Gotcha Bolton - No one's above the law now. Serves him right.
I keep hearing people reference Trump taking docs to Mar-A-Lago - well duh, he was president so declassified whatever he wanted to - Bolton never had that power.
Speaking of which - why can't I jump on google yet and see the documents that were recovered at Mar-A-Lago since they are declassified? now that Trump's back in charge, let's finally make them available for all as intended.
Biden or his minions took many documents, no doubt classified, to UPenn "Center for Diplomacy and Engagement" so that the Chinese could copy them and forward all info to China. Biden has committed treason.
Judge Kathleen M. Williams could have easily prevented the entire lawsuit from happening.
If she was worried about baby alligators nesting in the dusty, broken-down luggage conveyor being displaced, the simplest of solutions would simply to assign Samuel Brinton (who served as Biden's Energy Department's (DOE) deputy assistant secretary for spent fuel and waste disposition) to
Baggage Conveyor Belt 'duty'.
Everything passing through would have been double inspected and carried away.
I'd be shocked if they find classified docs. With all the writing on the wall over the last 7 months, he'd have to be a complete moron to still have them.
So, if they don't find any classified docs, is Bolton still "got?"
And this will alert anyone else who MIGHT still have classified docs to get rid of them.....cue the shredder sound.
In his "crowd," the raid will be brandished as a badge of honor. He'll be hailed as a martyr and his drinks will be paid for, for months. But, he'll still live under a shadow......if he has a shred of dignity, but every rock will need to be overturned.
Destruction of classified material by people who shouldn't have it....let alone outside a SCIF.....isn't much of a win.
Wondering when classified docs become evidence. Destroying evidence is a crime. The docs in the preserved burn bags may have pointed to Bolton. If he had docs but now no longer does, did he destroy evidence? 🧐
Won't likely destroy classified information - I would imagine they would relocate classified docs to a more "secure" location that could evade any potential raid on their home/property.
Digital information tends to be for life. He may have thought emptying his Windows trash can erased the evidence but they have very sophisticated ways of recovering and restoring the data.
Remember, "The process is the punishment". They might find evidence in his home, and they very well have enough evidence from other sources to charge him.
I assume the, oh so efficient and persistent, national archives librarian keeps a complete and thorough log of all classified documents so would know if any are missing? I would also assume that anyone who accessed them had to sign into a log?
Well, there’s classified, and then there’s private. I’m not entitled to see your private papers, even though they are of no National Security significance.
I heard this morning that even his personal notes, handwritten notes are classified and belong to the government. I wonder what the truth of the matter is.
From what I've read, EVERY thing any government employee writes or records in any way, while on official duty, is government property. Whether or not it is classified.
That's pretty much the same for any employee of any company too.
I think the whole reason they raided Mar-A-Lago was an attempt to confiscate documents that incriminated them. They believed Trump had the receipts on their corruption. It seems to me that would be the only reason to attempt something so desperate. Whether Trump actually has/had what they feared he had, they didn’t get it. That intel would be far too important to keep someplace that obvious. They’ve been running scared since the escalator and it’s all been planned to provoke these responses. Rats abandoning ship and we’re watching it in real time. The noose tightens ever so slightly - they will feel it soon and then we will begin to see the pieces fall into place.
Anyone who references Trump taking docs to MAL aren't bright enough to understand that the president can declassify documents of his choosing because they only listen to the corporate propaganda media.
About the documents-I know that’s so frustrating, when people keep running with lies that are just ‘no brainers’, but play well with idiots, who couldn’t think their way out of a paper bag.
I've thought about it, but, nah. Things just seem to pop outta my mouth or appear on the screen, not much reason or rhyme. I'm my father's son: a New York wisenheimer, as he used to call me. A clown without costume. Glad you aren’t too offended by my various quips and observations.
washington Heights WAS a nice area....... 70 years ago .
gradually other "elements" moved upwards towards and then past the George Wash. bus station . Last i knew ( like 40 years ago ..lol) ...... the area was not one that people aspired to live in .
Kathleen - Great comment. And Jeff had the same conclusion as Clandestine in his remarks this morning - that Bolton being a Republican and a former Trump admin official, prevents the MSM and Dems accusations of "political revenge". This is the perfect FIRST arrest.
I wasn't aware of that, thanks. I'm not on Twix any longer, but I do follow him on Truth Social and I also get his Substack. I do the same, like and repost, but now I can comment on his Substack.
So to sum up, the NY Court of Appeals is a 323 pages of time and $$$ wasting-abusing and fraudulent court that could easily be replaced by AI that could have produced the 2-1/2 pages that mattered in under 60 seconds. AI could also give a less obscure (concocted) property valuation range than idiot ENGORAN or any of the other fool-judges or DA morons who created the felony criminal fraud out of whole cloth.
