UPDATE / ERRATA

(11:02AM): After my texts blew up (and after getting an earful from Michelle), it may be that the agreement circle is smaller than I’d guessed. As I said, I don’t know much about Fishman’s positions. Update added.

The word “Sympathy” goes back to a Greek term that means to bear the burden with someone or I will suffer with you. Is it not impossible for the group of people that inflict pain on others to have sympathy for them? Does this not explain why democrats show no emotion or sympathy for families that have had family members brutally murdered by illegal aliens,(?), because they, the democrats, are responsible for causing the horrific pain, the lose of their loved one.

How about fellow citizens that are trying to get on a flight to visit family, have a business trip planned, maybe taking their family on vacation, and they have to wait in 4 or 5 hour lines at a friggin airport so democrats can try to make their senseless point to defund ICE who are already funded. Does this not explain how democrats could care less for fellow American citizens? Does this not show their utter heartlessness? How can you have sympathy for people that you are intentionally screwing?

No matter how many “No Kings Rallies” the communists fund and their fellow travelers attend, they are incapable of having sympathy or an ounce of love for fellow American citizens that they all are taking a part in making them suffer.

Think about the TSA agent that makes 50-60 thousand a year, struggling to keep their family afloat, be caught up in the wake of this democrat heartless useless scheme. They and their families suffer for months so democrats can what? make a useless insane twisted point.

Proverbs 6:16-19

There are six things that the LORD hates, seven that are an abomination to him: haughty eyes (a blatant, disdainful pride, characterizing an arrogant demeanor where someone acts superior, looking down on or scorning others), a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked plans, feet that make haste to run to evil, a false witness who breathes out lies, and one who sows discord among brothers.

Personally my heart is and always will be with Americans. I have sympathy for those of us Americans that have been so harmed by the democrats. I have sympathy for those of us who are forced to struggle in the destructive wake of the heartless evil democrat and the pain that they constantly cause.

Becky's avatar

Then there is living in the hell of trying to convince yourself that you did the right thing as a parent by “affirming” your son’s decision to “be” a woman, when it becomes horrifically obvious that, instead, you affirmed and even enabled the destruction of your son’s opportunity for a rich and rewarding life. A little forethought might have saved you all.

Evangeline's avatar

You just spoke a profound truth. Your beloved child comes to you and declares they are the opposite sex, or the preferred word, gender. By the way, we ahould be saying "sex". A loving parent will not affirm the lie, the madness. Do not tell your child what is not so. They cannot be this other sex, they are beautifully designed by God to be what they are. They can only be an imitation. Also, cross sex hormones are profoundly unhealthy and I saw them turn a middle aged man into an angry, disconnected and narcissistic mess who went no contact. What is the hormone connection to trans shooters? Nobody wants to connect those dots. Be cautious when dealing with the gender insaniry and even close relatives. They can be irrational and often feel vindicated to use violence.

Becky's avatar

I’ve read that jacking up a male’s estrogen can introduce emotions he doesn’t know what to do with. Hence, violence. I listened to one mother describe how testosterone made her daughter aggressive. Dear God, why are we DOING all this? It’s Satanic.

David A's avatar

Yes, it is "worse then we thought" Nowadays in some circles (looking at Canada and Spain) when a confused adolescent who may have suffered abuse from one of the opposite sex enters I a deep depression, they may be taught to transition, (horrible) and or encouraged to suicide, definitely no better. That is how depraved these deeply confused atheistic indoctrinated folk are.

RunningLogic's avatar

This just recently happened in Spain (encouraged to commit suicide 😞).

Juju's avatar

This is why one should stay rooted in God’s word. When you’re not it’s easy to become confused and even parents that want to do what’s right for their child’s emotional health becomes lost in a sea of worldly logic and are unable to see the destruction behind it. God’s word is the sounding board we need, and his Spirit is what taps us on the shoulder to be wary of ungodly advice and theory.

And look to the Bible:

Deuteronomy 22:5 says: "A woman shall not wear anything that pertains to a man, nor shall a man put on a woman's garment, for all who do so are an abomination to the Lord your God."

MattD's avatar

Becky, one would think the parents would “feel” this way but I vacillate between your conclusion and the opposite that they refuse to see their mistake or worse double down leveraging pride and arrogance to their own demise. Perhaps is just a matter of time or their final reconning before the inevitable moment of truth arrives. I truly don’t understand how so many seem to be able to ignore their conscience (aka God himself) for so long in this life without cracking entirely and permanently… or maybe that’s exactly what we are seeing these days? Wow, full circle comment… more coffee please!

Becky's avatar

We have to be, always, no matter how painful, examining our assumptions and beliefs and actions. Then adjust them if called for. In my experience conservatives are far better at this than leftists. Probably because conservatives believe in eternal verities, and leftists see truth as malleable.

MattD's avatar

Agree… malleable truth is what one has left (sic) when one ignores God and as a result has no active conscience or ignores it.. I am no exception at times for sure.

@BeckyI don’t even trust myself for this examination.

“Search me, O God, and know my heart" is a phrase from Psalm 139:23, where the psalmist David invites God to examine his innermost thoughts and feelings, seeking guidance and purity. This verse emphasizes the importance of self-reflection and the desire for a close relationship with God.”

Willing Spirit's avatar

I don’t trust myself because:

“The phrase "the heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked" comes from Jeremiah 17:9 in the Bible, highlighting the idea that human nature can be inherently corrupt and difficult to understand. This verse emphasizes the need for divine insight to truly know one's heart and intentions.

