Gosh sorry to hear about the issues! Yes medical = meds! You tube Dr. Berg, he has great information about Hoshimotos....I believe you'll find iodine suggestions in there but I do love him and he is a very smart man...he is a Chiropractor and has studied nutrition and everything natural, he is amazing and they are trysding to silence him, of course!

Yes I too have followed Dr Berg since discovering him on YT. Isabella Wentz (Thyroid Pharmacist) is where I discovered that all my symptoms matched the connection to thyroid. Also Motivational Doc offers many good tips. I've never been on "meds" since my numbers were "normal"

I'm 68 now and it's been a frustrating ride trying to figure things out. Brain no longer works the way it once did. Chaos occupies a lot of my time. Thanks for your concern and keep the faith.

With all of the chaos and confusion in this world, I don't think any of us operate at full capacity without this or that to steal our concentration! Stay with God and all will work out....XOXO

HTMA (hair tissue mineral analysis) helped me overcome 6 yrs of tinnitus, brain fog, anxiety, insomnia, electrical hypersensitivity, chemical sensitivity. Lab showed toxic level of copper. After 8 months of changed diet and supplements, copper level was down to 'normal' level -- and I went to sleep to the sweet sound of silence for the first time in 6 yrs.

Interesting...when I was tested back in2018 my copper levels were normal but Zinc was low which caused my copper/zinc ratio to be out of balance. Maybe my copper level is actually high or at least higher than my body likes it. Thanks for that info...every little bit helps and glad you were healed

Where did you get the test from?

I also have low thyroid but with "normal numbers"… even though I had all the symptoms, my regular GP would not treat it. I have a naturopath who treats my thyroid using a much smaller range. It is a game changer. I am so sensitive that I can feel within a few days if my thyroid is off and I can adjust my prescription.

Absolutely true! Never dismiss dementia or other symptoms with TSH levels in the higher end of “normal.”

If only I could find someone like that

What state are you in? I've noticed that some places are more open to naturopathy than others
