For thirty years before he ran for office, Donald Trump quietly paid mortgages, flew sick children across the country, and wrote checks to strangers who needed help. You will not find those stories on the evening news. So here they are.

Abraham Foxman, who ran the Anti-Defamation League at the time, said Trump shined a light on the ugly side of Palm Beach that the glitter usually hid. Foxman also said other clubs started admitting Jews and Blacks after Trump forced the issue.
In 2000, Trump was watching Maury Povich and saw a little girl named Megan who lived with brittle bone disease. He said her attitude got to him. He called the show and sent her family a large check.
In 2008, Jennifer Hudson's mother, brother, and nephew were murdered in Chicago. Trump moved Hudson and her family into his Chicago hotel at no charge and had his security team watch over them while they grieved.

In the town 15 minutes away from me, a little girl was home from Children's Hospital in Pittsburgh where she was being treated for cancer. A few months later she was back in the hospital for more treatment as her cancer had returned. This time she got a letter from Donald and Melania Trump. And then the news came that the Trumps had paid off her hospital bills. None of this ever became public knowledge.
There is also the story of Trump's father paying for one of his classmates to continue with his Catholic school education after his father suffered hart attack.
The Bible tells us to never let the left hand know what the right hand is doing. In other words, no one needs to know about the good you do, it is none of their business! My mom and dad gave very generously to people, charities and churches. They did it most of the time in cash, their business, no one else's. Our pastor on Key Biscayne told us the story about a woman who came to him after church one Sunday and asked to meet privately in his office. When she arrived she immediately handed him a check written in a very large amount. He was stunned. "I don't even know your name, who should I personally thank for this wonderful gift?" Her reply was simple, "My elderly aunt left it to me. I had no idea, so I made no plans to keep it. You don't need to know any names. God knows."

He fixed the Wollman Skating Rink in NYC’s Central Park in 1986 after the city failed for many years and millions of dollars to do it. He did it ahead of schedule and under budget and it became the crown jewel of Central Park.

We have been blessed to have such a man as President who truly loves this country. He may have a large ego but he has a heart of gold as evidenced by your stories.
I'm not a New Yorker, don't profess to understand them, and may be way off base, but I wonder about the "large ego". Barack, Hillary, and Joe had large egos that you can plainly see in their speech and actions including an obvious lack of empathy. I wonder if it's Trump's ego or if it is more his shtick. People that have served during his presidency, Secret Service and other roles, say Trump is the only president that addresses them by name and will ask about their family. If a child or parent has a problem, Trump will ask about it next time he sees them. These agents say it’s remarkable how he remembers.

The clip-on microphone as the potential murder weapon (concept proven with the Israeli walkie talkies), the re-paving of the crime scene 48hrs post-assassination (per the FBI & Governor's orders), the timing of events given Charlie's stance on Israel becoming unfavorable to the current political regime... There needs to be a full, thorough, and REAL investigation done by a non-compromised third party, but I doubt we'll ever see that happen. God bless him & his family, he deserved better.

How many generations of good people have we eliminated?

She had just sent a letter I believe to her mother saying how wonderful her husband is. How supportive he has been and what a wonderful husband and father he is. So I don’t think, if he was having an affair, she knew about it. I thought the same thing until I heard about the letter. There was far more evidence that just what the husband said. Mrs. Clancy signed a written confession, and has never denied she killed the kids.
I do believe the "not guilty by reason of insanity" defense is sometimes appropriate, and this may be such a time.
This is far from the first case like this. Andrea Yates is a prominent example from awhile back. I wish the case had gotten much less publicity, though, because it may have spawned copycat murders.

I was thinking the other day about why Trump feels the need to call everything "Trump" (which kind of has bothered me tbh) and had the sudden insight that quite possibly, it's so that THEY won't be able to take credit for all of HIS ideas at some point in the future!