I believe that most, who are so far gone as to cause or encourage the ‘transition’ would definitely then double down and blame the bad consequences on society not accepting the insanity.

There seems to be some weak, controlled parents who fell for the ‘suicide’ arguments, who might be awakened.

Not saying it couldn’t happen, but to come back from that level of deception would take a miracle.

Becky I wrote this a while back.

Is affirming the concluding thoughts of a mental disorder the proper way for sane people to handle it? Think, if I started having crazy feelings, went to my doctor and said “Doc I think I’m a worm”. The doctor then affirms that my feelings are normal, he doesn’t treat my mental disorder, he cuts off my arms and my legs. Wouldn’t you think the doctor bears some if not all of the responsibility for destroying my body? Wouldn’t you think I needed some psychological help, not all of my limbs amputated? Should the teachers that seeded these thoughts, influenced into my mind, bear some of the responsibility?

What if I said I was a cat and my wife started feeding me milk from a saucer, would people that witnessed this not think my wife was a part of the problem, affirming and enabling my mental illness? Why would anyone affirm these obvious mental problems that can never be corrected by cutting a person up, you will only further damage the person.

“Primum non nocere”, first do no harm. This is the fundamental principle of medical ethics, historically attributed to Hippocrates, emphasizing that a doctors primary goal is to avoid causing a patient further harm while also working to provide benefit.

From the point of education and medicine this is savagery! Let us not forget Merrick Garland and the Biden administration legally went after parents that opposed their children having their genitals cut off or being given life altering chemicals. From the highest law enforcement agency, the governments punishing of parents that try to protect their children from this evil is pure divisive Marxism.

A girl can be a boy. A boy can be a girl. When we are forced to believe, as Orwell said 2+2=5, we are being forced to surrender our sanity, and reality.

Once cut or treated with these drugs, these psychologically manipulated kids will never be able to experience the deeper emotional bond in a relationship with the person they love. This connection is supported by the brains release of a powerful cocktail of hormones and neurotransmitters that promote pleasure, bonding and emotional intimacy. They will never experience this or the ability to naturally have a child together. Between this and handing out puberty blocking drugs or pumping male or female hormones into the opposite sex, what could possibly go wrong. This path of medicine and education is pure evil and butchery. The whole of this policy is a social experiment, again performed on our children. It’s another case of us, the American society, being the guinea pigs in their narcissistic Mengele type experiments. J.Goodrich

Becky's avatar

So well said, James. It feels like the message of Genesis, that man must resist the temptation to be God (which of course he cannot), is under direct attack, again. But then, it has never ceased.

Graphite's avatar

There is a name for a child born with a penis - boy and a name for a child without a penis - girl... Pretty simple - doesn't involve any clever manipulation of words like 'gender'

Agree.

Another analogy is anorexia. If someone thinks they’re “fat” even though they are skin and bones and barely eating enough to survive, are we supposed to “affirm” that twisted view? 😞

C. Wilson's avatar

Ah, that word "sympathy." Here is a true story from about 45 years ago. We'd been in a BIG bar fight. In police world the rules for bar fights are thus: EVERYONE on the ground goes to the jail's "hospital: and everyone standing around watching when we got there goes to JAIL. Every theater performance needs an audience. You stick around, you go to jail.

It was Satruday night about 2am and after our stop at the hospital (about 10 of us) to get bumps and bruises tended at the ER, we had to go back to work. None of us were hurt. Calls were holding. Miami area is busy 24/7, but middle of the night Sat/Sun is a dead run for police until about 4am.

I had a big road rash type scrape on my upper arm. Right where my uniform shirt would rub the rest of the night. I frequented the ER often. Where better for a female officer to pee? But, I digress. The staff also liked having us stop by. It cut down on the nonsense.

So, I knew all the staff. It was BUSY, but I had a boo-boo. Carol, one of my favorite ER nurses came zooming by...I called out to her and pointed at my boo-boo. She ran to get as big a band aid as there is. Wow. As she applied it to my pathetically small bicep, I said "wow, I'll get a lot of sympathy for that!"

She glared at me (in a way friends do) and said "Sympathy is between Sh-T and syphilis in the dictionary. LOOK IT UP." And with that she zoomed off. I chuckled as I put my gunbelt back on and arranged myself to go back to work. She was absolutely right.

That and one other expression have come out of my mouth whenever applicable. The other one ? "Failure to plan on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part."

I used the "sympathy" one yesterday. I have never been accused of "failure to communicate."

Irunthis1's avatar

My mother was fond of telling me the only place I could find sympathy in her house was between $hit and syphillis in the dictionary and I could go look there. Ya beat me to it!

C. Wilson's avatar

I have never heard that expression before or since, though I do say it. I love that you also heard it. It's quite educational, isn't it?

David K Thiel's avatar

Both of those sayings could be heard in our house from time to time. Another common one was "you can sh*t in one hand and wish in the other then see which hand fills up faster."

Janet's avatar

Lol. First time I’ve heard that and I’m old.

Cindybeeley's avatar

My mother-in-law often said this, too! Only she phrased it slightly differently. “If you’re looking for sympathy, it’s in the dictionary—between sh-t and syphillis.”

