Violation of the Constitution isn’t? Only Congress has the Constitutional authority to declare war. Violation of the Constitution by previous Presidents should never be used to justify continued violation of the Constitution. It’s like saying a person has gotten away with committing robbery numerous times and has never been charged now makes it okay for that person to rob again. That is faulty logic, but lawyer/judges do it all too frequently by looking at previous faulty judgements known as precedents rather than deferring to the Constitution, the document they had to swear an oath to support. Our greatest President George Washington could look back in history and see how Europeans and Asians have fought amongst themselves for millennia. He wisely advised all future generations of Americans to avoid foreign entanglements and to treat all other nations with benevolence. We should be so wise. If history is our teacher we can expect this will not end well.

Past actions by previous presidents without being impeached does it not now make it correct. The laws passed by Congress whereby they extended the period of time the President is obligated to request a declaration of war from Congress were passed as we entered into the age of atomic/nuclear intercontinental missiles. The laws were intended to allow the President to make an immediate DEFENSIVE response if the United States was being attacked. The laws were never intended to allow the President to make an offensive attack against another nation without a declaration of war from Congress. If Trump’s position on Iran is as strong as his administration would have us to believe, then seeking a declaration from Congress, the peoples voice in the federal government, should be easy. Unless it isn’t and here we are.

It should be noted that many of the noted organizations donate to both parties, but when you look closer at the organization you see it’s more of a uniparty machinery, and they are very much liberal globalists. I don’t think it is wise at this time to take donations from any organization that could cause speculation. The fact that he just accepted awards from an Iranian lobbyist funded by George Soros is disturbing.

Yes, thank you for the details of Iran's infractions that I so clearly remember beginning in 1979. My dear Iranian friend, who came here along with his wife twelve years ago for his Ph.D. and has never returned, was sent here by his father to escape Iran and military service. His father told his 4 sons that the Iranian government was lying about the U.S. (he could remember how nice the Americans were before Islamic radicals took over the government). This precious "adopted" son and his wife are now Christians. I am praying that the Iranian people may have freedom once again!

Our grand-son-in-law is a medical doctor and also a reservist who was called up for 3 months of service beginning in January…he was sent to Iraq. Back in the late 70s, as newlyweds we were headed west to SD, western WY, etc. Somewhere just east of Rapid City, one of the stealth jets, not a bomber, appeared overhead. We never heard it approach and it was gone almost before it registered that it was actually there. My hub, who grew up near a US AFB, had a knack for IDing aircraft. He had no clue what we had seen and being in the middle of BFE on a quiet highway, it was more than creepy. Clearly, it was a prototype.

Thanks to President Trump’s restraint during his frist term, America has a golden opportunity to pull away from Middle East quagmires for good.

It reminds me of a former Iranian doctor and his wife that moved and practiced in the U.S. He was a prominent neurosurgeon. I did some landscaping for his wife almost 30 years ago, and I remember her telling me what a beautiful country Iran was. How green and full of flowers it once was. She expressed regret then at what it had become.

Happy Saturday Everyone

When a group of people get together amazing things can happen. Sometimes it’s a business, sometimes it’s a congregation, sometimes like here, it can be a sub stack, or even a hockey team.

We all at times have opportunities to help others. Over the years my business has given me many of these opportunities. I get to teach people a trade and then watch them go off to make their living. Some times I help a young sub contractor grow, gain confidence, give them a trusting business relationship, it can be a very positive experience for both them and myself.

When you help others to win you are sowing a seed in them to someday help someone else. Trying to hold a person back will in the end only hold you back. If we try to be unselfish and help people get to our level, God will always make sure someone will be there to get us to the next level. I’ve learned that kindness is contagious.

Projects of all kinds get built with a team of people, and how you help those people will strengthen or weaken the team. There’s nothing more rewarding than to lay down at night knowing that you helped someone else become better. You not only fulfilled your purpose for that day, you worked hard, but you took time to invest in someone else.