Evaluations: The Mar-A-Lago evaluation was absurd in so many ways. Even though it is a residence, it is also a popular resort. That means it could produce ongoing gains in additions to its property value. Some of those gains would go to the same taxing authorities that tax us all into oblivion for our shanties that even family doesn't consider a suitable vacation spot. Surely this was taken into consideration by the same taxing authorities. Property tax discounts are given to business that provide other taxes to the government. Should a judge know this? Maybe not but one would expect that the judge would inquire as to why the taxed amount is so much lower than every other valuation of the property. Geesh.
Florida has a "Save Our Homes" amendment to the state constitution which limits the increase in taxable value each year to the CPI or 3%, whichever is less if the home is homesteaded. That makes it very difficult to use any info from the taxing authority for any other purpose.
Oh how we could use that limit on homesteaded property taxable value here in NC. We are all dreading the upcoming Property tax increase notices. Especially after Helene's impact on our area's government budgets. Last valuation, about 5 years ago, saw doubling of tax bills for some folks.
However, it doesn't stop them from raised the millage rate if they want. For example, our school board increased its millage by 50% for this upcoming year. I’m not sure why the schools need 50% more money!
Agree w your point except there is something about AI, like democrats(and most politicians), it will lie - synthesize info and then lie to you about. I forget the name for this phenomena but it is a very concerning anomaly. Like there is a hidden agenda again just like the democrats. I agree with you completely about the wasted money to the taxpayers and the time, precious time and energy completely wasted by so many but especially Trump and his team. I wish there as a way to make Leticia James and all those who were behind this abhorrent waste to pay it all back with interest - including an all the judgments and fees Trump had to pay. But for now I praise the Lord for people like Jeff Childers with their wonderful analytic minds and adept application of it that is helping us all hold the line against tyranny. I would not want to loose this kind of wisdom that comes from the human factor. AI assist, maybe yes, but never replacement for lived experience, conservative world view and valuing human life that comes from people like Jeff. Dear God, we need more people like Jeff Childers in positions who can make a difference. Please send us more and be sure to include his humor!
Great idea with one refinement: the AI writes the draft, but a person who knows things, a competent, honest judge, must decide if the AI missed anything, got things wrong, and most importantly, where real human reasoning is required, was the AI able to deliver something useful?
p.s., AI is a tool. I wonder if this is a useful analogy: it's like having a new tool from Harbor Freight that appears to be good for many things. But each time you try to use it, it doesn't work very well. Or if it does, you later find out the job you did with it was done wrong. Yet for some reason you assume that's because you're using it wrong. Or maybe you need HF to improve the design?
A self-described professor posted an ad for a ‘nanny’ on Nextdoor. (Yes, I know..) Anyway, she got a couple of responses but the best was clearly written by AI. It started with some inane quote, unattributed, about the sovereignty of children, and comtinued in high-falutin’ verbiage (attempt to impress the professor?) downhill from
there. The AI program failed to punctuate accurately and the applicant for the job did not bother to correct it. 😂
Better Late: Late or early, we thank you for what you do! It is difficult to imagine what it would be like trying to sift through all this chaos without your guidance. It can be difficult to wait; however James may help with that.
My brothers count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the proving of your faith works patience. But let patience have its perfective work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing. (James 1:2-4, LITV).
Nah, I’m praying that Trump nominates Hillary as next ambassador to Haiti. She’d last for about three minutes after arrival. Also Bill would second the nomination.
I wonder why Trump ever had this guy in his cabinet. Bolton was a narcissistic neocon, that gave horrible advice to several administrations! Remember weapons of mass destruction!!
Trump has said he used Bolton to spook the other side in negotiations.
He said he (Trump) could be quite reasonable, knowing the other side were eyeing Bolton thinking: «Trump seems OK but that guy looks like he wants to bomb is into oblivion». 😱😅
Possibly to make some RINO neocons think he wanted war so he could keep them happy to keep the republican voting block somewhat intact. You know, keep your enemies closer…
I've noticed a lot of "entitled" people think they're entitled to health, and can't grasp that just like anyone else, they have to do things they'd rather not like eat real food, avoid eating junk, and go out of their way to exercise. They can't imagine suffering consequences for anything they do. I love seeing the results.
A little solace for me ....in my seventies......comes from the fact that so many of these rich , self loving people are indeed now looking a lot worse than yours truly.
Health is wealth ............. (especially when reaching those fools gold years )
Right after 'Alligator Alcatraz' was announced, I also predicted that it would be challenged and sued for environmental violations. Even so, I must admit that I am surprised that my prediction actually happened.
