A 224-page government report, a cross-eyed preacher, a tarot reader who burned the deck, and a movement that seems unstoppable. We may be one step from something we haven't seen in 300 years.

What a stunning post this morning.! This undercurrent of spiritual sanity is bubbling to the surface. Thank God for the RLC (Religious Liberty Commission). But for Jeff and his articulate analysis, would any of us be ware of this seismic shift? Thank you, Jeff!!
It was only when I scrolled down to the redeemed photo of Alex the Taro card reader and looked into her eyes, gazed at her countenance, that I burst into tears. Truly the face of a redeemed woman! Compare that photo to this initial one of her that began this post and you will hopefully see what I observed. To God be the glory! Only He can make such transformations in the hearts of so many.
The human soul longs to be filled. Alex and Kat and others asked in the depths of their hearts - what is my soul hungry and thirsty for?
John 6:35 provides the only answer:
“I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty”
This is the story from the OT to the NT - of divine pursuit to restore dignity & righteousness (from moral failure (David), denial (Peter) and rebellion (Prodigal Son).
Did you know the Samaritan woman at the well, left her pail of water after her encounter with Jesus, as she was so enthusiastic to share the existence of the Messiah with her community?
Similarly, Jesus said to the Apostles who returned to that well with food for him that:
“I have food to eat that you know nothing about… My food,” said Jesus, “is to do the will of him who sent me and to finish his work.“
Just watch. That area is beginning to heal as well. It will take longer because of the damage done by the Brits, pitting one group against another, but it is already starting.
Tucker Carlson converted? NO. My wife and I have speculated for some time now that his lunacy has stemmed from his resisting the call that God was graciously putting on his life. He was asking the right questions, but his fruit indicates he did not bend the knee to God and is now suffering the due consequence of his rebellion. There is something theologians call the noetic effect of sin. It describes how sin not only affects our bodies producing disease and death, but it also affects a person’s ability to think. It is an appropriate judgment upon those who make a pretense about their intellectual ability to discern truth, and then fail to follow The Way, The Truth and The Life to have their reasoning faculties stripped from them. Having given up on God, he has given up on reason. That is what I think we are witnessing.
Who knows? I guess it's possible, but one who has a true relationship with Jesus typically does not exhibit the behavior to which you are accurately referring.
One thing that you can count on is that Christianity is about freedom to choose and is always being threatened by socialists, and communists. Tucker, and his desire for power and money, is his own worst enemy. He will do and say anything to get it.
Tucker lies nonstop like a rug. And his antisemitism, which is hatred for God’s people, is through the roof. Both of these things are inherently incompatible with practicing Christianity.
Tucker consistently talks about God and Christian values. Trump on the other hand does not. Yet, you seem to see this completely inverted. Interesting.
For me anyway, it is so off putting to have a hypocrite like Trump talk about Christianity. He listens to and favors the anti- Christers and even the ones in his family. Actions speak louder than words as he revels in killing via our military. And Epstein? I guess he missed what Jesus said about harming children.
It's going to be interesting to see which direction this "revival" takes that Jeff is talking about. Is this going to become a movement against our involvement in foreign wars, especially in the Middle East? Or will it ignite a middle ages type Crusade?
Coincidentally, last night I watched "The Kingdom of Heaven", a very well done 2005 production of one of the Crusades.
Agreed! Tucker is likely not born again based on his public comments. There is a spiritual movement going on right now, which is leading people to acknowledge God, even the God of the Bible, (Praise the Lord!) but I suspect it is yielding relatively few true conversions. George Whitefield echoed the message of Jesus to Nicodemus, "Ye must be born again". This "revival" will not be ripe until folks are truly acknowledging and serving the Lord Jesus Christ.
For all those who believe what we are seeing is true revival, I would urge caution:
Matt 7: 21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
Pardon my ignorance but I haven't followed what Tucker is saying for some time. I've read the comments here about Tucker but no one has explained exactly what he is saying that everyone is objecting to, only that he has gone off the rails....?
Reminds me of the Emo Phillips joke, right here for our consideration.