Patti's avatar

RunningLogic's avatar

I always love your stories, C. Wilson! 😁

Graphite's avatar

Sue Rosenthal's avatar

Well, there is one democrat that does have sympathy. His name is John Fetterman, and he certainly doesn't seem to be fitting in with the democratic duckling family he is a part of. He may find himself wanting to leave his little family and fly off to be with his own kind at some point.

James Goodrich's avatar

I agree with you Sue. I suppose a person that asked to be forgiven for their indiscretions, and we all have them, I know I do, has to come to a place where they then can sympathize with the people or families they have harmed. Repentance and the desire to be a better person. When Charlie Kirk was assassinated my sister said good he was pro gun right! I said I’m pro gun also, should I be assassinated?

RunningLogic's avatar

That was a great response!

Feel free to use these thoughts. When I talk to family with TDS, and make these sorts of arguments, they suddenly don’t know the harms they cause. My sister who I love and help whenever I am asked has TDS, big time. She made hundreds of thousands of dollars working with a company that makes medical machines mostly for women. They make Covid detection machines and the swabs to test. She got rich from Covid.

She tells me she’s so well read but when I mention let’s say Merrick Garland she doesn’t know who he is. She always and only mentions the 2 that were killed in Minneapolis, when I mention Ashley Babbit or Rosanne Boyland who was clubbed to death by a capital female officer on the capital steps January 6th, she never heard of them. Or Mathew Perna who while awaiting increased charges from Merrick Garland’s justice department committed suicide. The senseless suffering people and families have to go through because of these tyrannical “ultra tolerant” communists are never ending.

KC & the Sunshine's avatar

I had the misfortune of seeing Roseanne Boyland, Kennesaw, GA, beaten to death by officer Lila Morris, on video. I believe EPOCH TIMES had a few dozen videos. They slowed parts, and highlighted the mob with arrows, which greatly helped viewing.

They further humiliated Miss Boyland by claiming she had drugs in her system. Officer Morris was lauded at the Super Bowl for having “fought like hell”. She literally beat Roseanne to death with a huge stick— a pool 🎱 que sized stick— WHILE her friend pleaded for them to stop spraying her with pepper spray because she had asthma and couldn’t breathe. He repeatedly sobbed, shouting, “PLEASE STOP! You are KILLING her! She can’t breathe!” Lila Morris continued beating her with the stick though she was lying on the ground, struggling to breathe. She raised the stick above her head, with every blow.

Roseanne’s parents had a separate autopsy done. The only drug in her system was adderall, for which she had had a prescription for years. Her autopsy confirmed she was beaten to death. Each time I tell her story, I am floored that this happened in our country, at “The People’s House”, and that she was not inside the capitol, nor had she done anything wrong. She held no weapon. She was in her 30’s, walking with her friend toward the tunnels and was beaten to death by an officer of the law, who was later honored on tv.

It sounds like something that would only occur in a 3rd world country or by the CCP.

RunningLogic's avatar

That was horrible 😞 Thank you for telling her story. I didn’t know all of the details. Apparently “I can’t breathe” is only valid if you’re you’re a black, drug addled criminal 😡

Dena's avatar

It’s astonishing that with all that’s now known about 1/6, including videos available as evidence of truth, the sham committee that destroyed their “evidence” & records - that we hear nothing, seems no curiosity whatsoever for truth & accountability for those that perpetrated the coup & coverup. Only a measly pardon that does not nearly address the harm done to the lives & families of those unfairly arrested & punished.

James Goodrich's avatar

I never saw that video, I know it would anger me greatly. How these people live with themselves after beating a defenseless woman to death is hard to understand.

You are wrong. Maga got a big boost from the libertarian political wing and rfk wing - and we ARE PISSED about the war mongering, and we are not small in number.

Additionally, someone I know campaigning in Iowa said the vast majority of people he has talked to are against the war, and his team is knocking on doors of all parties. This is an echo chamber and is not reflective of America at large. The largest voting block is independents, which people seem to forget.

Sue Kelley's avatar

So .. Honest question Johnny. Assuming independents and libertarians that voted for Trump did so because they disagreed more with the Dem platform than the maga platform.

So what do they do? Vote for the (even more radical now) Democrat platform? Suddenly because not all decisions went their way, they are willing to vote FOR those things they voted AGAINST last time?

Not voting is a vote for Democratic control. I KNOW the system sucks, I KNOW there's cheating and I feel like it's mostly a uniparty( as evidenced by much of the Republicans failures to act or even outright sabotage the President and the voters,) but it's the ONLY choice we have. ( Except maybe an Article V Convention of States)

I cannot and will not vote for the Democratic party, it's far too perverse for me and the open borders cannot be sustained. Destruction of the legal system and control of every aspect of my life.... You know the score. So what say you? Do you think Maga voters and Maha voters will completely reverse their votes because they are unhappy with things not moving fast enough or decisions made they didn't agree with? Because I just don't see that happening.

I don't get people who second-guess their votes for Trump. Not saying you do, JO, you didn't say that to your credit. The choice of Trump vs open borders, DEI, race-baiting, and rampant corruption and censorship was obvious. Never-Trumpers like Lindsay Graham and Shipiro are now his fans. Avid Trump supporters like Tucker, Candace, and Rogan have turned on him. That Jeff and most of his readers support a pre-emptive war based on the same lies the government always tells (remember COVID and Iraq, but they're telling the truth about the Iran threat?) and bombing their vital infrastructure say something dark about this audience. Brave Kuwaiti Disident

BEST VIDEO OF THE YEAR

Rare moment of truth at the UN from brave Kuwaiti dissident

@JJJuraid

, invited by UN Watch:

Mr. Chair,

I heard the term “colonizers.” But who are the real colonizers? A Jewish Kingdom ruled in Judea for a thousand years. We, the Arabs, took this land.