De Santis should have known that if you take federal money, it doesn't matter if it is a State project, you will still be subject to federal regulations. Now FL has to return all of that federal money to cut that federal tie, and still challenge it in court.
After doing more research on this than I already did before I made my first prediction, I found that Alligator Alcatraz is on or near a protected federal wildlife refuge. Also, that was an abandoned jetport that was never intended or designed for "residents".
That may be one of the many reasons why it was abandoned long ago to begin with.
SO, even though I don't like that judge, I will hazard another prediction that she has a very good case and will prevail over De Santis, unless he gets out of that federal bind he is in.
The legal term for that is to "extricate" that State project from its federal clutches.
That's just another armchair lawyer prediction, which most have actually happened...
Creating dependency on the government is a horrible experiment gone bad, and creates bad feelings for those of us who have to create payment plans to pay THE REST of our taxes not taken out of our paycheck, claiming 1 deduction. And then we must pay to deal with welfare fraud!
Historians like Alexander Tytler studied the various democracies throughout history and saw that creating dependency was the last stage of any democracy (including a constitutional republic) before Tyranny. Alexis de Tocqueville said, “The American Republic will endure until the day Congress discovers that it can bribe the public with the public's money.”
Love the videos on X of the poor welfare moms crying that they can no longer buy certain junk food with their free EBT card or suddenly getting letters in the mail that they are required to do 15 hours of community service to continue getting welfare! That one is a classic. The lack of self awareness is unreal
I especially loved the o e w the young mom saying how can she provide for her child without Section 8 help while showing her tattooed hand - she somehow found some bucks to spend there!
Yes, all those tats, and she admitted to getting TWO THOUSAND $ a MONTH in food benefits. That is more than TWICE what I survive on from my social security.
S8 housing is the only shelter most occupants of such have ever known. Our welfare state created this parasitic demographic and it will not be erradicated in 3 years. But, starting somewhere is better than not starting at all. Clinton tried but it whithered on the vine of politics.
In my corner of southwest MI, the schools have sent emails saying. After Sept 30, free school lunches may not be available. Oh, the crying and bashing of teeth about how unfair this is. After all, prisoners get fed, but “not our kids”! I haven’t looked at complainers profiles, but would not be surprised about tattoos being present.
I saw a video where she was complaining about the letter informing her of the community service hours required for food stamps (snap?)…and she mentions that she gets $2,000 (thousand!!!) per month (for herself and 3kids)….that sounds insane to me. Am I completely out of it that $2k per month in groceries, even if they’re 3 teenage boys, sounds ridiculous?!
I’ve even seen people who *don’t* receive assistance complain that the government is infringing on the welfare people’s rights by telling them they can’t use their cards to buy certain foods 🙄 I’m sorry, I’m all for not infringing on people’s rights but first of all, that program is meant to give people food to keep them from starving, not so they can have “treats”. Second of all, he who pays the piper calls the tune, so if you don’t want to be told what foods you can buy, don’t ask someone else to pay for it. Thirdly, most often there are either cash benefits or money from work that could be used to pay for what’s not covered under SNAP. Finally, it isn’t in our interest to encourage people to buy and eat junk food that gives them health problems that we taxpayers all end up having to pay for too.
Welfare and food stamps were originally meant for a temporary help not a lifestyle. All of this was planned. Read Who Killed the American Family by Phyllis Schlafly
I believe prior to the civil rights movement the black communities/families/businesses were intact. Afterwards everyone became an activist and departed their communities and homes to march and protest against their injustices. Unfortunately even with all their progress they’ve continued with their victim mentality. Now their kids run rampant thru the streets committing all nature of violence and crimes. Why? They continue to believe in their perceived injustices and are demanding thru violence it will not be tolerated. But this violence begets violence and black communities are facing unabated death destruction and poverty.
Agreed - but maybe he is on the same plane as Robert Yates - aka Brutus. He, too, was prescient in predicting all the corruption we know today because they both understood that human nature is self-serving and who runs the government?
Yeah, I know what you mean, but I think it's part of our survival instinct to be self-serving. If your employer said, sorry, can't pay you this week or next week, would you not look for another job?
I think the difference is that normal people want to live fairly simply - enjoy learning new tasks to help us grow, have enough to take care of ourselves and family, go on vacation every so often, but don't care to have power over others and spend "other people's money." Sadly, it seems like too many of those attracted to government power have sociopathic-type personalities that want to take advantage of the circumstances they fall in.
Thank you CStone. I worked for the govt. Lasted 3 years and could not take what I was seeing so gave 2 weeks and ran like hell away from it. Nasty environment and definitely not healthy for the Spirit, mind or body.
