation from ALL enemies, foreign and domestic. Including enemy judges. NOBODY is above the law, right? And if a president isn't than surely a two-bit dirty anti-American whore in a black robe isn't.
I agree with the assessments in your first four paragraphs but not your last. You do not defeat your enemy by becoming him. I would submit that in doing so your enemy defeats you. If the rule of law matters, and I think it is the foundation of modern western civilization, then manipulation of it is wrong no matter who is doing it. (Same with racism.) In fact I think much of what we currently face arose from our government, and by definition us, condoning and implementing nefarious acts and calling it intelligence. Not so grand when being used against us, is it?
The Dems will win if they can cheat and Trump and all the rest of us will lose our country. If a national security e o can let the mail program work then be must do it preserve America
Marshall effectively assumed the right of final judicial review as belonging to the SCOTUS, without explicit constitutional authority. I've argued that instead of leaving matters of constitutionality to the Supreme Court, that function rightly belongs in congress or with the people. Judges (and justices and magistrates) are not elected by the people. Their appointments depend on political favor - usually they are recommended by senior senators in their states (for district judges) to the POTUS for nomination - and Senate approval. I think that whenever the courts decide that a matter is unconstitutional, that the matter should be referred to the congress for consideration. If congress agrees with the courts by a super majority vote (say 2/3rds in each chamber), then the matter is finally decided and becomes precedent; but, if congress does not agree by super majority vote, then the matter should be referred to the people in the form of a constitutional amendment.
Examine my argument and tell me where I'm wrong. The courts have long been used to force issues that lack popular support down the throats of the American people. It's called legislating from the bench. When any pressure group or financial interest cannot gain enough support for an issue to get it through congress, they turn to pressuring judges who are not answerable directly to the will of the people. Crappy rulings result then become precedent.
Would you support amending the constitution to take that power away from judges?
In Worcester v. Georgia the power of the executive was summed up in the quote attributed to Pres. Andrew Jackson, "John Marshall has made his decision; now let him enforce it."
The undisputed Jackson quote, same point but lacking the memorable color was that the decision had "fell still born" and that the Court "cannot coerce Georgia to yield to its mandate."
Your rendition of solutions forgets that the Court has no FORCE behind it to do anything. None. Its entire power if based on perceptions and consent. Just like the Founders intended it to be. That is one of the most powerful checks on judicial overreaches of all. And one that both the Obama and Biden administrations regularly availed themselves of.
What say you about these constraints on an tyrannical judiciary? Examine my argument and tell me where I'm wrong. The only reason the courts have long been used to 'force' issues that lack popular support down the throats of the American people is because the American people consent to abide by those anti-Constitutional rulings.
We see the law and rulings treated with reverence and adherence by only one side of the political side - the right. The Normals. Who dutifully obey rulings they know are wrong, they know the majority oppose. It is the left that disobeys rulings they don't like as a matter of course. Because they know there is no FORCE behind the rulings. They have their sanctuary cities with sanctuary police, sanctuary prosecutors and sanctuary judges who don't care one single bit about laws and rules they don't agree with. And pay no penalty for it. While the right hand-wrings, softly protests and then dutifully complies.
Justice Thomas was exactly right when he said at the Univ. of Texas Law School 250 Anniversary of the US earlier this year that we get the government we consent to. Consent. We don't have to consent to their rulings anymore than the left consents to their rulings. And for as long as the executive police powers are in OUR hands we should have no fear of FORCE being exacted onto us to comply. Unless the executive chooses to use police powers to help enFORCE rulings they claim to oppose. Which makes them rather suspect, no?
Oh my, me too! I laughed out loud at the carbons joke. I can still hear my brother saying "How long has that truck been sitting in the barn? Take that thing out and blow out the carbons!"
in the sports car wor/d in 1950's and 60's we said "opening it up". Neighbour had a 1965 Vo/vo 122, soe, ran rough, guess. He woud go out in the AM, start it, set the choce on, go bac inside and eat his Weetabix. Come bac out, shove the nob in, drive 5 m to wor, shut it down. Quiting time, he'd do the same, tchen drive 5 m home and shut it down. He was happy to grab my $200. Nothing better than a heavy right toe on the centre peda/.