Who Arabized Egyptians, Phoenicians, Persians and Amazighs? It was us, the Arabs.

So why does the council enshrine a lie by keeping a permanent agenda item on Palestine, while ignoring the indigenous heart of Israel returning home?

Let us be clear about who is actually defending our sovereignty. Today, Israel is a fighter for peaceful nations, freeing Gaza from Hamas and saving Iranians from the Islamic Republic.

What Israel is doing to the IRGC — stopping a genocidal regime from acquiring nuclear weapons — is a gift to humanity.

There are 57 Islamic countries and only one Jewish state, Israel. Despite the ongoing hateful desire to eliminate it, Israel has not only survived, it has thrived.

I don't believe in miracles, but this is one.

So I ask the UN: when will you end the ritual of condemning Israel?

Is it not time, instead, to learn from Israel? How to defeat terror, defend free societies, and pursue peace.

Thank you.

Nicki's avatar

Exactly. Polling people at an event that only devout republicans will attend isn’t going to give you the pulse of Trump voters. As you mentioned, he was helped a lot by libertarians who are adamantly against this war. I know a lot of people who voted for Trump - all 3 times - that are currently regretting voting for him.

SteelJ's avatar

With suicidal policies like open borders, censorship, DEI, fomenting race-hatred, not to mention candidates like Kamala and Biden, voting for Trump was a no-brainer. I voted for him 3 times. I can't vote for any democrat, ever. But it's entirely possible the Iran war could be as destructive as all those democrat policies put together. We'll see. I voted for no new wars, no censorship, Epstein exposure, and less wasteful spending. I like crushing USAID. I like the closed border. I like RFK Jr's progress, although it's too incremental. Not much to like on other fronts. Israeli influence is responsible for a lot of the failures, but not all of them. We have MIGA, not MAGA.

Johnny-O's avatar

But in reality the border isn't closed. It is improved, but there is still no wall, 5+ years into trump, and there have been no massive deportations. Pretty sure Obama still has Trump beat in that category, ironically of course.

Beth's avatar

No wall? I live in AZ. Yeah, there's a wall. And deportations. And children rescued.

What a wanker...

SteelJ's avatar
30mEdited

I'm not hung up on massive deportations. I'm not saying those calling for it are wrong, but there is a way of looking at it that I can't ignore. The US government, which the US citizenry voted into power, waved them in with a giant welcome mat. Not surprisingly, enterprising or desperate aliens came in, as they were led to believe was OK, albeit technically illegal. Now we say "sorry, we didn't mean it. Pull up your new stakes and get the hell out and take your kids with you." I don't like it. Actually, the illegals around here are friendlier, harder working, and generally more pleasant to deal with than native born, entitled, spoiled, clueless citizens who don't know how lucky they are to have been born here. Much as I like most of the newcomers, the border never should have been wide open. But we invited them in. We screwed up, not them. Deporting 30 million or whatever the number, is a pretty tough job anyway. Of course we got hard-core criminals and potential terrorists along with the "good people". They should be deported - that shouldn't have to be said but probably should be spelled out or some brainless commenter will say "you want foreign criminals and terrorists here!!"

Willing Spirit's avatar

MIGA is a lie and an insult, though you Jew haters think you are so clever.

‘I voted for Trump 3 times’ is a dead giveaway for trolls on here.

A reality check from another substack....

THE DOMINO EFFECT Of Iran NOBODY IS EXPLAINING TO YOU

Iran is not just a country at war.

It's a funding machine.

Since 1979, the Islamic regime has been the single biggest financier of terrorism in the Middle East.

Here is what collapses the moment that regime falls:

DOMINO 1: Hezbollah (Lebanon)

Iran sends them $700M to $1B+ per year.

That is their entire war budget.

No Iran = no Hezbollah.

DOMINO 2: Hamas (Gaza)

93% of Hamas funding comes from Iran.

$100-350M per year in cash.

No Iran = Hamas has no money to fight.

DOMINO 3: Houthis (Yemen)

$100-200M per year in direct transfers.

Plus weapons. Plus training. Plus IRGC commanders on the ground.

No Iran = Houthis go back to being a tribal militia with AKs.

DOMINO 4: Iraqi Militias

Kata'ib Hezbollah. Asa'ib Ahl al-Haq. Badr Organization.

All funded, armed, and directed by Iran's IRGC.

No Iran = they lose their patron. Fast.

DOMINO 5: Syrian Militias

Iran spent $16 BILLION propping up Assad.

The entire Syrian proxy network runs on Iranian money.

No Iran = no money, no mission.

People keep asking why this operation matters.

This is why.

Willing Spirit's avatar

Oh, no! I’m so worried now…a lot of people like you…and MAGA might lose them? You’re not MAGA and never have been.

You could actually try to refute my point - except you probably can't.

What so far, has the US achieved? Killing some leaders who were more moderate than the ones who have replaced them? Check! Destablizing the entire gulf region? Check! Skyrocketing energy prices? Check! Alienating allies? Check! Getting US bases destroyed? Check! Choking off fertilizer and helium? Check! Getting desalination plants destroyed? Check! Spending hundreds of billions of dollars? Check! Killing and maiming US soldiers? Check! Sending thousands (maybe 10s of thousands) of troops to the area? Check!