There are striking similarities between President Trump's Special Military Operation (SMO), sending troops into Washington DC, and President Putin's SMO, sending troops into Ukraine; both with the intent of eliminating the criminal elements in their respective neighborhoods. They say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.
Are you referring to the Clintons, invaded Bosnia/Libya, GW invaded Iraq/Afghanistan & BO/Biden invaded Syria/Libya/Ukraine (millions killed, trillions wasted) or are you talking about Putin? The US invaded third world countries 5,000+ miles from our borders, Russia invaded a third world country it shares a border with.
I didn't say the SMO's were exactly the same .... .
You refer to Putin? He is not a dictator. And Ukraine is not a sovereign nation. WHO exactly caused that conflict? WHO exactly is responsible for deaths of innocent civilians? The US deep state under the Obama regime overthrew the legitimate government in Ukraine in 2014, to further their child and human trafficking, their money laundering, and their bioweapons labs that threatened Russia AND the world. They installed the real dictator Zelensky as their puppet. Zelensky is responsible for the consequences Ukraine suffered.
Putin had every right to defend HIS sovereign nation against the encroachment of those who ignored for years his attempts to resolve this. In that regard I do see a similarity between Trump and Putin.
If the US was in a similar situation on our borders we would all correctly demand our President respond in similar fashion to Putin's response. I think Gell Mann Amnesia is what keeps many westerners from seeing what seems so obvious.
Except for the word ‘dictator’, you have effectively described America, Teamshark
Russia invaded Ukraine because little Z was killing his own people, that is, the Russian speaking Ukrainians. America invaded Iraq for the same reason, and that is that Hussein was killing his own people, the Kurds. (I know I’m leaving out the WMD BS) Putin refers to the slaughter of the eastern Ukrainians as the “base cause” of the war and we don’t know what he means
… and we dismiss what he says because we’ve been told that he is a ‘dictator’
I remember in civics class CC, being taught that the most effective and desirable type of government is a benevolent dictatorship. The closest to that in the world today may be Bukele in El Salvador. Trump is restrained by our constitution, else he may very well be regarded in America, the same as Bukele is in El Salvador.
… but many of us look forward to the day that Jesus becomes our benevolent dictator.
Waiting: Trying to understand the politics of waiting. Given the situation, why didn't Putin move to stop the murder of innocent Russian speaking Ukrainians by the U.S. backed Ukranian Nazis that had taken over in 2014? Was it because of the U.S. backing? Was it strategic? Perhaps that was only a secondary concern to the threat of expanding NATO operations?
I think it's a mix of Putin not wanting to give the US any type of reason to get more involved militarily and I also think it is only within the last couple of years he has finally been convinced he can never trust western governments. After multiple broken treaties & promises it finally came to him.
It's a shame western governments are allowed to be duplicitous in nature. It has dawned on me that democracies act like a mirror, they reflect the character of the people.
Democracies do act like a mirror albeit one that doesn’t flip the image. Even if the U.S. were a democracy in any real sense, I don’t think the reflection would show much of anything other than ignorance. Our institutions were taken over in the early 1900s and we have been obedient slaves ever since.
I was making a general statement and I assume she didn't appreciate the point I made so she tried to split a hair, but I think my point is accurate. I guess she doesn't like the reflection seen in the mirror.
I wasn’t paying much attention in 2014 to what was going on in Ukraine but lately I’ve been learning a little bit more about it. I have heard that little z was elected on promises of good things to happen in Ukraine. I’m not sure when the wholesale slaughter of the eastern Ukrainians began by the Ukrainian military,(From what I’ve read since posting this, it was around Feb. 17, 2022) but I would expect that it didn’t get rolling really good until after Trump was out and Biden got in. Which may explain why he waited until 2022 to finally make his move. The slaughter of eastern Ukrainians is what Putin keeps referring to when he says there’ll be no peace until the “base cause” is dealt with
… little z will have to stop killing his own people (not likely anytime soon)
The killing started in 2014 after the eastern Ukrainians (and Crimeans) rejected the US-backed coup, and the installation of Nazis into the post-coup Kiev regime. They rebelled, so the new regime started killing them. A large proportion of the Ukrainian military actually went to the rebel side, so among the troops sent to the Donbass to kill were NATO soldiers. I remember seeing a video at the time where one of them was speaking English in an American accent.
After the Minsk Accords, the killings slowed down, although they continued at a lower pace.
I saw a newspaper article before the SMO about a British woman who traveled to Ukraine on safari, because foreigners were allowed to come to Ukraine and snipe at the people of the Donbass, without penalty. She was bragging that she had killed 200 "Russians", although we know that at the same time they were killing "Russians" they were insisting that they were Ukrainian, on Ukrainian land, and could never leave. But they could be killed, including children.