"Once I saw this guy on a bridge about to jump. I said, "Don't do it!" He said, "Nobody loves me." I said, "God loves you. Do you believe in God?"
He said, "Yes." I said, "Are you a Christian or a Jew?" He said, "A Christian." I said, "Me, too! Protestant or Catholic?" He said, "Protestant." I said, "Me, too! What franchise?" He said, "Baptist." I said, "Me, too! Northern Baptist or Southern Baptist?" He said, "Northern Baptist." I said, "Me, too! Northern Conservative Baptist or Northern Liberal Baptist?"
He said, "Northern Conservative Baptist." I said, "Me, too! Northern Conservative Baptist Great Lakes Region, or Northern Conservative Baptist Eastern Region?" He said, "Northern Conservative Baptist Great Lakes Region." I said, "Me, too!"
Northern Conservative Baptist Great Lakes Region Council of 1879, or Northern Conservative Baptist Great Lakes Region Council of 1912?" He said, "Northern Conservative Baptist Great Lakes Region Council of 1912." I said, "Die, heretic!" And I pushed him over."
I listen to him and many others. He doesn't seem off the rails to me but if you change your mind about the narrative, including disagreeing with Trump, you will see how quickly humans become tribal. I enjoy some of the guests he has on. I certainly don't agree with everything he says or how he says it but I'm not listening for that purpose. I learned during covid that when the same accusations and hatred is repeated, some line had been crossed that is not acceptable. Maybe there's something wrong with Tucker, none of us personally knows him, but I make my own judgements on what I hear from the person and not snippets from various sources. I'm done with group think and I'm willing to listen to many points of view. Nothing gets solved unless we do. As soon as I hit the send button, I'm sure the pile on will begin...
Noetic effect of sin. Good point. Lust for power is one thing, but Pride is cardinal, and nothing appeals to Pride like "being right". Especially with secret knowledge and being above others. A cautionary tale to us too in the not-swallowing-everything-someone-says space (call it the dissident right if you like ;)). But an interesting lens to view Tucker. He seems to have talent and timing but always seems to go off the edge. E.g. in the 2000's and again in recent years.
"They say Christianity thrives best under persecution. If that’s true, the Biden Administration supplied plenty of that, even if it was relatively low-key in historic terms. (In other words, nobody here was burned at the stake or otherwise jacked up."
- just institutional medical murder of countless millions
And churches and church leaders were particularly targeted as community leaders to influence their adherents into taking the shot. In our church, leaders were arm twisted into promoting the shots.
If you happen to see Event 201 (the warmup table-top exercise for Covid), in section 4, it specifically points out leveraging community and religious leaders for any responses to a pandemic.
In our church, leaders were arm-twisting the congregants into wearing masks, isolating, NOT singing, getting jabbed, and pretending that church could be replaced with a video camera.
Oh, and not visiting hospitalized relatives or having funerals for them when the hospital killed them.
Yup, the Christian church completely failed during the COVID test. I don't understand the revival and people coming church because all institutions failed during the pandemic, including churches.
The State-Church issue is as old as the village Warrior-Chief and Medicine-man/priest.
Which came first the State or the Church? Fools think that Secular Anti-Theism and some Legalistic Walls (Prison Cell) constructed around Politically-Incorrect ideology, morality, decency, civility, and worldview that may organize as opposition to EVIL perversion corruption and depravity, or "Church" somehow sanitized the issue. That's been proven wrong for generations and yet again most recently under Biden's shepherding of the herd and their Non-profit status churches of all types and stripes.
First Century Herodian-Sanhedrin duality worked in like manner, Romans were quite tolerant of all religious beliefs except when they threatened civil order or undermined the Imperial State. Greek Civic-Temple Leadership the same. Roman Catholicism the same and Church of England the same. Only the diverse American refugee-resettlement Protestants from Western Europe, once a few generations removed and obligated to work together and with "Enlightened" more-secular minded (Deists and Freemasons included) leaders could come to articulate and define some legal (not cultural-social) boundaries to constrain the STATE from oppressing, hijacking, and steering the Church to its liking. Enacting a legal check and balance upon the institutions that could conspire to put Free men into bondage. Compelled religion is servitude. State-oversight of men's Free will and relation with their Creator is corrupted and false religion. Church leaders at any level who advocate for State-interests (and/or Self-interests) over the interests of the souls and lives of those they lead are wolves amongst sheep.