I could go on, but maybe you have some actual thoughts you could add?

That's the nature of polls and surveys. No matter how you answer them, your intent can be spun to state the opposite. FAKE POLLS. FAKE NEWS. So many "news" items begin with the bozo on TV quoting poll results. 😵‍💫 I call it exponential FAKENESS.

Juju's avatar

Jessica Tarlov on The Five absolutely WORSHIPS the polls. It’s like a religious doctrine to her. She has a haughty arrogance every time she presents one, and she presents several every time she is on. I used to consider polls before watching her, now I roll my eyes, even at Fox polls.

All polls do is tell you what you want them to. It’s all in the wording, and they are never worded in a way that those being questioned understand exactly what the question really means.

For instance: Fox News has a recent poll showing more people support birthright citizenship now than even three months ago. But the question doesn’t inform someone what it means. There’s a big difference between “do you think children born in the US by illegal parents should be granted citizenship?” and “do you think children born in the US by illegal parents should be granted citizenship even though each child makes their entire family, legal or not, eligible for your tax dollars to support them in every way indefinitely?”

I bet you’d get two different answers from the same person because they don’t realize it’s the exact same question.

I haven't watched Fox for awhile, but I used to see Marie Harph(sp.?) in a similar way.

I also am happy with Bobby. Even if I wish he could do more, I understand that the pharma-controlled media and Congress, not to mention brain-washed Americans, make it impossible for him to move faster.

I also like that the Trump White House has backed off on the trans thing, although it is now obvious that the agenda is so widespread that the media won't back off calling men "she", numerous schools won't back off letting boys into locker rooms and sports, and the prison system won't back off putting rapists into women's prisons.

But Iran? Oh, hell NO! Trump never said he was going to attack Iran, he said that he wouldn't start any new wars.

He stands up there and jokes about atrocities and war crimes. It's appalling.

I'm not going to choke back criticism of that because of MAHA and the trans outrages.

Obviously, he's far better than Harris would have been, but that doesn't mean that I smile and nod indulgently as he destroys Iran and its people. That takes an immorality I'm not willing to embrace.

Anchor babies can not be citizens, even if born here, because their parents are not under the jurisdiction of the U.S. government, which is one of the basic requirements. They return to their home country soon after the birth or are here illegally. Both of which exclude the babies from citizenship.

I hope so, as well. Imagine - an adult, born in the US, but raised as a Communist in China, or a Muslim in Iran, or a Communist Russia - coming back to the US and being eligible to be our President. Sorry, Jeff, but we’re all smart enough to recognize the games the media plays as we’ve been dealing with that for two decades but the fracture on the right is very, very real & super troubling. Right leaning influencers are trying to play the polling shell game by tossing the word MAGA in there so they can say there isn’t an issue. Keep in mind that there were many independent/unaffiliated/centrist Democrats and MAHA Kennedy followers that got Trump over the finish line in 2024. I can tell you firsthand in North Carolina that those Trump voters are pissed off, struggling and disgusted at this war in Iran, as well as all of the other promises that the Trump administration has failed to deliver. At this rate, the Democrats will kick the Republicans in the midterms they’ll be wearing their asses for a hat.

If you don’t recognize this, then you’re either willfully, ignoring it or trapped in your own biased bubble.

Love your daily posts but we have to be honest about what is actually going on.

John's avatar

What promises have not been delivered? I'm not upset with the war.😉

Evans W's avatar

This certainly can’t be a serious question. If it is, let’s start with the following.

Large tax cuts for middle and lower class workers.

Prevent WWIII, restore peace in Europe and in the Middle East, and build a great iron dome missile defense shield over our entire country — all made in America.

Make DOGE a permanent department.

End the weaponization of government against the American people.

Investigate the Biden autopen.

Stop the migrant crime epidemic, demolish foreign drug cartels, crush gang violence, and lock up violent offenders.

Investigate the Russian collusion and Ukraine impeachment hoaxes.

End the Department of Education.

Rebuild our cities, including Washington DC, making them clean, safe, and beautiful again.

Audit Fort Knox.

Strengthen and modernize our military, making it, without question, the strongest and most powerful in the world.

Keep the U.S. dollar as the world's reserve currency.

Prosecute leadership of NGO's responsible for importing millions of illegal immigrants.

End the Ukraine war.

Fight for and protect Social Security and Medicare with no cuts, including no changes to the retirement age.

Making photo ID and verified citizenship a requirement to vote.

Roll out a new healthcare program that all Americans can afford.

10% cap on all credit cards.

No tax on overtime & Social Security.

Cut federal funding for any school pushing critical race theory, radical gender ideology, and other inappropriate racial, sexual, or political content on our children.

Identify and prosecute voter fraud.

Outlaw Sharia law.

Keep men out of women's sports.

Investigate voting machines.

Declassify all 9/11 files.

Declassify all documents on the assassination attempts on President Trump, Jeffrey Epstein, JFK, and more.

Prosecute Mar-A-Lago raid conspirators.

Launch a sweeping crackdown on government leakers and establish a Truth and Reconciliation Commission.