Thank you for the info Mrs. RW, although now I wonder too why Putin waited so long to invade and protect those people. I know a young woman that was born and raised in the central Ukraine. She lives in America now, her parents are still in Ukraine. She speaks Russian, in spite of her parents objection to that. Although her mother visits her here in America, a couple of times each year, her dad has never come to visit her and she’s been here for a couple of decades, I think. So I can understand the enmity between the two groups of people, although I can’t understand the idea that one side thinks it’s OK to kill the other.
Perhaps, as they were Russian's in a foreign jurisdiction, the legal mechanic's
required that's the Russian's under attack and being murdered in Ukraine had to first travel to Moscow and petition President Putin before he could lawfully respond with force.?
So in the Trump administration the disloyal are shown to the door. While in the Putin “administration” the disloyal are shown the window and then pushed out of it?
I couldn't prove either. I used to think he did but the same sources that told me he did/does also told me jabs were safe, Trump colluded with Putin, BO is smart, Biden was fit, Iraq had WMDs and many more lies, so I don't know what to believe about Putin; since he's Russia's leader I don't need to spend any time worrying about it.
I do know about the US leaders, they are corrupt to the core and that's worth worrying about.
I have thought that too, how can I just believe without clear evidence and proof, claims from the same sources who lied about so many other things previously?? So yes, color me skeptical also.
Who/what to believe? I agree, our "sources" haven't served us (the American People) well in a long time!
But as for blood on Putin's hands, there is the history of the entire Soviet Union's top leadership (and maybe the middle level leaders?). A rather bloodthirsty bunch...no matter whose history you read. Well, except for the NYT!
There is the history of the top leadership, and maybe the middle level leaders, of the governments of all of the major countries, and maybe the middle level countries as well, and the leaders of all of the major religions of the world that goes back thousands of years, and it tells of leaders that have used assassination to further their ambitions. So yeah, a rather bloodthirsty bunch for sure, and Putin should not stand out, Greg,
Being a West Coaster-- I actually like the later delivery time. :D
But no matter what time it hits my IN box- I'm always so thrilled to read and very appreciative of all the hard work and research you do for us. Thank you, Sir!
We all come here for differing reasons. Most of us are here to read Jeff's brilliant commentaries. Knowledge and intelligence of commentators is irrelevant to me.

TAW. Now, will Letitia James be charged with REAL crimes? Will corrupt judge Engoron be reprimanded and forced to step down? James tried to bankrupt Trump, in an effort that included other malicious prosecutions. They thought their conspiracy would succeed. FAFO.
Letitia James fulfilled her purpose. Trump emerged from the ashes and she is disgraced.....WIN....WIN.
How about Obama and his phony CT SSN? Way bigger than Letitia James.
I expect that to be revealed after he is arrested for heading up the treasonous coup.
Fingers crossed. They may ignore it to avoid having to deal with eight years of illegal deals, law, appointments, etc.
Though like Al Capone and the tax evasion charges, it could be the most effective way to get O’bummer
That’s exactly what I thought.
I hope this happens. Do you recall how “the first arrest will shock everyone” presented anxious thoughts about who it could be? Well, they still have not arrested anyone yet, not even Bolton, but this could well be a step on the path to the ‘shocking first arrest’.
Are you saying Obama should be targeted first? I can think of some reasons why that might not be the best plan of action.
We won’t forget!
No.
I think this ridiculously long judgement sought to specifically clear Engoron from any wrong doing and sort of protect him. Pack of hyenas they are.
Good observation and conjecture, yes.
🤣 educated guess a step above conjecture. Lolol
Yes, sometimes my word choice is lacking.
Wouldn't that be wonderful! Hmmm, although, sadly, doubtful. 😔🙄
Gotcha Bolton - No one's above the law now. Serves him right.

Nope - no right to take them to his home(s)
Or his garage!!
Looks like another Democrat gets away with clear crimes.
The auto-pen was out of town being refilled.
And Kash Patel said that there was no predicate for that raid on Mar A Lago, that it was illegal.
Although his actions seem often to slip beneath the radar, Christopher Wray's record needs to be looked at closely.
I think the Mar-A-Lago raid was used to look for the "missing " Crossfire-Huricane Binder. DS knows Trump has it. TAW.
Definitely
I'd be shocked if they find classified docs. With all the writing on the wall over the last 7 months, he'd have to be a complete moron to still have them.

And this will alert anyone else who MIGHT still have classified docs to get rid of them.....cue the shredder sound.
Yes but the arrogance of people like Bolton believe they will always be above the law.
Well a raid is at a minimum a big inconvenience - of course if he didn't break the law, he shouldn't be "got" in the first place.
If this prompts people with sensitive classified information being kept in non-secure places to destroy it, then great.
