#Another week has flown by, and it’s Friday again! Today’s roundup includes: the Twitter Files’ second part drops; cross-dressing pervert Sam Brinton is in trouble again; another sportscaster has seizure DURING a live broadcast; Celine Dion has a fatal, ultra-rare autoimmune condition and you’ll never guess what it might be related to; for some reason called “experts,” children are feeling hopeless and committing suicide in record numbers; Joe bidens it again, trading a notorious international arms dealer for a cross-dressing basketball player; Florida Republican resigns over covid loan accusations; and a surprising development in the Senate.

🔥 Yesterday, former New York Times Editor and now freelance journalist Bari Weiss published “Part II” of the so-called ‘Twitter Files’ exposé. I’ll save you some time: despite public denials, including in testimony under oath before Congress, Twitter WAS shadow-banning people by excluding them from search results, de-amplifying them, and deleting them from trending topics.

Even though Twitter had written standards for what constituted violations, which could have been applied even-handedly and across the board, Twitter moderators routinely ignored the standards, and instead substituted their own subjective personal feelings or intuitions about a particular user’s intent.

For example, one internal memo documenting LibsOfTikTok’s final ban conceded that the user hadn’t actually violated any standards. But the reviewers concluded that Libs “INTENDED” harm by republishing insane lefty TikTok videos. Therefore: banned for her ‘intentions.’ The decision to ban Libs wasn’t made by some intern, either. The deciding committee included the highest levels of Twitter management.

One very odd thing is how secretive Twitter was about it. Why not just SAY you’re throttling someone’s account or shadow banning them or search-banning them? Why deny it? Wouldn’t it be a more effective “punishment” to tell people they’re in trouble?

Secrecy is something inherent with leftists. Communists always deny they are communists. I think maybe life isn’t exciting for lefties unless they feel like they’re part of a secret club or something.

I almost feel like this story isn’t “news,” since everyone knew that Twitter was doing it anyway. But it’s more than news. The exposure of what Twitter was doing is massively cathartic for a lot of gaslit people who had high-follower accounts but saw their hard work crumble after falling into the political crosshairs, or whose expert professional opinions were sidelined and silenced by some 20-something content moderator at Twitter.

Like, for example, heroic Stanford professor Dr. Jay Bhattacharya, who is finally starting to understand what happened to him:

🔥 Whoopsies! Biden’s newest nuclear waste disposal expert and unattractive cross-dresser Sam Brinton is in trouble again. Newsweek ran a story this morning headlined, “Sam Brinton Warrant Issued—Biden Official Accused of Stealing Luggage Again.”

He did it AGAIN!

Just to remind you, back in September Sam was charged with stealing a navy blue hard-sided Vera Bradley bag from the luggage conveyor in the Minneapolis airport. Well, as of yesterday there’s a NEW felony arrest warrant out for him, this time in Las Vegas, where he’s allegedly stolen some more luggage at the Harry Reid International Airport.

Sam is charged with grand larceny, which applies to thefts of property valued between $1,200 and $5,000. The news is so fresh that we don’t know yet what type of bag he stole this time, but I’m betting it was a woman’s bag. Maybe he doesn’t just have a cross-dressing fetish; maybe it’s not JUST that he enjoys wearing women’s clothing, but maybe he gets his kinks wearing OTHER women’s clothing.

Klepto-transvestitism.

Or it could be he’s just a cheap little puppy pretender, and he doesn’t want to pay for his own pretty luggage. Either way, this is a super bad sign for someone whose job is to safely secure the country’s nuclear waste in highly-classified facilities.

Earlier this week, several Republican lawmakers sent a letter to Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm calling for Brinton’s resignation. The letter explained, “It is simply not possible for an individual to represent American values and simultaneously violate the felony laws of the land. Brinton’s actions, along with your Department’s lack of transparency when dealing with this matter, reflect poorly on the Department of Energy, and they raise concern as to the Biden Administration’s priorities when appointing high-ranking officials.”

Indeed.

💉 On Monday, Hawks’ announcer Bob Rathbun had some kind of appalling medical emergency on air. We’ve seen a lot of these on-air incidents over the last twelve months, haven’t we?

What are the odds that someone who works in media will have a seizure ON AIR? There are twenty-four hours in a day. It must either be that there are a TON of seizures happening that we DON’T see, or else the camera is involved somehow.

They claimed Rathbun was “dehydrated.” Dehydrated from WHAT? It’s been nearly a week, and I can’t find much about Bob’s condition other than he’s “stable,” and on Tuesday the network said he was “in good spirits” and would be released from the hospital “soon.” Nothing after that. Nor has he been back on the air. Nor has he tweeted anything since before his on-air seizure.

So anyways, stay hydrated folks. I guess.

💉 Yesterday, the Hill ran an alarming story headlined, “Celine Dion Diagnosed With Stiff-Person Syndrome: What Is It?”

What is it? It’s an ultra-rare AUTOIMMUNE disorder, that’s what.

The Hill explained “Stiff-Person Syndrome” is an ultra-rare neurological disorder affecting one person in a million. It’s a one-in-a-million shot. The disorder is “characterized by fluctuating muscle rigidity in the trunk and limbs and a heightened sensitivity to stimuli such as noise, touch, and emotional distress, which can set off muscle spasms.”

The disease ultimately transforms sufferers into human statues as it progressively locks the body into rigid positions, leaving people unable to walk or talk. It normally ends in sudden death when sufferers lose the ability to take their next breath. There is no known cure.

The condition isn’t like a novel coronavirus, which doctors fully understood from day one. In this case, doctors are, once again, baffled. The Hill explained the disorder’s cause is an enigma, but research “suggests it may be an AUTOIMMUNE ISSUE in the brain and spinal cord.”

