Following this election, I realized that reading C & C has made my view of current events much different from many right leaning, blackpilling citizens out there.
I've been listening to some quotes from some of the disaffected 2024 Trump voters who voted blue this year. They were talking about how the president hasn't kept promises, hasn't helped the economy, has only been interested in stirring things up not taking care of business, not keeping us from forever middle east wars (ok, they're pretty right on that one), etc.
I'm listening to that and thinking, "Where have they been? Trump and the admin have accomplished tons of great things and have kept lots of promises!" I realized most all of them aren't reading an optimistic daily rundown that explains all the good that the admin does, the Dem polycrisis, all the things that go right, and mostly ignores the personal drama around the President's statements, tweeting and such.
That's the way I like it, but very few people are getting that daily education.

Remember before the election I said we would be severely tested. When the global marxists massively, undeniably stole election after election, the test started. It’s shocking how many people on both sides of the aisle don’t know about the things Trump has accomplished. Like the 401k for people without that option at their jobs… probably 90% of people I mention it to have never heard of it, and most of the people I come in contact with are normal middle of the road people.
Because people don't get their news here, they get it from the MSM and Tik Tok. and those giving them the news suppress anything good coming from Trump. Easy to understand actually. The only shocking thing is why we put up with it.

He is rather amusing, but I do wish he would try to be a bit more insightful. My favorite is Lawrence Jones. LJ needs some elocution lessons (his mispronunciations can be distracting at times), but he has by far the most insightful commentary. And I just skip over that vapid Ainsley the second she opens her mouth. Why is she still on? She not only is no value added with her constant "cute" comments but she has the most annoying habit of repeating everything just said by the others and she really has no intellectual depth at all. We gave her months to see if maybe we were judging too quickly, but no. She never got better. Have people realized that it has turned out that the American people listened to the campaign messaging after all—just not quite the way overconfident fools here expected.
If the election was a referendum on the "radical left," then the logic is inescapable: since POTUS Trump spent the entire midterm cycle saying to vote as if he was on the ballot and warning that a vote for Democrats was a vote for "godless socialism, communism, and Islamism," and the voters went out and elected them anyway, the American people must have looked at that exact warning and collectively declared, "Yes, please. The data certainly point to a spectacular backfire, leaving pollsters utterly bewildered yet again. The fake polls massively underestimated Democratic support across the board, rendering the final results "too big to rig." I am completely numb. I cannot believe what I am seeing. The midterm election results are an absolute farce, and the Democrats have completely stolen and rigged this election.
There is absolutely no way they legitimately flipped the Senate. Are you honestly trying to tell me that Texas magically turned blue and James Talarico won fairly? Or that Susan Collins was actually defeated in Maine? It defies all logic.

The only thing the GOP (read: Thune) could have done to pass the SAVE Act would have been to nuke the filibuster. He could’ve tried getting rid of the silent filibuster, and I think he should’ve at least tried, but nuking it was the only sure way. Now that the D’s control both houses, it’s hard to imagine a worse scenario than a nuked filibuster! We need to be careful of that for which we wish.
