Yep, just a couple of weeks ago my friend's son (married with 2 young daughters) "tested positive" for "covid". They live in a bilevel home so he lived downstairs wearing a mask and had food delivered until he tested "negative" ...oh and the wife and toddler girls wore masks upstairs

Being in a red state, I cannot understand how people got to this point where there is no rational or logical thinking. But then, the people in charge knew what they were doing and used very powerful tools that they've apparently perfected. It's heartbreaking.

I'm in SC, live in a village on Lake Moultrie. Our Gov. didn't go bat sh-t crazy so we, kinda, missed all the C-19 crap. I only know one person who got one shot (to see his mom in NC). Our 2 eateries stayed open, 2 bars never closed, general store stayed open. Nobody really cared. I saw, maybe, 4 masked people the entire time.

Yes, I love it here.

One reason I'm ashamed to say is because so many churches were telling their members "love your neighbor!" to either get the jab or keep wearing masks.

Yeah, that and the help of the parents that raised the snowflakes to be afraid of everything and seek sympathy for having a cold.

Don’t you know that no one is ever supposed to be sick.

Your household members will catch it the same way they do a cold..they may or may not, and they may get over it in 2 days or in 2 weeks. Masking may not help that. Touching is a real issue in spreading germs and unless you have two kitchens, it can be near impossible to prevent.

Use paper towels rather than a shared hand towel. Families with many children learned this years ago. Them again, if you get it and get it over with then you’re done. We had friends who were traithrough an airport and her son threw himself in the floor and licked the floor. Out of the 4 in the family he was the only one who didn’t get sick. 😆 i don’t recommend licking the floor 😳 but thought this was funny

Since one can test "positive" for weeks, up to 90 days, your friend's son may be living in the basement, wearing a mask, and continuing with the food delivery for quite some time. So the wife (who already is caring for her two toddlers) may have her hands doubly full). When my husband got covid, which was very mild and lasted 2 whopping days, he was told that if he didn't have a fever he should come into work 2 or 3 days later, per the CDC new policy. Even if the covid test was positive. (His job mandated that he be tested weekly since he wasn't compliant with the Fauci ouchie demand.). He tested positive for about 7 weeks. Prior to this time, one simply was not allowed back to work.
