Over the summer I went into my local high school and walked around the place a bit. Right in the main lobby is a big glass case filled with rainbows, trans info, woke info, nothing educational at all. All this Marxist woke agenda being stuffed down the throats of these pour kids. I couldn’t help but think of 8th grade kids in China taking calculus courses, getting a real class A education, while our kids are getting a headful of mind numbing nonsense. Nothing that will help them through life’s journey. The department of education is a joke and should have been abolished decades ago when Ronald Reagan was president! These communists should never again be allowed to corrupt another child let alone another generation, it’s absolute insanity!

You will never believe what happened to me in the great state of Florida during the Primary Elections….. not only did I have to show my photo ID (Gasp) but my signature was also checked (horrifying) and when I used my finger to sign and it didn’t match exactly, I was asked to try again with the stylus. It must have taken at least an extra 8 seconds because my name is long. What do you think my reaction was???? I thanked the man volunteering his time for the election and his careful attention to detail. Oh and I am a married woman so this was extra difficult! Now they expect us to accept the USPS barcode checked against voter registration, the nerve but TAW!

We have paid $196,000 of our real estate taxes (over $9,000 of the $15,000/yr we pay) over the past 20 years to a public school that was both abusing and failing our boys. In addition to that money via taxation, we had to pay for private schooling to save their education. That cost over $80,000, and it wasn’t even for college yet. (Both excelled with honors so it was the right thing to do as the public schools were pigeonholing them into either being a D student, or kept from the more challenging material they would need to excel.) We depleted my entire IRA to pay for it. And we are STILL paying close to 10k per year to this horrid school district. So we sit here without the benefits of that money growing to help our own family or our retirement all so that they can continue to indoctrinate, discriminate, and not teach other people’s kids.
Life has been extremely difficult financially for us because of all of this. Add in the costs of medical care for kids with disabilities and we were operating in the red every year so severely we couldn’t breathe. Our last graduated five years ago and we still haven’t recovered from the financial damage it caused our family.
Had we been able to apply state funds to the school of our choice instead, and not pay the public school via our taxes, our family, ALL of us, would be in a very different place right now, financially and mentally. Instead we are three years from retirement living paycheck to paycheck exactly like we were when we were first married, and lacking any of the growth an IRA would have had for me. Now it’s zero.
Your story is the story of many parents (myself included) who were forced to choose between a govt run school that was abysmal and private or homeschooling. I agree about what should be taught in schools completely. I would like to add U.S. history should be in also, but in my estimation that has become a slippery slope with socialism and wokeism being slid in by leftist school boards. Too many kids today have no idea of the history of this country past the 2016 elections. Definitely math, science, reading and writing properly. Civics and the fundamentals of our government’s workings, and how about actual life skills. My kids, now all in their forties, attended our church school in their grade school years, attended our rural public high school, and all graduated college and have good jobs, but they have fallen away from the basic principals of what our country is founded on, preferring the “I want it all right now” attitude. My grandchildren have anxiety issues and it’s “me first” too often.

Barcodes and watermarks are really hard to fraudulently fabricate. Plus, bar code readers can be used by local election officials to count paper votes. Therefore, voting machines are no longer require per se.
It is not perfect by any means, but it is extraordinarily better than the current system of voting machines illegally attached to the internet.

It's not about voting but creating a digital prison. Why not paper ballots?
Envelopes with barcodes (e.g. 1 of 24,24,526,537 registered voters, 2 of 24,24,526,537, etc) are in essence paper votes.
Barcodes and watermarks are really hard to fraudulently fabricate. Plus, bar code readers can be used by local election officials to count paper votes. Therefore, voting machines are no longer require per se.
It is not perfect by any means, but it is extraordinarily better than the current system of voting machines illegally attached to the internet.

Of course, none of the postal service fix would be necessary if a handful of GOPe Trump haters (or election cheaters?) would vote the overwhelming will of their constituents and pass the Save America Act.
I hope the Nebraska lawsuit finds traction. I live in Nebraska and our property tax burden is one of the highest in the nation with the vast majority collected going to the public school system! Just sat through a school board meeting last night and they’re losing 1.2 million in state aid and instead of finding ways to save 1.2 million they are just going to increase the burden on the taxpayer because they can. A $38 million bond was turned down, but they’re still going to tax us and do the projects that they wanted to do anyway because they can!
All schools are top heavy. I just saw the org chart for Orange County, Fl and was floored at the layers and layers of bureaucrats. It’s no wonder money doesn’t make its way down to those who deserve it - the teachers. Ugh!
