It's a huge scam. And the biggest part of it is the pharmaceutical industry.

They've got almost an entire population inured to regular "checkups" (read: profit boosters) so that they can see if there are any more Rx's they can add to your already long list.

Pharma exec's boats don't buy themselves.

FOLLOW THE MONEY! Docs should have to wear patches in their coats of which pharma companies are paying them $$$ to push their drugs.

Totally agree. In the movie, “Mystery Men”, the most popular super hero, Captain Amazing, played by Greg Kinnear, got all sorts of endorsements by sponsoring companies and wore patches on his costume advertising the companies. Doctors should be upfront with their sponsors.

Heterodoxy has me thinkin crazy things. Like, when my number’s up, its up. Time to go. Having family members exit in their infancy, 20s and 50s will do that for ya. It’s a short trip even if you break 100. I mean, if we’re talking about eternity...

I prefer to think of "Wellness checks" this way: "You come to your Pharma Sales Office for no reason whatsover, and WE get a check!"

That keeps our boat payment in the pink, so to speak.