In his "crowd," the raid will be brandished as a badge of honor. He'll be hailed as a martyr and his drinks will be paid for, for months. But, he'll still live under a shadow......if he has a shred of dignity, but every rock will need to be overturned.

This is obviously how they should think. But look at all the burn bags that never reached the incinerators… loaded with gold.
Maybe the "trash guy" was a good guy and purposely preserved the burn bags. Note to self: shred stuff yourself if wanting evidence gone forever.
Or use bleach bit and hammer!
So true, but what a happy bit of negligence this turned out to be.
Digital information tends to be for life. He may have thought emptying his Windows trash can erased the evidence but they have very sophisticated ways of recovering and restoring the data.
Remember, "The process is the punishment". They might find evidence in his home, and they very well have enough evidence from other sources to charge him.
Not enough punishment for most though who want to know that real justice has better teeth.
I assume the, oh so efficient and persistent, national archives librarian keeps a complete and thorough log of all classified documents so would know if any are missing? I would also assume that anyone who accessed them had to sign into a log?
How fortunate that would be if it were so.
Well, in all fairness, the seized documents have to be posed on the floor first.
Right?!?😂😂
Well, there’s classified, and then there’s private. I’m not entitled to see your private papers, even though they are of no National Security significance.
of course - I meant only the declassified information not the private docs.
Good point, Blair!
Thanks Sharon
You bet, Blair!
Right and since they were declassified we should all be able to see them now.
I never liked Bolton. He was a warmonger of the worst kind. Always ready and pitching to send in troops and bomb some country.
About the documents-I know that’s so frustrating, when people keep running with lies that are just ‘no brainers’, but play well with idiots, who couldn’t think their way out of a paper bag.
Guess people thought that Melania would forget about the FBI rooting through her underwear drawer.
Karma for warmonger Bolton.
Stay outta our drawers! [New bumper sticker will be available next week.]
Jeff S: do you have a side hussle in stand-up comedy? I enjoy your one-liners.😁
I've thought about it, but, nah. Things just seem to pop outta my mouth or appear on the screen, not much reason or rhyme. I'm my father's son: a New York wisenheimer, as he used to call me. A clown without costume. Glad you aren’t too offended by my various quips and observations.
my first crib was in Washington Heights .............
Nice area, right? It's home to the 191st Street station tunnel.
washington Heights WAS a nice area....... 70 years ago .
gradually other "elements" moved upwards towards and then past the George Wash. bus station . Last i knew ( like 40 years ago ..lol) ...... the area was not one that people aspired to live in .
Is the FBI still at the house ......sniffing around ?
Not this FBI.
lol.
Kathleen - Great comment. And Jeff had the same conclusion as Clandestine in his remarks this morning - that Bolton being a Republican and a former Trump admin official, prevents the MSM and Dems accusations of "political revenge". This is the perfect FIRST arrest.
Clandestine blocked a bunch of us on X.
No reason. I only liked or reposted his stuff.
I still receive his Substack.
I wasn't aware of that, thanks. I'm not on Twix any longer, but I do follow him on Truth Social and I also get his Substack. I do the same, like and repost, but now I can comment on his Substack.
But they did not yet arrest him or anyone. Remember: “the first arrest will shock everyone”! On the way to obummer, I hope.
Same exact thought Kathleen.
That was clearly the sick minds of Dems.
I wonder if they will find some of Adam Schiff's undies in Bolton's underwear drawer?
Maybe General Milley's too? Jake Sullivan's? Eric Holder's? Bibi Netanyahu's?
a circle of jerk offs ..........
Maybe they could sift through his draw's draw and find something embarrassing.
Fair
Keep it pithy.
Yet another win for residents of Florida.
However, it doesn't stop them from raised the millage rate if they want. For example, our school board increased its millage by 50% for this upcoming year. I’m not sure why the schools need 50% more money!
Thank you for that clarification , Padrig!
Our waterfront homes in ponce inlet generally sell for 20-30 mil. So yeah, that was some real trickery there, using the tax assessors valuation.
Need the Cliff Notes.
A lot of commenters here could use the same improvement. Watch out for verbosity!
It depends on what you are verbosing about.
Hahaha.
Soon we will all have AI agents acting on our behalf that will clean up our text.
What could go wrong?
A self-described professor posted an ad for a ‘nanny’ on Nextdoor. (Yes, I know..) Anyway, she got a couple of responses but the best was clearly written by AI. It started with some inane quote, unattributed, about the sovereignty of children, and comtinued in high-falutin’ verbiage (attempt to impress the professor?) downhill from
there. The AI program failed to punctuate accurately and the applicant for the job did not bother to correct it. 😂
They offered to send me a free AI agent , but i declined .