"Christian Nationalism" is the accusatory, smear term used by Anti-Christian/Anti-Nationalists to fear-monger against their ideological-social adversaries. "White Christian Nationalism" is an accelerant intended to further fracture and disparage opposition in pursuit of power and control.
I think the point Jeff made was that the Constitution was supposed to be a pre-emptive protection of God-given religious liberty, not allow for a government sponsorship of anti-religious efforts and then get sued back into compliance. This document appeared to be an effort to bring back the original meaning/interpretation of the constitution and move away from the subsequent contrived separation of church and state that originated from Jefferson's private letter and being used as a basis of subsequent law and court rulings.
Churches and leaders completely failed during COVID, just like every other institution. And they still don't see it. People coming to the church now (mostly) don't know that.
When I talk with my nephews or other young people, they are under the impression that the 5 guaranteed rights in the 1st amendment are rights "from" and NOT rights "of"!
They claim that they have freedom from religion and that it is NOT freedom OF religion! They also claim that it is freedom FROM speech and not freedom OF speech. They claim a "right" to not be told about Jesus, as in freedom FROM speech.
This kind of verbal manipulation is a result of our failed education system.
In David Gibbs book Understanding the Constitution- ten things every Christian should know, he states that a 2006 survey found that 22% of Americans could name all 5 members of the Simpsons TV family, but only 1 in 1000 (one tenth of one percent) could name all 5 of the freedoms guaranteed in the 1st amendment! (Can you name them?)
This is yet another condemnation of our failed education system.
Pray for our nation.
John 12:32 KJV: And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me.
As Christians we have an obligation to lift up the precious name of Jesus and take the gospel to every corner of this nation, and then throughout all of mankind.
An Awakening happens when evil becomes so oppressive and ubiquitous, that God is the only solution. It happened in the years before the American Revolution as England tried to enslave Americans. It’s happening now as the Globalists/Communists/Islamists are trying to destroy America and enslave its citizens. God is with America!
The Great Awakening movie, out recently about George Whitefield, and emphasis on his relationship with Benjamin Franklin was excellent. Highly recommend!
Kind of reminds me of a cynical comment I heard: Once every alternative has been exhausted and things start to hurt, then people will consider doing the right thing.
Yes, Jeff great reporting!!! Like I have posted before the Gen Z kids are coming to Christ in large numbers. That worship night my daughter helped start last Sept is still going strong several months later. This revival needs to continue as the Islamification of many blue cities is also growing.
How does encouraging the freedom of religion and involvement of those religious in government discourage the Islamization we see happening? Back in 2017, I took my girls to a state competition for private schools hosted by Texas Christian University and was shocked to see several women in full burkas!
No, Sharia law does not require or automatically force everyone to convert to Islam. Historically and under traditional Islamic jurisprudence, non-Muslims are legally permitted to live within an Islamic state without converting, though they are subject to specific legal, financial, and societal conditions.
Isn’t it about time we stop calling the Times “the Nation’s paper of record?” That particular self-aggrandizing sobriquet is as tedious as it is risible. That pack of Democrat sycophants is as reliably dishonest and misleading as it is outright wrong!
The Times’ ongoing attempts to manipulate the public at the behest of its handlers is deserving of rebuke greater than tongue in cheek chiding.
Have been a Christian (by the grace of God) for 30 years. One of my (many) beefs with “The Church” is lack of enthusiasm. Inadequate wonder and awe at the mysteries of faith. You cannot be too enthusiastic in your love and adoration of God tge Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit!!
Agree! And it’s somewhat shocking to me how quickly the “church” buildings are growing when the very test of the church came during the covid scam and the churches and pastors and priests folded in the very fear The Bible says not to do. They didn’t practice what they preached. The hypocrisy was thick. It was shameful.