Green eyed gal's avatar

Do you live under a rock or something? Let's take your list:

Large tax cuts for middle and lower class workers. - Done

Prevent WWIII, restore peace in Europe and in the Middle East, and build a great iron dome missile defense shield over our entire country — all made in America. - In progress

Make DOGE a permanent department. - Not made a permanent department, but used successfully to begin to dismantle the deep state.

End the weaponization of government against the American people. - See above

Investigate the Biden autopen. - They're working on it.

Stop the migrant crime epidemic, demolish foreign drug cartels, crush gang violence, and lock up violent offenders. - Again, they're working on it.

Investigate the Russian collusion and Ukraine impeachment hoaxes. - Again, they're working on it.

End the Department of Education. - Again, they're working on it.

Rebuild our cities, including Washington DC, making them clean, safe, and beautiful again. - Again, they're working on it. Crime in DC has fallen and it's cleaner and safer than it has been in ages. And it's not just DC. Memphis has seen a great turn around, as well.

Audit Fort Knox. - You may have something here, but his term isn't over and I, for one, am waiting to see if anything moves in this direction.

Strengthen and modernize our military, making it, without question, the strongest and most powerful in the world. - We DO have the strongest and most powerful military in the world.

Keep the U.S. dollar as the world's reserve currency. - Do you not realize that the operations in Venezuela and Iran are part of that strategy? As Jeff says, LTMW!

Prosecute leadership of NGO's responsible for importing millions of illegal immigrants. - DOGE started it the process. Let it play out.

End the Ukraine war. He's working on it. Again, Venezuela and Iran are tied to this, along with the pressure campaign in Europe. LTMW!

Fight for and protect Social Security and Medicare with no cuts, including no changes to the retirement age. - What constitutes proof of this? No cuts to SS and Medicare and no changes to retirement age? Then you can count that as a promise kept.

Making photo ID and verified citizenship a requirement to vote. - Again, he's working on it. Maybe, living under that rock, you didn't hear about the SAFE Act shenanigans going on in Congress currently?

Roll out a new healthcare program that all Americans can afford. - He literally tweeted about this Sunday. He's working on it.

10% cap on all credit cards. - Another item he's working on.

No tax on overtime & Social Security. - With the passage of OBBA, you can count this as another win.

Cut federal funding for any school pushing critical race theory, radical gender ideology, and other inappropriate racial, sexual, or political content on our children. - He is currently putting pressure on schools to remove these things. He's working on it.

Identify and prosecute voter fraud. - Jeff just had a blurb about three different voter fraud cases in the news. Guess you missed that article. But again, he's working on it.

Outlaw Sharia law. - You may have a point here.

Keep men out of women's sports. - He's working on it.

Investigate voting machines. - Fulton County raid ring a bell?

Declassify all 9/11 files. - You may have a point here.

Declassify all documents on the assassination attempts on President Trump, Jeffrey Epstein, JFK, and more. - He has declassified all Epstein documents. I'm fairly sure he's done something with the JFK documents. As far as his own assassination attempt, you may have a point, but I think we'll eventually find out.

Prosecute Mar-A-Lago raid conspirators. - He's working on it. Jack Smith is supposed to testify before Congress here soon, and I believe there's a grand jury in Florida investigating as we speak.

Launch a sweeping crackdown on government leakers and establish a Truth and Reconciliation Commission. - You may have a point here because I don't know anything about this.

It's like you think Trump is a magician who can wave a wand and make it all happen in an instant. These things take time. I am willing to give him that time because in my lifetime, I've never experienced a politician promising to do X, Y, or Z that actually attempted X, Y, or Z, let alone, pulled off X and Z and still working toward Y. He's earned the benefit of the doubt, and I'm going to give it to him.

But you can black pill if you want. Maybe that gives you comfort when you're alone, under your rock.

RunningLogic's avatar

I truly can’t understand these people who seem to be upset that after a little more than one year of being President with a mostly uncooperative Congress and activist judges fighting him every step of the way, President Trump hasn’t accomplished every single thing he promised. And he only has about 2years anyway. Midterms - from history - generally reduces president's party in Congress. Plus approaching lame-duck status where presidential power weakens as the country and politicians gear up for the election of a new president.

Lastly - every candidate makes many promises during the election. Only a few promised goals can ever be accomplished in a single term. After all, the President is not a king.

Juju's avatar

It’s not like he had a cooperative Congress before the midterms anyway. It won’t matter whether we win or lose, nothing is going to give him a cooperative Congress, so he’s not worrying himself over that and neither are we.

The was no chain of evidence and good luck making a case that way. The now adult victims just filed a lawsuit to keep their identities secret and the others that have been very visible and vocal refuse to name names. How do you make any kind of lawsuit with a hope of conviction with THAT, not to mention the corrupt lawyers and judges?

Which is EXACTLY why Biden held it under wraps. It's tainted beyond any usefulness and no one will EVER be satisfied with it.

Johnny-O's avatar

Sue, Trump has someone in a high cabinet position (lutnick) who lied about Epstein. He took his whole family to his island AFTER espteins conviction and lied about it. He was good friends and I think neighbors (if memory serves) with one of Epstein's close associates and friends, Lex Wexner - definitely corrupt and should be investigated. These folks are all criminals and are being protected.