I want to see what she looks like first !
I could have edited that crap down to one or two paragraphs, like Jeff C.
Hopefully this will still get to the SCJs.
That sounds like a darn good summary to me William.
It also sounds like it might not be such a bad idea to replace judges with AI?
Even though I still have serious concerns about that...
Since both make things up, sure.
Thank you for this much needed counsel, Padrig.
Well said!!
Praise be to God for this glorious day in the best country, America. We are blessed to live here.
💯💯🇺🇸🇺🇸
John Bolton is a disgusting neocon warpig. His life should be an unending sequence of misery.
OR, he could elect to go live in Gaza for the rest of his days. I'd accept that.
He could move to Iraq, I’m sure they love him there. Take Hillary with you, John!
Nah, I’m praying that Trump nominates Hillary as next ambassador to Haiti. She’d last for about three minutes after arrival. Also Bill would second the nomination.
Funny!
(Words to that effect)
I remember him saying that!
That makes more sense. Hire the traitor and hope for the best!!
Possibly to make some RINO neocons think he wanted war so he could keep them happy to keep the republican voting block somewhat intact. You know, keep your enemies closer…
I just saw him on tv recently and he doesn't look good. He's thin and pasty looking. He looks to be 86, not 76.
(especially when reaching those fools gold years )
Close the border, shut down the adrenochrome conduit. Famous / prominent types start withering before our eyes.
Before I vote for Gaza, I'd want to know who will be governing there.
God’s glorious morning to each of you C&Cers!
It's a great day for some Grand Jury indictments.
"...a swamp judge orders the swamp project closed to protect swampy reptiles." 'But I wasn't going to hurt them, I was just going to feed them.'
I won't even try to predict what happens now.
They will ignore this idiot, as they should.
😂😋
It feels like FINALLY, the bubbling lava of corruption is starting to flow outward on the wicked. So, how about we talk about welfare corruption?
America spends over one trillion dollars a year on welfare – aka -dependency on the government: https://lizlasorte.substack.com/p/give-peace-a-chance-end-the-war-on-9f8?r=76q58
At a minimum, get rid of snap cards and make people pick up their nutritious food (only) at a warehouse: https://lizlasorte.substack.com/p/well-snap-yall?r=76q58
You will LOVE this video then. This dude tells it like it is
https://www.youtube.com/shorts/Gq2gcYyC8e4
Awesome video
Too bad that guy held back🤣
LOL. Yeah, it is.
Yep, saw that a few days ago - needs to be shared far and wide!
And fake nails, fake eyelashes, and way too big of a butt...
Forgot the fake fur eyelashes!
I thought big butts were "in" . I see them EVERYWHERE !
Build Back Bigger..... and Bigger ..... and Bigger ................
I commented on that post. I have tattoos. She has spent at least a grand on what is visible. Perhaps she is bartering? HaHaHa.
Yes, all those tats, and she admitted to getting TWO THOUSAND $ a MONTH in food benefits. That is more than TWICE what I survive on from my social security.
And on hair and nails.
Exactly. Tats don’t require the constant maintenance the hair/nails do. I suspect the children go humgry while she gets her ‘do done. 😖
I'd like 2k a month! Lobster, anyone?
Yes I’m aware of that and agree.
And corrupt city governments, in league with drug cartels, keep bringing in the drugs that create misery & street wars.
It’s just another generation that become their ruling class, perpetuating the death destruction and poverty.
And, it will get really real if we just cut it out 100%!!
They are usually obese too, so definitely not going hungry.
Alexis de Tocqueville has proven to be a mind nearly without peer. So much of his thoughts have proven to be crazily accurate.
Agreed - but maybe he is on the same plane as Robert Yates - aka Brutus. He, too, was prescient in predicting all the corruption we know today because they both understood that human nature is self-serving and who runs the government?
I'm a human but that shit ain't in my nature!
Because you are not a child of the darkness, but a child of the Light.
Thank you CStone. I worked for the govt. Lasted 3 years and could not take what I was seeing so gave 2 weeks and ran like hell away from it. Nasty environment and definitely not healthy for the Spirit, mind or body.
Take the welfare money and start helping those jab injured...
Good idea - take it to DOGE!
Agree
You are worth waiting for. Thanks!
Agree! C&C is the best thing I read each day :D
It’s the only thing (other than my Bible) that I refuse to miss on a daily basis.
Similar, but not!
One is a country led by a dictator that invaded another sovereign nation.
One has caused the death of hundreds of thousands soldiers and innocent civilians.
One has destroyed billions of dollars in property and infrastructure.
One has restored law and order and respect for the law.
One has created an environment of safety and security for its citizens.
Other than that, they are similar.
I didn't say the SMO's were exactly the same .... .