While I always appreciate Jeff’s humor, this was kind of a depressing post. I am so sick of all of our 3 separations of government power thumbing their noses at what the American public wants. Congress won’t pass the SAVE act, with absolutely no logical explanation why 83% of Americans who favor it, should just be ignored. And now we can’t have the postal system do something as simple as run a data base for citizens voting to be tracked, dead people need not apply. There is no real reason to be against this, except that it would be for the good of the country. I will pray fervently, that the Supremes get busy and come up with a decent decision over the weekend. We already have a Congress that does NOTHING but spend money we don’t have.
The hidden money’s in these non charity, charities is galling. Why is Antifa quiet? My guess is the midterms. Keep riling up the Red voters and you will see a turnout like 2020, too big to ignore.
Michigan voters turned in a 740,000 signature initiative to get “Citizens Only Vote” on the ballot for November. It was turned in in March. It was slow walked by the SOS who, surprise, is running for governor, until last week. 449,000 signatures are needed to get it on the ballot. The SoS appointed canvassers selected 1000 signatures at random to authenticate, so we were told. 13 were designated incorrect, short of the 629 threshold needed. An urgent request was sent out for the random 13 picks that were disqualified to authorize in person with a notary that their signatures and addresses were correct. Ten of the 13 did so and made the unspecified deadline. The last 3 needed also did authenticate their signatures but two of the Board of Canvassers said they arrived too late and voted against the initiative going to the ballot. A board of 4 canvassers, two Democrats, two Republicans must have a 3 vote majority to move it along. The two Dems voted against, so it is deadlocked and dies. The corruption is so absolute, it is just discouraging. And the state media covers for all of it.
“For from the rising of the sun even to its setting, My name will be great among the nations, and in every place incense is going to be offered to My name, and a grain offering that is pure; for My name will be great among the nations,” says the LORD of hosts.
Guys, I have to share something or I’m going to bust. A few months ago, I felt led to send one of my books to Gov. Sanders of Arkansas. I included a note thanking her for her stand for Christ and for being a light in the often dark world of politics. This week I received a letter with a personal thank you note from her. It was such a sweet blessing from God.
Thank you Janice, sadly His name has become unspoken and meaningless for the vast majority in this country and the world. The nations rage, our political and social problems are a direct result of our Godlessness. History shows us that His judgement and punishment can be swift and severe. Best be one of His children, in His book of life. "Humble yourselves before the Lord and He will exalt you. James 4:10
The nations rage, the kingdoms totter; He utters His voice, the earth melts. The Lord of Hosts (aka the Commander of the Armies) is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Somewhere in Psalms.
Indeed... This is the sad state of affairs in which American Christians now find themselves and the churches refuse to call us to repent of our arrogance. Instead, we are lead astray by political and religious leaders to go abroad to look for dragons to slay. Buckle up. A reckoning is coming.
Indeed, throughout every age and tribulation, the Kingdom of our Lord and Savior continues to advance through the actions of "His Anointed", the Body of Christ on earth empowered by the indwelling of the Holy Spirit against which no evil spirit can prevail...
"Why do the nations rage,
And the people plot a vain thing?
The kings of the earth set themselves,
And the rulers take counsel together,
Against the Lord and against His Anointed, saying,
“Let us break Their bonds in pieces
And cast away Their cords from us.”
He who sits in the heavens shall laugh;
The Lord shall hold them in derision.
Then He shall speak to them in His wrath,
And distress them in His deep displeasure:
“Yet I have set My King
On My holy hill of Zion.”...
Blessed are all those who put their trust in Him."
For those who have been lead to believe that Satan is the ruler of this world and that Christ must come a second time to establish His kingdom, I would point out that Christ established His kingdom with His Ascension and Glorification as King of kings and Lord of lords 2,000 years ago when He sat down on His Throne at the right hand of the Father to rule and reign without end. Upon His Ascension, Satan lost standing in God's court and fell to earth like lightning who is now nothing more than a squatter waiting to be evicted by the Body of Christ. Christ poured out the Holy Spirit to inhabit His Body on earth, the Anointed Ones, and commissioned His Body to go forth in the full armor of God to do battle against Satan and the world systems who "set themselves and take counsel together against the Lord and against His Anointed." Christ now rules as King from His Throne on God's holy hill of Zion whose rule will be without end. And in that we can find assurance and confidence. Do not be mislead by false gospels of zionism and racial exceptionalism. God's children have always been those who believe in His Son, the Messiah.