But God is bigger than the buildings. People were faced with evil and good and many made the correct choice. Courage became contagious in many instances. Churches who cowered in fear still struggle with attendance. Others who became strong and courageous are flourishing. May those churches welcome the masses and enthusiastically proclaim the real gospel. May we all spit on the watered down, hypocritical, lying and deceptive gospel of demons. Leave those churches behind and find a Bible believing and preaching church that will not cower next time -because next time will come.
That is what drove me from my traditional church to a charismatic church for a year when my church closed for 3 months and then reopened to masks, and seating charts, and sterilizing everything. The nondenominational church reopened after a couple of weeks and everyone was so joyful. While masks were not discouraged, virtually no one wore them. It took years after for me to realize that traditional churches and their members were caught off guard and panicked by the media reports. I hope and believe that very important lessons were learned during this time, and even the traditional churches will not abandon us again.
We did the same! The traditional bowed to the state but the no denominational found a way to still worship God. We have since moved to a red state and our new church, also non-denominational, definitely preaches the Gospel!
That’s why I said “not cower next time”. I think SOME learned from their mistakes and woke up from their slumber and the veil of deception that covered so many eyes. Sadly, not everyone did. There are still
"In 1744, a cross-eyed itinerant English evangelist named George Whitefield began drawing huge crowds of newly converted Christians as he traveled back and forth through the early American colonies 30 years before the Revolution."
Whitefield was uniquely gifted with the ability to preach both to the choir and to the congregation . . .
There was a fantastic movie about George Whitefield and Benjamin Franklin put out within the last few months called "A Great Awakening". https://a great awakening.com
Seconding how fantastic A Great Awakening is. My only complaint about it is I wish it'd been a mini-series to go further in depth, but otherwise, it's incredible and everyone should see it if they have the chance.
According to James TalLiar-ico, the Colonial Christian Nationalism was properly discarded for Enlightenment secularism and true Christian principles under the US Constitution that properly placed a Wall of Separation to protect the State and citizens from the evils of a harsh and controlling Church. Of course whatever he and Tim Walz 's church does to oppose the State is fine.
The tarot card reader found The Pearl of Great Price and sold all to have it. May she be protected, provided for, mentored in her faith and walk in favor with God.
I live there too. The first Independence Day here, as I came home from my son's house in Nipomo, I can only describe the Santa Maria skyline as looking like a war zone!
I am so encouraged by this post today. I have noticed a huge upswing in attendance at my church. I alternate between 2 churches and have seen the huge crowds at both. I go to a large Christian church on some Sundays and then attend a Catholic Church so I can receive communion. Both churches are packed! I see people turning their eyes toward God.
You actually CANNOT "receive Communion" at a Catholic Church if you are "not Catholic." If you are Catholic, you are still BOUND to attend Catholic Mass EVERY Sunday, and can only take Communion if you are in the state of grace. I understand some see these as minor points, but it remains Church teaching.
One needs to differentiate between ‘Church teachings’ that are the product of man, and Church teachings that are the product of God. In the past, Church teachings allowed priests to marry, forbade meat on Friday, etc. Changes in those rules came from men.
It’s why I don’t believe in infant baptism. It’s an orthodox practice designed by man, but no biblical instruction or precedence. As a matter of fact only child dedication was highlighted. We cannot make the decision of salvation for another person, not even a baby. They are ALL protected until the moment their conscience understands the decisions and makes it. For some that could be as early as 6 years old. For others it could be 20 or older. Only God knows the moment you understood. For me I was 10 years old. So while baptizing could be a nice way to “dedicate” your child to Christ and a promise to God that you will raise them in the faith, biblically baptism comes AFTER one has made the decision for themselves to follow God. That’s why we only dedicated our children.
My MIL was old world Catholic and was beside herself because the church had her believing if I got into a car accident with our baby in the car God would literally send them to hell if they died unbaptized. 🤨
It’s important to distinguish what is a tradition of man, and what is commanded/required by God.
I can respect traditions the Catholic Church chooses to express their faith so long as they are aware it’s a man-made rule/tradition and they don’t ridicule those who don’t practice the exact same way.