This lifting of people is the most satisfying accomplishment one could ever have. There is no greater legacy than when you help someone else win. We should all learn to believe in people before they succeed. It’s easy to be someone’s friend after they’re successful. When they need us the most is before their success. Being successful doesn’t necessarily make you great, what makes you great is when you reach back and help to make someone else great. The best thing that could ever happen to me is after I’m gone someone says I would never be where I am without what he did for me.

This is a true story that reminded me very much of someone I knew that mentioned how people react to his daughter who has some disabilities.

There was a man that had a son who had some physical and mental challenges. He gave a speech in front of the school that his son attended. He thanked the staff and faculty and then cried out “Where is the perfection in my son Shaya? Everything God does is done with perfection. But my child cannot understand things as other children do. My child cannot remember facts and figures as other children do. Where is Gods perfection?” The audience was shocked by the question, pained by the father’s anguish, stilled by the piercing query. “I believe” the father answered, “that when God brings a child like this into the world the perfection that he seeks is in the way people react to this child.”

The father then went on to tell the following story of his son Shaya.

One afternoon Shaya and I walked past a park where some boys were playing baseball. Shaya asked “do you think they would let me play?” The father knew that his son was not at all athletic and that most boys would not want him on the team. But Shaya’s father also understood if his boy was chosen it may give him a comfortable sense of belonging. Shaya’s father approached one of the boys on the field and asked if Shaya could play. The boy looked around for guidance from his teammates. Getting none he took matters into his own hands and said it’s the eighth inning we are down by 6 runs I guess we can put him in the outfield and let him get up to bat. Shaya’s father was ecstatic as Shaya smiled broadly. Shaya was told to put on a glove and go play short center field.

In the bottom of the eighth inning Shaya’s team scored a few runs but were still down by 4. In the bottom of the ninth Shaya’s team scored again and now with 2 outs and the bases loaded, with the potential winning run at the plate, Shaya was due to bat. Would the team actually let Shaya bat at this juncture and give away their chance to win the game? Surprisingly Shaya was given the bat. Everyone knew that it was all but impossible because Shaya had never held a bat, but he stepped up to the plate. The first pitch was thrown and Shaya swung way late. The pitcher realized Shaya had a disability, he stepped off the mound closer to the plate and threw a softer pitch. Shaya swung again and missed. The pitcher stepped a little closer and lobbed the pitch, Shaya swung and amazingly hit the ball about 5 feet. The pitcher got the ball and saw Shaya running the best he could being cheered on by his father run Shaya run!! The pitcher easily could have thrown him out and end the game, but intentionally he threw the ball well over the first baseman’s head into right field. Shaya touched first base and with the help of the opposing team he went onto second and then third base. By this time the right fielder got the ball, he had figured out what the pitcher had done and threw the ball again over the third baseman’s head. Shaya ran in, touched home plate and scored the winning run. Both teams cheering his name picked him up and brought him off the field. Shaya for the rest of his life will remember this day.

“That day” said the father softly, with tears rolling down his face, “those 18 boys reached their level of Gods perfection.”

That day those boys deposited something in Shaya that he will never forget. Sometimes you have to give up winning so somebody else can win. Sometimes you have to make sacrifices to let someone else get ahead. What you make happen for others God will make happen for you. When you live unselfishly and you help somebody else get ahead God will make sure someday somebody will be there for you to get ahead. When you do for others what they cannot do for themselves you will always have Gods favor. Have pride, America is like no other nation on

Yes it really is, nice summary by Jeff Childers though of where things stand.

All we can really do is pray for PDJT that he doesn't let this thing spin out of hand. It needs to end fast with the mullahs gone or his presidency will be destroyed. He took a huge gamble, I hope he knows what he's doing.

Darryl Cooper (Martyr Made) has the astute (IMO) explanation that Israel told Trump that if he didn't do it then they would take out the Iranian government using nuclear weapons. Israel could not do it with conventional weapons as it doesn't have the capability, only the US does.

This is the most likely explanation to me, that Israel forced Trump's hand with what is effectively blackmail. If Trump didn't want to preside over a nuclear attack by our "ally" then he needed to do it himself. This makes far more sense than any of the other explanations out there.