~60 years ago, J. Vernon McGee spoke of the only way for America.
“Friends, we've hit the bottom of the hill. That's where we are today. But God is saying to us today, Come now, let us reason together, saith the Lord. Though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be white as snow, though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.
Today, there's a way out for America. But if America goes like other nations, and we're moving in that direction, our time is limited as a great nation, by the way. There is a way out.
Philosophy says, think your way out.
Indulgence says, drink your way out.
Politics says, spend your way out.
Liberalism says, legislate your way out.
Science says, invent your way out.
Industry says, work your way out.
And labor says, strike your way out.
And fascism says, bluff your way out.
And militarism says, fight your way out.
The Bible says, pray your way out.
And the Lord Jesus said, I am the way out. I am the way, the truth and the life. No man cometh to the Father but by me. And I am the door, by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved. That's the only hope.”
From J. Vernon McGee - Thru the Bible - Old Testament - Bible Studies - Book by Book: 23_Isaiah_01-02, Jan 20, 2014
He died in 1988, so 2014 would not be the date of the original quote. Nonetheless, he is correct that much prayer is needed. My beef with so many Christians is that they think they don't have to do anything except pray. Get your righteous little bums down to the voting booth! P.S. not saying anything about the original poster, just a reference in general to far too many fellow churchgoers who think it is holier not to vote.
Completely agree. Don’t sit on the sidelines. There is certainly one cause we can each get behind & support with our time, money or our voice.
Look at history how the church remained basically silent. The preacher made the choir sing louder as the trains passed by on their way to concentration camps with precious ones locked inside. Teach your grands history. Teach the littles to love America 🇺🇸. We are flawed but we are still in the Land of the free & Home of the brave. Stand up when everyone else is sitting. We are not better but we are different. Act like it don’t sit back and wait on somebody else to save us from tyranny.
As my twin sister Laura says “you are going to have to pick a side”
Not a stat. Personal experience from attending hundreds of gatherings over the years. IF all the Christians who COULD vote WERE voting, there is no way the country would be in such a mess. The closeness of so many elections is a sure tell that too many people are at home instead of at the polls, given the overwhelming number of folks who answer surveys claiming to be Christians of some flavor or another. I have heard dozens and dozens of Christians over the years say they don't vote when they can't find a candidate who passes their holiness test. They don't understand that when they don't vote for the lesser of two evils, they are not being neutral. I stand behind my assertion that there is a disturbing lack of participation on the part of American Christians in our duty to vote. My interpretation of "don't hide your light" vis-a-vis our American citizenship is that we should always make a choice at the booth. There is no neutral ground. Failure to vote is a choice to let evil go forward. Satan's minions are highly motivated.
You're entitled to your opinion. I cannot discern an advantage to generalizing about all Christian non-voters. There could be 82 million reasons.
Only 52% of the entire U.S. population votes, so the people staying home is not limited to Christians.
That said, here are some legitimate public stats to shine a light on this:
- Pew's validated-voter data found religiously affiliated Americans had 51% turnout in the 2022 midterms, compared with 39% among the religiously unaffiliated.
- Historically, Barna found 2016 presidential turnout of 61% among evangelicals, 58% among other born-again Christians, and 59% among other self-identified Christians.
- In 2024, PRRI found white evangelical Protestants, white mainline Protestants, and white Catholics were actually overrepresented among voters compared with non-voters.
You just made my point even better than I did. 39% of Evangelicals stayed home, 42% of "other born-again" sat out, and 41% of "other Christian" couldn't be bothered. That is a HUGE number of missing votes. I rest my case.
Be very wary of Statistics. So-called surveys can be manipulated in many ways, from the wording of the Questions to the interpretation of the results. As a Social Scientist, I know how unreliable they can be.
61% of evangelicals voted. That is a majority, and it exceeds the rate of the general population. Is the expectation here that 62-100% of Christian should vote? What about the rest of the country?
Everyday, every meal, we Pray, and PRAISE & THANK GOD for our LORD And SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST......
2 Chronicles 7:14 AMP
[14] and My people, who are called by My Name, humble themselves, and pray and seek (crave, require as a necessity) My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear [them] from heaven, and forgive their sin and heal their land.
Ohmboy , Completely agree. Don’t sit on the sidelines. There is certainly one cause we can each get behind & support with our time, money or our voice.