In the town 15 minutes away from me, a little girl was home from Children's Hospital in Pittsburgh where she was being treated for cancer. And then the news came that the Trumps had paid off her hospital bills. None of this ever became public knowledge.
There is also the story of Trump's father paying for one of his classmates to continue with his Catholic school education after his father suffered hart attack.
The most notable thing about his generosity is that he never talks about it.
The Bible tells us to never let the left hand know what the right hand is doing. In other words, no one needs to know about the good you do, it is none of their business! My mom and dad gave very generously to people, charities and churches. They did it most of the time in cash, their business, no one else's. Our pastor on Key Biscayne told us the story about a woman who came to him after church one Sunday and asked to meet privately in his office. When she arrived she immediately handed him a check written in a very large amount. He was stunned. "I don't even know your name, who should I personally thank for this wonderful gift?" Her reply was simple, "My elderly aunt left it to me. I had no idea, so I made no plans to keep it. You don't need to know any names. God knows."

He fixed the Wollman Skating Rink in NYC’s Central Park in 1986 after the city failed for many years and millions of dollars to do it. He did it ahead of schedule and under budget and it became the crown jewel of Central Park.

We have been blessed to have such a man as President who truly loves this country. He may have a large ego but he has a heart of gold as evidenced by your stories.
I'm not a New Yorker, don't profess to understand them, and may be way off base, but I wonder about the "large ego". Barack, Hillary, and Joe had large egos that you can plainly see in their speech and actions including an obvious lack of empathy. I wonder if it's Trump's ego or if it is more his shtick. Granted it must be tough for someone as successful as he to be humble, but the way he presents, and the things he does outside the limelight makes me wonder.

Linsey admitted to strangling her kids with a workout band. She said she took the older boy into the office in the cellar, the boy she said she greatly disliked and strangled him to death first. Then she took her daughter down into the office in the basement and strangled her to death. Then she took the 8 month old baby down to the basement and strangled him to death. Horrific, and there is no excuse. Women typically have PPD for 2 months maximum. This was 8 months later. IMO anyone that kills someone, aside from self defense is insane, so should we eliminate murder charges all together? These men that killed there families, did they go to jail for life or sentenced to death? Or were they acquitted and set free? My wife’s uncle who used to take her out with his two kids when they were little, he was a nice guy, caught his wife in bed with another man. He went on anti depressants but at some point strangled his wife to death. I’m sure his testosterone was elevated at the time and he was depressed so he should have been set free right?
Whoever did the killing should die and the one who helped be an accomplice. Ppl who are given drugs by others unknowingly or professionally are given leniency. We certainly must not assume that there are ppl who cannot or do not hate others. They are not saved but depraved. Was her hate for her children part of the her testimony? Hey husband's affair part of her insanity? Did he set her up to do it? Could he have? I know of ppl who have done such things. I just didn't think we should talk like we know but we must talk about how our own murderous culture has encouraged this and it's not just because this one got away!
She had just sent a letter I believe to her mother saying how wonderful her husband is. How supportive he has been and what a wonderful husband and father he is. So I don’t think, if he was having an affair, she knew about it. I thought the same thing until I heard about the letter. She was posting things on the internet and seemed as though she was trying to become some sort of influencer. Maybe the screen had something to do with it.
There was far more evidence that just what the husband said. Mrs. Clancy signed a written confession, and has never denied she killed the kids.
I do believe the "not guilty by reason of insanity" defense is sometimes appropriate, and this may be such a time.
This is far from the first case like this. Andrea Yates is a prominent example from awhile back. I wish the case had gotten much less publicity, though, because it may have spawned copycat murders.

I honestly believe that Trump isn't the one doing the meme's that he's got a person, or team of persons, doing them. Maybe he throws out some ideas and such, and he probably approves them, but I don't think he's actually creating them.

It doesn't bother me that the NYT or various Congresscritters say things like “truly unhinged,” “dangerous,” and potentially unfit for office, “ever wilder,” “ever more outrageous,” “bizarre,” “abnormal,” “frenetic,” “grandiose,” “belligerent,” “delusional,” “authoritarian,” “imperialist,” and evidence that he may have “lost his mind.”

I read one article recently about the perspective of three photographers who were in the media section. At least one was fearing for her life. They believe what these jerks write.