Now that we can agree on!
Except for the level of corruption, Ukraine isn’t a third world country. That said, its corruption is beyond third world.
What is Ukraine's GDP?
Ukrain also broke the 2014 Treaty with Russia. That was the first act of war, wasn’t it? Z is the unelected dictator.
Well said JD
I thought about that too but since congress is too gutless to decide when military force can be used, it is much like a dictatorship.
Interesting observation.
The USA is not a democracy. It is a Constitutional Republic.
Do you not vote?
Actually, she’s correct, CC
… and I think in both cases people can vote
I was making a general statement and I assume she didn't appreciate the point I made so she tried to split a hair, but I think my point is accurate. I guess she doesn't like the reflection seen in the mirror.
Very good point.
Look up and watch Tucker’s interviews with Jeffrey Sachs. Very informative.
Tucker is in a bit of trouble for agreeing that we fought on the wrong side in WWII... which is absolutely correct.
Hitler was a great leader and would have made a fine ally.
https://www.unz.com/runz/why-everything-you-know-about-world-war-ii-is-wrong/
Thanks for the reminder Sawbilly, I have seen that interview and others that Sachs has done.
… he’s very knowledgeable but slightly askew, I think, in his allegiances
This NATO consultant gets into the weeds of how they rebuilt the military after 2014. He was involved in the project.
https://scheerpost.com/2022/04/09/former-nato-military-analyst-blows-the-whistle-on-wests-ukraine-invasion-narrative/
Mrs. RS
DoubleThink.
Mrs. RW
…Go figure the souls of men.
Perhaps, as they were Russian's in a foreign jurisdiction, the legal mechanic's
required that's the Russian's under attack and being murdered in Ukraine had to first travel to Moscow and petition President Putin before he could lawfully respond with force.?
Agree!!!!
So in the Trump administration the disloyal are shown to the door. While in the Putin “administration” the disloyal are shown the window and then pushed out of it?
Let me guess, you learned that from DSN, Deep State News, correct?
Are you saying Putin has NOT had his political opponents killed? News to me.
I do know about the US leaders, they are corrupt to the core and that's worth worrying about.
good/sad point
I have thought that too, how can I just believe without clear evidence and proof, claims from the same sources who lied about so many other things previously?? So yes, color me skeptical also.
Who/what to believe? I agree, our "sources" haven't served us (the American People) well in a long time!
But as for blood on Putin's hands, there is the history of the entire Soviet Union's top leadership (and maybe the middle level leaders?). A rather bloodthirsty bunch...no matter whose history you read. Well, except for the NYT!
Yeah, but let's not forget JFK, L H Oswald, MLK, RFK, Vince Foster, Seth Rich, BO's chef and probably a few more we don't know about.
There is the history of the top leadership, and maybe the middle level leaders, of the governments of all of the major countries, and maybe the middle level countries as well, and the leaders of all of the major religions of the world that goes back thousands of years, and it tells of leaders that have used assassination to further their ambitions. So yeah, a rather bloodthirsty bunch for sure, and Putin should not stand out, Greg,
… because he fits right in
Is that a real thing?
Ah, The Constitution....I've heard of that. The backbone of a Constitutional Republic and threat to situational "democracy." Missed you.
"Democracy"....another useless buzzword to stir up the zombies.
"situational democracy" ftw
Must be similar to “performative democracy.”
Speculative democracy.
Being a West Coaster-- I actually like the later delivery time. :D
But no matter what time it hits my IN box- I'm always so thrilled to read and very appreciative of all the hard work and research you do for us. Thank you, Sir!
Now...caffeine is ready, time to dig in!
Ditto.
Yep the coffee awaits each morning to be enjoyed with Jeff!!
I find comments to be highly reliable and effective indicators of the knowledge level and the intelligence level of the commentator
… they are also an excellent indicator of the commentator’s character
Character yes, intelligence may only indicate how many cups of coffee commenter has imbibed before commenting 😉
Does this apply to herbal tea drinkers?
💯 anything hot qualifies as brain juice ;)))
OK, nik, In spite of lacking any peer reviewed studies on the effect of caffeine on a person‘s intelligence
…I’ll agree with you
😂 lol I love it ! Purely anecdotal of course …but since I don’t trust the science anyway….lol
Absolutely.
And this applies to those of any political persuasion.
We all come here for differing reasons. Most of us are here to read Jeff's brilliant commentaries. Knowledge and intelligence of commentators is irrelevant to me.
I wonder if that’s truly the case shayne. Your replies and your hitting that like button seem to belie that statement
…and betray an interest in what is being said (all of which are good things)
Of course I'm interested in what others say, if I don't agree with a comment I move along. 😂
Ya, me too
