I don't and have never bought the story of Trump saving us all. I certainly hope I am wrong, however. There are just as many red flags you can point to as there are hopeful things.....so....(as Jeff would say)

Trump is a mixed bag. He is not one of us by many metrics but nonetheless he comes with a very human range of feeling which allows him to have sympathy for the plight of his fellow beings. He has done many good things and some things not very good ... and when it comes to covid and warp speed 'not so good' appears to be vast understatement, even though I am in not position to say what Trump knew or did not know. Nonetheless, Trump is one of the ablest of men in our times, both smart and skilled ... and in no way just an average man. But as well let me say that I most often agree with the criticisms of Trump. And yet, recognizing the good, bad and ugly is all mixed up in most of humankind, I voted for the Trump ticket. I mostly did that because to vote in the other direction or to not vote at all in the present circumstances would have been dereliction, the vacating of all sense of moral obligation.

Musk is another bag of worms. Very smart, very complex. Like Trump, Musk is an insider of sorts and very deeply connected. If I had to choose between Musk and Trump to be a friend, I would choose Trump. I will leave it there.

The great herds of humanity are always ruled over by the very few. And with a few exceptional periods in history, most rulers most of the time are far from being angels. There is a huge remake of Western Civilization in the works now by all appearances, and gaining steam. The great herds of humanity will get some, perhaps a good deal of relief out of it but they most certainly will be fooled and tricked once again by a new narrative which is by all forgetting is more an old narrative rekindled. That is, the more things change, the more they remain the same. That is the old saw, and still hold tried and true. And as well, the pendulum is forever always swing from on extreme to another with a patch of relative rest and calm in between the extremes of swings.

Israel is very much like the US in that most of the population is upset with their government just as are we ... and for many of the same reasons. My hunch is that the Apex Money already understands that Israel too has to be pulled in from the brink of impending disaster. I believe that 'business as usual' with the maniacal Zionist madmen cannot simply go on forever. One way or another all insanity eventually burns itself out ... for awhile. The only questions are: 1) at what cost, and 2) ... at whose greater expense?

If I had to choose between Elon and Trump.....ha! What an exercise. I too would choose Trump. Any day.

Saw your comment after posting mine. I see we are doing some parallel thinking.

Well, you are after all one of the less than a handful which understand anything which I might say. And I have received much enjoyment and satisfaction from that.

This insight gave me pause for thought. 2 minutes

If we don't get bombed back to the stone age, perhaps society will use the capability of communications and AI that could make referendums instantly available to "leaders"... or something along those lines. I don't think people would vote for wars the way the elites do.

A parallel observation in de Tocqueville's L'Ancien Régime et la Révolution is that in spite of the slogan of Liberté, Égalité, Fraternité, the revolution created more centralized power than the Sun King, Louis Quatorze could have possibly have dreamt of. That one stuck with me. And now take the modern techno-terror state with the ante upped a hundred fold!