Don’t get me wrong, communion IS biblical, and required of believers, and I myself partake in that practice, but which church you go to to fulfill your sacraments only matters based on their foundational, biblical doctrines. And more than the Catholic Church have that sound doctrine in place.
Agreed they came from men. And we accept MANY things that come from men--WHEN and IF "they have been given appropriate authority." If you will check your history, you will see that the Catholic Church, alone, has that. One does not "find" authority in a book and declare "it authorizes me" to do anything. That way leads to oceans of people claiming contradictory authority. Back BEFORE the Bible even existed, there was still The church, One church, and She Alone had been given authority by the Man-God Who established Her. From Her ultimately flowed the Bible some would foolishly claim condemns Her. You can choose not to believe it, but the fact is, NO OTHER church has an equally ancient and reasonable claim.
With all due respect, ultimately, all of this "self-found" authority flows out of disappointment that "God didn't choose me..." He certainly COULD have come in MY time, and COULD have chosen ME to be one of The Twelve, but He chose OTHERS, for His OWN reasons. Believers get over that quickly, understanding that "not everyone can be an apostle" and work instead to become "parts" of the Body of Christ, instead of insisting that everybody has to be the head.
How many distinct versions of "protesting" Christianity are there now, counting the modernists inhabiting the modern Catholic Church that refuses to teach the Truth?
As you enjoy the revival in the US, (Happy 250 by the way) pray for Canada where a great spiritual battle is raging. Many are indoctrinated and confused and losing hope. May the God of mercy and love turn His eye to the lost sheep in the North.
Amen and Amen, Doug. The battle is fierce here but the weapons of our warfare are not fleshly but powerful through God for the tearing down of strongholds. Praise God, Canada will be saved.
Thank YOU, Jeff, for being unashamedly genuinely enthusiastic about Jesus, and calling attention to what GOD might be doing in these turbulent but also truly amazing times! Your cautious optimism and clinging to truth helps dispel my fears and redirect my focus on where it should be…on our good Father:). Thank you!

natural deflation due to technology and productivity gains is around 1% annually, so they are actually inflating even more.

Didn’t work too well in the late 20’s and 1930’s. Plus it gave us FDR who would be a DSA member today.
They are eliminating what has been in place for a long time. Also, trying to downsize government numbers and overreach. Keep it going!

Wow - short and sweet.
Catchy phrase, but not applicable to what's being discussed in today's column. I wonder why you would change the subject and pretend it's relevant.

Tucker on Trump's 'Christianity':
https://x.com/ZaidJilani/status/2070676070257377571
For me anyway, it is so off putting to have a hypocrite like Trump talk about Christianity. He listens to and favors the anti- Christers and even the ones in his family. Actions speak louder than words as he revels in killing via our military. And Epstein? I guess he missed what Jesus said about harming children.
Thank you!
You see Yons latest piece?
Yeah.... https://michaelyon.substack.com/p/total-war-us-troops-heading-forward
Are you afraid to say Jews? Why the code talk? Ever heard of Messianic Jews? They believe Jesus is the Messiah and await His return.
What ‘anti-Christers’? Do you mean the Jews? Are you aware that Jesus died a Jew?
On assumes that Christians don’t buy homes in Qatar, where one cannot practice Christianity.
Darkening of the mind.
And Rogan makes me think of King Agrippa, who was fascinated by the apostle Paul’s testimony, but just couldn’t yield.
Mrs. RW
Oh my gosh...LOL
Jeremy Boreing has a very interesting Youtube video titled: The 18 Tactics Tucker and Candace Use to Manipulate You. It explains a lot: https://youtu.be/MYrvBO7gukE?si=FF5UCh84vE_NPKZU
I agree with you.
If you happen to see Event 201 (the warmup table-top exercise for Covid), in section 4, it specifically points out leveraging community and religious leaders for any responses to a pandemic.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LBuP40H4Tko
That's so utterly wicked.
Very important linguistic distinction.
They have been working to redefine this in the educational system and space of public discourse for some time.
Sounds anti semantic.