Where are the perp walks of anyone of significance with the uncovered fraud, Epstein demonic activity, FDA/NIH scams, atmospheric spraying, defiance of ICE authority in cities with Soros-backed DA's/Mayors. I could go on. We see a "whole lotta hat, but not a lot of cattle" while people are not happy with Thune. Am I missing something? If Trump is a great negotiator, he can't see that Thune is Deep State and slow walking in the Senate a la Paul Ryan. It took me 10 seconds to prompt Grok to find out what leverage the President could have over South Dakota as negotiating leverage. A third of SD's revenues came from federal transfers. The state is ranked 11th in terms of being dependent upon federal funds. Per Grok, "Because South Dakota runs a balanced budget and raises relatively little state tax revenue, cuts or delays in federal money can quickly force the state legislature and governor to make tough choices."

Something stinks in SD. Here we are still trying to get the Save Act passed. So, BIG promise not delivered, while Trump controls levers hugely.

Juju's avatar

The better question is what have the democrats done so far that would lead anyone to believe they would be better in power?

CK's avatar

This isn’t about D verses R, it’s about finding people who will represent the will of the people and do what is right for Americans. America First means America First.

Juju's avatar
28mEdited

It most definitely is D vs R. One or the other will win. Third parties only divide the vote so that one of them can’t, OR so that 20% of the populace gets to rule over the rest. There is a very good reason why our founders saw the wisdom of needing a 51% majority. If you’re not a D or an R, then you have to win the nomination of one of their parties in the primaries. (Something Trump DID)

Simply saying you’re not going to vote Republican IS giving it to the Democrats whether you like it or not. MAGA is trying to change the Republican Party. That’s the way it needs to happen.

CK's avatar

And it’s up to us to hold our representatives accountable and the only way to do that is with our vote.

Juju's avatar

We did. And that’s how we got Trump. And we are DELIGHTED with his leadership. And we want more.

Our problems lie in the senate, and with the courts. Both are corrupt and difficult to change. The senate is blocking his appointments. The senate is blocking practically everything good he has done.

Our votes for senators is what matters. We can’t let RINOs continue to get elected. We have to elect more reps that are aligned with Trump. And the democrats know this which is why they are psyop-ing a MAGA split, because they know ANY split will hand them the senate.

Don’t be their useful tool

Cousin Clem's avatar

https://savageminds.substack.com/p/seeing-trump-clearly? Here's a different perspective about the war. I tend to agree with his take. It's a power grab. US controlling all the oil globally(I guess keeping the petro dollar the fiat currency), Israel expanding it's boundries to the new "greater Israel", US with Israel, controlling most of the Middle East, the usual characters making billions through arms sales and oil futures and I don't doubt Trump isn't one of those characters. A lot of people will die before it's all done. Business as usual.

Demeisen's avatar

Rather than post a post of everything I want, I would say I tend to agree with you (suspect it's been harder to get some of these balls moving; he's certainly tried more than any "conservative" in many decades).

But I would say the big elephant in the room is deportation. That influx is changing this country in ways a majority don't want, even if some of them get squeamish at times.

Bard Joseph's avatar

Cease fire in Gaza?

CK's avatar

What does “no new wars” mean to you? What do mass deportations look like to you? Are we getting either one of these things?

Congress wants $200B for the Iran war that’s already won. They want to cut federal healthcare spending to fund it. How do you think those optics are going to play out with Mr. and Mrs. Everyday American? Gas is over $4.00 now, I’m not hearing or reading anything about how Trump is defeating the affordability narrative.

Valerie's avatar

I agree with your point, but many of those groups you mentioned only voted for Trump because the alternative was completely unacceptable (I’m thinking Rogan here). They aren’t republicans, aren’t conservatives, and weren’t ever going to vote Republican over time most likely anyway.

Is this an issue? Absolutely. The non-crazy party, the republicans, need to have as big a tent as possible, but you aren’t going to please people over time who are only 20% bought into your worldview. I think Trump has done a remarkable job of doing what he said he was going to do when he got in office, much more so than any other president in my lifetime.

RunningLogic's avatar

If he hadn’t had to fight leftist activist judges who constantly overstep their roles to try to take over executive branch functions, we’d have made even more progress!

Margot Wooster's avatar

Something’s gotta give on this judge situation. I am praying some really big good things happen over the next 3 months, before the big 250th July 4 celebration, and certainly before Election Day in November. God’s timing is always perfect.

Valerie's avatar

For sure. The activist judges have to be reined in.

Donna in MO's avatar

Yes, ultimately, the MAGA coalition was built on Trump - whose views in total are not truly conservative. United on ending the non-stop flow of illegals. United in distrust of government. United around wanting to return to an era where we took pride in our country. And maybe a few other things.

But in my 'red' state, where Trump won by 18 points, they also voted for medicaid expansion. A ballot initiative that raises the minimum wage and provides paid sick leave, A ballot initiative that enshrines abortion in our state constitution. A friend whose hubby ran for state rep in a bluish/purple district lost in 2024 in a close race; around 300 votes. Trump won by 5 points, but every single down-ballot race went to the D candidate.

Bottom line: IMHO MO is a Trump state, but is not really a Conservative state.

Trump's hijacking of the R party is a breath of fresh air shaking up the old school moribund party, but is not really preaching the value of individual liberty, freedom, personal responsibility and fiscal restraint/shrinking big government. As a staunch fiscal conservative, I would dearly love to see more candidates standing on those principles, but am also a realist that wonders if such candidates are electable.

Evans W's avatar

Thanks so much for your comment and I totally understand it. The problem is is that we have to have those same voters to win in 2028. At this rate, they’re simply not going to be there in my humble opinion.