Autoimmune is where the body’s immune system attacks ITSELF, for a wide variety of reasons, like for instance when the some of the body’s cells start acting weird and producing unnatural proteins, like spikes, just to pick a totally random example.

In a video posted to her social media, Dion, 54, said the uncontrollable spasms are affecting “every aspect” of her life, making it hard for her to walk or sing. “I always give 100% when I do my shows, but my condition is not allowing me to give you that right now,” she explained glumly.

It’s probably nothing, but Pfizer’s long list of post-authorization adverse event reports — reluctantly released under court order — includes, you guessed it, the ultra-rare Stiff Person Syndrome:

Weird! But remember, it couldn’t possibly be the safe and effective vaccines. Don’t be silly. It was probably climate change that got her.

🔥 Earlier this week, the Economist ran a story with the headline, “Young Americans Increasingly End Their Own Lives.” The sub-headline explained, “Suicide is now the second-biggest killer of ten- to 18-year-olds.”

According to newly-released data, in post-pandemic America, self-murder is the second most likely cause of death for kids after accidents. In 2021 nearly HALF of American high-school students said they’d experienced persistent feelings of sadness and hopelessness in the past year.

For some reason.

Hey, I know what you’re thinking. Stop it. Terrifying kids by constantly screaming at them that they could accidentally kill each other or their grandma, as an official policy, to increase pandemic safety compliance, was 100% necessary. So don’t complain. Instead, we should be thanking the experts for saving our lives.

You can’t make a safety omelet without breaking a few little brains.

The Economist noted that the perfectly useless experts are, and I repeat myself, BAFFLED. Again. “The causes [of child suicide] are only starting to be understood.” It could be climate change though: “Speculation over other causes has ranged from earlier puberty to the effects of social media and even to climate-change despair.”

Late in the article, the Economist finally flirts with the real cause, government-manufactured terror. But it finds blame, not in the experts or the government officials, where it belongs, but — of course — in the VIRUS:

Being locked up during the pandemic increased feelings of isolation and loneliness for many youngsters. There is increasingly compelling evidence of the harm inflicted by school closures on children’s development and mental health. Covid appears to have hurt the mental health of younger people[.]

Covid. Covid hurt their mental health. Not experts, perish the thought. What would we do without EXPERTS?

This statistic was simultaneously clueless, ironic, and revealing:

Nine out of ten children who died by suicide had some contact with the health-care system in their final year of life.

Really. Imagine that. 90% of them had contact with medical EXPERTS.

So.

🔥 Good news! Britney Griner is coming home.

A Post-Millennial article yesterday featured the headline, “BREAKING: Saudi Arabia and UAE Announce They Brokered Griner Release in Joint Statement.”

You’ll recall, I’m sure, that Joe Biden promised democrat voters that he would bring Justice to Saudi Arabia and make them a pariah state, for chopping up that muslim lefty activist/journalist Jamal Kashoggi. Now he’s haggling with them.

According to the Post-Millennial, the prisoner-swapping deal was brokered two days after the Biden Administration intervened in a civil lawsuit against Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. The Administration informed the court that bin Salman ought to get immunity from the lawsuit.

Such much for all that pariah-state stuff.

Most commenters felt like Joe didn’t make a very good bargain. To get the basketball player back, Joe traded a notorious Russian arms dealer, Viktor Bout, a dangerous criminal that Nicolas Cage played in the movie “Lords of War.” Bout has often been described as “the personification of evil.”

Maybe before he started negotiating, Biden should’ve practiced by playing Pokémon, or prepared by reading Trumps’ book, The Art of the Deal, because this is another total Joe fail. He Bidened it again, not that corporate media will say anything.

🔥 Liberals celebrated yesterday over news that Republican Joe Harding had been indicted by Biden’s DOJ for ‘fraudulently’ applying for a covid PPP loan, and late yesterday Harding resigned from the Florida Legislature. Harding authored the excellent Parent’s Rights in Education bill (which C&C multiplied him for) and which the White House nicknamed the “don’t say gay law.”

News is sparse, since Harding can’t talk much under the circumstances, and the DOJ says very little. But I’ll start by noting that in 2020 I advised all my business clients to be very cautious and ultra conservative with the PPP loans, since they were extremely easy to apply for and didn’t require very much documentation, but they included fine-print language criminalizing any errors or mistakes.

It seemed to me that the loans could easily be made into a trap.

We know some basics: Harding applied for a $150,000 PPP loan for his farm, which at the time had a lapsed corporate registration, so he had to revive the company with the Division of Corporations to apply for the loan. That’s not completely unusual, people let small companies lapse all the time, but it does suggest that the corporation wasn’t being used for anything at the time.

Harding claimed two employees on the farm, which sounds like him and his wife. The indictment alleged Harding “falsified bank statements,” but didn’t provide enough information to tell whether they meant he made up a completely fake statement, or he just submitted the wrong month or something.

According to court documents, Harding applied for the loan in December 2020, and then paid the loan back a few months later in April 2021 — long before Harding probably knew he was under any kind of investigation. Most folks who applied for PPP loans got loan forgiveness, a standard PPP program feature. But Harding paid his back, suggesting he changed his mind or had second thoughts or something. Possibly he felt morally obligated to repay the loan; I’m aware of a few people who took that position.

But, by the fine print on the PPP’s one-page application, it won’t help Harding that he paid the loan back, not in his court case. The PPP crime occurs at the moment you click “submit.”

We’ll withhold judgment until we find out more.

🔥 Arizona democrat Senator Kyrsten Sinema just left the democrat party to become an independent. Buh bye. After Rafael Warnock won the Georgia runoff election on Tuesday, democrats held 51 seats in the Senate. Now they’re back down to 50.
