They shamed me once and called me a threat. Now they have a contactless check out so they don’t have to engage with the dirty infectious public at all. I threatened legal action when they basically threw me out. I still would. BTW. I worked there until the fall of 2019 for 14 years. Nice huh? I go in now. I can never really forgive them. I have tried but my library experience—once a joy—has been destroyed.

I went into a bookstore during the worst of the rag face mandates and was told to wear a mask or leave. I said "I was here to see how many books you have on virtue signaling. Apparently you have a lot." Like George Costanza, I left on a win! (Maybe only the second time in my life, lol)

I’m sorry that happened. A 14 yr employee and that’s the way they treated you 🤦🏼‍♀️ That explains why they treated the “regular” public they way they did. They have no shame.
