Funny thing. Kinda. I have a condition called essential thrombocythemia. It basically means my body makes too many platelets so I have to take a drug to keep them in check. When I was diagnosed, the hematologist asked me if I spent my working life near a plug. ??? He meant a wall receptacle. They are trying to find a correlation for this condition by being exposed to electricity or magnetism. So being a welder in a power plant, where we used to nap leaning against 13,800 volt generators, and welding, I kinda laughed when he explained he was referring to an electrical outlet. And I’m still surrounded by welding machines in my retirement, a fine source of magnetism. So I’m guessing at this point I’m non polar.
My daughter has too many platelets for over 10 years. She doesnt want to take the meds. She feels ok.
She isnt disciplined at all, but once when she was living at home, I did research on natural wats to lower them and it worked. (gingko biloba, pomegranate, dark chocolate) The nurse asked her how she managed to lower them, and ( sickeningly and predictably) rolled her eyes at the answer.
Be cautious with chocolate. It is addictive. I thought it was a healthy anti-oxidant! It was a major contributor to having a toxic copper level. Chocolate is high in copper. If you are low in zinc, body will cling to copper to compensate.
Nattokinase can reduce them too. I just took a fibrinogen test and mine were actually too low. I was also taking aspirin, curcumin & omega 3’s. So I stopped the aspirin.
I'll put this into my mental file. Two titanium rods were inserted --either side of spine--in me 15 years ago.