KateT's avatar

I think one of the biggest frustrations among the Trump 2024 coalition is the lack of prosecutions. The rot has not been cleaned out of our government. Tons of fraud has been exposed but the DOJ has done almost nothing. They only go after small fish occasionally. James O'Keefe is saying he may stop exposing the corruption because there are never any arrests.

Alan Devincentis's avatar

And if we stop fifty percent of the cheating, they don’t stand a chance. Ever. Again.

Valerie's avatar

Oh I’m 100% with you. I just don’t know how that happens unless the dems nominate another completely unacceptable person or our election integrity is improved.

There is an old saying that, in war, their are no civilians...The pope needs to learn when to keep his mouth shut and tend to his own flock of believers...

Sue Kelley's avatar

The Pope had also said all religions lead to God and is working towards a one world religion. Many Popes have turned blind eyes to child molestations and even helped perpetrators remain uncharged . One Pope helped Nazis escape to South America and hid treasures belonging to Jews taken by the Nazis. So .....

Evans W's avatar

Thank you. I do trust God, I do believe in Him. God also gave me a brain to think with, eyes to see with, and ears to hear with. God gave me all those gifts so that I could proclaim honestly, what is happening around me. I feel like I do a decent job of that and I thank God for it daily.

Thanks for saying it out loud. Our family is in NO way party loyalists and I gotta say, we won't vote like we did in the last election again. We're were never MAGA, MAHA, Libtards or anything else. Just voters trying to make the best decision. We're the swing voters. Last time, we pretty much got behind RFK jr and let trust and hope guide us in the deciding "which ones worse" for presidential. In hindsight, that was a big mistake. It now seems that things are worse than ever for our every day life (cost of groceries & gas, multiple wars, AI has unbridled go ahead, no guardrails for polluters, I could go on and on.)

RunningLogic's avatar

And honest question here—voting for the alternatives (Democrats) will improve all of these issues how, exactly?

Juju's avatar

They never have an answer for that …. Shhhhh

RunningLogic's avatar

Yes, let’s go back to vaccine passports and mask mandates and DEI quotas, because we all liked those so much.

I’m your next door neighbor in SC. The statement made by Jeff C that Republicans love to complain describes so many of my friends. I too grumble and bitch. BUT, I remind myself and friends that when I need a surgeon, and have a choice between the nice guy who botches 20% of his surgeries and a curmudgeon who has a 97% success rate, I will vote for talent, skill and knowledge over smiles and platitudes. Right now, in primary season, we must be looking hard at the candidates; pick ‘em apart so we vote intelligently. Bottom line is Trump isn’t running…to punish a party for our current grumbles will not fare well. Espresso thoughts:

1. Cory Booker is a fraud. Rush way back for his Limbaugh Letter interviewed Cory. He was framed then as a 'moderate', someone our side "could work with". History has not shown that to be the case.

2. Fake Cory doesn't want "purity tests", but ask him which pro-life Democrat he would support? Since the Democratic Party has purged pro-lifers from Congress and governorships, he will have no answer. What Cory actually means when he says Dems are "failing the moment", is that we have nobody with enough plausible deniability that we can back to fake the populace out like we did with Slick Willie in 1992.

3. Cory setting himself up as the "moderate" so he can start visiting New Hampshire after November? Maybe he isn't confident that human reptile Gavin "Burn, Baby, Burn" Newsome can reinvent himself (and ditch the hair slick mob look) in time to win, err, steal 2028. Or maybe he saw how Chris Christie didn't perform well in primaries and J.B. "Buffet" Pritzker is a Left-wing clone, so no hope there.

4. Problem for the Dems is no woman on their side is appealing enough for Americans to not think of fingernails on chalkboard when they see and listen to them. Hochul? Binder-throwing-Klobuchar? Whitmer? Pocohontas? Crazy Mazie? Even the newer members don't appeal.

SD Scott's avatar

AOC is appealing - to look at. IQ not so high.

It doesn't take Sherlock's avatar

I am reminded of a few guys I knew at work back in Clinton's first term. They tried to convince me Hillary wasn't bad looking and they found her attractive. Yes, I was dumbfounded. (One guy was a widow and the other guy wasn't looking. Both in their late 40's.) In that regards AOC is on the downslope of 'appealing', to be generous at this point. Can't say she is brighter than Kacklin' Kamala, and we saw what happened there even with all the handlers she had, and all the USAid money.

Janice Waddell's avatar

I think you looked at Hillary the same as any other woman you’d gotten to know and found her to be nothing like the person she presented herself to be - you noticed the heart - and a disgusting heart makes a person unattractive.

Peter Schott's avatar

Definitely some interesting "fractures". I tend to agree MAHA hasn't gone nearly far enough. I like what they've actually managed to accomplish, but it's not nearly far enough. Doesn't help that they're stymied at every possible turn. My one grouse might be that they've done very little to rein in mRNA shots and any sort of covid-era accountability.

I'm hopeful that the SCOTUS will rule appropriately on birth-right citizenship, but ... not really optimistic given the makeup and that several justices tend to lean the wrong way without any thoughts passing their brain cells. Then two of the "conservatives" also tend to go with feels over law - or popularity contests. We'll see, but .... :( Would be nice to get some sanity there and then tackle the "illegals get public education" decision again.

Lori's avatar

MAHA is doing great!