We can only hope that SCOTUS overturns this ruling by Talwani. At least she is consistent in her efforts to hinder election integrity. Is there a Trump EO coming soon?
10 Last of all, I must remind you that we are all fighting in a spiritual battle. We are weak human beings, so let your strength come from our Great Warrior Chief. 11 The only way to stand strong against the war plans of the evil trickster is to put on Creator’s war garments. 12 But remember, we are not fighting against human beings. Our battle is against the evil rulers, the dark powers, and the spiritual forces of the spirit-world above and around us.
13 Once you are fully dressed for this war, you will be able to stand your ground in this day of the enemy’s evil rule. You are now ready to make your stand—so stand strong. 14 Wrap the sash of truth around your waist. Cover your heart with the breastplate of making wrongs right again. 15 Put on your feet the moccasins of Creator’s peace treaty, so you will always be ready to tell the good story as you walk the road of life. 16 Then you must raise high the shield of trusting in Creator. This shield will put out the flaming arrows of the evil one. Do not forget to 17 put on the headdress of Creator’s power to rescue and set free, and use the long knife of the Spirit—which is the word of Creator coming from your mouth.
These activist judges are doing everything in their power to, they hope, flip the House and Senate. They also hope to guarantee the election of many DSA members into federal office— which would be disastrous on every level.
The World Order sets up countless groups to promote any type of idea, and then sets up other groups to fanatically oppose them, but the masters have no dedication to anything except slavery." The World Order Eustace Mullins 1992
I love how this administration seems to have a precise strategic framework to expose & destroy the Marxists. The Democrats continue to move further and further left without realizing they are on a plank off the port side of the USS America. Splish splash, losers!
Doesn’t a law, like the save act, make more sense. If there aren’t enough votes, negotiate, make changes to the bill, give the holdouts what it takes to pass the bill. This is the frustration people have that vote republicans into power and things that were promised to get fixed don’t. There are 67 days until the November election. The communists will line up judge after judge to stop the attempt to clean up elections. A law would be much better and more permanent. If Thune can’t do the job…
Thune has proven that he can't our won't do the job! He needs to be tossed out on his ear!! And as far as these injunctions, it appears this has all been very well thought out and timed so that they can't be implemented before the mid-terms... just as the powers-at-be want this whole situation to play out! And one more time the citizens get screwed by our own government! This is disgraceful!
Yes, Thune has sadly shown his thick RINO skin. He is almost certainly going to be ousted when his term is up. We are wicked unhappy about it here in South Dakota.
Thune is likely willing to trade the street creds from holding up the SAVE Act for getting ousted and not having to deal with gov stuff. Especially if he's had enough time in place for his pension.
I just trust in the Lord! I’m letting Him take care of all of it. He is the Lord and He has His plan and there is nothing anyone can do to change His plan. So my remedy is to repent of my sins, turn to Him and pray. Worry is useless.
The Democrats can file lawsuits and request injunctions to try to strike down laws passed by Congress, too. So passing the Save Act wouldn’t settle the matter. The Supreme Court will end up having to hold that the Save Act is constitutional before Democrats will follow it.
I'm sure this is a stupid question, but why doesn't SCOTUS do anything about all of this lawfare? Judge shopping. Rogue judges. Unconstitutional national injunctions. I honestly don't know how it works, where SCOTUS is involved, but it seems to me they would be exhausted having to take on so many cases involving Trump over anything & everything. I realize that most of the cases are simply about slowing Trump down. They know they'll be overruled, but it buys them time and it gives media time to pile on. Are there no consequences for judges who rule via their Trump hate?
Everything happening is Congress’ fault. Period. None of it can be blamed on Trump. Had they properly supported the president the People elected, most of this would not be happening. But Trump has to take the blame. It’s maddening, like middle school maddening. 🙄
If I'm a judge and trying with everything I have to be impartial, and see what the scammer judge Talwani is doing. It makes it harder to be impartial. Corruption begets corruption.
Pray that the oft-indifferent conservative voters turn out in Antifa-like strength for the midterms.
A Democrat capture of either (or both) houses of Congress will IMMEDIATELY shut down all this good, republic-saving activity coming from Bessent et freres.
It'll be "impeach! impeach!" and "block the Trump agenda" 24/7 until 2028.
Yes, and be sure to join efforts to get them out to the polls, whether through your own individual efforts at telling friends and making calls or joining get out the vote efforts via Republican groups, etc
What the hell are you talking about? If Trump hadn’t built the ball in Texas, there would be a lot more people upset. This is what I (a Texan) voted for as well as many of my other friends who by the way live in Texas.
Islam has been at war with everyone else since its inception. You think you can "COEXIST" with a death cult? Maybe you should move to one of the many countries where the native people have been subjected to rule by Islam.
Where did you see me say anything about "coexisting"? I think one does not eliminate an Islamist nation, surrounded by several allies, with pinprick bombing. If the western world wants to eliminate Iran, a full-on military ground and air offensive, assisted by the US's purported allies, is required ... along with some vigorish to keep various regional Arab states from destroying our in-country assets and destroying Israel as well.
Anyone who thinks this war is about Terrorists, Islam, Nuclear Weapons, or anything other than PROFITS, needs to hurry up and take the red pill.
Every bad thing that has happened to Iran since the end of WW2, the wars, the dictators, the oppression, the invasions, the Mullahs, the droughts, has all been orchestrated and manipulated by City of London, using their private military attack dogs, the U.S.
All because Iran kicked British Petroleum out of Iranian oil fields after WW2. So City of London, the financial headquarters of the Evil, had the U.S. overthrow that Iranian government and gave Iraq everything it needed to invade Iran. Forcing decades of war and oppression onto the Iranian people.
British Petroleum is coming for Iranian oil. And when the Iranians started building weapons, Trump imposed sanctions on them.
And when they persisted Trump bombed them.
And then Trump attacked Iran.
Larry Johnson did a good outline (obviously written before the war) titled:
"Iran Does Not Hate Americans… But it Has Legitimate Reasons to Do So"
Sorry, I never believed election integrity rules would make it in time. So all those blue states elections will be tainted for 2026. If congress flips to blue, forget the Save Act and watch the next two years of impeachment and 100% blockage of Trump’s agenda. Dang it!
I would very much like to subpoena Talwani’s emails, text messages and phone calls. I’ve no doubt she’s got an army of Norm Eisen’s and Marc Elias’ battery of lawyers - if not they themselves! - on speed dial during this whole travesty of lawfare.
"She issued a temporary injunction applying to both cases, a time-saving technique as sensible as mixing two recipes in the same bowl because dinner starts in 20 minutes"
THIS is why I return here ever dang day 🤣
Happy Weekend everyone!