Thank you Jeff for a very uplifting post! God Bless us all! 🙏🏻♥️🇺🇸
Yes, Jeff great reporting!!! Like I have posted before the Gen Z kids are coming to Christ in large numbers. That worship night my daughter helped start last Sept is still going strong several months later. This revival needs to continue as the Islamification of many blue cities is also growing.
My traditional Lutheran church has seen a big uptick in baptisms. Young couples returning with babies and young children and I am so encouraged.
How does encouraging the freedom of religion and involvement of those religious in government discourage the Islamization we see happening? Back in 2017, I took my girls to a state competition for private schools hosted by Texas Christian University and was shocked to see several women in full burkas!
No freedom of religion anymore? Islam does not invade other countries.
Yes they do, did for centuries and are doing it today in Minneapolis and Dearborn and Texas.
Which countries?
They are being targetted in cities to create imagined enemies for the masses with crisis actors in masks.
Sharia law out laws genocide of the innocents.
Must take a break to eat my neighbors dog. LoL
Sharia law outlaws everyone who does not convert to Islam.
No, Sharia law does not require or automatically force everyone to convert to Islam. Historically and under traditional Islamic jurisprudence, non-Muslims are legally permitted to live within an Islamic state without converting, though they are subject to specific legal, financial, and societal conditions.
IE. Control by Central bankers.
Great vocab words in your comments!
Remember I’m from Portland and need an explanation
Have been a Christian (by the grace of God) for 30 years. One of my (many) beefs with “The Church” is lack of enthusiasm. Inadequate wonder and awe at the mysteries of faith. You cannot be too enthusiastic in your love and adoration of God tge Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit!!
Blessings to all!!
There are still
Some clinging to the deception.
Like Athey Creek. Verse by verse Chapter by chapter Book by book. Takes about 15 years to go through the entire bible
We have attended there before we moved out of Oregon. We prefer verse by verse as well.
Because TALKING about God is VERY different from DEPENDING on Him.
EVERYONE needs to see this movie !
Whitefield was a great man. The orphanage he founded is in Savannah GA and today is an excellent private school called Bethesda.
Savannah, GA is also the birthplace of Justice Clarence Thomas, one of the greatest justices to ever sit on the Supreme Court.
Justice Thomas is from Pinpoint. It is directly across from Bethesda.
Thanks for sharing that. I got the sense from watching and reading about him that it had failed. Glad to see I was wrong.
Founded in 1740.

Don't even get me started on Talafreako...
Loved it!
Franklin was a Freemason.
The tarot card reader found The Pearl of Great Price and sold all to have it. May she be protected, provided for, mentored in her faith and walk in favor with God.
Matthew 13 in action
Good morning everyone!!!
Buenos Dias from the illegal Fireworks Capital of the Left Coast (Santa Maria, CA), Uncle Juan! Have a blessed 250th Week! 🫡🇺🇸🫡🇺🇸🫡
Hola, from Santa Barbara💥🇺🇸delighted to know you’re my neighbor!
Just got confirmed on June 14th at the same church I was baptized 1961✝️🇺🇸. Let’s keep this revival going.
You should see the Fireworks that come off the Yakama Nation in Washington state…
But we used to live in Arroyo Grande…
I live there too. The first Independence Day here, as I came home from my son's house in Nipomo, I can only describe the Santa Maria skyline as looking like a war zone!
Wasn’t it beautiful!!!
Happy Monday, Uncle J.
Happy cloudy Monday all! 😇☁️🌺
I wish! It’s brutally hot and sunny here. I have to walk my senior pup at 6am because it’s too hot for her (and me) later in the morning.
Poor pup and you! Yes - oven will be cranked up - nearing 100 this week in NoVA…. Yuck 🥵👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻
Cloudy Monday here too.
Happy Monday UJ!
This
It’s why I don’t believe in infant baptism.
Best. C&C issue. Ever!!!!!!!!!
✝️ 💜
Thank YOU, Jeff, for being unashamedly genuinely enthusiastic about Jesus, and calling attention to what GOD might be doing in these turbulent but also truly amazing times! Your cautious optimism and clinging to truth helps dispel my fears and redirect my focus on where it should be…on our good Father:). Thank you!
Well said!!! And I agree 💯!
Perfectly articulated ❤️