Ultimately, what we need is the truth. PDJT has been far more restrained than previous presidents, and for that we should be grateful. But with everything we've seen in the shadowy world of Epstein and how the world really works, comforting lies are no longer acceptable.

I disagree. I think it’s more likely that Trump has his own agenda to fix everything once and for all his own way, separate from any desires of Israel, and he is fully aware of how to utilize Israel in a way that maintains our support of them without pandering to their every whim and wish - and he put Israel on notice of what he was going to do and that they either help and do it the way Trump wants them to or he would pull our support from Israel and let the anti-Israel lunatics permanently take the mic. In that perspective Israel had no real choice but to follow Trump’s lead and do what HE wants, not the other way around.

Frankly, both your explanation and mine are equally possible but in each of our minds our own is more likely. 🤣

The IAEA confirmed that Iran wasn't working on a nuclear weapon.

But somehow Americans prefer to believe 46 years of lying predictions, instead of reality.

And I noticed that Jeff left out of his timeline the fact that the Reagan team made a deal with the Ayatollah to keep the hostages until after the election, so that Reagan could win. They kept their word. They kept them until a minute after the inauguration.

In return Oliver North and team, which included Jeffrey Epstein, working out of the Reagan White House, supplied Iran with weapons for its war with Iraq. So the Reagan team kept their word, also.

Ah ye of little faith. You should know by now that Trump is a man of his word. Not sure where you get the idea this is "regime change." All Iran's mullahs had to do was to say "no nukes." They didn't do it. We will not be installing the next Iranian government and that is what typical regime change has looked like: we go in, take out a government, install one that is to our liking, and keep our forces there for the next 20 years hoping to make it work for us, and not the people of those nations (see Iraq and Afghanistan). Trump clearly said that what comes next will be up to the Iranian people and looks very much as though they want to return to monarchy! How deliciously ironic.

I wasn't clear enough. Initially, the Iranian regime could have remained in power simply by agreeing not to brutalize its citizens nor enrich uranium. So now it looks like the Iranian tyrants have decided to have themselves removed. It didn't have to be this way. There's another consideration: "regime change" under the neocons meant ONLY that we would take out a government we didn't like and replace it with one of our choosing, in order to accomplish American objectives which including trying to acculturate a nation like Iraq or Afghanistan to the neocon's version of American values. That always meant forever wars. This is not that. Iran is dangerous; we know that. It's not a lie like the one that took us into Iraq, for example. The Middle East is now committed to living in peace because of the Trump reset. Saudi Arabia and nearly every other ME nation and including Russia and China have either said they support this mission or they have been silent about it, which is a kind of support when it comes to international realpolitik. The US is not putting in ground troops and we're not planning on staying and the Iranian people will determine who will represent them. I don't think any of that fits what I remember as being regime change.

Another thought: the north American English colonies figured it out as time went on. The first arrangement didn't work out so we made another one. When John Fetterman won his seat in the Senate, I wrongly assumed we had elected another insane social justice warrior, and at the time, he was still unable to articulate clearly because he was recovering from a stroke. What new mess were we in now? I was sure my state would have chosen Dr. Oz. I was wrong on so many counts. It turns out that Fetterman has been the voice of reason and clarity on almost every issue that matters to me: transgenderism, illegal immigration, and now Trump's decision to strike Iran. I'm so proud of Senator John Fetterman and will vote for him in 2028, irrespective of which party he runs for.

In his defense, I will say that during the first year of Fetterman's time in the Senate, I emailed him several times about several issues and never heard back. It was maddening. I do not believe there will be peace there ever until Jesus comes back and reigns for that 1000 years talked about in Revelation Chapter 20 and then Satan is loosed again. I also believe that Israel could never be destroyed unless God did it directly so He has their back. Therefore, I wish we were not involved but support our President.

So now we have to worry about even MORE places with potentially unstable leaders who might destroy the world 🙄 Why don’t we just do an Oprah style giveaway, you get a nuke and you get a nuke and everybody gets a nuke!! Because we want nuclear equity 🙄🙄🙄 It’s bad enough that so many countries have them now. Let’s not add to the problem.