If that's what democracy and elected leadership looks like, held high for the world to see, sacrifice for in Ukraine, it is certainly fit for the US model. Right?
Whew FF. That was a mouthful....... agreed.
Just like his first term, Trump listens to all the wrong people (eventually) and any of the good gets bulldogged by the blunders. In my myopic view, he does the bidding to be liked within his class, damn the rest of us.
Later Jay
"It's all bullshit. Our nation's jurisprudence is a sick joke."
This summary "judgment" is accurate
You are correct. There is no duty to obey an order void on its face but there is to obey a voidable order. The problem is that it is the judiciary which decides which is which.
When President Trump et al ignores or disobeys a judicial order, the left will stop a nothing to eliminate him thru impeachment prison or worse.
Marbury + Throckmorton = THE NEW REPUBLIC!
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marbury_v._Madison
https://supreme.justia.com/cases/federal/us/98/61/
Marshall effectively assumed the right of final judicial review as belonging to the SCOTUS, without explicit constitutional authority.
Us rednecks called it, blowing the soot out of it.
in the sports car wor/d in 1950's and 60's we said "opening it up". Once mine, I gave it a good tuning, went out and got on a good grade. 3rd gear, wide open peda, poured thic darc soot over the area. Once gone, that car cruised at 80 ,and got 35 mpg doing it, hours on end. I ran that car 100,000 mi/es hen sod it at $800.
I need some good news for a change.
I recommend bookmarking this C&C from 7/15 and revisiting it frequently!

