I was late to the party yesterday, so I wanted to share my thank you and a verse today:
Jeff, the word-lover in me is always fascinated by your use of language and your brilliant wit. I am also wowed by your legal knowledge and ability to break it all down for regular, non-lawyer types like me. Most of all, I appreciate that you are unashamedly a Christ-follower. To chime in a little more on the Dali (I can't help myself after 30 years in the global shipping business), the crew was from Synergy (totally normal). It seems the only reason USA today mentioned there were no Maersk employees on board is due to reference to the official Maersk statement at how horrified they were about the accident and, of course, had to mention in the official statement that no Maersk employees were on board. This is normal--they hire a crew to run the ship. Also, I believe Baltimore harbor does not use tugs to guide the boats as when the Ever Forward got stuck in the mud last year in Chesapeake Bay it only had a pilot on board and no tugs to guide it. The pilot is the expert in the harbor--a fascinating career. There must be video somewhere that shows how pilots embark and disembark a shipping vessel--it's pretty cool. All that said, when I heard what happened I felt sorrow. After listening to the Governor's press conference and how much they praised all the lefties involved for their action (and how a few of them giggled during the pc--completely inappropriate), I immediately smelled a conspiracy--just not sure what it is yet.
Baltimore bridge collapse was an “absolutely brilliant strategic attack” on US critical infrastructure - most likely cyber - & our intel agencies know it. In information warfare terms, they just divided the US along the Mason Dixon line exactly like the Civil War.
Second busiest strategic roadway in the nation for hazardous material now down for 4-5 years - which is how long they say it will take to recover. Bridge was built specifically to move hazardous material - fuel, diesel, propane gas, nitrogen, highly flammable materials, chemicals and oversized cargo that cannot fit in the tunnels - that supply chain now crippled.
Make no mistake: this was an extraordinary attack in terms of planning, timing & execution.
The two critical components on that bridge are the two load-bearing pylons on each end, closest to the shore. They are bigger, thicker and deeper than anything else. These are the anchor points and they knew that hitting either one one of them would be a fatal wound to the integrity of the bridge.
Half a mile of bridge went in the river - likely you will have to build a new one. Also caused so much damage to the structural integrity of the bottom concrete part that you cannot see & won’t know until they take the wreckage apart. Structural destruction likely absolute.
Attack perfectly targeted.

Agreed that Truth's IPO is way over-valued, but as you noted - people aren't buying into Truth as much as DJT at this point.
The bridge collapse definitely seems suspicious. The timing, the secrecy, the immediate "this was a horrible accident, no need to investigate" response - all of that does not inspire confidence. Add in that this is a _huge_ blow to our internal supply chain and it looks even worse. Sadly, I doubt we'll ever hear more about it unless it turns out the culprits are somehow Republicans. :(

My introduction to the Voice of Reason came when a dear one working for the City of Gainesville was threatened with job loss for noncompliance with mandate. What? A safe, effective remedy requires me to take a jab so you won’t get sick?? Sounds like voodoo. But a guy named Mr. Childers was working for the defense of the otherwise defenseless.