Seems like Trump found and bookmarked it!
I think we need some good government (or at least a LOT less) for a change.

How wonderful! God is good! ✝️💟
Very cool, Janice. Keep spreading the Gospel! ❤️
Absolutely wonderful!!!
Leave your offering at the altar until you have first made peace with your brother.
-- Jesus, in the Sermon on the Mount as recorded in Matthew's gospel, chapter 5.
History has borne this out without fail
Indeed, throughout every age and tribulation, the Kingdom of our Lord and Savior continues to advance through the actions of "His Anointed", the Body of Christ on earth empowered by the indwelling of the Holy Spirit against which no evil spirit can prevail...
"Why do the nations rage,
And the people plot a vain thing?
The kings of the earth set themselves,
And the rulers take counsel together,
Against the Lord and against His Anointed, saying,
“Let us break Their bonds in pieces
And cast away Their cords from us.”
He who sits in the heavens shall laugh;
The Lord shall hold them in derision.
Then He shall speak to them in His wrath,
And distress them in His deep displeasure:
“Yet I have set My King
On My holy hill of Zion.”...
Blessed are all those who put their trust in Him."
Psalm 2
This Psalm is never far from my mind these days.

J. Vernon McGee. We listen to him every night. Timeless. Your word is a lamp unto my feet & a light unto my path Psalm 119: 105 ♥️
That's great, Leslie! I don't think I've met anyone else who listens to his timeless teachings. Be blessed, sister. 🙏🏼
My hubs is a southern boy♥️and has been listening & reading his study guides for years. J. Vernon McGee is online & all completely free 🥰
It was between 1967-1972-ish. It was posted to a podcast in 2014.
Hmmmm. I don't know any Christians who disavow voting as "unholy." Where'd you get that stat?
Ohh believe me I’ve sat right next to them at church. All through the years

We can only hope that SCOTUS overturns this ruling by Talwani. At least she is consistent in her efforts to hinder election integrity. Is there a Trump EO coming soon?
Dave, were you able to get the roof and all fixed?
Does SCOTUS have time?
Of course they do, easy peasy. 😉😂
Good Friday morning all!
Put on the armor of God so that you may be able to stand firm against the tactics of the devil.
Ephesians 6:11
Ephesians 6:10-17 (First Nations Version)
Sounds nicer when read from KJV or the ESV
Also ask the Holy Spirit for strength every day.
These activist judges are doing everything in their power to, they hope, flip the House and Senate. They also hope to guarantee the election of many DSA members into federal office— which would be disastrous on every level.

I just heard that from now on Canadian geese would be called Donald Ducks.
Thune is a former (/sarc) dem
I'm sure this is a stupid question, but why doesn't SCOTUS do anything about all of this lawfare? Judge shopping. Rogue judges. Unconstitutional national injunctions. I honestly don't know how it works, where SCOTUS is involved, but it seems to me they would be exhausted having to take on so many cases involving Trump over anything & everything. I realize that most of the cases are simply about slowing Trump down. They know they'll be overruled, but it buys them time and it gives media time to pile on. Are there no consequences for judges who rule via their Trump hate?
Those issues are under the purview of Congress. Who are out on extended recess.
Everything happening is Congress’ fault. Period. None of it can be blamed on Trump. Had they properly supported the president the People elected, most of this would not be happening. But Trump has to take the blame. It’s maddening, like middle school maddening. 🙄
Repubs letting their majority go to waste is sickening.
Well, if that's the case, nothing will be done. 😡
Good question. I know someone has to file it, and it has to go up the chain.

Happy sunny sleepy Friday everyone! Thanks for the well wishes for my girl and their little one. Her lungs are in great shape! 😆
THIS!!!
Yes, and be sure to join efforts to get them out to the polls, whether through your own individual efforts at telling friends and making calls or joining get out the vote efforts via Republican groups, etc
Trump should’ve considered that before building the Texas Wall. Enough people here are ticked off enough to vote in a Democrat senator, unfortunately.
Please tell me Texans aren’t that stupid!
What the hell are you talking about? If Trump hadn’t built the ball in Texas, there would be a lot more people upset. This is what I (a Texan) voted for as well as many of my other friends who by the way live in Texas.
So conservatives are mad about the border wall? Lol. I smell a troll.

... and before starting a war with a 1300 year old religious cult.
The cult started the war. The cult is opposed to the nation state concept.

'The nation’s “first Indian-American federal judge,” Indira Talwani...'
She's not Indian-American. She's New Jersey-American. Thanks a bunch, Englewood. 🙄🙄🙄
Sorry, I never believed election integrity rules would make it in time. So all those blue states elections will be tainted for 2026. If congress flips to blue, forget the Save Act and watch the next two years of impeachment and 100% blockage of Trump’s agenda. Dang it!

Take a look at her finances, too.
Judicial watch may just be working on that
